About this vendor
Based in South Yarmouth, MA, MakeUp By Leva is a wedding makeup company. A freelance makeup artist, founder Leva offers mobile beauty services throughout the New England area and farther afield. She prides herself on her skills in creating personalized, flattering looks for every face.
Leva’s years of experience in the beauty industry began with a job in Sephora. This position awakened her passion for makeup and taught her invaluable skills. It showed her how to work with all skin tones and types to give her customers their desired look. Leva likes to use exclusively high-end makeup, preferring brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills and Laura Mercier.
Through her makeup, Leva wants you to look and feel your best on your special day. She knows how to apply products that look just as good in person as they do in photos. This artist recommends that her clients opt for a preliminary trial, to figure out the sort of makeup that they want to wear. Her services include preparing your skin for the day ahead, and false eyelashes to delicately accent your eyes. Leva is also happy to do your makeup for an engagement photoshoot, as well as work with your wedding party.

I tried to support a local make up artist. After giving my deposit for a trial and a half ass scheduled appt as in the day was booked but never a time or a place to meet (should’ve...
know red flag) but I knew this person and had good faith. Well she cancelled the day of saying she had to have an unexpected meeting. So I let a month go by and crickets. So now I’m chasing her to reschedule and we are 3 months out from my wedding. Still haven’t heard anything and at this point it’s not the money its the principal and the extra aggravation. I’ve reached out several times. Today I wrote her on fb because we have been fb friends since I knew her previously and told her I would be reaching out to the BBB. Well wouldn’t you know in the middle of writing this review I get my deposit back. I’m writing this review because of poor practice. She should be ashamed, mean while I can see she’s living her best life on vacation, out partying ect. Think twice before booking!!!!!!!
Pretty disappointed in how things turned out. I had scheduled a makeup trial with her but she ended canceling on the day of in the early morning around 7ish. Then never followed up...
with rescheduling anything. When I followed back up on her about the wedding day which is 2 months away, it took her a whole day to respond with she wasn't comfortable due to COVID. I just wished she mentioned this is the begining instead of having me have a panic attack and try running around looking for a new makeup artist.
I loved working with Leva. She did my wedding trial makeup, wedding day makeup and makeup for five of my bridesmaids. During the trial, we tried variations of the look I wanted. As...
someone that doesn’t usually put on a lot of makeup, it was important to me that the makeup didn’t look overdone but also looked different from my everyday look. She made sure I felt comfortable with the look and recommended lipstick for me to get so I could have it ready to reapply throughout the big day. On the big day, she arrived to the getting ready site early to setup and made sure everything went smoothly. She listened to each of us and created a look that was personalized for each person’s style. We all loved how it turned out. She is really friendly and professional. I would highly recommend her!
I absolutely loved working with Leva. She was professional, attentive, and most of all she knew how to make me feel beautiful on my big day. I am not a person who knows anything ab...
out makeup let alone how to do my own so it was important to me that I worked with someone who I could trust, someone who I felt listened and understood what I wanted, and Leva embodied that. 10/10 I would recommend her to anyone!
I absolutely loved my make up done by Leva! I had a test run a month or two before the wedding and she 100% nailed the look I was going for. I don’t typically wear a ton of make up...
on a regular basis and I was afraid of getting caked on and looking like a clown, but Leva made sure I was glowing on my wedding day. She is also an absolute sweetheart and so easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend her for your special day.
For my wedding I had 8 bridesmaids. I chose Leva and her assistant for my bridal party, including the mothers and flower girls. They did an amazing job working with each individual...
and their preferred looks. It was so impressive how they finished everyone in a timely manner all while making sure everyone was happy with the outcome. Everything went smooth and we didn’t feel rushed. They finished early enough for everyone to eat, take pictures and pop a bottle! It was a great start to our special day and we really appreciated them being a part of the glam. I definitely recommend Leva and her team to any bridal party, because you won’t be disappointed for sure ❤️
