Brett, our lead photographer, went above and beyond to capture all of the magic on our big day, and he made everything feel very relaxed, comfortable, and natural even throughout the expected chaos of a wedding day. The communication from Katie, the creative coordinator, made everything feel very easy and stress-free, but she also made us feel very special along the way too with her personal emails. I literally cannot recommend Making the Moment enough, and to prove that point, we haven't even received ANY pictures back yet! That's how confident I am in the final product that Brett and his team are creating for us. They're seriously THAT good.

rom the moment we met Edric and the rest of the MTM team, they made us feel so comfortable and had us laughing through the initial awkwardness that comes with posing for photos–something many couples aren't used to. The entire team is so sweet, fun, and they truly are masters at telling story through photo and video. Our focus film is a piece of art... It captures all the raw emotions that were felt on wedding day–not only by us (the bride and groom) but also by our family and friends. They know exactly who to capture at exactly the right time. Along with that, the music and editing is… chef’s kiss. While photo and video coverage is a very large investment, the memories captured are, and will always be, priceless. They hand edit everything, so be prepared to wait for them to create your masterpiece. I promise it will be worth the wait. Thank you again, Making the Moment, for capturing our day perfectly.

t part about working with them was that I never ever felt rushed or like I was on someone else's time. Anything I asked for, they made possible. My now-Husband and I first met with Brett in December of 2020 and had the most wonderful time chatting with him. From there, we did not look for a single other photographer or videographer. His work was exactly what we were looking for - timeless, artistic, unique and he has this amazing ability to capture his couples in their purest form. I feel like our wedding portfolio (engagement session + full-day coverage of our wedding) perfectly captures my relationship and I couldn't be more grateful to them for being there on our day. It just felt like we were hanging out with our friends all day with Brett, Anna, and their team. Our bridal party LOVED and raved about Brett all night & so did my guests/family. I couldn't recommend them enough. What they've given us is priceless!

Now, after having received our photo gallery and some video edits as well, I can confirm that if we would make the same decision again. Firstly, they are a kind and fun team who made the our event days easier, lighter and really made the photo sessions fun! They were also very kind to all of our family and guests and this was something we heard a lot about. The photo and video work is amazing. The first glimpse was our same day edit, which was masterful and so quickly and intricately designed by Anna! It was so special to have that at our reception for not only our guests who may not have been able to make prior events but also for us as a recap. Brett and the rest of the photography team are so good at what they do! Both at making people comfortable during photo sessions, coming up with cool ideas and the finished products themselves. We are very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking for an amazing photo/video team!

What is unique about Making of the Moment is they really want to customize the video with what matters to you and are there to help pull together something memorable and special to the couple. On the wedding day, the team was so nice and easy to work with (and patient!) and while they captured all the important moments, they stayed behind the scenes and didn't make you feel like you were just being recorded. We are so grateful to them for the great work they did and couldn't imagine a better video for us. If you're on the fence about a video, I highly recommend working with them - it will be worth it!

teams. They were able to accommodate the logistics of 3 ceremonies and 2 receptions in one crazy day and made sure to capture beautiful imagery and video throughout. I wish we had read our contract prior to signing a bit closer, but we didn’t realize until after the wedding that the agreed upon delivery timeframes were quite long. I think it’s not uncommon in the industry, but I do know of photographers and videographers that are able to deliver same-day edits or even a thorough preview within days of the event. Ultimately, we received our full set of photos within 6 weeks and our video after 5 months. The wait was well worth it, we are very satisfied with the final products.

He is also very encouraging and artistic, he scouted a few locations around our family farm that I didn't even know would make for such gorgeous photos! His smile and encouragement helped make the wedding a day to remember! They even invite you to their office to review the images with your photographer after the wedding, a nice personal touch!

