About Makeup by Mari My name is Maricella Metzler, and I am a professional makeup artist with years of experience in creating beautiful, natural-looking bridal looks. I am a native Houstonian and have worked closely with many wedding planners and brides over the years. I understand that a wedding day is one of the most important days in a bride's life, and I am honored to be a part of making them look and feel their best every time. I know that sounds cliche, but I truly value each client. I also value repeat business, so it is my goal for a bride to return for impeccable makeup for all the special moments in her life. Makeup by Mari's Style I work closely with my brides to create a personalized look that enhances their natural beauty and compliments their dress and overall wedding theme. I use only the highest-quality, long-lasting products to ensure they look flawless from the first dance to the last goodbye. As we all know, makeup is designed to enhance our natural beauty and bring out our best features. Having flawless skin as a canvas for makeup application allows for a more seamless and natural-looking finish. During my bridal makeup previews, I take the time to educate my brides about the best products to help make their skin the best it can be on the big day. Blemishes and breakouts due to stress can't always be prevented and are entirely normal, so my process ensures a long-lasting glowy, and classic look. I do my best to be mindful of everyone's schedule, and one of the things my brides love most is that I am fast and thorough at what I do. I can apply makeup for an entire bridal party and the bride with time to spare - no one wants to sit in a makeup chair for hours. I am also available for touch-up makeup for those who want it. In 2020, I won The Knot's "Best of Weddings Award," and I am available to travel for destination weddings.
