Makeup by Holly was amazing! Tierra and Sydnii were EXCELLENT! The went above and beyond my expectations! They know how to work with all skin types and hair types. I have naturally coily hair, while some of my bridesmaids have thick straight hair or wispy hair. The team was able to accomplish all the looks we wanted and added great vibes to the room. Would definitely recommend 10/10!

Holly was very easy to work with and matched us with two great stylists, Tarica for hair and Jacquie for makeup. They were so hard working and accomodating with all the different hair and makeup requests from the whole group of bridesmaids, moms and bride. I would definitely book services through Holly again!

AMAZING! I was partnered with Holly And Lisa. Holly made me gave me peace of mind from my initial virtual conversation. She asked many questions to understand my type of skin and my needs for my day. I completed a hair/makeup trail and these two ladies really shined and gave me exactly what I asked for in my trial. For my wedding i threw a small curve ball to Holly and she still delivered and impressed. These ladies were remarkable, professional, flexible, and also natural sweet ladies. I would recommend them to anyone. They made my wedding day beyond special thank you ladies.

Holly and Lisa were extremely friendly and arrived right on time. They made getting our hair and makeup done a relaxing and fun experience. Shawn (makeup) and Sydni (hair) were fantastic during my wedding preparations. At my trial they helped me put together a fantastic look from my ideas, and it all came together wonderfully on the day of. My bridesmaids and the MOG also had great experiences. I got so many compliments. I couldn't have been more pleased.

We used MBH for the wedding, bridal trial, and engagement shoot. We had a great experience throughout the process - everyone was on-time and prepared, and we got great results. Prices were competitive with other skilled (but not extremely expensive) HMUAs. They also offered flexibility for adding other party members at the last minute, though that person didn't end up using the services. I would recommend them to other brides in the Richmond area.

I had a great experience from start to finish! Chi and Tierra, who did hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party were fantastic. Not only did they make us look gorgeous, but they have great personalities as well and really added to the good vibes of my wedding day. Absolute perfection! I am truly amazed by Holly. Not only she is an amazing Makeup artist, she takes the time with each of her bride to make sure you look fantastic for your wedding. The hairstylist Chi is super talented and gifted. My hair along with bridesmaids looked exactly what I envisioned. I’d book Holly and team again and highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience with Holly Beauty Partners. I spoke with Holly personally and she was able to accommodate me when it seemed like nobody else in town could. As recommended by her, I sent in a Pinterest board of my vision and wedding theme. I did not meet my artist until the day of my wedding, so I was a little nervous, but that immediately went away when she went to work. Brittney did my hair and makeup along with my MOH's and we were both so, so happy. Everything lasted all day and night. My hair was shorter than the styles I had envisioned, yet somehow she made it happen. I don't think that I could have picked a better-suited artist on my own (and Brittney commented on that - she said that Holly is amazing at pairing up brides with artists so that they get the look they're going for). Communication was great, artist was prompt, and price was fair. I could not recommend more.

Holly was very quick to respond and was a great help! It was super easy to meet with her with zoom. Our artist Brittany was great! I did a trial a few months before with my bridal portraits and made the wedding day so much smoother and easy! I really enjoyed working with them. My bridal party and I looked great and it helped up well! They were great and I felt and looked great!

Wazhma was my hair stylist for my wedding and she did such an amazing job!!! Everyones hair was so gorgeous and it lasted all night long. She made me feel like a princess 🥰 And if you give her an inspiration picture of what you want your hair to look like, she can copy it exactly! So talented 🙂

Holly is the absolute best! You could not pick someone better for your wedding. Whether you want something natural/simple or all out glam it will be amazing. Holly did my makeup for both my wedding and engagement pictures and I don't think I have ever looked more beautiful. She offers airbrushing which held up against hours of sweating during 100+ degree weather. Her hair team is also amazing! They did a great job on my naturally curly hair as well as the rest of my wedding party.

I am so happy that I used Makeup by Holly! My mom and I both got our hair and makeup done for my wedding in June 2021. We were both so thrilled with out hairstylist and makeup artist! Arianna and Angela were amazing! They arrived early to the remote venue, they were attentive, open to ideas, and incredibly helpful. They sang along to songs, brought a fun vibe, and were our personal hype-ladies! Both were incredibly professional and efficient and produced grade A styles! I highly recommend both Arianna and Angela!

