Makeup By Roxy

so much fun. They made me feel absolutely beautiful and confident on the most important day of my life. A huge thank you to Mimi, my makeup artist, who is not only incredibly talented but also one of the sweetest people ever. She listened so carefully to exactly what I wanted and created the most flawless, soft glam look that lasted all day and night. I truly felt like the best version of myself because of her talent and kindness. And Liz absolutely brought my dream hairstyle to life! I showed her my vision, and somehow she made it even better than I imagined. The entire Makeup by Roxy team also did an amazing job on all of my bridesmaids and the special women in my life. Everyone looked stunning, felt beautiful, and was so happy with their hair and makeup. The artists made the whole getting-ready experience feel relaxed, fun, and special for all of us. I cannot recommend Makeup by Roxy enough for any bride looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely caring beauty team. Thank you for helping make my wedding day feel so magical and unforgettable!

ocked it out of the park. Not only did my hair and makeup turn out better than I could’ve hoped for, but they’re also just the kind of humans you want around on your wedding day. Equal parts hype squad, therapists, and magicians. I felt so confident and genuinely beautiful, and I hope every bride can have that moment of looking in the mirror and thinking, “okay wow…that’s me??” 10/10, would book them again and again ❤️❤️

ut them enough

ey were so accommodating, kind, and professional. They not only finished everyone’s hair and makeup on time—actually a little early—but made the whole morning feel fun and stress-free. My wedding party loved their looks, and I have truly never felt more beautiful. My hair and makeup exceeded my expectations and lasted perfectly through the entire night. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome or the experience. Highly recommend!

prom. 7 years later when I was planning my wedding, the only team I saw myself using was Makeup by Roxy. Best. Decision. Ever. Just as I felt so amazing for my proms nearly a decade ago, Makeup by Roxy made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! Which was no easy feat, as I had a very large bridal party (9 girls!) and 2 grandmothers who also needed their hair & makeup done. Our team did not even bat an eye! They arrived on time and seemed genuinely happy to celebrate with us. It’s SO important to be able to trust your vendors, and from the first consultation I knew we were in great hands. I always felt comfortable voicing my opinion and incredibly supported by my team. Their support went beyond my wedding day too, as I learned they also do hair extensions. I had been wanting to get extensions installed prior to my wedding, so finding out they could do that for me made things so much easier. My extension stylist and wedding stylist were able to coordinate regarding the placement of my extensions to ensure they would blend perfectly with my bridal hair. If I ever find myself needing a glam squad again in the future, I will absolutely return to Makeup by Roxy!

lasted beautifully all day and photographed perfectly. We are so grateful for their expertise and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, talented, and caring team.

uick to respond and answer any questions or concerns. On the wedding day, they were on time, worked efficiently, and even finished early — without ever making us feel rushed or compromising on quality. Everyone looked flawless and lasted all day and night long. What really stood out is not just their skill, but how well they listened to what we wanted and made sure everyone was happy with their end product. I am more a “natural” bride and that is exactly what I got. I have never felt more beautiful, and this team is to thank for that.

e me and all of my bridesmaids/moms were happy with everything. Our hair and makeup held up all night and we received so many compliments!

E hit. The options she provided were perfect.  The Makeup by Roxy team also got my party of 13 ready early so we had plenty of time in our schedule and weren’t rushed. Not only did the stylists bring the vibes but several of my bridesmaids said it was the best hair and makeup they’ve ever had done for a wedding. I loved by look— Bobbi and Taryn slayed. Look no further to book your glam squad!!

ized and very quick to get back to you whether through email or text. I can not say enough good things about Makeup by Roxy.

r team was. My hair and makeup for my special day was perfect. I'm eternally grateful to MBR.

fect. From the trial, to the communication leading up to the wedding, to the day of—it all went so smoothly. They kept us on schedule, finished everything on time, and made the whole morning stress-free. Our hair and makeup not only looked beautiful but also lasted all night, which was so important to me. I truly couldn’t have been happier with their services, and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for hair and makeup for their wedding!

ollaborated on my wedding look. They were patient and sweet (even when I changed my mind once or twice 😉). During wedding week, I went to get a blow out by Meg and she was the sweetest! My sister got a blow out too and was able to sit in during my appointment which was so special. On the big day, Kristina, Lizzy, Marita and Kait all crushed it! These lovely ladies are friendly and kind, making you feel like you’ve known them for years, while still maintaining a level of receptivity, respect and professionalism that can be difficult to find. I would 10000% recommend MBR to anyone for any occasion!! THANK YOU MBR!!! I felt like a princess!! 🥹

y and photographed beautifully, and my bridal party looked stunning as well. Beyond their incredible talent, the team brought such a calm and positive energy to the morning, which made the experience even more special. I couldn’t recommend them more highly to future brides!

