Sarah is a true professional who knows what she is doing AND the science behind it. As a physician, I was constantly impressed with how much she knew about the physiology etc involved with skin and beauty related topics. She made my wife and I look AND feel our best all throughout our wedding day from before the ceremony through the wedding photos all the way through the reception. Sarah is a truly beautiful person with amazing positive energy who is PASSIONATE about her work. I give Sarah and Making You Glow my highest recommendations without any reservations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Sarah is to work with. From the time I called her to set up an initial meeting, to the make-up trial. to my wedding day she was fabulous. Her and her teams (Lani – love you too) calm demeanor made all of us calm and relaxed. I looked and felt beautiful all day long and so did my wedding party!! I can’t say enough about Sarah! I NEEDED her for my day more than you could imagine. It goes without saying that her talent , art and personality set her apart... her work is incredible and she was by my side start to finish making sure I was pulled together but she was also my encourager and sanity in several of my insane moments. She really took care of me as a bride and as a bride and mom of six kids... I needed her to keep reminding me! She was organized, thoughtful, on time and functioned like a well oiled michine. I appreciate several personal moments with her that she had the opportunity to allow tips she hs learned over the years to be helpful and save the day. She “fixed” me several times throughout the evening when I didn’t even realize I needed it. SO many wonderful things to say about Sarah!! She is the very definition of professional, and amazing to work with at every step. She did my makeup and hair for an engagement photo shoot, and not only came into Boston at 5:30am(!) for the early morning photo session, but did such a great job in every way. She KNOWS what she is doing - she can answer absolutely every skin or makeup question you could possibly have, and drops expert dermatological knowledge like it's nothing. While she takes her job very seriously, she's also SUCH a nice and fun person to talk to - a perfect combination to feel relaxed and know you're in safe hands! She might be a hair miracle-worker: My hair doesn't hold a curl well at all, but I usually ask hair stylists to try and curl it for special events, saying that they might need to take some extra steps to help it hold (and they usually don't really listen, and within an hour it's straight again...) The first thing Sarah asked me? "Does your hair hold a curl?" (she could just tell!) I said "no..." and she *somehow* took all the right steps to make it happen. There was a light rain during our photos, and STILL Sarah's work totally held up and I had the loose curls that I wanted! She even touched up a little spot on my fiance's face, which was totally above and beyond (and I'm sure cut down on editing time for our photographer)! Can't wait to work with Sarah again!

I booked Sarah from MYG and it was the single best decision I made when booking any vendors for my wedding. She understood what my vision was and worked with me to get there. She made me feel at ease right away and is super fun! The morning of my wedding she arrived on time and prepared. She did hair and make up alone for myself, my maid of honor, and my mom in only a few hours. Usually my hair is in a ponytail and I don’t wear much if any make up. I didn’t feel like anything was caked on and the make up and hair the day of my wedding was more than anything I could’ve asked for- I felt so beautiful and natural. She came to our first look and made sure my veil and headpiece were in the right spot and if I needed any touchups she was right there for me. Sarah is worth every penny! Sarah and her team are the absolute best people you can hire for your wedding day. Sarah goes above and beyond to make sure your day goes smoothly - she coordinates with your other vendors, keeps you calm and happy, and makes getting ready an all around wonderful experience. Additionally, they are INCREDIBLE at hair and makeup - my bridesmaids, moms, and I all came out great. The makeup and hair looked really natural yet beautiful and lasted the whole day on everyone. They are the one hair and makeup stylist team I've seen where no one has a complaint with their look and everyone is really pleased. I love Sarah and her team! Highly recommend using Making You Glow for hair and make-up! The owner (Sara) was amazing to work with and always quick to respond. We had Shannon for make-up and Ashlee for Hair and both exceeded my and the bridal parties expectations. They made the whole getting ready process so much fun and easy and were able to bring to life exactly what we wanted. Sarah and the Making You Glow team were absolutely amazing to work with. I am not a big glam girl, and know very little about make up so I was a little apprehensive booking make up artists as I wanted to look very natural. Sarah made the whole process seamless, from the consultative call in the beginning, to the trial, to the actual day of she was a total expert and knew what I needed. I left my trial feeling totally confident that everything would be perfect for the day of the wedding, and I actually really enjoyed the time I spent there chatting with Sarah and Rachel! The day of the wedding they were prompt and got set up quickly and with no issues. The scheduling was perfect, and helped to keep the whole day on track. Everyone's make up looked beautiful, and my mother in law loved her look so much she asked for all the products they used so she could buy them herself. I cannot recommend MYG enough!

