a touchup kit for the day of and lots of instructions for myself/my planner for what to do with my hair with the placement of my hairpiece, veil, etc. in case things went wrong. I didn't have a bridal party but she did HMU for my sister, mom and MIL too (in a very efficient fashion!) and they were all so pleased. As my mom said, "she's an artist!"

I also don’t personally wear much makeup, and was afraid of not not feeling like myself with the pounds of makeup typically expected for brides. With Julie as my makeup and hair stylist, these fears were total non-issues. From our first email exchange, Julie made me feel like I had a great vision for my wedding look (which is flattering because she herself has the coolest style and portfolio!), and over time I felt less fear and more excitement. She was just as cool, supportive, and friendly in person during our makeup trials, and I was surprised with how much I enjoyed figuring out elements of the look in person. We figured out a look that made me feel like an elevated version of myself, which is exactly what I wanted. On the actual wedding day, Julie was the vendor I needed at the beginning of the wedding day. Her calm, kind presence kept me about as relaxed as I could be, and she of course did a great job of glamming up both me and the two other family members. I appreciate her so much for how she me feel both physically and emotionally on my special day. Long story short, Julie was amazing to work with and I look forward to working with her again for other life events.

f questions. She was very receptive to my ideas, while also giving incredibly helpful recommendations based on the look I wanted, the size of my bridal party, and our day-timeline. The night before my trial with Julie, I ended up getting an eye infection and had to cancel last minute. Julie was so understanding and, knowing that I was visiting from out of town for a short period of time, offered to reschedule the trial later during my visit and after the eye infection passed. The trial eventually happened, and it was so much fun! Julie was so sweet and her calmness helped me to relax and really be present in the moment. She nailed the look I wanted on the first try and after seeing just a few of my inspo photos. On my wedding day, Julie and her team arrived early and were ready to go as soon as the first appointments were scheduled. Julie replicated the look she did during the trial perfectly. She even incorporated these hairpins with lace appliques from my husband's grandmother's wedding gown, which she had helped me to make prior to the wedding. My husband's family were all so touched when they saw the hairpins later. All of our VIP ladies (1 bride, 7 bridesmaids, 1 groomswoman, 2 moms, 1 officiant) looked stunning, and Julie's team even had time to do light hair and makeup for my husband, and hair for two of our flower girls. Julie and her team also helped to keep the atmosphere light and cheerful in the bridal suite. We would absolutely loved working with Julie and would hire her again in a heartbeat!