though i loved what my hair looked like for the wedding, it wasn’t what we did during the trial. My makeup was just a bit darker than my skin tone. Otherwise myself and my girls were extremely satisfied with what we got!

k (dark blue lipstick) and Kristina designed a look that matched what I had envisioned perfectly! She was super accommodating of all of my bridesmaids asks and everyone loved their makeup. I can't thank her enough! Talia did mine and my wedding parties' hair and it all came out amazing! She did such cute and sweet curls on our mothers and gave me the retro-volumized style of my dreams. She even styled my brother's hair a bit before the ceremony! She can do it all!

idesmaids and our mothers look absolutely stunning. The owner Roxy was so easy to work with and made the planning process go very smoothly. Their services are very fairly priced for the area and I would highly recommend checking them out!

ey parts of the big day that I’ll always remember. They made us all so comfortable, we’re open to feedback, and delivered amazing results. Nothing but positive things to say!

d not imagine any other team providing hair and make up services for Me. Roxy is so easy to work with and her communication is top-notch. Her team is extremely professional and easy to contact with any questions. They made my wedding day so much fun and made me and my girls feel at ease.

ctures back is my hair (which I had down) got really frizzy as the day went on so I wish I had slightly more anti-frizz product in my hair, and my extensions didn’t look as seamless in my hair in certain photos as I was expecting. But definitely still recommend working with MBR!

d honestly made all of us feel so comfortable. We were truly able to feel relaxed and pampered on such a special day! The whole MBR team was so attentive, organized, and kind! I would definitely recommend.

% recommend!

above and beyond to make everyone look and feel beautiful! Their talents are truly top tier! They made my morning so fun and stress free! I’ve seen their work many times over and I knew I was in good hands!❤️

was so happy with how her hair turned out. I would recommend MBR everyone!

to hair, to makeup, she is absolutely the best!!! The team made sure all of the party was happy and confident in their hair and makeup. I cannot recommend them enough!!

h a smidge of glam) and delivered, including tweaking until it was *just right*. Also, she was a wonderful, calming presence on a hectic day, and for that I was very grateful. I can't say enough good things... Roxy was just terrific and her business is run very well (great communication, website, etc.) to boot!

l know doesn’t always happen! She was able to do 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, and my make up and finish ahead of schedule which was even better! I would recommend her to anyone that wants to look like themselves, but elevated!

th the bride's hair trial ahead of time Meg was very patient with us and made her hair look gorgeous. The day of the wedding went seamless for all of us, we just enjoyed the time getting all dolled up, and the staff Roxy, Jennifer, Meg and Kristina were very friendly and nice, are very knowledgeable and made us all feel beautiful. I would choose them again for any of our events.

process as smooth as butter. Their work is impeccable and their artists are so kind, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. I would choose them again and again for my big day events. 💋❤️ GO WITH MAKEUP BY ROXY. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

transformed me into the bride I had always dreamed of being. From our very first consultation, Makeup by Roxy exuded professionalism and warmth. She took the time to understand my vision and preferences, offering insightful suggestions that perfectly complemented my bridal look. On the big day, Meg and Erin arrived punctually and immediately began working her magic. Their calm demeanor and reassuring presence helped ease my nerves, making the entire experience not only flawless but enjoyable. Beyond her technical abilities, Makeup by Roxy's passion for her craft shines through in every detail. She genuinely cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to ensure they feel confident and beautiful on their special day. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence are truly commendable. I cannot recommend Makeup by Roxy highly enough. If you're searching for a skilled, personable, and dedicated hair and makeup artist who will exceed your expectations, look no further than Roxy. She is a true artist and an absolute joy to work with. Thank you, Makeup by Roxy, for making me feel like the most beautiful bride!

when coordinating hair and makeup! The ladies were all very professional, efficient and do an amazing job. They arrived on time and kept things moving. We even finished way ahead of schedule so we were able to add in a few extra photos that I didn't think we would have time for initially. Their work on everyone's hair and makeup was absolutely beautiful and lasted the whole day - including in some strong winds at points! Absolutely recommend this team for anyone looking for special event hair and makeup!

