If you’re like me and your knowledge of makeup and how to describe what you want is minimal, Tatum is your fairy makeup artist. I was unsure of how to go about describing the look I wanted for my wedding and had Pinterest pictures as well as pictures of myself from other weddings to go off of. I ended up doing two trials and with each one I learned more about what I wanted and how to help my skin before the big day. Tatum was incredibly helpful and talented and my entire bridal party looked ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. She laughed with us and was so professional and personable. She even made sure each of us had touch up materials that we could use throughout the day. Bonus: She even gives makeup lessons!

Tatum did my makeup for my wedding and I couldn't have picked anyone better! She brought my dream wedding look to life! She was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I do not have my makeup done a lot and she was super helpful throughout the whole process! She is super sweet and was fun to be around the morning of my big day. She was super calm and professional and she did an AMAZING job! I got sooo many compliments on her makeup!

I had the pleasure of working with Tatum directly. She was so kind and friendly with my bridesmaids and mom. She helped pick flattering colors for everyone and the touchup kits were so helpful. I was hesitant about trying fake eyelashes because I had never before, but she explained different options to me and then did them so well that I didn't notice at all! I really wanted to look like myself but slightly elevated, and Tatum delivered with a beautiful design. Overall, she was a sweet, friendly, professional presence on my wedding day. 10/10!

Tatum and her team are amazing to work with! I got my bridal makeup done with Tatum and she was professional, kind, efficient, and made me feel super relaxed all day. Her ability to individualize each girls makeup to blend perfectly with their skin tones and skin type is amazing. My bridesmaids got their makeup done with Alyssa and Tatum and they loved it!

Tatum made my bridal dreams come true! She listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions along the way. My makeup was perfect and didn't even budge through almost 90-degree weather the day of my wedding. All of my bridesmaids absolutely loved their makeup as well. She is truly an amazing makeup artist that provided professional skills that even catered to my variety of bridesmaids skin type, tone, and requests.

Erin was our MUA for my wedding and I could not recommend enough. From the trial Erin listened to my “concerns” and worked with me to provide something I was comfortable with. Erin sought feedback and again was so collaborative when making adjustments to my wedding day makeup. Erin provided expertise in encouraging me to step a little out of my comfort zone- which I am so happy I did! She was friendly, prompt and fun to be around while getting ready. Could not recommend Erin enough!

Tatum and Alyssa were fantastic to work with - very responsive and appointment flexibility. Alyssa listened to the request for natural makeup and it turned out beautifully! Hair looked lovely in braids. Would recommend Alyssa!

Surprises are for Birthdays, NOT Make-up and Hair for the Wedding Day Paid 60% of the wedding day fee for a trial run of hair and make-up. As the FOB, so glad we avoided a wedding day meltdown. The trial runs should make you feel special and build anticipation for the big day. Instead, little to no information (skin type, unique hair needs, etc.) that was shared when booking was known by the stylist (not Tatum). The stylist did not even bring the necessary supplies and tools to do the job correctly. The result…simply going out to dinner, much less seeing all the guests for pictures, would not have been special and would have been highly emotional. STRONGLY recommend brides and moms do a test BEFORE making a deposit (“Try before you buy.”). Between the deposit (not returned) and the trial fee, we are ~110% of what was budgeted. Really frustrated that the recommendations and reviews on The Knot did not pan out on this vendor. We now have a better plan.

We were so disappointed with our makeup trial that we canceled the contract for the wedding. The stylist had one curling iron and one technique for hair. The makeup application was very brown and orange. Brides ‘ hair fell before we left the parking lot. Mom looked like she had prom hair.

Tatum was the easiest vendor for me to book for my big day. She was professional, fun, and an absolute master of her craft. Throughout my entire planning experience she made everything so simple and easy. Each and every one of my bridesmaids looked FLAWLESS and what she can do for you on your wedding day is out of this world. If you want to look and feel like an actual princess on your wedding day, don't hesitate and book with Tatum!!!

Tatum has done my makeup a few times, and every time I’m left looking absolutely stunning. I don’t even feel like myself, I’m just so amazed! Go to get for ALL of your makeup needs!!

Tatum did my makeup for my engagement photoshoot, as well as mine and my bridal parties makeup for my wedding. She also had Torrie assist with the bridal party. Both times she did my makeup, I looked absolutely flawless and like myself, but way better! The makeup also photographed amazingly! She listed and asked questions along the way to ensure she was meeting my expectation and vision. As a person, she is so nice and kind, and I felt so comfortable working with her. I would hands down recommend booking Tatum or her other artists for your next event - you will adore her!

Tatum is far and away the best in the biz! After having Tatum do my makeup as a bridesmaid for other friends weddings, I knew I had to have her for my wedding as well. She is so talented, professional, personable, and kind. It was really important to me that my wedding makeup felt very “me” — essentially my everyday makeup but elevated. Tatum was so detailed and patient in making sure we achieved just that, and I was SO happy with how everything turned out both at my trial and on my wedding day. I felt so beautiful! On top of beautiful work, she’s so quick to answer emails and questions. We also booked Julie as a second artist on the day of the wedding, who is equally as talented and kind. My grandma had her makeup done for the first time ever and was nearly in tears with how beautiful Julie made her feel. Overall, you’re in the best hands when you book Tatum for your wedding (and every other occasion!) makeup.

