Kori and her staff were so welcoming. Kori was so personal and loving. She made my wedding day special by her presence. She made me feel relaxed. I could not have picked a better team for my wedding day hair & makeup! Codie was phenomenal and gave me the exactly what I was looking for. I was very specific about wanting my makeup to look natural as I'm someone who does not where a lot and boy did she deliver. I felt glammed up and special for my big day but also felt like myself when I looked in the mirror. Codie and her team took care of my entire bridal party and made us all feel comfortable and confident the entire time. Booking makeupatx was the best style decision I could have made for my wedding. Codie is beyond talented. She made me feel comfortable, confident and naturally beautiful. It was important to me to not look overdone and to feel like myself with a little razzle dazzle, and she completely nailed it. And on top of that she has a personality that lights up a room and she made the day so fun. Before finding makeupatx I had a really hard time searching for beauty vendors with the lack of representation of diverse brides in the Austin wedding scene, but makeupatx’s diverse portfolio and Codie’s amazing skills put me at ease. Codie and her team from MakeupATX were EXCELLENT!! Codie and her team made me and my wedding party feel BEAUTIFUL! They listened, and were thoughtful, and took extra care. They did touch-ups, made adjustments, and were diligent and made sure we were all incredibly happy. Beforehand I was nervous about feeling like my wedding makeup was going to be too heavy as I dont wear a lot of makeup in my every-day, but Codie made sure I just felt like the most beautiful version of myself! The team you hire for your wedding-day hair and makeup are so important because you will spend a lot of time with them on your actual big day. Codie and her team were so fun and lovely to hangout with, and on top of doing an excellent job on our hair and makeup, they slotted in and really felt like part of the group, in the absolute best way!!

Makeup ATX was wonderful!! These ladies knocked it out of the park for us at our wedding. We were so happy with how our hair and make up came out as well as the entire bridal party was!! We loved how organized Codie and her team were. Our wedding party consisted of 12 bridesmaids and two flower girls so it was a rather large group. What was most impressive is that each HMU artist really listened to what the wedding party wanted and executed flawlessly. Makeup ATX provided us with a timeline for the day of, showed up exactly on time, and finished us early as requested so we could take photos before the wedding. Not only did Makeup ATX do stunning hair and makeup, each artist was personable, easy to work with, and well Organized. We cannot recommend MakeupATX enough!! It was a pleasure to work with Makeup ATX!

Codie is absolutely incredible and made me feel beyond beautiful on my wedding day. I did trial hair & makeup with her for my bridal shoot and she nailed it! We made minimal changes for my wedding day. I got a ton of compliments on the timeless vibe I went for that Codie delivered on! I have extremely oily skin and thick, heavy hair and everything still looked great at the end of the night! My Mom has never had her hair or makeup done before but Codie did it for her the morning of my wedding and it brought my Mom to tears. She felt so confident with how she looked. Thank you again :)

Codie was one of my favorite vendors for the wedding! My hair and makeup turned out beautiful and she truly made me feel like a goddess. However, one of the qualities that I loved most about her was her personality and customer service. I was pretty nervous about several of my beauty issues and how it would affect the look that I wanted (melasma and straight hair that doesn't like to stay curled). She went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. She was the only HAMU artist that actually talked to me before we booked and answered ALL of my questions and concerns. I went into my wedding day confident and she did not disappoint. Her team arrived on time and did an amazing job with my LARGE bridal party (9 bridesmaids plus 2 moms). Even though my bridesmaids ran late, Codie kept me calm and even gave me a fun kit of makeup to keep me looking fabulous throughout the wedding. I am so happy that we went with her!! Definitely make sure to add her to your vendor list!

Codie is WONDERFUL! We had a smaller group and she was more than willing to work with me. Prices are reasonable and everyone absolutely loved their hair and makeup. I have never felt so beautiful in my life. Codie is unbelievably talented yet also sweet and easy to talk to. You will not regret booking with MakeupAtx!

I had researched several make-up artists prior to landing on Codie and I am so thrilled I went with her! Previous reviews talked about her calming nature in addition to her incredible talent and I absolutely agree. Codie made me look incredible on my big day (hair, make-up, and spray tan) plus she kept me totally calm! All my girls absolutely loved her and her team! They had us laughing and having a great time and all the girls were so happy with their hair and make-up and how natural it all was! It was perfect for photos and everyone felt so beautiful!

Ok so Codie was an absolute dream to work with. All of my bridesmaids and moms hair and makeup came out so stunning. She’s such a pleasure to chat with and makes the whole process seamless. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

Codie is incredible. I found Codie at a wedding event where she was a vendor. I knew I was going to book her the second I heard her charming southern accent and when she related to my wedding planning style by telling me she also had "champagne taste on a beer budget". Codie can do it all. From wedding hair/makeup, makeup for some Real Housewives of Dallas to editorial work. She really has the range to create what ever you would want for the day of your wedding. Skill and professionalism aside, I truly enjoyed spending time with Codie during our trial and the day of my wedding. As cheesy as it sounds, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend because the conversation flowed so easily. She really took her time and made sure my hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted. She made me feel comfortable speaking up about some tweaks I wanted to my makeup. And man oh man, can she tease some hair. My notoriously flat hair had the perfect amount of volume all night. In a city full of talented makeup artists, I urge you to book someone who you enjoy. Trust me... you'll end up spending hours with this person so make sure you at least enjoy yourself. Cody is the best! She is so warm and easy to be with! She really spends a lot of time and energy figuring out what you want your hair/makeup to look like. I wanted something very natural because I don’t like to wear much makeup and Cody perfectly executed my vision. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