M ceremony. Roxy worked with me on the timing and number of services to be sure they aligned with my photographer's timeline to have us all ready. Kayte and Talia were my main artists and they were AMAZING -- highly recommend working with both of them. Talia made day of adjustments to my hairstyle based on a couple of items I wanted changed from the trial, and Kayte was super helpful in helping me find a day of lip color that I felt comfortable in and wouldn't transfer. We had 4 additional artists (Jessie, Erin, Meagan, and Lizzy) and my bridesmaids and moms were all so happy with their looks!

myself. I sent feedback to Roxy so that by the time wedding day rolled around, Jessie knew exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly. All of my bridesmaids LOVED their makeup (and my Nana loved her’s, too!) and everyone’s lasted all day. Jessie is hilarious and it always helps when your makeup artist says you look like a hot b*tch when she takes her final look. I was thrilled when I finally got to look in the mirror! MBR also did my bridesmaids’ hairstyles and they all looked stunning…each one was so different from the other and help up all day. I would choose MBR for hair and makeup over and over again!

m Bakery & Events, and Jess C. exceeded my expectations! She was very open to feedback and offered great suggestions. My make-up stayed perfect all day and evening. My mom, sister and nieces were also very pleased. Thanks Jess!

e on the day of. What was really frustrating was that once I paid the invoice I didn't hear back. No one reached out to confirm any of the day of details with me. I sent a number of emails trying to confirm details leading up to our wedding with no response. I didn't even know what time they were planning to show up. I used email for most of my communication because that's where I was asked to keep all of the info in one place. When I called the salon to try to talk to someone to work it out, the automated message directs you to text them because they only use text and email. When I texted the number I was told that my emails were being filtered and I would have to wait until someone was available to confirm the details of my wedding. When I tried to set up a phone call to discuss the details since it was less than a week before my event, I stopped being answered. Finally I was texted by the coordinator and turns out some details got messed up that we had to work with the venue to try to accommodate. I really wish someone had reached out to confirm details ahead of time instead me having to track them down and dealing with the extra stress days before the wedding that could have been avoided. They weren't even apologetic. If I wasn't already locked into my contract I might have tried to cancel the services altogether. Even the details that we did get confirmed ahead of time didn't pan out, like we had requested the use of an airbrush and found out that morning while getting ready that it was unavailable. While the end product of the hair and makeup did turn out well for the most part, the artists didn't seem to want to be there. It was awkward and disappointing, especially considering the professional reviews and the travel fees I paid for them to come to our location. I ended up giving full gratuity because it didn't seem like the artists were involved in the coordination details and I didn't want to hold it against them. Maybe this doesn't happen often and I just seemed to have a less than great experience, but it was truly frustrating and added unnecessary stress to myself and others.

y herself had 10/10 communication for every step. As for the team, not only was everyone excellent at hair and makeup, but each artist was also super fun and made my wedding day better by adding to the positive atmosphere. Erin had me laughing the whole time I was getting my makeup done, and Liz made my hair look beautiful. I even changed things between my trial and official day, and they both made the exact changes I wanted to take my trial to the perfect wedding day look. All the girls loved how things came out and looked stunning. I could not recommend MBR enough!

ed any touch ups from even being outside taking photos with the wedding at night. BOOK THEM! It is worth the investment 🤍🎉

it only made sense to have them for my wedding! I wish you could rate higher than 5 stars because these women deserve it!!

s AMAZING! My brows and spray tan looked perfect. I knew I was going to love my hair and makeup after my trial, but somehow on the day of my wedding it still looked even better than I could have imagined. It was exactly what I wanted and it looked flawless all day- even though we had an outdoor wedding in August and it was pretty humid. They were very organized and made sure that we were ready with time to spare and the entire morning was calm and relaxed. Everyone loved how their hair and makeup turned out. It was evident that they take a lot of pride in what they do. The communication leading up to the big day was great also, I knew exactly what to expect. If you want to look amazing for your wedding, the team at Makeup by Roxy has got you covered.

ia and Kayte, and I was so thankful they were there for my and bridesmaids the day of as well. They came to my venue and did such a great job. They did exactly what myself and my bridesmaids wanted and it lasted all night long! I could not be more thankful for this team!

Jessie and our hair done with Lizzy. To say they are both amazing at what they do, is an understatement. They took every one of our ideas and literally transformed them. We looked stunning. They were so fun to chat with while we were getting ready and made everything so relaxed. If you're looking for someone to do your hair and makeup, seriously look no farther!

ey matched our style requests seamlessly, and the ladies were quick, efficient, organized, and pleasant. I highly recommend MBR for our next event and/or wedding!

Also had a little moment when I was feeling sick/ anxious and Megan was super calming for me .
