Julie did an incredible job on my hair and makeup for my wedding! From the trial to the wedding day she perfected my Hollywood waves and dewy but natural makeup look. I felt like a glamorous version of myself and could not have felt more beautiful! My bridesmaids and mom looked incredible. I highly recommend hiring Julie for all of your wedding hair/makeup needs!

Julie was...amazing. Full stop. Not only did she make me and our wedding party feel and look gorgeous, she did it on her own when her assistant was unable, literally at the last minute, to show up due to an emergency. Julie was unflappable and made me and our three wedding attendants not only comfortable during our sessions but also beautiful and so, so happy about our makeup and hair. We couldn't stop telling one another how lovely we were! Don't look to anyone else!

Julie was such a pleasure to work with! She is very professional, and did such a beautiful job with my wedding hair and makeup. I appreciated her attention to detail in not just her work but also in how she documented everything (hair/makeup worksheets for us to fill out), and how flexible she was when it came to which bridal party member needed what. I hired Julie to do my hair and makeup for myself and my four bridesmaids. Julie was amazing from start to finish. From the very first time we spoke, she was responsive, friendly, and clear. I did a hair/makeup trial a few weeks before the wedding and Julie worked with me to make sure every, single detail was perfect, to my liking, and looked good together. I asked Julie to replicate an updo with orchids that I had seen on the internet and she recreated it perfectly! On the day of the wedding, Julie and her assistant were prompt and worked so efficiently that there was some extra time in the schedule (I have been a bridesmaid many times and have literally never seen a makeup/hair team running ahead of schedule). My bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous, and I was so grateful that Julie and her assistant gave my bridesmaids the same care and attention to detail that I received. Julie is extremely talented, professional, and warm. I cannot recommend her enough!

Julie was absolutely incredible. We did a hair and make up trial ahead of the wedding and she spent so much time discussing and refining looks with us. On my wedding day, she was super professional and covid conscious but also made the day feel so relaxing and fun. She and her assistant made each of the bridesmaids and other ladies look so beautiful. Everyone commented on how perfect my hair and make up looked! When my mother decided to add a hair treatment to the schedule last minute she obliged happily! Afterwards she sent a write up of the look she did and all the products used. I would recommend her 100%.

Julie saved the day!! It was a couple of days before my graduation photo session and I could not find a make-up artist available for the weekend. I was so stressed and nervous. Luckily, my photographer provided me with Julie's contact information and she not only saved the day but went above and beyond what most people would do to help someone. She worked diligently and was able to contact someone from her team that would do my hair and makeup!! Throughout the entire experience, Julie was kind, very responsive, and professional. I am so happy to have met her. A day before the event Julie contacted me and connected me with the makeup artist Emily. Emily arrived on time and was very pleasant to work with. What I loved about Emily as she was attentive to what I wanted and included me in the makeup application process. Emily made me feel beautiful and the makeup felt light and had a natural glow to it ( just what I wanted ). The experience was awesome, but the makeup application and hairstyle were beyond words (very happy). Overall, Julie coordinated everything so that I would not be stressed on my special day!! She is very professional, kind, and has an amiable personality. I highly recommend Julie and without a doubt know she will not disappoint.

I was so lucky to find Julie! A couple weeks before our already twice postponed wedding, my original hair and makeup artist had some team members quit and was unable to do the hair and makeup of all of my girls. Julie was able to come in and make sure that the rest of the girls were pampered and looked beautiful! She is so talented, and her communication before the wedding was incredible. It was super comforting to know that she took Covid safety seriously! I am so grateful to Julie and so happy that she was available to make my girls look stunning!

