Shannan was the stylist for my bridal hair and my bridesmaids. We cannot say enough great things about her and this company! She did an amazing job, and I can honestly say there was not one girl's hair that we weren't obsessed with! The company was very fast in responding to my many, many emails and I couldn't be more grateful to have chosen this team to work with. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of hair or makeup services for their big day!

LOVED working with these ladies for my daughter's wedding! They took ALL the worrying away about how to do everyone's hair and makeup! These girls are all professional, patient, and extremely talented! They will work with each person individually and help all the girls achieve exactly what makes each person comfortable. All the girls felt beautiful and comfortable! Makeup lasted ALL day and still looked great 8 hours later! They have a great, professional team!

I could not have asked for a better experience than the one I had with MFYD! Jennifer House is talented beyond words. I felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day, in large part because of her! She did both my hair and makeup. AMAZING! Jennifer came to my home and provided me air brushed make up and an up do for my son's wedding. She wanted to make sure it felt the style that was me and looked natural. So nice and professional. Would recommend her highly and would use her again in a minute. Compliments galore

As someone who never gets all dolled up, I was thrilled to be getting professional hair and makeup done for my wedding (for me, the mothers, and bridesmaids). I went for a trial and loved the hair, but the makeup was a little heavy for me. However, I let them know when I got home and they made a note of it for me. When I went for my bridal portraits, my hair and makeup turned out PERFECTLY and then my wedding it was PERFECT for everyone in the bridal party! These ladies truly care about your big day and did an amazing job making sure I was happy, the schedule for everyone was clear, and that I was happy! Use them if you are in North Carolina! Highly recommended.

The ladies at Makeup For Your Day redefine excellent customer service. They are also very knowledgeable, flexible and professional. On your wedding day you want to relax and enjoy the day, not be worried about how your hair or makeup will turn out. I had a trial run with another vendor. When I looked at the pictures I didn't feel pretty or happy. Fortunately, Jennifer B. was able to spend time with me on a trial run understanding what my goals were and educating me about the choices along the way. The result was that I felt exactly as every bride should feel about my hair and makeup. It was flawless! Imagine scheduling a holiday weekend wedding. Jen H. was so helpful with scheduling everything. I felt completely taken care of throughout the whole process. Thank you so much ladies!!

I had a wonderful experience with Makeup For Your Day! Megan did an amazing job with all of my girls and myself! I could not have been happier with the quality of service or the products that were used. She was super sweet and did everything I wanted her to. Jennifer was also amazing to work with during the months leading to the big day. She was incredibly helpful and make the whole process super easy for me, which was great since I was out of state. I used Makeup for Your Day on my wedding, 5/24/2014. I worked with Jennifer specifically, and she was amazing to work with. She answered all my e-mails and questions right away, making the planning process stress-free. She also sent me a schedule of when each member of the wedding party would get hair and/or make-up done prior to the date of the wedding. I was able to simply forward this over to the girls, which made the getting ready process so simple and easy! I was in 2 previous weddings, and for both of them hair and make-up ran late and had to be rushed, so I was worried this would happen during my day too. Thanks to the schedule, and organized manner in which Jennifer and her teammate did make-up, we ran completely on time. In addition, my hair and make-up came out better than I could have ever imagined! I looked and felt absolutely beautiful. I usually don't like getting my hair and make-up done, but Jennifer listened to exactly what I wanted, and everyone said I was "glowing" all night! My sister got married this past November, and said "I wish I had them for hair and make-up at my wedding." These girls are amazing, and would absolutely recommend them!

My experience was wonderful! I booked Jen B for my bridal portraits. I was taking my pictures about 2 hrs away from their location. I went and had my makeup done that morning and later on that night, after my bridal portraits, my makeup still looked flawless. Not to mention it was in the 80s that day and I took my pictures in a historic church with no AC. While I was there, Jennifer recommended me try the Novalash Extensions. So when I booked Makeup for Your Day for my wedding I also setup a time to come in to have the extensions applied. Jen Buenviaje was also who applied my lashes and she did such a great job! When I came in she listened to exactly what look I wanted and the result was perfect! The initial process did take about 2 hours, but it was totally worth it. And did I mention Jennifer was pregnant, placing tiny individual lashes on mine? Can you say patience?!... All to make me feel *beautiful* for my day! Thank you Jennifer! The fill-ins didn't take half as long and since I live 2 hours away I thought I could make it without one of my fill-ins so I missed one before my wedding and the week before my eyelashes were noticeably sparse in some places. So I, once again, called Jennifer and she came in early to fill in my lashes (life saver). So, I definitely recommend listening to all the girls instructions for the Novalash when it comes to fill-ins because they deal with this every day and they know what they are talking about!! And just to add I never had to wear mascara on my lashes while having these, which was wonderful because... who likes to put mascara on? I received endless compliments on how beautiful my lashes were and although I'd like to take credit for having fabulous lashes, all the credit goes to Jen! On the day of my wedding Brenna did mine, 10 bridesmaids and 2 mothers makeup. She was so patient with us and really took time with each one... She was so calm! In my pictures everyone looked flawless. Thank you so much Brenna! MYD IS A MUST!

