Makeup by Sarah Lord

my vision while also bringing her incredible talent to the table. I loved how my makeup turned out-it was everything I hoped for and made me feel like a princess all day long. My bridesmaids couldn’t stop raving about their makeup either! Everyone felt so beautiful and confident. Beyond her amazing skills, Sarah brought such fun, calming, and positive energy to my wedding morning. It set the tone for the entire day and is something I’ll always cherish. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better glam team. If you’re thinking about hiring Sarah- do it!!

o my vision and made thoughtful suggestions to ensure we nailed the look. She’s an incredible listener, flexible with changes, and so committed to making you feel confident. On my wedding day, Sarah’s calming energy was exactly what I needed—getting my makeup done with her felt like hanging out with an old friend. I felt beautiful, natural, and completely myself, and my makeup lasted flawlessly through August heat and plenty of happy tears without ever feeling heavy or cakey. My bridesmaids were just as obsessed with her as I was, and we’re all still talking about how amazing she was. Sarah made me feel radiant on the most important day of my life, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

tly that. I have fair skin with freckles and she was able to cover my redness while still letting my freckles shine through. I highly recommend Sarah and I hope I’m able to get my makeup done by her for another event.

my makeup. HIGHLY recommend her!

t we met, Sarah’s professionalism and attention to detail were evident. She took the time to understand the look I was going for and brought it to life in the most flawless way. Sarah did an incredible job with the makeup for not only me but also my bridesmaids, mother, and the rest of the wedding party. Everyone looked stunning, and the makeup stayed perfect all day long. What truly stood out was Sarah's punctuality and her calm, friendly demeanor. She was on time and made sure everything went smoothly without feeling rushed. She was a true professional, and I felt completely at ease in her hands. If you're looking for a makeup artist who is talented, detail-oriented, and truly cares about making you feel your best on your wedding day, I highly recommend Sarah Lord. Thank you again for making our day even more special!

looks, especially my mom who typically hates getting her makeup done so that was really important to me! I also love that Sarah and Callie (hair) have worked together for so long - it made the trial and day-of getting ready experience relaxed and fun. I highly recommend Sarah!

she was easy to talk to, which made the experience so enjoyable. I left my trial feeling like we were best friends after gabbing for an hour about Bravo shows (I have a feeling most of her clients feel this way after working with her!). On my wedding day she listened to what I wanted and made changes along the way. I can’t recommend a better make up artist for your big day. She will make you look and feel your absolute best!

ear heavy makeup and wanted to look like myself, but Sarah listened to all my requests and made me feel beautiful. Highly recommend!

b capturing my vision, providing me with two distinct and beautiful looks that perfectly suited each occasion. As someone who prefers a natural look, I was thrilled with how Sarah accentuated my features while ensuring I still felt like myself. Additionally, on my wedding day, Sarah and Kate were a calming presence amidst a hectic getting ready morning, jumping to the rescue. I highly recommend hiring Sarah and her team – they are incredibly talented and a joy to work with!

party & myself & I was thrilled with the results

I looked like me (but better!!!). She gave me all kinds of tips and tricks on how to prep for the wedding, and was adored by my entire wedding party and family. Sarah has a warm, calming presence. She made all of my girlfriends feel listened to, cared for, and beautiful. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a fabulous makeup artist (and all around great person!).

skin and one of my cousins has eczema and Sarah knew exactly what to do to make our skin look flawless. All of us were looking at each other just saying how amazing each other's makeup looked. Sarah's specialty is natural makeup which was perfect for someone like me who wanted a full glam but doesn't wear a lot of products to begin with. Sarah and Kate were so talented, fun and above all else they were kind. My niece was my flower girl and was mesmerized watching all of us get ready, I hadn't planned any hair or makeup for her but Sarah and Kate took no time calling her over to the chair and telling her it was her turn and they saved the special flower girl for last. She was SO excited (we literally caught her admiring herself in any mirror she passed the whole night". I loved working with this team and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making us all feel so beautiful

mmend Sarah enough. Very professional and dependable!

