desmaids. Ivett and Myy were early to our venue and were completely ready to go ahead of time, which made for such a seamless day. They were both so on top of it, and their work is just stunning. As a self-proclaimed makeup girl, I really think Ivett has such a gorgeous style to her bridal makeup, and she was outstanding in terms of delivering on what each of my bridesmaids wanted as well. She was able to give some of them a more full glam look, and others who requested a more natural look really loved their makeup as well. Absolutely loved working with these ladies!

And for my hair, I wanted a romantic half up, half down style with a hair piece and they exceeded my expectations!   The morning of the wedding was an absolute dream. The team took all my minor notes, and everything came out perfect! They were fun, calming, and so efficient – we stayed completely on time! And every single one of my bridesmaids looked absolutely fantastic. I even had a few tell me that it was the best bridesmaid hair and makeup they have ever had! I had so many people tell me how beautiful I looked, but also how beautiful the entire bridal party looked! I wish I could have Ivett do my makeup every single day – I truly have never felt more beautiful and confident!

when it came to booking my bridal trial so I was able to get it done for my engagement photoshoot. It looked so beautiful for the trial and made me feel confident with how I would look for my wedding. Ivett and her beauty team were absolutely amazing! They did hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law, and everyone was SO happy with how they looked. My makeup lasted perfectly all day and night, and I felt so beautiful and confident. The whole team was professional, kind, and easy to work with—I really appreciated how they listened to what I wanted and made changes to make sure I looked how I wanted. I also really appreciated how Ivett gave me a little touch up kit so I could fix my lipstick and blot later in the night, it was so cute!!! I’m so grateful for their talent and care, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

up over an hour and a half late on the wedding day. I kept checking in with Ivett and she kept saying that Natalie was running a few minutes late but would be arriving in a couple of minutes. On a wedding day there is so much to do and everything is on a timeline so having her show up an hour and half late really threw the day off. When she did show up there was an assistant with her which made it seem more promising that we would all get what we had paid for. This was not the case. Natalie and her assistant did finish all of our hair but it was all so incredibly rushed that everyone’s hair fell out within an hour. I understand that it was August and it was hot outside, but my hair should have lasted more than one hour. My hair was a frizzy mess before my first look, before I walked down the aisle, and during my bridesmaid pictures you can watch my hair get flatter and flatter. All of our hair fell flat so quickly. My maid of honor had hers done by Natalie and by the time we did bridesmaid photos (about an hour after Natalie finished our hair), it looked like her hair had been straightened. About a week after my wedding, I still couldn’t get over how ridiculous it was that Natalie showed up over 90 minutes late and didn’t even apologize or explain why! So, I sent a message to Ivett and Natalie. Natalie replied saying that she got everyone’s hair done on time so there wasn’t a problem. Ivett replied that Natalie went to a different venue. After some back and forth with Ivett where I showed her time-stamped pictures of our hair throughout the day, and where I explained that per our contract I would’ve been charged if my bridesmaids showed up with wet hair, if we didn’t straighten our hair before hand, if we were running behind schedule etc. but her own employee showed up 90 minutes late and we didn’t even get an apology much less get any money back. We paid over $2,000 to have Ivett and Natalie do our hair and makeup and the hair fell flat (literally). Ivett’s solution to this was to offer me to get my makeup done for free. The funny part is that while I was getting my makeup done by Ivett on my wedding day, we talked about how I don’t live in Virginia anymore and we had made the trip up to Virginia for the wedding. This issue affected all 7 people that got their hair done, not just me so this felt like a strange way to make up for the situation. We were trying to make the wedding as affordable for the wedding party as possible so I didn’t require everyone to get their hair and makeup done. Everyone in the bridal party and both of our moms chose to treat themselves and get their hair done for the wedding and we were all left disappointed with the results. I am disappointed in how our hair turned out for my wedding day and how Ivett handled the issue.

Ivett also created the perfect getting-ready atmosphere with an amazing playlist that had everyone in a fun, celebratory mood. Her professionalism, talent, and ability to make everyone feel beautiful and relaxed made her an essential part of our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better artist to help us feel our best!

I wish I had a little more time before I did my first look, so I'd recommend going a little earlier and communicating with the team about your preferences for the schedule. Even though I felt a little stressed, Lulu (the makeup artist) took her time and did not make me feel rushed at all. I had such a great time the morning of my wedding and these women were a big part of that!

a soft glam, pinky blush look, and she absolutely delivered. My skin looked flawless, and the fake eyelashes looked amazing, you couldn’t tell they were fake. I’d never had my makeup professionally done, and I received so many compliments. Lulu showed up on time, was super friendly, and was quick which was very appreciated! She did all 6 of our makeup with touch ups within 6 hours. Me and my bridesmaids were obsessed with how our makeup turned out! The communication and professionalism were great throughout the process, and I’d definitely recommend them in the future!

On both occasions, Ivett was the definition of professionalism. She was timely with her responses, collaborative and communicative with our bridal looks, flexible with scheduling/travel, and an overall pleasure to work with. On the wedding day, Ivett and Sadira did HMU for myself, 7 bridesmaids, my mother, and even let me add on my grandmother for hair-do at the last minute! They worked efficiently without cutting corners and were a fun addition in our bridal suite. They made us look and feel beautiful. My bridal look lasted from noon until past 1 AM and made it through photos in the pouring rain, lots of dancing, and even our afterparty at the club. And in an odd twist of events, when one of our vendors completely bailed last minute, both women provided comforting and reassuring advice. Special shoutout to Sadira whose words of wisdom were priceless and dictated the entire rest of my wedding day (which was perfect). In summary, Makeup by Ivett was one of the best, most worthwhile decisions I made for my wedding day as a whole and I can't recommend this vendor enough.

She was also flexible and accommodating with last minutes changes. She was so calm and kind throughout the whole process. I loved my make-up so much and received so many compliments from guests. I loved that Ivett had experience with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, as this was an important factor for me. During the trial, I immediately felt that I could trust Ivett; she listened to what I wanted (to look very natural and elegant) and likewise, Violetta also clearly understood what type of hair style would be fitting for the occasion as well as my face shape, dress style, and more. On the day of, Ivett and her team arrived early, and my bridesmaids, family members, and flower girls were all so thrilled with the results of their hair and makeup. I could feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident knowing that we were in great hands. Ivett exuded great leadership and collaboration, and her calming and confident presence helped our getting ready experience to move forward seamlessly. ss. During the consultation she asked lots of questions and made me feel comfortable. On the day of my wedding, she was prompt and organized. All my bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful. After each bridesmaids makeup was done she would clean and sanitize the area which I greatly appreciated. She did an absolute amazing job with my hair and makeup! I received compliments all day on it (especially on my hair). She even gave me a little bag of makeup for touch ups during the night which I definitely used. Ivett was so wonderful and I highly recommend her to anyone!