Julie was one of the sweetest people I was able to interact with when looking for vendors for my wedding day. Although I wasn’t able to work with her directly, I can only speak on our communication via phone and text. She spent a considerable time with me on the phone, going over my questions and providing me with details I had yet to think of. She is very responsive and helpful! Unfortunately as a surprise, my bridal party had already taken care of the hair/makeup team weeks before I “met” with Julie. Her info will be saved in my phone for future occasions though! :)

I had an amazing experience with Julie as my hair and make up artist for my branded photoshoot! Not only did my hair and make up look flawless, it held up for 4 hours on a windy beach! She knew exactly the look I was going for based off of my description, and executed to perfection. Julie is so kind, knowledgable, and talented at her craft. She came through with touchups when needed and was an all-around valuable support for my shoot. So grateful to have had her as part of the team!

I was extremely impressed with Julie's attentiveness, kindness and punctuality! I hired Julie for makeup and hair for an engagement shoot and she made the entire process incredibly easy and relaxing. Having Julie and her team do my bridal party's makeup for my wedding was one of the best parts of the day! They were punctual, super friendly and fun, and even got us done a little bit early. Working with Julie was great! I did a trial session with her where we both had a chance to experiment with my look for the big day....and perfect it! On the wedding day itself, she did the hair and make-up for me, my mother and sister along with her partner. She was punctual, professional and very flexible given the hectic-ness of our day. Julie is a GEM and I highly recommend her! I planned my small wedding in LA all the way from New York, and was scrambling at the last minute to find someone to do my makeup and hair. Julie was able to accommodate me on pretty short notice, which was great. I felt like I could trust her based on the gorgeous photos of her work, and I was right! Coming from across the country, I didn't have time for a trial, but she really worked with me on the day-of to figure out what I wanted. It was really important to me that I looked natural and like an elevated version of myself, and Julie really got it spot on. Not only was her work gorgeous, but she was easy to get along with and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. She made me look and feel beautiful, and I am so grateful for finding her! Julie was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding. Makeup is so personal, she made me experience along with my bridesmaids experience so amazing. She was on time, so sweet and professional. Beyond knowledgeable of everyone’s skin tones and facial features. We all looked beautiful and most importantly comfortable. I am so happy I booked Julie for my wedding day! I usually don't wear much makeup day to day, so I was pretty nervous about having my makeup and hair done. The fear of looking "fake and cakey" was real and I usually don't trust many people with my wild hair, but Julie went above and beyond my expectations. From the very beginning she was incredibly responsive to emails and questions. I changed my mind on what I wanted several times, even after the trial, and she was incredibly patient and understanding, not too mention just super chill and fun to be around! My sister loved her look that day as well and I personally, have never felt more beautiful than I did that day. What more can a bride ask for! Thanks Julie! I absolutely loved working with Julie! Not only is Julie an incredibly talented makeup and hair artist, but she is thoughtful, kind, punctual, detail-oriented and very friendly! On such a busy and nerve-wracking day, you want vendors who will work with you to ensure that you have the best day possible. I can guarantee that Julie is without a doubt one of those people. I hired Julie and her assistant to do hair and makeup for the entire bridal party and two mothers. Everyone loved the work that was done on their hair and makeup. I had also previously done a makeup trial before the wedding with Julie and I highly recommend it! Julie works with you to make sure that your bridal look is exactly the way you want so I was happy to do the trial because I decided to adjust the look for the day of based on my trial service. Your wedding day is always full of mistakes and bad decisions but hiring Julie as my makeup artist was absolutely not one of them! She is so sweet, professional and accommodating. I am not one for much makeup but she did such an amazing job giving me the natural look I wanted for my big day. I received so many compliments and felt so beautiful. Hiring Julie was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding day. She was absolutely amazing. Throughout the process she helped me figure out exactly how I wanted to look for the wedding. After the hair trial I realized the style wasn't right for me and Julie sent me so many other options. She really worked with everyone in my group to make sure we looked exactly how we wanted. She was amazing at figuring out the schedule. I had two weddings in the same day, the first one was a Sikh wedding at 9:30 am and the second was a Christian wedding at 5:00. I needed hair and makeup for myself plus my mom and five bridesmaids. We had to leave at 8:30 for wedding #1. Julie helped put together the best team so we could sleep a few hours (we started at 5am). We were all on time and looked great. I am not Indian or Sikh but my Sikh outfit had a number of items I needed to have in my hair or wear as jewelry. Julie went above and beyond in helping me get dressed for my first wedding. I wanted to look perfect for my husband's family and she helped immensely. Then she stayed with us for wedding #1 and did a touch up before wedding #2. She even helped me out of my outfit and elaborate jewelry. My friends and I received so many compliments on our hair and makeup. One very picky friend of mine said "you all look so beautiful but all look yourself." I truly believe Julie was the best vendor I hired. If you are getting married book her!