completely understood this and she made me feel so beautiful while looking like myself. On the wedding day, she was so calm, and kind and everyone loved her. All of my girls (bridesmaids, MOB & MOG) felt so beautiful the day of and cannot stop looking at our pictures.

use of Sarah! Sarah is easy to work with, a visonary, and so talented. As someone who doesn't know much about makeup Sarah made me feel comfortable being able to say "just do what you think would look best" and she ran with it! She is timely, professional and so easy to chat with and keeps you nice and calm on your wedding day. AND the best part - my make up stayed ALL NIGHT. I didn't leave the dance floor once and my glam at the end of the night looked prestine. I cannot thank Sarah enough for everything she does for her brides, and I am trying to find an excuse to book her again!

They were professional and so fun to hang out with in the bridal suite. They were also quick and effective communicators during the planning process. I cannot recommend them enough!

schedule! Everyone was really happy with how their hair and make up turned out and felt beautiful the whole night. We really enjoyed sharing our morning with them and their team :) Highly recommend!

rally make the best team and I couldn't recommend them any more! The Best! Thank you Sarah!!

h how their hair and makeup turned out. They were super organized and finished everyone's makeup and hair a head of schedule. They made everyone feel so comfortable and were extremely flexible. I highly recommend Sarah and Callie

ms and did a little bit of glitter for our flower girl. We started around 9am and we were finished in record time. All of the ladies looked absolutely beautiful and Sarah was receptive and open to explanation throughout the entire process, even for those who typically don't wear makeup. I highly suggest her services--and she is willing to recommend other beauty services to help you look absolutely fabulous for your day.

erience with Asian facial features in her portfolio and she nailed it. She was also able to accommodate my mom who was a last minute add on and everyone was finished early! And finally, and most importantly, my makeup held up beautifully throughout the entire day though happy tears and lots of dancing sweat.

My bridal party also looked fabulous and we all received compliments on our hair and makeup. Thank you!

, she took into consideration my concern about darker lip colors and heavy lashes, and suggested a lip color and lash size that were perfect for me! Day-of, she and her team made me and my bridal party look like movie stars! They worked quickly and got us all done ahead of schedule. I am so appreciate that she was part of the glam squad for my wedding!

ooks.

tion” was to ask to use our own makeup. She then left the venue to go to a local store to purchase makeup to use. The application felt rushed and she left everyone’s face incomplete without any lipstick/gloss. We were all trying to keep a straight face on so as not to overwhelm the bride any more than she already was. The amount of added stress this caused on an already nerve-racking day for the bride was disheartening. When the bride reached out to inquire about a discount that was loosely discussed at the time of service, Sarah came back with no apologies, no discounts and even called the day “a win.” This level of unprofessionalism is a shock and hopefully helps future brides when considering Sarah Lord.

natural beauty which what I was looking for in a makeup artist! Sarah took my ideas and went with them and did such an amazing job. I absolutely LOVED my bridal makeup. My bridesmaids were SO happy with their makeup & so were the moms! Also, we danced the WHOLE night & our makeup stayed put! Sarah is incredibly talented and has over 10+ years of experience, it's a no brainer-- you need her :) Thank you again, Sarah!

eek of the wedding, but it actually ended up being perfect. I was able to wear my makeup for the day and have ideas fresh in my mind for the wedding - Sarah was super open to changing up my wedding makeup after the trial and executed my vision perfectly. I felt so beautiful and special while still looking like myself. She was also so fast without compromising the quality of her work. The entire bridal party was done getting ready well before the photographer even arrived, so we were able to just relax and spend time together without being rushed!

ress free. We did a trial about two months before the day which gave us the opportunity to get to know each other and work on my day of look which we recreated the day of and it looked perfect! She also did my mom and bridesmaids make up which all turned out so beautiful. She's worth every penny - I can't recommend her enough!

go smoothly and stress free. My bridesmaids felt and looked gorgeous, and more importantly Sarah was able to keep everyone looking so natural and not like they had layers of makeup on. Her team was great, and we had such a fun morning with all the girls getting ready for the big day.

