Kristin did an amazing job with my makeup and my bridal party’s makeup! Super knowledgeable, caring, fun, and just all around amazing! Highly recommend for wedding makeup!!
Kristin and her team were an absolute dream to work with! They are all kind and relaxed and definitely made us all feel at ease on the morning of my wedding. I’ve never been great ...
with describing makeup and somehow Kristin figured out what I wanted to a T! She runs an absolutely seamless operation. When all 9 of your bridesmaids absolutely love their looks, you know it’s a success!

ke up to less make up, she made everyone look and feel incredible! I could not have imagined a better person to work with and have with me on my special day!
Amazing! Danielle was fabulous - she was so great to work with and made everyone feel like the best version of themselves!
I don’t know where to begin with how amazing the Making Faces Weddings team is. I am so thankful I found them. Kristin and Danielle did my bridal makeup, bridal party and my mother...
and aunt’s wedding makeup and everyone looked absolutely AMAZING. I have been in a lot of weddings and never seen an entire party so happy with their makeup results.
Kristin was my bridal makeup artist and she came to me for a trial (which was SO helpful). She could not have been nicer or put me more at ease. I was wrapping up graduate school and ended up being late for my trial and she was so unbelievably kind about it and took away so much stress. My trial felt like a therapy session, and I was thrilled with the result. She also gave me instructions on things I could do to help my skin before the wedding and all of her advice made a huge difference. Kristin truly listened to my vision and didn’t just try to understand my makeup style, but also me as a person and that made all the difference in the world when she created my look. She also was able to do a trial for my mom. My mom is not someone who is used to wearing makeup and, in the past, has not felt comfortable with getting her makeup done. Kristin made her feel totally comfortable and gave her the perfect look that made her feel both natural and beautiful.
On wedding day, Kristin and Danielle created a fun, stress free environment. They felt like friends helping us get ready! They listened to each girl and gave everyone a look that matched the individuals style while still looking cohesive with the group. Everyone was so happy with their makeup and had so much fun with both Kristin and Danielle. They are both so unbelievably talented.
I should also mention that it was a serious heat wave on my wedding day. Somehow Kristin and Danielle got everyone’s makeup to stay flawless ALL NIGHT. In fact, at the after-party (12 hours later) we were all talking about how our makeup was still fully in tact!
I am so thankful I found this amazing team. They made such an effort to make things perfect and easy for us. They truly made a huge difference in my day. I can’t say enough good things about these talented, kind, fun, amazing women and would recommend them to everyone!
Kristin and Danielle absolutely nailed the makeup for me and my bridesmaids on the wedding day! Everyone looked absolutely stunning - making faces is a wedding MUST. In addition ...
to her talent, Kristin was a crucial squad member day-of in that she helped me laugh through the wedding-day nerves.
I cannot say enough good things about Kristin and the team. They made me and all of my bridesmaids look and feel absolutely beautiful and were so much fun to get ready with. Kristi...
n was so easy to work with throughout the process - she came early to the shop on a Sunday morning to accommodate my trial, looked through my Pinterest with me and then beautifully captured the natural look I was hoping for, answered all of my questions, and was extremely flexible day of the wedding. I received so many compliments on my make-up and could not have felt more confident. All of us were blown away by how long it lasted, too! You couldn’t ask for a better team. HIGHLY, highly recommend!!!
WOW! Danielle is not only super friendly and fun, but she is ridiculously talented. She created the exact look I wanted, and then some. She was so easy to work with, and I reall...
y just can't get over how awesome my make-up looked throughout the ENTIRE evening. And my lips - I was obsessed with the color she created for me! The products she used were top notch and the techniques were fantastic - and that was for me, my best friend, my step daughter and my mom. They were all beyond pleased with the work Danielle did. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone needing makeup done for a wedding, or any occasion.
Danielle - thank you so much for making me look like a million bucks!
Kristin and Danielle truly are the best ever! They are fun, easy going and efficient, but most of all they are beyond talented artists. They managed to finish all of the girls in ...
my wedding party, my mother, grandmother and MIL with time to spare and everyone looked stunning!! Everyone was raving about how happy they were. Personally, I felt my skin and makeup were flawless and that certainly gave me a confidence boost!
I highly recommend this team for your big day. Stressing about your makeup at your wedding is totally unnecessary if you have these ladies to take care of you. I wish I lived closer and could call them anytime i have an important event to attend!
It was such a treat and a delight to work with Kristin for my wedding. First, she is unbelievably talented so I felt fantastic for my rehearsal dinner and for my wedding. But sh...
e also puts a level of care in her services that I haven't seen elsewhere. She spent hours with me on my trial working to get my wedding day "look" just right - I never felt rushed or that I was being overly demanding. She gave me a little bag of makeup supplies for both days as well - an amazing touch and I still use the setting powder she gave me!
On the day of the wedding I was so glad Kristin was there - not only did she do flawless makeup but she stayed till mid-way through the reception to help bustle my dress, reapply and make sure everything went smoothly during the photos. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her - I wish I could hang out with her all the time!

