Makeup by Kamielea

Kamielea is by far the best makeup artist I've ever worked with! We met by chance when she helped me pick out a lipstick shade at a local makeup store and a few months later, I booked her to do my makeup for a fitness competition. Fast forward a year and a half, and she has done my makeup for competitions, a photo shoot, a black tie event and several parties. All of these events require completely different looks, and she always nails it. Always sweet and professional, Kamielea is a class act, and you will not regret booking with her!

For so many years I’ve tried makeup artist after makeup artist and never got what I wanted. It was either too much or not enough and sometimes it was not even close to the look I described or showed them a picture of. That all changed when I met Kamielea for my maternity photo shoot. I’ve been hooked ever since and she’s done my makeup for quite a few events/shoots for the past year now. I’ll never go to anyone else. She crushes the “matte” look that I love so much. She can pretty much do it all! From natural glow to full coverage to amazing Halloween makeup. Look no further! You won’t regret it!

I had no clue who was going to do my makeup for my wedding as my husband and I decided to have a destination wedding. Walking through downtown San Diego, I walked into the MAC store and left my name for one of the makeup artist to contact me. Thankfully Kamie called me and we set up a make up trial. She was so flexible and met me at our time share in Escondido. Once she finished the makeup trial, I knew she was the one! It felt so natural and looked so glamorous! When my fiancee at the time saw me he was in awe on how natural it looked. Hired!! My bridesmaids fell in love with her work and they all decided to get their make up done by her too. My bridesmaids and I looked absolutely flawless on the wedding day! You can definitely see Kamie's genuine love for this field of work! She has a passion for what she does and she does amazing work! I initially hired Kamie to do wedding makeup for my bridesmaids & I for our July Wedding. She was actually referred to me by a family member. She was very easy to work with & promptly responded to my inquiry & answered all my questions. We did a trial makeup session in June on the day of my Bachelorette Party. I loved my look & got so many compliments. It gave me peace of mind knowing Kamie would also make me look that beautiful again on my Wedding Day. I loved my look so much that I booked Kamie to do my makeup again for family picture taking 2 days after my wedding, Kamie was very flexible with scheduling on our Wedding Day since I needed her to start a half hour earlier than originally planned. She arrived on time to set-up so we could stay on schedule. She was patient & didn’t get annoyed when one of my bridesmaids arrived late. Even though that put us behind schedule, Kamie didn’t sacrifice quality by rushing the creative process. She created makeup for each individual based on what each person wanted but offered suggestions to give them their best look. In the end we all loved our makeup.
