eginning, Maddie was very accommodating — one of her original stylists completely messed up my hair for my trial, but she made it right and assigned me a new stylist, who did a great job. Unfortunately, as the wedding approached, major issues started to arise. Maddie made an error in the timeline by completely leaving out one of my bridesmaids, even though she was clearly listed in the original contract. When I brought it up, instead of taking responsibility, she tried to claim that she could only fit my bridesmaid in “if there was time,” or if I paid for an extra stylist or early start fee — which made no sense since she was the one who made the scheduling mistake. Then, after the wedding, Maddie claimed I had an “additional” bridesmaid and said I owed another $150. This was absolutely incorrect — the number of services matched exactly what was listed in the contract. It was the same bridesmaid she had forgotten to include in the timeline. To make matters worse, the stylist assigned to that bridesmaid was extremely rude. She told my bridesmaid, “I only have 12 minutes, so I’ll see what I can do,” and then stopped exactly at the time she said, leaving the hairstyle unfinished. My bridesmaid had to fix her own hair afterward. For a $150 bridesmaid hairstyle, that level of service was unacceptable. My own hairdresser also showed up 40 minutes late, which pushed back the entire day’s schedule. I had planned to take photos before the ceremony but ended up needing to do them during cocktail hour because of the delay. When I brought this up to Maddie, she tried to argue that the stylist wasn’t late, which was simply not true — she was scheduled to start at 10:00 and didn’t begin until 10:40. For the amount of money charged, I expected professionalism, accountability, and respect for the schedule and contract. Unfortunately, I received none of those things. I would not recommend Makeup by Maddie to any future brides. I will also be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau regarding my experience.

oth did a FANTASTIC job. Madeline takes the time to ask questions and makes sure your getting the look that you want - whether its natural or full glam. Lisa even helped with our flower girls hair last minute which was super nice. They are just the best! I would 1000% recommend Madeline and Lisa for any event. Thank you for making me feel so beautiful!