Codi Lepors did an amazing job getting myself and my Bridal party ready for my wedding. She worked with us even though we had to postpone the wedding and made sure she worked in a safe and clean environment with everyone. She and her team had all the supplies needed and made sure everyone was comfortable and satisfied with the results. The makeup quality was the best that I have had, after a day full of tears, smiles, kisses and sweat, my makeup still made me shine through until the end of the night at our send off pictures. I highly recommend Codie and her team! She did my wedding makeup and I have never felt more radiant or beautiful. Codie was so easy and fun to work with! During my trail, she wanted to make sure every single detail was perfect and to my liking. She emphasized that she wanted to know if I didn’t like something or wanted to change something. And I could tell she truly meant it. She brought the same fun energy to the day of our wedding! She showed up on time and even though the bridal party (all 12 of us getting hair and makeup) was running 30 minutes late, she did not stress out at all about it. They still easily got everyone’s hair and makeup done in time. Her team has the same energy she has. One of my bridesmaids didn’t like how the braid in her hair look and she was hesitant to say something. I told her that they wanted to know if we don’t like something so they can fix it. The whole team wants us to be happy and feel beautiful. So she asked if her artist could fix it and she gladly did! I would hire Codie and her team again in a heartbeat.

Codie with MakeupATX was an absolute dream! The hair and makeup experience left me feeling like I had just spent a day at the spa. It was such a wonderful sensory experience, too, which I was totally not expecting. The smells were amazing, the hair tools she used were warm and relaxing but not hot or loud, and the creams and brushes she used made me feel totally pampered! She was gentle, calm, and soothing in both her approach and her demeanor. She was the perfect amount of chatty -- conversational but not overwhelming-- there was still plenty of space for me to relax and unwind and sit in silence, which as an introvert was so appreciated and needed! She was prompt, reliable, and very easy to talk to! That is so important to me. When I saw my makeup, I was delighted. I looked put together and glowy, but still totally like myself! Somehow she tamed my wild mane and put me at total ease throughout the whole process. She was such a pro and I found myself just wanting to be her friend! I left feeling refreshed, spoiled, and the most beautiful I've felt in YEARS! I would highly recommend Codie and I can't wait to use her again in the future. I think I need to do this more often! I normally do not write reviews but I felt like I had to for this amazing service and team! I was referred by a friend to Makeup ATX. I never wear makeup but I know I wanted to for my wedding. I was very concerned I was not going to look like myself. Kayla did my makeup and hair for my trial and wedding. She took all of my worries and concerns away! When Kayla handed me a mirror - I looked like me, but better! The makeup she used felt so light and airy. My bridal portraits came out perfect! She had 2 other artists that she brought on the wedding day. They did such an amazing job and made my bridal party look great too!

Codie is one of my absolute favorite humans. She has done my makeup multiple times for both professional and personal events and I have been ecstatic every single time. The time spent with her is always amazing, she is so kind and really listens to what you want. Her abilities just astound me. No matter what the occasion she has made me look wonderful. Codie was an absolute pleasure to work with! As one of the few brides now a days with a small party, I was having trouble finding a vendor who was flexible, and Codie calmed my worries and worked with me. She listened to my wants, and executed them perfectly. She tailored each makeup look to fit my bridal party and mother in law, but still made it look cohesive. If I could give Makeup ATX more than a Five Star rating I would! This team did my best friends makeup for her wedding last year, I was a bridesmaid. I instantly fell in love with all the looks they did at that wedding. I instantly booked them for my wedding as soon as I got engaged. Kayla with Makeup ATX, did my makeup and hair for my trial. I used the trial for my bridal portraits. I felt so pretty and loved the way my hair and makeup turned out. For the wedding I decided last min ( as in the day of my wedding) that I wanted to change the hair up so it wasn’t the same as my bridal portraits. I trusted that Kayla would nail the look I wanted. I was right! I loved both my looks she created! My hair and makeup lasted all day and through the night❤️

Reighley P Codie did an amazing job! I've been in 9 weddings with my makeup done by different professionals in Austin and I was the most pleased with Codie's work. She asked many questions to ensure she did the makeup I wanted for my wedding. Her products were all fabulous and I could tell she was far beyond experienced with her job. I've never had so many compliments on my makeup. I had more compliments on my makeup than my dress. What also struck me was her professionalism and great personality. She was very easy to talk to and was just really into my wedding. She was early to the wedding which was great! Overall I would highly recommend her to any bride and any bridal party!

I am a natural type gal. I do not wear a ton of makeup however for my wedding I wanted my makeup to have a romantic feel and that would look good all day and through photos, but still look natural. I am so thankful that I found Codie! She treated me like her best friend. She made me feel comfortable and I trusted her right away.