I can not put into worlds how thankful I am that I went with Making You Glow for my wedding day beauty. Sarah made me feel comfortable and beautiful from our very first meeting - I knew on that day needed her on my wedding vendor list. Her and her entire team were nothing but professional while still having a blast with us on the morning of my wedding. There are not enough words allowed in this review to fully express how happy I am with my choice to have Sarah and her girls at Making You Glow with me on my wedding day. I wasn't even sure I wanted professional makeup, but decided to have her do everything for me and hair for my bridesmaids. After our first phone call I started describing Sarah to everyone as "morning coordinator" because she immediately created a schedule of everything and expressed a deep satisfaction in dealing with any potentially difficult ... ahem... family/friends (this didn't end up being necessary, but great to know). My hair trial was just a couple of days before the wedding, and as soon as I sat down on the morning of, Sarah and I simultaneously announced that one of the braids from the trial should be inverted - it was magical. She made me look like a princess for the photos that will be on my mantle forever and for that I cannot thank her, and her team, enough!

If you are looking for the most perfect glam squad, you found it! “Making You Glow” came highly recommended to me and after seeing all of the pictures I knew I needed to find out more! All of Sarah and her team’s work is beautiful. After talking with Sarah on the phone I knew we were a perfect match. Sarah was extremely outgoing, responsive, and organized throughout the entire planning process. Sarah helped me with determining when to begin makeup and what time photographers should arrive. She even created an organized schedule for us to follow the day of the event so that everything would run smoothly. Sarah and Lani arrived at my house the day of the wedding and fit right in. They made all of us feel so comfortable and attended to. Sarah is so personable, friendly, and extremely talented. Sarah and Lani made every single woman in my bridal party look their absolute best. They even provided a lip touch up kit for everyone to bring to the wedding and taught us “how to cry” and not ruin our makeup! Sarah is absolutely AMAZING! I truly felt beautiful the day of my wedding and owe it all to her! The best part was the airbrush makeup lasted all day and night! Making You Glow is worth every penny!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Sarah and her crew are. So professional from day one and everyone had the best energy to relieve the stress and anxiety on my wedding day. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Sarsh then stayed at my wedding until late to do hair and make up touch ups on myself and bridal party. That was the best thing I could have ever asked for, especially on a hot summer day!! 1000% recommend it!! Not a moment went by that I did not feel my beautiful and I honestly owe it all to Making You Glow! I could not be any more thankful!

Where do I even start! Sarah is so amazing at what she does! Made all of us bridesmaids and bride feel soo beautiful! She also offers to come to venue and touch us all up with hair and makeup for most of the night. It is an add'l. Fee but when your wedding is in Newport on the water under the hot sun..this is a MUST! she assisted us all with everything we needed! Shes the best and made this special day perfection and zero stress for the the bride and her maids. 👰😍💄I highly recommended her and her glam crew! You will not be disappointed!!

Sarah, Lani, Kyle and Shannon get all the stars! They made myself and my girls (all 7 of them) look amazing for my big day, and not fake/orange amazing, amazing amazing! Sarah was so responsive to all my questions and was so kind even when I changed our getting ready spot 100 times in 3 days. Her team came on time and had all 8 of our hair/makeups done before schedule! When does that ever happen? Making you glow is worth every penny and I would highly recommend them no questions asked! Sarah and Stephanie were absolutely amazing! They made my mother, my cousins and myself look absolutely beautiful for my wedding day this past Saturday! Sarah is an incredibly skilled makeup artist who was able to make us look so beautiful and natural. Sarah is a rare and beautiful gem. She has a bubbly, warm personality and makes every client feel special. We met when she did my hair and makeup for a boudoir photo shoot (my wedding gift for my husband), which was amazing because she made me feel comfortable and gorgeous despite being very nervous. The makeup and curls she put in at 9:30am lasted ALL day and night on a warm summer day! I was lucky that Sarah was free on my wedding day. She did my hair along with 3 other bridesmaids. Everyone's look was different (messy bun with tendrils, a side bun with a cool twist, and a funky braid/bun and I wore my hair half up, eventually tucked tighter after the ceremony to be almost a low-pony), and all of the girls looked amazing and it held all night with dancing and another warm day. I was so afraid to not like my hair (I have long dirty blonde hair) on my wedding day after so many proms and bridesmaid updos that I never loved. This was different - I loved it and I felt like ME! (I had a different makeup artist that I had previous hired for all of the wedding makeup, but would have gladly hired Sarah for that too) And outside of her talent, Sarah is organized, professional and prompt. She put together a schedule which I was then able to take an add the other hairdresser and makeup artists to in order to keep the entire morning of the wedding on track. She arrived prepared exactly on time. HIRE SARAH and her TEAM!!