makeup for your day was truly one of the best decisions I made as a bride! They were so talented, professional, and created the perfect look for myself and my bridal party. They even showed up at the Washington Duke Inn at 6 am to get us ready for my noon ceremony at the Duke Chapel! They are amazing at makeup and hairstyling and were so fun and easy to talk to, we all enjoyed getting ready and chatting with them. I love how they take beauty and health to the next level and really listen to what you want. Every person I met was friendly, professional, and excited to help me plan and prep for the big day. I would recommend them to everyone!

Kristin and Brenna with MFYD did an absolute fabulous job! I walked away from my trial knowing that I would look great on my wedding day, and I did not need to worry about my hair and makeup beyond their services. On the actual wedding day, the girls showed up on time and with everything they needed. They got right to work and did such fabulous makeup and hair for the 4 of us. None of us wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis, so they really did a wonderful job of not over-doing, but making us look great. The airbrush foundation I used was such a lovely touch – it really is worth the added cost! I received so many compliments of how beautiful I looked…who wouldn’t want that?! I have trouble skin, so I truly appreciated the final outcome. I need another excuse to use these ladies ASAP!

The only reason my review is not 5.0 out of 5.0 stars is because there were a few (small) times we had some snafus with billing (i.e. being invoiced when we had already paid; being invoiced for incorrect amounts, etc, etc)-- but those were easily cleared up after a few email communications back and forth. I would still, however, 100% recommend Makeup For Your Day to all the brides out there who want to ensure they will look beautiful on their wedding day. The team that worked on myself and my bridal party, Regan (hair styling) and Kerri (she was our makeup girl, but also helped work on hair), was OUTSTANDING! Not only were they friendly women to work with, you can tell from the results that they actually listened to what all of us wanted/were comfortable with. They also stayed with us long enough to do last-minute touchups and address any "will my hair fall out?" concerns. My personal makeup job was perfection-- it lasted (through the June heat and sunshine) all the way until the end of my reception. And my hair never budged the whole time. My MIL and mom also kept showering the team with compliments afterward, so major props are due to you guys. Thanks again for making me feel gorgeous :)

First I want to say that our hair and makeup looked great! Our artists did a wonderful job and I'm glad I splurged for hair/makeup for my wedding. I opted for the trial sessions for both hair/makeup and am glad I did, I would recommend doing that. Because on the day of, there really was no time for discussing what look I may have wanted. It was already all sorted out and they just followed the plan when they arrived. There were a few less than stellar moments along the way. One would be that their computer system is a bit disjointed, and just about everything is done through this. Email response times were longer than I cared for, all my other vendors were super prompt about getting back to me so maybe I was just spoiled in that regard. At least one of my emails was lost and several times I had to contact them for things I shouldn't have had to. They were the only vendor that I was stressed out about, but a week before the wedding Jennifer called to confirm everything so it was all good after that. Be sure that you know what time you want them to arrive, or discuss time arrival early on. They have a $100 charge for arriving before 8 am, which is on their site. I didn't take into account that to be ready by 9:30 am for my 11 am wedding they would need to arrive by 6:30 or 7 am (for 3 makeups and 4 hairdos). It was a $100 surprise on my part, but at the same time I didn't know to ask about timelines that early on. That said, I was 3 minutes late to my wedding. I was supposed to be done by 9:30 am but was not ready because the makeup artist, who was very nice and lovely, was talking the majority of the time. It would have been fine if she was talking and applying makeup at the same time, but she wasn't! In the end, I made it there and everything was wonderful, but it definitely didn't go according to plan.

Kate and Kristin were absolutely amazing to work with! They made my bridal party look even more gorgeous and I felt so beautiful. The "Jennifers" (the two owners are both Jennifer) were so great to work with and I can't begin to express how happy I was that we decided to use them.

The ladies at Makeupforyourday did an unbelievable job on the hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. I received comments all night long on how pretty my hair was and how great my makeup looked. Not only can they do magic, they're fun to hang out with. They are very accomodating to your needs and will work with you to achieve your desired look. I love Makeupforyourday and will be recommending them to all of my friends.

I booked makeupforyourday for myself and my 18 attendents and family members. I also ended up adding 3 cousins the day of the event. It was the best decision ever. Makeupforyourday was very organized and professional. Jennifer did a great job keeping everyone on schedule and dealing with all the surprises that came up. I would recommend them for everyone. Many people feel like makeup is not essential, but once you consider how much you are paying for photos, how many people who will be coming up to you and how long the day is, I think it is essential.

Regan and Rachelle provided the most wonderful hair and makeup and bride could ask for. I felt more beautiful then I ever have! I am so grateful for their expertise, especially after making several last minute changes. It was also such a fun and relaxing experience right before the big moment and I really enjoyed spending time with both of them!

