This review is long overdue! Mariia did my hair and makeup for our engagement photo session and wedding day photos. We did loose curls for the ceremony and a messy bun for the reception. I was behind schedule getting my bustle fixed during cocktail hour but she was so accommodating and got my hair redone in lightning speed. She is professional, fun, talented, and really listens to your needs and preferences. Hire her for your wedding!

Mary is truly a professional, my makeup has never ever looked this good! She listed carefully to all my preferences and knew exactly what I wanted. I appreciate how friendly she was, exactly what I needed for a stressful morning! She also did three of my bridesmaids and they all looked stunning. I highly recommend Mary no matter where you are and what occasion, she’ll make you look gorgeous 🥰

MaryLy is absolutely fabulous and is truly concerned with how you feel and like the make up before leaving her chair. On short notice I requested an appointment for hair and makeup and she was able to support for an upcoming holiday party. She is the sweetest gal. I will definitely be coming back for more looks. The makeup look she did is stunning - definitely recommend for your next photoshoot, event or wedding!

The best makeup & hairstyle team !
Mariia and her team was so incredibly sweet! They are so detail oriented and experienced that I knew they were the perfect team to have on my wedding day! Their communication has been so easy and responsive. They’re flexible and willing to go above and beyond to make your events feel so special. Mariia and Jenny did an amazing job making all my girls absolutely beautiful and my flower girl feel like a princess. Could not recommend them more!!❤️

A HUGE thanks to Mariia and Tanya for making all of my dreams come true! As someone who NEVER gets dolled up, I felt like an absolute princess at my wedding and it was all thanks to the Makeup by MaryLy team! My entire Bridal Party felt absolutely beautiful, and that was also a huge plus!
My favorite part about Makeup by MaryLy is the attention to detail.
From the initial questionnaire, to the trial run, to the day-of, everything was so smooth and effortless.
Everyone was super communicative and made my vision come to life! There wasn't a doubt in my mind that wasn't going to love the final look!

I usually don’t wear makeup on daily basis, so I don’t know how to do my make up for special occasions. When I need to attend an event and I want to look gorgeous I simply make an appointment with Mariia. She is specialized in wedding make up and hair style, but she can do any type of make up. Just look at her portfolio. She is professional and super talented make up artist. I’m considering to take make up lessons with her in future.

Highly recommend! Mariia did an incredible job not just on myself but also my mom, the mother of the groom and my bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous and loved how they looked. Mariia was so attentive and created looks that fit each person so beautifully. She highlighted each person's natural beauty and we all felt like ourselves. The best part of the day was seeing how happy everyone was with the results! I had worked really hard to convince my mom and mother of the groom to let me book their hair and make up and I am so glad I did!I did my trial with Mariia a month prior and she was so gracious and kind about any tweaks I wanted to make - they truly want you to be happy with the results (and I loved my wedding look!). She is very organized and makes sure everything is planned well and runs smoothly day off. You will receive your timeline 1 week prior and the team is so professional and calm.She really set a great tone for a wonderful day. I will definitely book them again for any future hair/make up needs

Makeup by MaryLy was recommended to me by photographer( Elena Skaya) and wow what a great recommendation! Mariia was so easy to communicate with, which is impressive given the volume of inquiries and messages that l'm sure come her way!
During my hair and makeup trial, Mariia and Dinara were so great. They listened to what I wanted and adjusted my look as needed. On my wedding day, I asked for some slight modifications from trial day and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. My guests still comment on how beautiful my up-do was and how my makeup was a perfect soft glam, but still looked like me!
My larger bridal party (9), mom, and mother-in-law all looked stunning. Couldn't recommend this team enough!! Thanks for everything, Mariia!

I had such a wonderful experience with Mariia who did my hair and makeup for my wedding! As I began getting my makeup, there were discussions about moving the outdoor ceremony indoors which was upsetting for me, and Mariia was so patient as I required more time and touchups . Mariia is so talented, and I was thrilled to see the bridal parties' ideas come to reality. The mothers, bridesmaids, flower girls, and I don't do much with our hair or makeup typically, and everyone looked and felt incredible! We took pictures outside in rain/mist and everything still lasted ALL night! Highly recommend!

Maria is the best artist I've had so far! She listens what exactly you want and I had the best experience with her! She is very friendly and very easy to work with! Mariia was my make up artist for my wedding day! And she was amazing! She also did the make up for all of my bridesmaids, and she finished everyone on time and also made great conversation while she was working. I would definitely recommend this business for anyone looking for professional make up. They are all very professional and very sweet, you will not be disappointed! If your looking to start a career as a Makeup Artist this is the place for you!
I am currently enrolled in classes at Makeup by Maryly in Virginia Beach . You don’t just learn how to apply makeup. You learn the history, color theory, proper techniques and application. I’ve learned so much since starting. I can definitely see a difference and growth in my artistry from when I began. The instructor Mariia is very patient and knowledgeable.

I found Makeup by Maryly through a simple Google search. I was looking for a make-up artist to work with various age ranges for a three generation photo shoot. Mariia (owner) was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable! Our “beat faces” and numerous compliments was evidence of this! We were all extremely pleased!