Julie performed an absolute miracle for my makeup on my wedding day. She was extra early to the hotel, and turned me into a princess. Even more spectacular, the look lasted perfectly for the whole day: the 120˚F heat, the tears, the laughter, the extra *glistening* due to the 120˚F heat, the photos, the ceremony, more tears, more laughter, and all five billion hugs and kisses that come with a wedding. Julie made the whole process of wedding day makeup so easy, from the trial to the touch up kit to take to the church. She is so sweet and caring, she communicates so quickly, she is incredibly professional and thorough, and she always checks in to make sure you are feeling your best. With all five billion things that have to get done on the day of, Julie puts you at ease knowing that you will look amazing on your big day. I can’t thank her enough for transforming me into a bride!

Working with Julie was a total breeze, I would recommend her to anyone for makeup! I was searching for a makeup artist for the wedding and stumbled upon Julie's page. I am typically a very low-maintenance type, I don't typically wear makeup during the week, so I just wanted to look like an enhanced version of myself. And, budget friendly was a MUST! Upon first interaction with Julie, I was really amazed by her professionalism. She was ON IT. Count on prompt, detailed responses. She is very open and honest about her product and what my experience with her would be like. She has you fill out a consult form and send looks of makeup you'd like. I was really impressed by the detail- allergies, what your skin type is like, etc. She was also very conscious of my budget and worked with me for what I was looking for. Anyway, we did a trial for the engagement shoot, and spent some time going over looks and trying out shades that worked for my skin. Julie spent SO much focused time on me for my trial. We had a lot of fun working together as she is very easy to get along with. Julie's esthetician background influences her focus on skin. I love how she "pampers" the brides with a special mask before applying the makeup. It really makes your skin glow once all the makeup is done. I've never had my skin look so good! After seeing the engagement photos, I loved the natural look, but wanted a more dramatic look for the wedding. I trusted that she would nail it and she totally did. She made my eyes pop exactly how I wanted them to! I save the best two things for last: 1) We were at the wedding venue from 1:00 pm until 10 pm on an 85 degree day. I spent the entire night after dinner (about 6-10 pm) dancing. So imagine the toll that would take on my makeup. There was a photo taken of me right after and my makeup STILL looked in credible after all that sun and dancing! That was what really sold me on Julie. Not only is the initial product good, but it STAYED good the whole night despite the "wear and tear". That was my biggest "WOW" factor. 2) After the wedding... keep in mind this was well AFTER the wedding. I remembered "hey, Julie knows skincare, maybe she can give me some advice". I sent her a quick email asking about her favorite products and what my skin care goals were, and, in total Julie fashion, I get an incredibly helpful and detailed response for how to take care of my skin! Another big WOW. I couldn't believe how generous she was, even after my event was over. Julie is someone who really cares and is quick and happy to help. Could not recommend her more. Thank you, Julie, for making me look so fly on my special day!

Julie is amazing! Her services are very budget friendly and just what I wanted for the wedding. I ended up doing 2 trails to make sure the look was exactly what I wanted for the big day. On the wedding day she was on time and ready to beautify the bridal party. They all looked so beautiful! She is very communicative and organized throughout the entire process. During the hair and make up, she was very hygienic, precise, and was very informative on what products she was using. I would highly recommend Julie for your big day!