Sarah and the rest of the Making You Glow team helped to make my wedding day perfect! Sarah is extremely organized, flexible, responsive, and professional. She was the first of my many vendors to create a timeline of the day (color coded and all)! Her and the team made all 13 of my family members look beautiful the morning of my wedding. They finished our hair on schedule- a stress reliever for any bride. Making You Glow exceeded my expectations. They were not only my hair stylists but it felt like they were our own mini wedding planners, helping to facilitate a perfect wedding morning. Everything went so smoothly. Where do I start with Sarah and her team of amazing artists! I hired Sarah, A. Because she is one of the most talented makeup artists I've seen and B. Because her and her team are by far the most fun people to be around! I've known Sarah for a while as she's always been my hairdresser, so once I got engaged and booked my venue she was the first person I called. She had another wedding that morning already booked, but assured me no matter what she'd be there! And without a doubt, that she was.. she's always been completely honest with me about what would look good and what wouldn't which is another reason I treasure her. I knew day of getting ready I needed someone around that I could be completely honest with and vice versa. Both her and her team are perfectionist and make you feel beautiful both inside and out. I love how down to earth they all are, and can make even one of the most anxious moments of your life seem like a breeze. Making You Glow is flawless! Everything was so easy. Everyone was so organized and professional. Kyle, Sarah, Priscilla and Jess are the best. My bridal party and I had a blast getting ready with everyone. Not to mention everyone looked beautiful! They do an amazing job. I changed my mind for my hair the morning of my wedding and it came out perfect! Kyle is a hair guru! Jess' make up skills are amazing. She played up everyones best features. I'm not sure if I can find the words to truly express my gratitude for this incredible team of individuals. Making you Glow was by far the easiest decision I had to make during my wedding planning. They are a group of funny, kind and professional girls and guy :) Not only did they make us look beautiful they made us feel beautiful. Sarah, Lani, Kyle you guys ROCK! thank you a million times for being such a huge part of my big day and my forever memories. Side not: My MOH has really thin and straight hair she has told me storied of her proms and wedding. she told me her hair is a lost cause and will not stay up or hold a curl. Well Kyle was the one to prove her wrong! her hair was incredible and lasted all night. Not a hair fell out of place.

I chose Making You Glow for our wedding party's hair and makeup because I felt like the pictures on their website showed that they could pull off a variety of top-level makeup and hair looks, but I was blown away by every aspect of the experience after contacting them. Sarah is incredibly prompt with her replies and detail-oriented when it comes to scheduling a variety of services for lots of people. I was a long-distance bride, and Sarah and Shannon were very accommodating about fitting me in for a trial when it worked for my schedule, not theirs. When I arrived at the trial, I had no idea what to expect, but they brought so much energy to the situation and immediately made me feel at ease. I loved that they asked about me, my then fiance, and what kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding as well as looking at the pictures I had brought. It seemed like they really wanted to know what I wanted for our wedding and worked accordingly. While I trust professional opinion, it was nice to hear someone in the whole planning process agree with me and just give me exactly what I had dreamed! I was also amazed that they worked so quickly and effortlessly. The day of the wedding, they arrived early. I cannot tell you how much that put me at ease, since getting behind schedule was a huge concern for me that day. My girls and I actually had a half hour or so to drink champagne and look beautiful before the limo arrived after we were done. Our hotel unfortunately did not have large rooms, but they took control and worked with the furniture available as well as bringing their own lighting to make sure everything looked perfect. My girls had discussed wearing bold lips that were the same shade, and somehow Sarah figured out the exact color that would look perfect on all of them in no time at all. I also have to say that Shannon was a total angel that day. My mother is very allergic to fragrances and can be a bit picky. Shannon moved all of her hair equipment to a different room and used my mom's fragrance-free products to give her the exact gorgeous look she wanted. I cannot tell you how wonderful it was that my mom was able to feel like a normal mother-of-the-bride that day instead of a woman who had to do her own hair because of her allergies. Shannon didn't bat an eye at any of these requests, and that was priceless. It goes without saying that we were thrilled with the final looks and would wholeheartedly recommend Making You Glow to anyone!

