As an out-of-town bride planning a Rhode Island wedding from Florida, finding a makeup artist was one of the easier parts of the planning process and that's all thanks to Rosie. No...t only is she a true gem of a person, but she's also very professional and an exceptional makeup artist! From the minute I reached out she was prompt in her responses, easy to talk to, flexible and understanding of my unreliable schedule, and even recommended a hairstylist to me. I also felt that her prices were very fair in comparison to other makeup artists in the area.
Rosie has a way of listening to what you want and making it perfect for *you* - Your bone structure, your facial features, whatever it may be, she knows how to accentuate to perfection. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup, and wanted to feel a little 'done-up' but still feel like myself, and Rosie knew just what to do. I just got a sneak peak of our pics and I am SO pleased with my makeup! I truly look like I have a filter on, but still look like myself - it's *exactly* what I wanted.
I also have to add that Rosie is a JOY to work with. My bridesmaids continued to talk about how much fun they had with Rosie and Amy Jo (her hairstylist recommendation) well through the wedding and days after. It made me realize that Rosie & Amy Jo came in on the morning of the wedding and set the *best* tone for all of us - Something you don't think about or realize how important it is until after it's all said and done. I didn't know how I'd be feeling the morning of, and there were zero nerves because the overall energy in suite was beaming with positivity. I love you for that, Rosie and Amy Jo.
You won't regret bringing Rosie onto your team if you have an upcoming RI/NE wedding! And if she recommends Amy Jo for hair... don't even question it. Just do it.
