n, if the artist isn't Asian, I usually get made into Mulan--in the part when she's at the matchmakers, but in a very bad way. Giovanissa was VERY professional and accommodating. You can tell just by talking to her through text that she wants to work with you and help you make your wedding day special. She came early in the morning with Mary, the hairstylist, and got straight to work on the bridesmaids, the moms, the sisters, and the bride. Everyone loved their hair and make up and were getting compliments all day. The make up felt light and was not too dramatic. I personally think it looked perfect on everyone. The bride's mother, who never does make up, loved it and looked fabulous. I would DEFINITELY recommend Giovanissa to all my friends!

have never enjoyed getting my makeup done as most artists either go too heavy on my face or too heavy on my large eyes. So I was already dreading the idea of wedding makeup because of how dissatisfied I have been in my past experiences. An acquaintance recommended Giovanissa and I looked up her website and sent an inquiry that evening. A few hours later she emailed me back to let me know she was available for my wedding date and to give her a call to talk some details. I was blown away by how quick and familiar/friendly her response was. I gave her a call and a week later got scheduled for my trial. I am absolutely in love! I can't imagine that I will be getting makeup for special occasions done by anyone else but Giovanissa. She is an expert and professional in her art but is willing to listen and work with what you want and what will look best on you. She balanced the features of my face so well and her work is absolutely flawless; and this was all without any instruction or request from me, but simply her evaluating my facial features and recommending what she thought would look best on me. The makeup feels so incredibly light on my face (keep in mind I hardly wear makeup and despise it in general) and has maintained so well through the dry heat of a summer day. I am so excited for my wedding day makeup session and highly, highly recommend her for your special day.
