months before our wedding when I was looking for someone close to our photo shoot location. I don't wear a ton of makeup on a daily basis and prefer a more natural look and when I was looking for a makeup artist I wanted to make sure that I wasn't so done up that I did not look like myself. Her style was exactly what I was looking for - I would describe it as glowy, flawless makeup that comes off as looking natural while at the same time making you look like the best version of yourself - with that extra special something you want for a big event/photos. She is also just super sweet person and a very calming person to be around- we connected instantly when we realized we both went to Berkeley and studied similar majors. When it came time to book the makeup artist for our wedding I was so pleased that she was available - my original plan was to book someone a bit closer to our venue but I liked her and her makeup so much that it didn't make sense to choose anyone else, and she did a beautiful job with the makeup for me and my bridal party on the wedding day! I would highly recommend her!

After explaining this to Samantha and meeting her in person for my makeup trial, I was sold! She has this incredible calming effect (which is so important for a bride on their wedding day). She worked well with my wedding team (hair, event planners, etc.) and was super flexible throughout the hectic wedding day. I also had a very particular wedding party, who all wanted very distinct things with their makeup. Samantha made everyone look so beautiful and natural. Based on the work shown on her page and the great reviews online, I reached out and was immediately comforted by her sweet words and kind vibe! I knew I made the right decision when I did a trial a few months before my wedding and felt so happy with the perfect natural look Sam gave me based on my inspiration photos. She gave me and my group the same happy feeling on my wedding day and also provided us with such a lovely sense of peace from her calm, friendly, and supportive attitude.