Sarah was easy to work with, accommodating to my bridal party, and is an incredibly talented make-up artist. Each of my bridesmaids were at ease in the getting ready process and in love with their make-up. It makes a world of a difference when each gal LOVES how they look and feel. The pictures of the bridal party that we received back are proof of that, as everyone was glowing. We also did not need many touch-ups after a long day of photos as the make-up held perfectly. Make your wedding day make-up easy and beautiful by choosing Sarah! I would highly recommend her to all future brides!

y. They also were more than happy to give us last checks on our hair and makeup before we left the studio. They were super accommodating with the last minute schedule change as well. Overall, amazing work (I was called a princess by our little guests - it was THAT good and I had the confidence to be in every darn picture) and skilled pair. Would hire them again for sure.

o beautiful! She did an amazing job on myself, my mom and my friends! So grateful to have had her and Callie for my wedding!

ssional, and friendly! My bridesmaids were looking for a more natural look (“them” but more polished/refined), and Sarah made every single one look gorgeous on the day of the wedding and her work photographed so well! Not to mention lasted all through the night of dancing! Thanks Sarah!! Can’t recommend Sarah enough!

pictures of what I was thinking, taking into account my skin color and overall dream of the day. She knows so much about planning a wedding and how to support the bridal party during the process that she made the experience unforgettable. Thank you Sarah for everything!

air stylist, and together they are the dream team! Highly recommend Sarah for her stunning work and making me and my wedding party look gorgeous!

s before my wedding so that I didn't have to deal with it in the months right before my wedding. On my wedding day, they were on time, professional and a calming presence. I don't wear a lot of makeup normally so I wanted something natural, but fitting for my wedding day and Sarah did exactly that.

ifficulties trusting her. I wanted a natural look and nothing over the top…wanting to look like myself on my wedding day of course and she delivered just that! Sarah arrived at my hotel room on time and jumped right in, she is very easy to talk to and it felt like she was a part of the group :) I heard so many compliments that night on how great everyone in the bridal party looked. I’m so happy that Sarah was able to do the makeup for my wedding day; she put me at ease, listened to everyone’s requests, and made me feel beautiful…what more can you ask for?!?

my wedding. I sent the saddest, most pathetic-sounding email ever, and Sarah reached out to me almost immediately with the best response, "I got you." And she was 100000% right. We talked on the phone that same day and she made me feel so much better about the situation. It meant so much to me that she basically could have just scribbled across my face with eyeliner the day of the wedding and I still would have absolutely loved her. Fortunately, she is also the best make-up artist that I have ever worked with. I went in for my trial with Sarah and her partner, Callie, who is an equally amazing and talented hair stylist. They knocked my socks off. The day of my wedding was the same thing. These girls were so much fun to be with that I just felt like I was hanging out with some friends who also happened to be doing my hair and makeup. They were also ridiculously efficient - my bridesmaids and the moms looked amazing and we never had to worry about a time crunch. I have never felt more beautiful than I did that day while also still looking like myself and not a Kardashian. Sarah and Callie are so incredible, and I am so, so, so lucky to have found them. Thank you, ladies!!!

they do but also just a pleasure to hang out with! My trial was great and when i wanted to change my makeup a bit from the trial to the wedding day she adjusted to exactly what i wanted. She made suggestions but wasn't pushy and knew what would look best on my skin and in photographs, while still staying true to my style. The best compliment I got that day was "your makeup looks amazing and you look like YOU." I never once was worried about my makeup the entire wedding day and it didn't feel heavy or overdone. She also recommended a lip color so that I could buy it before the wedding and hold on to it all day for touch-ups - and now i use it all the time! She also spends a lot of time learning about new types of makeup and skincare and is generally a reliable source for whatever you need in that department. I wanted a low-drama setting to get ready with all of my friends and Sarah and Callie fit right in and worked quickly but we never felt the least bit rushed. She also traveled to Cape Cod for us and was always punctual and responsive on email. Get her if you can!!