Tatum was an absolute joy to work with, and did such great work for me and my bridesmaids! I opted to do the trial and lined the appointment up with our engagement photos which made the photos turn out amazing. This was a great idea because she kept all the notes from the trial so the day of the wedding I had no stress or surprises whatsoever! I could just enjoy the process.

My whole bridal party and myself absolutely loved working with Tatum! Not only does she beautiful make up, she also is a joy to talk with during the wedding morning preparations! She ensures at each step of the way that the make up is what you are like, and I enjoy her philosophy that adding make up is an enhanced version of you, and should still feel like yourself. As someone who doesn't wear make up on a regular basis, she made me feel comfortable and love the make up that she did! My bridesmaids also said that they would love to have make up done by Tatum again!

I had 41 days to plan a backyard wedding and had no idea if I'd be able to find a good makeup artist on such short notice. I can't believe how lucky I got with Tatum. She was referred to me by another talented makeup artist I know and not only did she create the perfect look to go with my dress and hair, but she was also so friendly and fun-- exactly the kind of vibes I needed on my wedding day. Tatum was meticulous about getting every little makeup detail just right-- when I couldn't decide between two lipstick shades she just mixed them together and it was perfect! And she will give you a small sample to take with you for touch-ups. She even asked me to pull up my photographer's Instagram page so she could curate my makeup to compliment the photographer's lighting style. I never would have thought of that! Hiring Tatum meant that I never had to stress about how I would look on my wedding day. She is responsive, prompt, totally professional, and unbelievably talented at what she does. Torrie was the BEST makeup artist I could have asked for! She is SOO talented and so sweet and easy to work with. She did my bridal makeup and several of my bridesmaids and everyones look turned out BEAUTIFUL! I got lots of compliments and it was my favorite look. If you are in need of a makeup artist Torrie is your girl! I would choose her every time! My makeup lasted all day and night too :)

I hit the jackpot with Tatum. Tatum was amazing at doing the make up for my wedding. Bride, MOB and 4 bridesmaids. She asked for one thing, someone be in her seat when her contracted time starts. From there, she did her thing, amazing make up with lashes extra lipstick for touch ups through the wedding night. Very personable, we all loved her skill and personality. She was fun and professional. Contract was thorough. Price was right. Contact was on point even when I had a overwhelmed bride moment. One of my worries, in general, about makeup is matching my skin tone, bridesmaids worried about the same thing. With Tatum and her skills, the makeup was blended and natural from fair skin tone to deep skin tone and that is hard to find. If I ever need my makeup done again Tatum will be getting a call and I already recommend her to friends. You won’t be disappointed.

Working with Tatum and Julie was a dream! I was in the unfortunate situation that my original makeup artist bailed on me 6 weeks before my wedding - I was frantic as you can imagine - and I reached out to Tatum who's work I admired on Instagram and by pure luck she had an artist that was available. Julie came to my house for a trial that week and she was so great I booked her on the spot. We texted later that week about what I liked/disliked and made a plan for the day of. She even taught me a couple of makeup pointers :) The day of the wedding, Julie came to my house where we were getting ready - was on-time, professional, patient and just so fun to be around. She made my mom and I feel so beautiful! Our makeup lasted all day (through the happy tears!) and never felt heavy. Looking at pictures, I am even more pleased, because it looks natural and most importantly, I look like myself. Tatum was wonderful through the entire booking process - super responsive and helpful. Book these ladies!!!

Tatum was the MUA for my wedding and was absolutely amazing to work with! Tatum was organized, extremely clean, and able to do on-site makeup for seven bridal party members. She listened to individual requests from each person while still creating a cohesive overall look. Everyone loved their makeup and raved about Tatum all night! By the end of the night (and after 18 hours of wedding activities), my makeup still looked perfect! I would definitely recommend Tatum to anyone looking to have their makeup professionally done!

Everything about Tatum was fantastic, from the moment I reached out to her through our final touch-ups. Throughout the planning process, she was responsive and thorough in all communication. She made me feel comfortable during my trial and had extreme attention to detail during that time, asking all the right questions and consulting me through what she thought looked best. On the big day, she arrived right on time and was able to complete the bride, 6 bridesmaids, and the mothers of the bride and groom on her own, ahead of schedule, leaving every single woman looking absolutely stunning. All of my bridesmaids raved about her and she had a cool, calm way about her to make everyone feel at ease, especially the bride and the mother of the bride. My favorite thing about her is she does an amazing job of making you look gorgeous, but still natural. I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and I definitely thank Tatum for that! I would recommend her to anyone!

Makeup by Tatum did a fantastic job!! I used Julie for my wedding and she was so professional and wonderful to work with, and her work was beautiful! She did the makeup for six of us on my wedding day and even finished ahead of schedule. Everyone looked gorgeous and natural. During the trial, Julie was very patient with me and let me try about 5 different lip colors until I found the one I loved. I would highly recommend Julie and Makeup by Tatum!