Makeupforyourday is a little expensive (I thought), but the makeup artists are great. They don't go overboard, instead making you look "just right". They do a trial included in your package price, and the makeup they did for me and my five bridesmaids literally stayed put all night without a single touchup or smudge.

Makeup For Your Day did my hair and makeup, my bridesmaids hair and makeup, and my mom and mother-in-laws hair and makeup. We all looked incredible! They made a schedule and stuck to it so we were all ready for pictures. I brought several photos to my trial session and Jennifer did a fabulous job of styling my hair exactly how I wanted it. I have no complaints and highly recommend Makeup For Your Day!!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Parker-Buenviaje for my wedding. Jennifer listened to what I wanted and made me look beautiful for my wedding day. I searched online for someone who could come to my hotel to do my hair and makeup. I ended up choosing Makeupforyourday....Charlotte (hair) and Lisa (makeup) were prefect. I met them both for a consultation about a month before the wedding and really liked what they did. They were both prompt, professional, and fun. They did a great job on the day of the wedding. I have no complaints and can only highly recommend Makeupforday.

I was thrilled with everyone's make up on the wedding day. The artists took all the stress out of makeup for the day---we just sat down and they made us all look beautiful! I would recommend makeupforyourday to anyone. Looking back at our pictures, I couldn't be more pleased with the makeup. There is such a difference between every day makeup and professional makeup application for a wedding---and our faces reflect that. Everyone's eyes pop and our skin looks fabulous. Makeupforyourday is WONDERFUL! From the first point of contact, Jennifer has been an absolute joy to work with. We had a scheduling issue with another vendor during the weekend I flew down to meet with vendors, have trials etc. Jennifer offered to come really early on Saturday morning to make it work - we were so grateful. Jennifer took the time to listen and get to know us (and what we envisioned) and then made it happen =) I cannot say enough about how wonderful Jennifer is - she really made me (and my moms) feel so beautiful on our big day! You would be crazy NOT to hire a professional makeup artist for you big day and even crazier not to hire Makeupforyourday!

Very professional! I had my makeup and hair done by 2 employees and both were very good. Jennifer did my makeup and I looked beautiful! The woman who did my hair was very patient with me (I'm very indecisive). The first design she tried on me was not exactly what I had in mind but she was more than willing to work with me until we found the perfect up-do. I have to say, I've never looked so good! On the downside, it was a little pricey for me but I've never paid for these types of services before so maybe it was normal.

I have had my makeup done twice, Outstanding, more then pleased, that we are using them for our up coming wedding in March.

The Jennifers have created a wonderful partnership and together, they have made our hair and makeup experience stress-free. Jennifer P has a great eye for the colors to use and she uses only top quality products. She was very flexible and accommodating with her time, very willing to listen to our needs/concerns but also great with her professional advice regarding what products to use. The result: I ended up with beautiful hair and makeup on me and my girls that lasted for over 10 hours in the middle of a hot, humid NC summer! You're in great hands with this team!

Make Up For Your Day was so helpful to myself and my bridesmaids! They are a wonderful team and strive for the best. I looked absolutely beautiful, thanks to my make up artist and hair dresser. My bridesmaids definitely fit the part, too! I will definitely recommend this vendor to each and every bride that I meet! Quality of service was superb, every time that I needed something changed they would do it! They were flexible with my crazy hours! Very professional. Always early and quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. The value of their service has been well worth it! They made me look even better throughout the day with fix-ups throughout the entirety of my wedding. Even my bridal shoot, they made my day so much better! Make Up For Your Day did my hair and make up and my bridesmaids' hair. Everything was outstanding and even better than I could have imagined! She had a variety of products and her experience really showed. Definitely a must-have for your wedding!

I had my makeup and hair done for my wedding, and some of my bridesmaids had their hair done. My makeup was okay, but my eyeliner was crooked and the makeup artist claimed she couldn't see it. I also had a couple of smudges before my ceremony, and the eye-makeup started to bleed before my ceremony. Also, I was told when scheduling that I shouldn't worry about my lipstick coming off on my husband during our kiss because they had lipsticks that wouldn't smudge, but when I mentioned this to the makeup artist she laughed. I was dissatisfied with my hair, as were several of my bridesmaids. I did a better job on my hair for my rehearsal dinner than the stylist did for my actual wedding. My curls didn't hold well, even though they held fine when I did my hair myself for my rehearsal dinner. I even asked for extra hairspray to keep everything in place. The main problem for my BMs was that their hair began to "unravel" shortly after the ceremony. I definitely would NOT use this company again, especially since they are among the most expensive in the area. At their prices, they should provide higher quality services.

My daughter and I could not have been more pleased with our make-up. All bridesmaids and the mother of the groom were also extremely pleased with their make-up. I would highly recommend Makeupforyourday to friends and family!