ver felt so flawless, and I didn’t even have to touch up anything at any point during the day or night. I didn’t feel like I was wearing too much make up, Danielle just made me feel like an uber-enhanced version of myself. Danielle is above and beyond professional, talented, and just a genuinely awesome person. She made me, my mother, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids feel so comfortable, relaxed and beautiful - each in our own unique way, no cookie-cutter “wedding” faces. I can’t recommend Danielle and the Making Faces team highly enough!
I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful Danielle, her assistant (I feel awful that her name is escaping me because she was brilliant) and Making Faces were for me and my girl...
s on my wedding day!
First, I live in NYC area and was getting married in Maine so I had no clue where to begin looking. Being extremely type A I didn’t know how I was going to find someone I loved who’d be willing to work with me from afar. My husband’s cousin suggested Making Faces and I could not have been luckier that they were available for my wedding!
Danielle fielded countless emails, arranged a trial that coincided with all my other trials and tastings (as I was traveling about 5-6hours from the city ) and was just wonderful through the whole process!
My wedding day couldn’t have been more fun and relaxed thanks in large part to Danielle! She and her assistant had me, 7 bridesmaids and my mom and not only did we finish early, but they touched us all up again after pictures and tears and made sure I looked flawless before I walked down the aisle ! They were truly amazing and I would absolutely recommend them to any bride or any one!! Thank you again Danielle, you and Making Faces made my day! Xxo

rofessional, knowledgable and personable (and funny too!) Every bride wants to feel "like a million bucks" on her wedding day, and I truly did. She and Katie also did a fantastic job with my bridesmaids and mother's makeup. They all looked stunning. I cannot recommend her enough!

d relaxing on the day. They made all of us look so amazing. No one looked overly made up and all of us felt flawless when they were finished. We all had different ideas of what we thought for make up and the were incredibly accommodating. They are extremely talented and lovely ladies.
Kristin was incredibly easy to work with and to communicate with. She is highly organized and has a super quick response time. I live on the west coast and they were incredibly accommodating with my schedule and worked around my trips back to the east coast.
I will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends and family. They are just the best!
I had the absolute pleasure of Danielle Mckenzie from Making Faces doing my makeup for my wedding day. I have never felt so beautiful and it was an amazing experience. Danielle was...
great to communicate with and really listened to the look I was going for. The day of my wedding Danielle arrived to my getting ready location on time and helped get myself and my bridal party ready. Also I really appreciated the touch up right before walking down the isle. Thank you for making a big part of my day stress free! I would highly recommend Danielle and the Making Faces team to any bride!
Danielle and the team at Making Faces surpassed all of my (and my hard to impress bridesmaids) expectations. They were easy to work with, did an outstanding job, and my makeup- as ...
well as my bridesmaids'- lasted until the end of the night and photographed beautifully!!
One of our best hires of the wedding!
Danielle and Making Faces did a phenomenal job on my and my bridesmaids' makeup for my wedding! I did makeup trials with a few people and the decision to go with Danielle and her t...
eam was SO easy. First of all, the makeup they do is really beautiful. The foundation is natural and bright -- no airbrush needed, their application of different foundations and concealers is perfect! -- and most importantly it stayed fresh throughout the entire 12 hour wedding day. No shine, and no heavy caking. I also got so many compliments on my eyes. I wanted a lighter, more natural touch and Danielle knew exactly what color eye shadows to use to bring out the green in my eyes. Some of my bridesmaids wanted a more dramatic smokey eye, and Making Faces was able to accommodate everyone's wishes. As a bonus, Danielle is so much fun to work with! Super nice, easy going and professional, Danielle brings a great energy to the big day and to the planning process. She always responded to emails super quickly and ensured that we locked down exactly what I wanted at my makeup trial, so I was all set for the big day way ahead of time. On the day of, she and her team arrived early to set up, took care of everyone in my large bridal party, and even stayed throughout our first look and family photos to retouch my and other's makeup as needed. Finally, their prices are very fair. The bridal package was a great day, especially for the quality of service we received. They are a team that you can count for your wedding or any special event. I would highly recommend Danielle to any friend and will definitely use her in the future whenever I need my makeup done again!
Making Faces is the CREAM OF THE CROP! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Danielle on (and before) my wedding day - August 12, 2017. Her and her colleague arrived on time ...
with all the necessary gear / products and were incredibly professional throughout the whole day. They kept on time with the tight schedule and were very accommodating of last minute special requests from bridesmaids and myself as well! I absolutely loved the finished product of my face as well as all of my beautiful bridesmaids and mother! I cried at the beauty of it all. Danielle has a special way of making the bride feel comfortable and taken care of despite the obvious stressors of the BIG DAY! Highly recommend Making Faces (particularly Danielle) and hope everyone loves their work as much as I did! :)

rocess. She truly got to know me, my style and listened to how I wanted to look as a bride....I loved everything about my look that day! On the day of my wedding there were a total of 10 girls to get ready, Danielle and her assistant were so relaxed and made our early start time flow seamlessly. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful that day!!