Sarah is absolutely AMAZING. Booking Making You Glow is truly a no brainer. Hair and makeup is a vital part of a wedding, and my bridesmaids, mother, and I are so incredibly lucky and ecstatic that we booked the best possible makeup and hair artists possible. Sarah starts with a bridal makeup and hair trial. She is so relaxed and makes you feel comfortable right away. She is extremely professional and knew exactly what to do for my bridal look. She even asked to see my wedding dress to ensure that my bridal look matched my dress. After the bridal trial I was in love. She then sends a bridesmaid frequently asked question memo and organized schedule showing who would be doing hair and makeup and at what time. It was perfect to stay organized the day of and to prep the bridesmaids prior to the big day. When Kyle, Lani, and Sarah arrived I couldn't have been happier. They are the dream team. The hair and makeup that they styled on myself, the bridesmaids, and my mother was stunning. It was more than I could ever ask for. To top it off, they provided lip touch up bags, and made sure we were picture perfect before they left. I can't say it enough, they are AMAZING. Thank you so much for making one of the most important days of my life feel like a fairytale. You are incredible.

I used Lani for my wedding day. She was terrific to my wedding party and myself. She made everyone absolutely beautiful! Even my mother-in-law who never wears makeup got airbrush and eye lashes. She was skeptical at first but Lani talked her through it and told her exactly what she would be doing and made her feel totally comfortable. The end results for all of us was amazing! Sarah, Jess & Team were one of the best wedding decisions I made! We got married in NH, and it was the perfect day to get ready outside by the lake... and Sarah and team thought of it and pulled everything together to make sure we had a relaxed day and beautiful view while getting ready. Sarah did the wedding makeup for my wedding in September and I honestly can't say enough positive things! Sarah and her team are incredible!! From the minute I met her and Lani (for my hair) at my trial appointment, I knew I was in the best hands. I showed Lani my general idea for my hair and she made it look even better than I imagined! As someone who does not usually wear a lot of makeup, I let Sarah do her thing and she made me look and feel so beautiful...I was so sad to take the makeup off the next day (because it lasted the entire night through..including some sweaty dancing!) All of my 7 bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law looked AMAZING as well! Sarah brought out everyone's natural beauty and had us all looking absolutely flawless. Everyone had their hair done as well and.. wow!! I can't say enough how fantastic everyone looked. I have gotten non-stop compliments about how beautiful all the ladies looked on the wedding day. Sarah was amazing, all the bridesmaid and especially the bride (my daughter) looked stunning. She made everyone comfortable as well as beautiful. And the miracle was when she did my makeup, she was going to be the deciding factor on my choice of contacts or glasses. Sarah is amazing! I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day and I owe it all to the amazingly talented makeup artist Sarah! I wish I could hire her for my everyday life! She's such a joy to be around and quite hilarious! She kept everyone laughing. My bridal party looked flawless and I do believe the exact words my mother used were "Sarah, you're a miracle worker!" And I wholeheartedly agree! Pricing is so very reasonable as well! I will be referring Making you Glow to everyone I know!!

Sarah is the best! She did an incredible job on all of my bridesmaids and myself. She takes the time to make sure that everything is perfect and that you are comfortable. Sarah is relaxed and super easy to work with. If you are looking for perfection and to be put completely at ease-- she's it!