Tatum was amazing! I have to admit I was a little nervous at first seeing how I never had my makeup done professionally as well as me being of mixed race! However, she worked with me 100% to help achieve the look that I wanted! She made sure that my makeup was as natural as possible. Tatum did my makeup for my wedding back in April and I couldn't be happier with how it came out! I had a very diverse bridal party, so looking for a makeup artist was a little bit of a challenge. When I saw Tatum’s website and collection of work, I know she would be able to handle our group. Not only did she have the right shades for all our skin tones but we all still looked beautiful at the end of the night! I only had to do one lipstick touch up and one oil sheet pat down. Our makeup stayed on through eating, dancing, pictures and happy tears. She made us all feel beautiful while still looking like ourselves. Absolutely amazing!

Tatum did an amazing job at our wedding in September! She was so responsive and knowledgable. I showed her a few pictures of wedding makeup that I liked and she was able to replicate while still flattering my pale skin tone. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day because of Tatum. Tatum and Alyssa were amazing on my wedding day. Tatum is organized and helpful when we reviewed the timeline for the wedding in order to keep everything on time. She even traveled to Dayton for my wedding though she is based in Columbus. Both her and Alyssa are well versed in the appropriate makeup shades for African American skin tones. Also, I have super sensitive skin and we were able to test what wouldn't break me out. They were both so patient with my neuroses. They also used any make-up that I already liked from MAC and my new favorite Fenty Beauty foundation. We LOVE LOVE LOVE Tatum and Alyssa.

I had known Tatum before previously as my manager and when I noticed she had moved onto doing makeup I started to follow her work. As soon as I got engaged last October I knew I had to make sure she was available for my wedding. I was on top of getting her right away and she was able to book my wedding. Tatum was great! I loved how beautiful I looked on my wedding day. The trial went great and she was very accommodating with my last minute changes on the day of, she was also very prompt and professional. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, she did an amazing job!

I've never had my makeup done professionally before but on the day of my wedding I really didn't want to stress about my own makeup. So I looked at different reviews and I chose Tatum. I was sooo nervous because I thought since I'm paying for my make she might cake a lot on. I found pictures of what I wanted and emailed them to her before hand. When she showed up the day of my wedding we hadn't done a trial yet but she knew exactly what I wanted and she did absolutely amazing. I wish I could afford to pay her to do my makeup every morning! I'm telling you, go with Tatum! Even my photographer said it was the best professional makeup she's ever seen on one of her brides.

Tatum did an amazing job!! We had a wide variety of skin colors in the bridal party and we were all absolutely amazed at how well she matched everyone's foundation color. All of the bridesmaids were receiving compliments all night and my make-up stayed flawless for hours. Tatum had a large selection of products and was very clean and well organized. I don't think I will ever have anyone else do my make-up for special events!!

Tatum was an amazing woman to have around on my wedding day. Her pricing was up front/clear and the trial run went very well. She was prompt and professional the day of, and was even able to fit in an extra bridesmaid without skipping a beat. My makeup was impeccable for more than 12 hours and even at the end of the night I never had that feeling of wanting to scrub my face off -- something that occasionally happens to me with my sensitive skin. Tatum did my makeup for my April 1st wedding and I couldn't be happier! I had a one on one consultation with her 2 months before my wedding where she did a full trial run. She noted all of the products she used in my trial and took photographs to make sure things ran smoothly on the big day. "WOW, the best ever!" (the five star rating) can't describe Tatum's work any better! I booked Tatum for my wedding day. As a bride, there's a million things that run through your head the day of your wedding. You wonder what may go wrong, and just PRAY that everything goes right and falls into place. My makeup was one of the things I couldn't have been more pleased with. I personally love the 'natural' look and Tatum was sure to abide to my wishes and complete that for me. She made me feel as beautiful as I ever have. She also did my bridal party's makeup, and everyone was so happy. Selfies were on a record high that day! :) In addition, she did my mother's makeup.... my mom looked as beautiful as ever and also couldn't have been more pleased with her makeup! So, Tatum, I thank you... for helping to make my wedding day perfect and being so pleasurable to work with. Great service from Tatum. She met us at the wedding venue and did a great job with the makeup for me, my daughter the bride and bridesmaids. Tatum is seriously one in a million! I went through 3 makeup artists before I found her! Her prices literally cannot be beat and she was the most prepared out of all the artists. She wrote down all the products we used in my trial run, organized it in a little box and had it with her the day of the wedding. She also was the only artist that could put eyelashes on me and not glue my eye lids shut, or make them feel heavy the whole day. Her talent is exceptional and I will be suggesting her to anyone while also using her for any other special occasion I'll have in my future. Also, let me not forget she's FREAKING gorgeous herself and has a heart of gold! Very easy to talk to and never made me feel awkward or needy when I had specific makeup requests.

Tatum is amazing!!! A couple of days before my friends wedding my face broke out really bad and I was so worried that I would look terrible in her wedding pics but Tatum did amazing!
