MALA Photography can provide you with wedding day coverage and portraiture, as well as an engagement session, boudoir session, and trash-the-dress session. Mary can capture the special moments of your rehearsals and wedding day in timeless images. Additionally, she can travel to a destination wedding, whether in New York or Alaska.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Mary! She was professional, personable, and brought such a fun energy to our wedding day. She made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera, capturing every special moment so effortlessly. Not only did she take stunning photos, but she also kept us laughing the entire time, making the experience even more enjoyable. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to truly capture the essence of our day was beyond what we could have hoped for. Having Mary capture our special day was the best decision we made! Mary was so much fun to work with and so easy going. Every shot I could dream up she made a reality. All our guests enjoyed her too and got so many amazing candid shorts of all our guest. We couldn't have imagined the day without her.

MALA Photography is AMAZING! Mary has a way of making everyone feel at ease, and therefore she is able to capture the true essence of people through her camera lens. Her photos do not come across as staged / canned photos...they reflect genuine and beautiful human moments captured in time. Mary feels like family from the moment you meet her, and she works her magic through her photographic art. No matter the environment, Mary is capable of bringing the best out of both her subjects as well as her backdrops. Worried about weather being an issue impacting your photos? Maybe a hot day where sweating is inevitable? No worries. Clearly weather is no trouble for Mary...as you cannot even tell in our family photos that it was a sweltering and humid 90+ degree day when we had them done. Even our dog and daughter look happy to be there! I would not hesitate to hire Mary and MALA photography for any of your photographic needs...she is worth every penny and more. I highly recommend her and her talents.

Working with Mary was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning process. Not only did she take beautiful pictures, but she told a story of our day. Mary captured each emotion and all the moments we shared big and small. It was so fun to see photos of little moments we didn’t even know were happening! She brought out the best in our friends and family. While weddings can be stressful and taking pictures can feel unnatural, Mary made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. We always felt like we could turn to her for reassurance and many laughs. Not only is every photo more stunning than the next, but they will always evoke the joy and love of our celebration. We are so grateful to have all of these pictures to look back at and a new friend!

Mary absolutely rocked it at our destination wedding! The smiles and laughs she captured in our photos are some of the most genuine we've ever seen. She has a real talent for connecting with everyone and making sure they have a great time during the entire experience. I cannot recommend MALA Photography enough to capture your once-in-a-lifetime memories!

Mary is a literal angel. I am so thankful she captured my wedding day. She is not only the sweetest & kindest person, but she also takes AMAZING photos! Your wedding day can be chaotic but she makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. If you are in need of a wedding photographer, Mary if your girl. PS.. she makes the best jokes during a laughing candid ;)

I started my working relationship with Mary when I hired her for my wedding. Shortly after I became a full time wedding planner out on the East End of Long Island. Mary is kind, professional, full of life, and will always find ways to make you smile. She covers all your important photos on the list, she pays attention to your family members and she catches sweet moments you didn’t know you even had. Hiring Mary was the best decision I made and continuing to hire her for my couples has been a home run!
