rtable to say yes for my DJ . I knew immediately that John Price at Making Memories Entertainment was going to be what I was looking for and I haven’t looked back once. From the get go John and his wife have been amazing. Every text and email I sent was followed with a response within 10 minutes. He always knew who I was, my finance, and our wedding date/location too. He also has a form to fill out to go through the entire wedding reception activities. It was very helpful for me because it made me think of the flow of our reception and what all needed to get done. His wedding flow also made it so that I could relax and talk to people during the reception since John would just tell me when I needed to be in certain places. Not only was he awesome before the wedding but he went above and beyond at my reception. He had a great sound system and was more than my DJ. He helped my friends and family take care of all of my guests. We had a mad rush of people wanting drinks and food and John was there to grab drinks and refill snack bowls. He also mingled with the guests and played great music. I was approached by several guests saying how impressed they were with the DJ. He was professional and played music everyone would like. He also cares so much about his job. He is always trying to make himself better by going to conferences and getting the best equipment. He had several ideas for my reception that I had never even thought of! He also took some pictures of my husband and I’s first dance, father/daughter, mother/son, and random guest pictures for me! I can’t even begin to tell John how happy I was with his services. If I ever need a DJ in the future I know who to turn to!

ng a wedding in Kansas, but I would especially recommend him to any same-sex couples, as John is gay-affirming 110%! He loves our love!! Its been over a month since we got married and my wife and I still talk about what a great job John did, both in our ceremony and reception. I could not have designed a better DJ. He was the best!!

e weren't sure how to do some things like the father daughter dance when there was more than one dad, etc. He helped us handle it flawlessly along with other similar situations. We also had a specific "theme" to the music we wanted and John nailed it. He was able to do everything we asked and made the whole evening flow very smoothly. He even went above and beyond by taking pictures through out the night, some of which our hired photographer missed. We greatly appreciated his services and thoroughly enjoyed working with him. We have been and will continue to recommend Powerplay to all of our friends and family, as he truly has the talent to make a wedding perfect. Not only is he a great DJ, but a genuine person and friend that we are lucky to have stayed in contact with after our wedding.