s, having a camera on me non-stop. But when Brett walked into the room it was as if everyone became calmer in his presence. His kind, soft-spoken manner radiated positive vibes into the room. The entire team introduced themselves to everyone in the room and then instantly felt like they were part of the family watching the events. Everyone was so polite, hard working, personal and punctual. When I had to change my venue last minute, they went with the flow without complaint. Our guests were engaged and Brett made a point to make sure at the end of each event there were not any specific pictures missed. We were married (finally!) last Saturday and had a fantastic experience with the entire team. owever, it is truly probably the most best investment we have ever made. I felt like part of a family, from the countless number of emails, phone calls, texts ... the list goes on and on. When we first started the wedding planning process, we had originally hired a different photo & video team; after we had gotten our engagement photos done by them, we knew we had made the wrong decision. After we got our first set of engagement photos back, we decided to start looking into a new photographer. I had first talked to Brett when we first started looking for a photo & video team - I loved their idea of the cinematic videos, and I felt like their photos told a story. I just can't explain it - they just make sense. When we finally went in to talk with Brett for our first visit, literally every. single. thing. we hated about our old photographer they said they didn't do. The best part, WE NEVER TOLD THEM THAT WE HAD HIRED ANOTHER PHOTOGRAPHER! They thought that law school had gotten the best of us, and we were just super busy. When we left that day, my husband and I knew we had found our photographers. They have several different packages you can choose from, however, we went with several packages that included a cinematic video, trailers, full length videos (more on that later), photos (wedding & engagement), and books. The cinematic video didn't just include the day of the wedding, but a separate day that the video team comes and videographs - think of it like a video engagement session. For ours, we decided to have a party (our bridal party party as we called it) and Anna came out and filmed for a couple hours. The cinematic video also includes interviews, so we were able to have some interviews taken at the bridal party party too. This was so much fun, and the whole entire team was amazing. Sadly, COVID has changed us all, and one of the things that happened was we had to change our entire reception (literally change venues and tell people they couldn't come) about 5 weeks before our wedding - that was no easy task, but because of MTM, we were able to live stream our ENTIRE WEDDING (both ceremony and reception) and they worked with us every step of the way in planning everything. I am extremely OCD, I need control of EVERYTHING - this was probably the first time that I was able to breathe easy; I knew that the MTM team was able to do what we needed them to do. It was flawless - everybody who wasn't able to be at our wedding because of COVID was able to watch. And people who still wanted to watch the reception were able to, even though we had to limit it to bridal party, plus ones, and parents. The best part? We were able to rewatch our entire wedding and reception the day after we got married. I will never be able to thank Brett for that. I could probably continue writing on for hours because they were truly that good. Everybody loved their energy, their passion, and how they made everyone feel included and loved. I don't think I could have asked for a better team on my special day and throughout the process. If you are considering Making the Moment, please hire them. They are 100% worth it - they will make everything better, and they will remind you that it is your day and to enjoy it.

oment’s website. I was recently engaged, and started googling photographers. And let me tell you... a lot came up. Too many for someone who doesn’t like to really make a ton of decisions. I knew what I wanted and needed to find it. Not a single company/person had a website like MTM.. it blew me away! I was crying at wedding videos of people I never even met, and laughing at all the funny and hidden detail in their website! They were the only company I actually scheduled an appointment with and once I met them I didn’t need to see anyone else. I was completely blown away by every single aspect of the company; scheduling, team, ownership, creativity, uniqueness, professionalism and their level of care for each client. It was only after I booked with them that I learned my co workers were in local networking groups with Brett the owner, and they told me I made the best damn choice. We did our engagement photos with them and LOVED how it came out. And then came the wedding. Brett was our photographer and got to know everyone’s names in the wedding party, their relationship to us and so much more. His entire team was everywhere but unseen all at once. To me, the photos and video were the most important vendor to hire because it was the one “bill” that would last forever. We saw our photos and video a few days ago and I am utterly speechless. Anna was our videographer and found an amazing story to tell with the hours of footage she had to work with. My family actually sees the video today and Anna, you’ll never know how touched they’ll be, but know that you made a lasting impression on us all. Brett and your team: the photos are absolutely stunning. You captured everything from the moment you walked in til you guys left. There are photos of things and moments we didn’t even know happened. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. If anyone reading this wants to hire a company who will treat this day as if it was their own; this is it. No one will care about your wedding day as much as you, but trust me when I say, it felt like Brett, Anna, and the team cared just as much if not more.