Julie is a great makeup artist. She is easy to talk to and I got exactly what I needed for my engagement photo shoot. She was prompt and asked questions to assure me that my hair and makeup is up to my liking. I highly recommend Julie and if I have another special event to go to, I'll definitely hire her again.

I cannot recommend Julie enough! She did my makeup for my wedding and she was such a delight to work with. I'm always nervous about others doing my make up because usually the artist does my makeup too dark and makes me look scary. I told Julie about my worries early on during my consultation, and during my trial, she was really patient in making sure that everything she did was exactly what I wanted. I can't thank her enough for that. She was super easy to work with, super responsive, and ALWAYS on top of it. Given that I'm super Type-A and very diligent in making sure I get everything done at a certain time, it was super helpful that she was the same way as well. During my actual wedding day, she made sure that I was comfortable, really flexible in making last minute changes, and super helpful to my family if they needed something. She went above and beyond in her services and I was so thankful that I found her. Really, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed during my wedding day that it really just carried on throughout the night. I couldn't be more happy with my services and if I ever need a makeup artist to work with, I'll definitely use Julie again.

I was worried about finding a MUA online without a personal reference, because makeup styles can vary so much, but Julie really listened to what I was looking for and executed beautifully. Julie made my dream wedding come true. I hate wearing makeup and wanted a natural beachy look, and she did exactly that. I felt like a Hawaiian princess thanks to Julie. My hair was waved perfectly to look like natural beach waves and I had the exact bronzy sunkissed glow I wanted! Julie is also so sweet and kind and takes her time to make sure you feel comfortable . I've booked Julie twice now for wedding functions. She's my absolute favorite go-to MUA! She's so flexible and will do whatever she can to accommodate your schedule to ease the stress & nerves of the big day! She's very professional & just has a great personality! You can tell her how you want to look, send her pictures; she welcomes your opinion but at the same time offers her own professional advice of what she thinks will look good on you & your skin. She's very delicate and gave me a natural flawless finish every time! That is what I love... she brings out your natural beauty and you will not walk out looking or feeling "cakey". I think she has perfected the subtle smokey eye, making my eyes pop out each time. She's also a master of her own craft. I didn't realize how much goes into a flawless face! This review is long over due. Julie was super professional and down to earth throughout the whole process. She was willing to meet me at ULTA just to help me pick out some hair accessories. What I liked the most about my wedding day make up was she always asked me if I needed a break from eye make up application. Julie is caring and thoughtful when it comes to asking what you want for your look. If you're anything like me (undecisive) she will give you her opinion about what might look best and go from there. I totally recommend her for all your beauty needs.

Wow! Julie is such a talented make up artist with an amazing personality! I first came to her for an eyelash perm and the results far exceeded my expectations. I got so many compliments on my eyes. She really made them pop! She made that experience so enjoyable that I had to come back to her when it came time for my friends wedding. I was a bridesmaid. I don't really wear make up and Julie kept this in mind when giving me a more natural and elegant look. She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable the whole way through. She made me feel and look so beautiful! A girl needs that every once in a while. I am definitely coming back to her for any future events and for my eyelash perms!

Julie is so talented, sweet, and wonderful! She did my make up as well as my moms. She traveled to my house was early and with such great spirit! I was shooting for a glamorous natural look and she made it happen! I also mentioned to her how I didn't want to use fake eyelashes for the wedding and she recommended I get a perm, so I gave it a shot I was so excited with the results of my own lashes they looked long and full! My mom is not such a big fan of make up and was a little concerned of getting her make up done, but when she saw the results she was amazed and totally satisfied! After my experiences with Julie Hirji, I cannot stop raving to all my friends how incredibly talented she is! I was recently a bridesmaid and Ms. Hirji did my makeup on two special occasions.
