About this vendor
Congratulations on your Happily Ever After!
I'm Jordan Rosenstein, but everyone calls me JoRo! I'm an Atlanta based, professional makeup artist with over 10 years of experience.I have been playing with makeup for as long as I can remember, and for the past five years I have been perfecting my signature bridal soft glam look. I believe that on your wedding day, you deserve to be pampered and feel the most beautiful and confident. You are my number one priority, and together we will come up with the look you've envisioned since you were young!
A little about me:
I studied at Makeup Designory, a premiere makeup artistry school, The Georgia Film Academy, where I specialized in Special Effects makeup for film and television, and I attended Kennesaw State University, Go Owls! I have always been drawn to makeup and making those in my life feel beautiful, so becoming a wedding makeup artist was one of the easiest decisions of my life! When I am not making wedding dreams come true, I can be found on movie and tv sets bringing characters from housewives to monsters alive! All this to say, I LOVE MAKEUP and how it can make you feel!
The Makeup by JoRo Experience:
Your service starts with a skin consultation, skin prep, a facial massage, and whatever music puts you in a good mood! I will take extensive notes throughout the process, and then we will speak when the look is done. If time permits, we will make any adjustments you desire. I ask that you wear the makeup for as long as possible and then get back to me with any other notes and suggestions you have. You will never hurt my feelings, my job is to make YOU happy!
We will stay in contact up until your wedding, and on your big day, you can expect a calm, fun, confidence-boosting day. All of my Brides and Grooms receive a complimentary touch-up kit, including a sample of your lip color, powder, a makeup wipe, and so much more! If you would like any full-size products, I will be happy to bring them for you, and you will receive my artist discount if available.
I cannot wait to hear from you and make all of your wedding beauty dreams come true!
xoxo, JoRo

I found Jordan Rosenstein (Makeup by JoRo) on wedding wire and took a chance. I was looking for someone to help me as a single bride and so many agencies have high minimums and onl...
y want to do full wedding parties, especially in June on a Saturday. Jordan was willing to work with me on a wedding that was 8 months out. She is a true professional and took everything seriously from the initial conversations to her support on the day. But that was just the start!
We did a trial in March and when I sat in “her chair” – literally the kind they use on movie sets because that is also where she works – I felt like a star! She brought great lighting, even for the trial, and took detailed notes about everything we did. She encouraged me to go out and play and sweat and report back! She also wanted feedback about what I liked and did not like and kept tweaking until I loved it. She is humble and natural in her approach. Yes, she can glam you up and I did add eyelashes, but her true talent was in helping to enhance my natural beauty, so I felt like me!
Then, low and behold – as plans change and they do – we added Mom make up, Maid of Honor Hair and Make-up and Flower Girl Hair, all for a morning wedding! She didn’t miss a beat and started in one location at 5:30am moving to the venue at 8am and still finished everyone ahead of schedule! And everyone looked amazing and felt great!
A great part was also having her stay around for touch ups and to help during photos and before first dance. She was a God send! She was calm, which kept me calm, and even made sure I was drinking water! Her pro tips before the wedding were especially useful as well! She made me look and feel the best I have ever felt! My groom even teared up. And she helped my mom who is pushing 80 look and feel her best as well, even traveling 3+ hours round trip for a trial since Mom can’t drive. Wow!! I cannot imagine my wedding without her. And while I will never be married again, I won’t hesitate for some hair and make-up support the next time I have a special occasion! Thank you, Jordan for making my special day so special!