We had two ceremonies in one day and for two people who don’t love being in front of the camera and were mentally drained from wedding planning, Brett, Sarah and DJ were the security blanket feel of experienced professionals we needed to help pull off the day. They have incredible vision and humor while understanding the logistics for our day made things a little more complicated. Their energy is so positive and helped us make it through bee stings, weather challenges, family member requests and so much more. Not only did we love working with the MTM team, our families and guests loved them too. We cannot recommend them enough!

the work that this team of talented artistic professionals create. I’m definitely one to do my research, and after reviewing a number of portfolios, nothing quite compared to their awesome imagery. Not only is their work stunning, but their communication and overall support is fantastic – the pre-planning and absolute attention to detail gained our complete trust, which on your wedding day, is an invaluable piece of mind. Brett as Creative Lead / Primary Photographer kept to the timeline we had worked together on and very efficiently directed our party and made quick adjustments for day-of requests. Anna as Cinema Lead along with the help of 3 other team member, I’m sure caught all of the best footage (we can’t wait to see it all!!). Both Brett and Anna were professional, kind and best of all, FUN. Photo capture can be a big portion of the day, and they kept things moving smoothly and allowed us the freedom to laugh and be candid with our party. Amber and Ron arrived in the morning and didn't leave until almost midnight so they were with us every step of the way. They were fun and friendly and helped us to relax so they could capture genuine pictures (getting your picture taken can be so awkward - you want someone you can be "you" around). The quality of the pictures themselves was amazing. We got everything we wanted - from emotional candids, to formal photos to unbelievable creative images. We especially loved the artistic shots. I chose MTM because they have artistic photos on their website that are unique, and their expensive cost made me feel like they would work hard to get the shots needed. I was disappointed, as maybe 2-3 of the photos in my collection are artistic and/or creative. On a positive note there are lots of photos to choose from. The day was very chaotic (as many weddings are) and it rained. The communication the day of was horrific. The photographer was late to our first on site location, leaving my husband and I sitting in our bus alone for 30 min waiting. Then, the photographer did not come into our rain venue because he didn't want his equipment to get wet. This wasted even more time, and we didn't get one shot of my wedding party. Luckily my videographer was able to catch some stills of my wedding party during her video portion. I would not use them again, however we are happy to have any photos at all from the event.

The final product isn’t just a bunch of pictures of you and your bridal party lined up and smiling (although those pictures are included, obviously). Instead, the final product pulls a one-two punch. It both tells the chronological story of your wedding day in still images -- capturing the moment you were sitting on the couch laughing with your bridesmaids, the way that you and your groom looked at each other for the first time, and the way that you and your guests killed it on the dance floor, to name a few -- while ALSO capturing the rollercoaster of emotions and the small moments that made your particular wedding day special and unique. This allows you to not only have fantastic images from your wedding day for the rest of your life, but it also enables you, in many ways, to relive every part of your wedding day over and over forever and ever -- not just what happened, but all the feelings and thoughts that went along with it. From our point of view, Making the Moment was worth every penny. Actually, just getting to hang out with Amber was worth every penny, so the amazing photos we got on top of that were just the icing on the cake. After over a year of detailed (and, at times, intense) wedding planning, if we could give one piece of advice to brides and grooms out there in the Northeast Ohio area, it would be to go book Making the Moment as your wedding photographer. Now. You will be so happy that you did.

From our engagement photos (which Amber drove down to Columbus to take with us), to the planning leading up to the wedding, to our wedding day and even post-wedding. Plus, they are just all around GOOD VIBES to have around on the wedding day...happy, excited, laughable. Amber was so willing to get the photos we wanted, and we also gave her the freedom to take us wherever! She was out on the dance floor getting photos of us and our crazy friends (while I'm sure also getting rained on by White Claw). Her dedication for capturing our day was unparalleled. We've only seen a few images so far (which are AMAZING), and cannot WAIT to have our premier with them in July! Our engagement photos turned out better than I had ever hoped! So candid, and natural and REAL. If you're looking for super staged, forced smiles and statue like photos, look elsewhere. If you're looking for candid, real, fun and beautiful photos, look no further. The MTM team is unlike any other! Their editing and ability to capture realness is incredible. Like, near tears when we watched the little custom reveal MTM set up. Marcus captured our day perfectly and we could not have asked for more. We traded a few emails before the wedding so I could share the list of 'portrait' style pics we wanted with our family (I'd recommend this to every bride) but on the day of she showed up ready to rock.