Sarah and her team were absolutely amazing for my wedding day hair and makeup! Sarah and Lani were my team specifically, and we had a trial before the big day so we could try different looks and make sure my hair and makeup were 100% what I wanted. The trial was amazing, they hit the nail on the head first try for both hair and makeup, we didn't have to change a thing! My mother-in-law also had a trial for both and was extremely happy, she had never had her hair or makeup done. She was nervous and the girls made her so comfortable and confident in her look. The day of the wedding was perfect, the team arrived on time and jumped right into getting my girls ready. I had 7 bridesmaids, my mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. 11 total including myself. When I tell you that every single person looked amazing I'm not joking. All of the girls hair was incredible, Ashley and Lani are super talented and did such a wonderful job. My girls all had different hair, thin, curly, think, thin and they all were extremely happy with how their hair came out. My Mother and Grandmother looked stunning, as well as my mother-in-law. She was the most nervous because she has thinner hair and very rarely wears makeup. She was very very happy with both her hair and makeup. My hair and makeup were perfect, there really isn't any other word for it. Lani did my hair, and it was 100% what I wanted, every curl was in place, it was secure, and made me feel beautiful. Sarah did the makeup for everyone, with the help of Jess for eyelashes (must do!!). Sarah has this amazing airbrush foundation that she uses that makes your skin look flawless and STAYS ON!! At 2am that morning after dancing and hugging and kissing everyone, my make up was still perfect! She helped me craft my romantic soft look, and it came out so beautiful. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and wanted to make sure I still looked like myself, just amped up. Sarah was amazing, she made me feel like the most beautiful and confident person for the most important day of my life. I honestly couldn't have done it without her and Lani and the rest of the girls. They were incredible! They are a great time too, very conversational, funny, and relaxed. They made the morning so fun and kept me calm! I highly, highly recommend Making You Glow for your wedding or any event. I am going to be working with Sarah again for a boudoir session photo shoot in a few weeks.

Sarah and her team made my daughter's entire wedding party GLOW for my daughter's wedding on August 30. They were punctual, professional, and FUN. Of course, since I have known Sarah since she was a young girl, I am more than proud of the successful, professional woman she has become. The grandmother of the bride initially was not happy with her hair but Sarah and the team went above and beyond to make her feel and look beautiful! Brides: don't hesitate to call Sarah and book her for your wedding party. She will not disappoint you!!!

From the very first interaction I had with Sarah I could tell she was accommodating, professional and genuinely interested in my wedding "vision". She asked great questions, got to know me and made me laugh my behind off every time we spoke. On the day of the wedding I was super relaxed,bored almost,having watched all my bridesmaids get done up early in the morning. Sarah knew I didn't want to sit around all day done up for my 5 o'clock wedding and agreed to come later in the afternoon. I knew ahead of time that she had several other obligations that day and she never once made me feel rushed. The conversation was free flowing, the make-up was amazing and she has since become my hair dresser! I could never imagine having selected anyone else to make me shine on my big day!

Probably the easiest decision I made for my wedding (besides the groom!) was picking Sarah Rodrigues and Making You Glow for our hair and makeup. Sarah is phenomenally talented and so worth spending the money! She did the makeup and her team did the hair at my cousin's wedding and she looked like an absolute movie star. Once it was time for me to get married, I just HAD to go with her. She is down to Earth, hilarious, and goes with the flow. She made the whole process as easy and transplarent as possible, communicated via text (which was super easy compared to other vendors), was very accessible and flexible with my hectic schedule (especially considering I planned my wedding from a far). She also worked really well with my photographer and other vendors which was amazing. I truly cannot speak more highly of Sarah and her team. They all felt like part of the bridal party as we were getting ready and I wish they could have come to the wedding WITH us! I had so much fun with the trial and, what's even more important... Sarah made every single one of my girls (including my non-makeup wearing mother, and my makeup allergic mother-in-law) feel the most beautiful they've ever felt. My mother-in-law had natural looking lashes put on and she could not believe how amazing and natural she looked... Same story with my very conservative mother. She didn't want to look like a "clown" or a you-know-what, and we truly all just looked like enhanced versions of ourselves. That airbrush is a MIRACLE worker if you want to look flawless on your wedding day! I wish I could attach pictures to this review, because it was seriously the best decision I made. I felt gorgeous on the most photographed day of my life and we had the best time getting ready. BOOK SARAH and Making You Glow FAST, you will NOT regret it!!! I can't wait for one of my friends to get married now so they can book her and I can get my hair and makeup done as a bridesmaid! Haha!

Sarah was absolutely amazing beginning to end. Not only is she extremely professional but super approachable with her down to earth personality. She's incredibly talented! She was great with helping to calm my excited nerves on the day of my wedding too. I've worked with many make up artist and hairstylist over the years and I have to say how impressed I was with her. One person canceled on me and then I had some communication issues with another girl and it became apparent she just wasn't a reliable choice. I was referred to Making You Glow by a friend of mine. Already being booked for another event that day, Sarah was able to make it work and fit me in for the day! Lani did hair and makeup for myself, my mom and my mother-in-law.
