alentine's Day, boudoir photoshoot, engagement photoshoot, and bridal shower. Each time she would customize each look so it fit the vibe of each shoot. I think Christine's biggest strength is how she makes you feel. I am someone who gets nervous and will just say "okay" to everything instead of saying what I actually want. Christine will ask questions to confirm and make me feel confident. She'll ask "Heavier on the eyeshadow?" or "Is that enough blush?" and similar questions. She is also totally okay with me asking her to adjust my eyeshadow 10 times since I have a genetic lazy eye starting to show and so she made my eyes match ahaha.
For the wedding, I had me, my 8 bridesmaids, my mom, mother in law, aunt, and grandma. I asked hair & makeup to be done by 1pm so we started at 745am which if you know wedding timelines that is not bad at all! We ended up having 3 makeup artists, and they were all equally amazing.
Christine and her team had our makeup last ALL DAY. We got married July 5th so the sun was beating down and making us sweat a lot, but you COULD NOT TELL at all because the makeup was flawless every moment! It really made me confident that everyone looked wonderful in the pictures. They had to because the makeup was perfect at every angle!
Two big highlights for me were 1: my grandma is extremely picky and always complains about how nothing can ever make her look good. Well guess what - Christine's team made her smiling from ear to ear the whole night because of how beautiful she was!
2: I had two black bridesmaids that I wanted to make sure received the same level of quality and care as the white/asian bridesmaids. I have heard horror stories of other makeup artists and foundations being too light or blush not showing up properly on darker-skinned ladies. Not the case with Christine's team!! She made sure to include an artist (Eddie) who did an absolutely amazing job with both of my bridesmaids. :) <3
Each bridesmaid had different face shapes, eye shapes, etc. The makeup team made sure to do makeup that suited each person. I asked for a smokey eye for all bridesmaids, but they made sure to tailor it to each person so the makeup was cohesive, but also best for each individual.
Christine and her team are the best of the best for any type of makeup for any situation. I have referred her to family for their makeup for parties and she always delivers! The feeling I had looking at all my bridesmaids all done up and pretty is a feeling I will never forget. On top of all that, Christine is so sweet, understanding, and caring. She is more than amazing and I am so lucky to have had her to treat the women in my life to her expert service! I plan to update this review with photos once they come back!

I've now had makeup done by her 4 times, and every time has been flawless. It lasts all day and night through sweat, tears, sun, and wind. She listened to my concerns when I told her that my skin is very oily.
Pro tip - just listen to her when she recommends false lashes. I was hesitant towards big lashes during my first trial, and later discovered that Christine was right. The big lashes are the way to go!! Trust me, whatever she's recommending to you is going to look the best. Don't be intimidated by the big lashes, just do it.
On wedding day, Christine and her team were on time, professional, and carefully listened to each girl's wants. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning, and my mom was very pleased with how her makeup turned out. If you are considering hiring Christine and her team, do it! I received SO many compliments on the Hollywood waves look that my stylist Dom perfectly styled. Additionally, my makeup was absolutely gorgeous and lasted 12+ hours (despite the many happy tears and tons of dancing into the late evening). I cannot recommend Christine and her team enough. I was able to book a trial before my wedding where Christine helped me make important choices in what makeup would help bring out the best version of me. As someone who doesn’t wear makeup frequently, Christine was able to achieve a very natural look that used makeup to highlight my existing features and make my face look dewy. On my wedding day this past weekend, Christine and her team (shoutout to Dominique, Eddie and Kerry) for their phenomenal work. They kept all of my bridesmaid and bridal party on schedule and finished on time for my wedding. My group was a mix of light, medium, dark, mature complexions and her team knocked it out of the ball park. All of them looked GORGEOUS! The process of setting up our contract was made complicated because of me. I kept adding people all the way up until the last week and she made it work. She was flexible and respectful and never made me feel guilty about any decisions made (or should I say, added). I sent plenty of emails/texts and she just knew and understood my look right away.
My makeup trial was so much fun. If you’re going to choose her for anything, she is just such a joy to chat with. And without even having any touch ups, she would - step-by-step - stop to make sure the process is going in the direction I liked. Her color theory was great and she matched my skin tone so well!
The day of the wedding, we had a few hiccups due to medical reasons, and honestly, I noticed none of it. She seemlessly fixed all potential problems without even making it noticeable to any of my bridal party. My bridesmaids were all on time and the process of getting my bridesmaids and family members ready was so smooth. My friends enjoyed the conversations shared with some of the artists and we literally just enjoyed our time. It was so much fun. I was so impressed how everyone was perfectly matched, makeup uniquely different (but seamless with the overall theme), and enhanced everyone’s natural beauty without being too done up. Everyone felt beyond beautiful, and they all were so happy with the entire experience (literally saw NO ONE touch up their hair/makeup either).

Eddie and Domenique were my makeup and hair stylists. They were both so talented in their respective areas! For my makeup, I asked for a more natural look and she nailed it. I was a little worried since I don’t wear much makeup, but Eddie made me look beautiful. With my hair, I didn’t have a style in mind, so Domenique picked one for me, and it turned out fabulous. I thought it really matched me!

I scheduled my makeup trial 2 months before my wedding where I met Christine at her studio which is a cute space near Kearny Mesa. She was playing 2000s throwbacks while she did my makeup and she was very easy to talk to. I was nervous about having my makeup done for my wedding because I have freckles and I wasn't sure how a makeup artist would be able to make my skin look without covering up all my freckles. As soon as I sat down Christine asked if I wanted my freckles covered or if I still wanted them to 'peek through' and I'm so glad she asked, she was able to keep my freckles so I still looked like me. I'm not a big makeup wearer and by the time she was finished it barely felt like I had anything on, my face the makeup is that lightweight! Christine also gave great tips for prepping my skin for the wedding day. On the day of the wedding she did the same look as the trial but suggested we go a little bigger with the lashes. She held up a couple of different options for me to see what they'd look like and I'm so happy with the ones we chose. The studio they have for trials and services is a super cute place and I felt very comfortable going there. Kerry nailed my trial and my day-of looks. She was also very helpful and attentive to my family members who were getting ready in the room with me. She didn't have to pay attention to them, but I was so appreciative of her giving some advice and talking with them as well! I felt so gorgeous on my wedding day and I have been eagerly awaiting my bridal shots, haha!

wanted for makeup and hair, Christine and her team delivered it, exceeded my expectations. I usually don’t wear makeup a lot because it feels heavy and it’s doesn’t last long. Tend to worn off. But the way Christine did her magic, it felt like I have no makeup on, and it’s lasted the whole night until midnight. At the end of the day, I almost completely forgot I even had makeup on. makeup and hair was something that I had initially thought I was learn to achieve myself and that it was something in the budget I should try to cut from to make other ends meet. I'm so glad that my now husband encouraged me to make it my day and so I booked with Christine after she worked with me to make availability work. This is a decision I do not regret. The vision board I had for myself came to life and done so professionally and confidently. The feeling of being done up with my closest girls, sister, and mom was the perfect lead up to a ceremony. The biggest deciding factor for going with Christine was how well she knew how to handle asian eyes (although I know she handles all types of faces) as well as her use in airbrush makeup. My face looked flawless the whole night! I was shocked to even learn that it covered the dreaded Asian glow I get from drinking. Additionally, the my hair (done by Metz) remained perfect. Her other teammate Alyson also did an outstanding job making sure the some of my bridemaids, mother, and sister looked just as professionally done up.