lly understood my vibe and even figured out how to do PERFECT makeup for my mom and sister who almost never wear makeup. Her range is a huge plus. And being wonderful to hang out with doesn't hurt either ;)

ccommodating, and a talented makeup artist. She was able to perfect the look I was going for! I had bridesmaids of various skin tones and comfort/experience with make up and she was able to achieve the look they all wanted with ease. She even worked with my hair stylist to create a schedule for my bridesmaids to make sure everything stayed on time on the day of my wedding! I would highly recommend Kristen if you are looking for a makeup artist!

utiful! They were professional, personable and fun. They helped give everyone the look they wanted and made us all feel relaxed when getting ready the morning of the wedding. I do not usually wear a lot of make-up but Danielle gave me a natural, beautiful look I loved. All our make-up stayed looking great all day and night despite the hot weather and lots of dancing. Danielle always responded quickly when I reached out to her. She mad every part of the process easy from communication, to scheduling, to payment. Danielle and the Making Faces team could not be nicer or easier to worth with, I highly recommend using them for your wedding!

tly how to enhance my beauty! Making Faces even makes touch up kits that they give you for the day of the wedding in case you need it (includes powder, lip gloss, q-tips etc.) which I thought was so thoughtful and necessary! d on the day of the trial (be aware makeup at trial will not look like the day of the wedding, more toned down for the trial just to give you a sense). I was blown away by how my makeup looked on the day of the wedding. It stayed on all night despite a very hot day. All the bridesmaids looked stunning!! My mother looked like my sister and looked incredible! Could not say more positive things about Danielle and her assistant Kate.
Danielle did my daughters' makeup this past Friday for prom and she was simply AMAZING!! I was competely stunned when I saw my daughters face, and could not believe how beautiful ...
she looked. My daughter was also thrilled with her finished look and thought Danielle did exactly what she wanted! Danielle was so easy to work with, sweet, knowledgeable and so amazingly gifted at what she does!! Highly highly recommend!! I look forward to working with her again in the future. Thank you Danielle ❤️ Kelly D

change a few details, and it was no problem at all! Kristin and her team will work with you no matter what, to help ensure that your wedding day is amazing. I am SO happy with how everything came out - I can honestly look back at my photos and say how much I loved the way I looked. Not to mention, by bridesmaids loved how everything came out!
Kristin and her team were incredible. I do not typically wear a lot of makeup and was definitely picky about finding someone who made me look like my natural self on my wedding day...
. Kristin was incredibly attentive and made me look even better than I could have imagined. I received so many compliments following the wedding for how natural and beautiful my entire wedding party looked. Kristin and Making Faces were so flexible, easygoing and easy to work with. Now I just need to find a time when I can have Kristin do my makeup again! Would give them more than 5 stars if I could.
I wish I could give more stars! It was by fate that I was able to book Kristin for my 08/27/16 wedding and I cannot imagine having a better experience! From the get go she was so ...
patient and helpful with my trial easing any fears I had and even made time to do a trial for my mom who had her own worries – My mom loved this of course and we both felt great going into the big day (we both also walked away with some makeup tips we will use in our everyday life). I knew the entire wedding party would love Kristin because she is an all-around awesome person, easy to talk to and works magic in the makeup department. We all felt SO beautiful on the big day and every one of my bridesmaids mentioned how down to earth and talented she was! I would highly recommend Kristin to anyone without hesitation! I only wish I had more excuses to have her do my makeup on a regular basis

ut the way I was going to look, but Kristin worked with me to make sure I was happy and felt great. These ladies arrived at my hotel room at 5 AM to get myself, my mother, mother in law, and my bridesmaids ready for the wedding. It was August, and the weather did not cooperate, but with that being said, my make up lasted over 12 hours! I felt so great that day, all thanks to the wonderful ladies of Making Faces!

ial from the moment we exchanged e-mails to set up my trial to the conversations we've had following the big day. The wedding party looked amazing and I loved my makeup! She listened to the look I was hoping for and made me feel like a princess. But it's not only the stunning look you will get from working with Danielle, it's the calm, positive, and happy vibe you get from having her be a part of your special day. Danielle was such an important part of my day and the memories I have from it would not have been the same without her being a part of it!
I cannot thank Danielle enough. She made me look and feel absolutely beautiful. I have to start off by saying that my bridal makeup was my biggest anxiety building up to my wedding...
day. I went through multiple makeup artists and had some horrifying trials. My mind was made up that I would be doing my own makeup until Making Faces was recommended to me. They were contracted at one of the weddings I was coordinating , the whole Bridal party & the Bride looked absolutely stunning. I know what I like for make up, I wear it daily and I basically own half of Sephora. Danielle was able to take my look and elevate it to perfection. Far beyond anything I could ever do. I did not think that I would feel that feeling of excitement when I saw the finished look and I was blown away. Her amazing talent, assurance and professionalism is by far the best in the business. I only recommend Making Faces to my Brides, there are no other options in my opinion. Danielle saved my wedding. Without that confidence, the whole day would have been completely different, and every Bride deserves to feel the most beautiful on her wedding day.
