You can not do any better than Monic Stark so quit looking. Professional through and through but great fun to be around. Monica has a way of making the stress of a wedding day disappear. Her makeup jobs are perfectly natural and flawless. My daughter, the bride, was absolutely stunning! Your makeup last all day and into the night. She does provide everyone with a touchup kit which was great but as the MOB I did not feel the need to touch up. Monica makes everyone look fantastic! So glad we chose Monica to be part of the wedding day "team". She is truly the BEST!

Monica did my bridal make-up as well as my mother-in-law and my downsyndrome aunt which is to say that we all are very different ages with different skin tones and preferences. It was remarkable how she made each of us look the best and most glamorous versions of ourselves without over doing it. In addition to her making me beautiful, she was both professional and fun. She showed up early, moved at a good pace, was flexible when schedules moved around during our appointment and was a pleasure to have around when my strange relatives came by for a visit as well as my more stuffy friends. She kept me cool calm and relaxed. It was definitely a FIVE STAR experience.

I'm so happy to see current reviews for her. SHE REALLY IS GREAT!!!! Her makeup is flawless and beauitful. Pretty much what the reviews from 9/20 said is spot on. She is extremely professional and has great communication. I have really fair skin and I was concerned about make up that it would look to overdone. It was great. She gives you a refresher kit which all of my bridesmaids loved. My mom was concerned that she would like "a clown" and I wrote to Monica telling her my mom's concerns. Monica called me (within 24 hours of my email) to talk over the phone about the situation. She told me to not to worry. My mom's makeup was beautiful and my mom loved it. I cried when I saw her. Monica's personality (as the other reviewers said) is great for a wedding. She knows it an important day. She has a fun and bubbly personality and is what you want when you are getting ready. I really can't say enough about Monica Stark. Sheer professionalism and talent. Can't get better than her!!!

I was recently a bridesmaid in my now sister in law's wedding. Monica flew to Texas from New Mexico to do the wedding makeup. I must say that this was the best makeup I have ever had. Monica was very professional and on time for our makeup. The makeup itself was flawless and she knew exactly what colors to use that would compliment my face. The makeup stayed on all throughout the evening and lasted through the sweat. Monica provided me with a mini makeup kit for myself for touch ups which was very helpful. She was also very friendly and has the best attitude. I would highly recommend Monica for wedding makeup and for any other event where you want to look stunning!!!

Monica is wonderful. Her personality and talent truly shine through while she works. The bride flew her into Dallas for her wedding. I was a bridesmaid, and Monica made up the bride, bridal party, mother of the bride, and several aunts and cousins of the bride throughout the day. Every single person looked so naturally gorgeous after Monica was done. She enhanced our features and made up "pop", without us looking overly made up. The makeup did not budge, even through an outdoor ceremony and reception in the Dallas heat! She applied false eyelashes that looked so natural. Everyone complimented us all night, not to mention the bride was truly radiant. Monica is truly gifted and I would recommend her to anyone, anywhere! I will be calling her for my own wedding, no matter where it is.

The makeup artist I originally hired months before my wedding called me at 11:30 p.m. (the night before the wedding) and said she couldn't make it. I was a mess! My sister called several Santa Fe area makeup artists and we crossed our fingers that someone would get back to us. About 3 a.m., Monica saw our voicemail and texted us that she could make it! Even though she had other weddings later that morning, she agreed to come at 6 a.m. to get all four of my bridesmaids and me done up. Monica was energetic and fun! She calmed my nerves and made me look flawless. Also, her setting spray was like magic--My makeup stayed in tact during my ceremony at noon until the reception ended at 11 p.m.! Even through the sweat! She provides the bride and bridesmaids with makeup touchup kits, but I only used it once before I took pictures around 4 p.m. Monica's services are a little pricey, but it's worth every penny if you want someone who will make you look and feel beautiful for your special day!

Monica did my makeup for my wedding day. The makeup was natural, flawless, and lasted all day and night. I was and am still very impressed! Love her!

monica is a firecracker. she will keep you laughing and entertained while she makes you look your best on your big day. she is VERY responsive returning calls and emails. she gave me great recommendations for other local vendors (this was destination wedding) and through her i found the guy who did my and my bridal party's hair (who was fantastic and reasonably priced). she did my trial for free where she really showed she knew her stuff, especially with beautiful, non-fake looking false eyelashes. she is pedigree'd from chanel but has a texas sized personality (where she and i are both from). i recommend!