Tiara was wonderful! She made sure that everyone had the look they needed and made my ladies flawless. I love the way she paid extra attention to my skin issue and used products that would help my skin through the night! She also helped me into my dress and get anything that was on it off! She was so kind and accommodating and knowledgeable about what would work best for my complexion and hair. I looked great going to my bridal shower in September. For my wedding in October, I had Brittany and Erica. They were timely, upbeat, professional, and followed Covid protocols. I felt like a rockstar on my wedding day. Thank you all so very much! Wow! What an incredible experience from start to finish. We planned everything pre-covid, and the wedding occurred mid-covid and Holly & her team didn't miss a beat. The trial was done with the most professionalism and safety, the the wedding day was nothing short of exceptional. I can't recommend Holly and her team enough, you don't want anyone else to help make you the best version of yourself.

I didn't have time to do a trial, so I was a little apprehensive about how it would turn out on the day of my wedding. She confirmed all details and answered any questions a few days before, so I knew who was coming and when. The artist team she sent for hair and makeup were INCREDIBLE! They both did an outstanding job and were super friendly. I couldn't have been more pleased with it all turned out. I would definitely hire Holly and her accomplished team again!

Brittany did hair and makeup for my backyard wedding once we had to cancel the big event for Covid. She is hands down one of the most talented hair and makeup artists I’ve ever met and I’ve been in a few weddings. She made every vision come true and is the nicest person. She’s so calm and makes you feel beautiful during the entire process. Highly highly recommend.

My wedding was our of state and so finding the right hair and makeup artist was a challenge. From our initial contact, Holly was Extremely thorough in learning about MY style and vision. She was quick to respond and always professional. My hair and makeup trial was done the day before the wedding, as I was unable to make a separate trip to VA. Despite some setbacks (late check-in to my room) Brittany, my stylist showed up on time and ready to go. I was a little stressed about the time frame we had to work with, but Brittany remained calm and professional and was able to complete both the hair and makeup trial before my rehearsal. The next day, Brittany showed up on time, with the same positive upbeat attitude. She knocked out 6 hair styles and my Airbrush make up flawlessly, and in perfect timing. As she was finishing up, things were starting to get hectic with pictures and preparing for first looks etc. Even though Brittany was finished with her work, she politely waited in the background until things had calmed down, to collect payment. She was super sweet and very professional from start to finish. I appreciated her great attitude and phenomenal work. Everyone was very happy with their hair and I couldn't have picked a better artist to do my hair and make up. I love that she was able to accomplish what I had envisioned with only a few examples from Pinterest. I highly recommend MBH. If I ever have future hair/makeup needs I will be inquiring here!

Brittany and Taryn were FANTASTIC! I can't say enough about how great they were. They were punctual, professional, and accommodating in a stressful environment (a wedding) while working with a bride (me), several bridesmaids and a Mother of the Bride. They listened to feedback and implemented the requested changes quickly and flawlessly. Everyone at the wedding kept saying how great we all looked. I’ve never felt and looked so beautiful! The makeup artist and hairstylist who worked with my stepdaughters at the house also did an incredible job. The girls’ hair and makeup looked fabulous and it all stayed on all day. The same is true for the MUAs and stylist at the location where I got ready. Holly was also a joy to work with. I made many changes before to the wedding day. She was so accommodating that it set mind at ease and let me know that I was in good hands. I'd highly recommend working with Holly. You won’t regret it. I know I don’t and will be using them again in the future.

"I am so honored to stop and share my experience with Makeup by Holly to let everyone know how happy I was and still stare at the pictures. I first off do not wear makeup and never have been interested in doing so. I was in a wedding and reached out to Holly to ask her could she fit me in her schedule. She was surprised and honored because she know I do not wear makeup but learned I never tried a make over. Well my makeover transformation was amazing I felt like a princess. The makeup that was applied did not have me looking like a fake face I still saw me, my personal features and I had stated to her that was important to me. The color schemes she blended perfect with the way I stated to her the colors of the wedding. Holly wanted me to wear eye lashes I initially said no because my reasoning was I have seen some people have them they look really thick. So I knew I would feel awkward and wouldn't be able to wear my glasses. Well needless to say I gave in and when I tell you all No one believed I had lashes applied they were so natural and I could even put my eyeglass on with them! I shared with Holly my concerns on how my allergies made my eyes water and how I sweat on my forehead. Well everything I could have shared was taken beyond consideration and treated. Before leaving she taught me how to pat and treat my running eyes and how to remove it all that night. Holly is so amazing and blessed with some talented skills!!! I truly can say I would do a makeover for a day again under her care.. I personally can say if you want to go beyond fabulous reach out to Makeup by Holly and be transformed into the beautiful Queen or Princess you want to be.
