Makeup by Sarah Alicea is a wedding makeup service located in Salem, NH.
Since I can remember as a young girl I use to steal my mother's eyeliner ends, I would bring them to school and store them in my locker to use with my peace love, and happiness mirror! From there I moved on to managing a Forever 21 at the age of 18 and I would take my checks, cash them and go straight to MAC to get the latest. I would sit on break outback and did makeup on sales associates! This is just a little insight into the passion I carry for makeup artistry. I absolutely love making you feel beautiful on the most special day of your life and with a decade of experience, I am sure to deliver you the look you desire most.
In 2008 I began working at Bare Escentuals, where I was introduced to working in retail makeup. I then made my wedding scene debut in 2010 and in 2012 I started my own business. Since then, I have been able to broaden my professional makeup experience and now have 10+ years of experience.
I continuously keep up with the latest makeup trends and am always on the lookout for the best products for my specific clients. I continue to educate myself and take classes to grow my knowledge and technique in makeup. I strive to deliver what my client wants no matter what is asked of me.

e I'm not well versed in makeup to communicate what I want, and sometimes people really cake on the product. But not Sarah. She took critiques well during the trial and the end result on the big day was so so so perfect, everything I could have dreamed of. And she doubled as my therapist when I had the wedding-day nerves! My makeup not only lasted the whole 5 hour wake but the lashes were still perfect for the funeral the next day. I have also used her for events, my bridal shower, my wedding and multiple friends weddings. It was 2 weeks of leaving voicemails/texts/emails that I finally got a response saying that she was not sure if she was still available for my wedding date! This was after accepting my deposit 4 months prior! She sent me this message weeks before my wedding! If I had not asked her for a trial I would have been sitting at the hotel waiting for her to show because she only told me this after weeks of trying to get a hold of her with no response! I was left trying to find another makeup artist weeks before my wedding! Meanwhile, she is posting other trials on her social media! Not sure why she had time for them and not me after receiving my deposit. She caused me unnecessary stress weeks before my wedding and I would have never known that she was not going to make it had I not reached out to her first. If you want someone who is reliable for your big day then DO NOT book with her. She completely blew me off and I don’t understand how anyone can do this to someone for something so important as their wedding. Thankfully I found an amazing artist at Haus of beauty.
