Malaika Khan Productions is a wedding photography and cinematography team focused on capturing celebrations as they truly feel.
We specialize in South Asian and multicultural weddings, and we know there’s so much more to documenting them than just showing up with a camera. It’s understanding the traditions, the families, the little moments happening in between, and the energy that makes every wedding different.
Our approach is a mix of candid storytelling and intentional, editorial imagery. We’ll guide you when you need it, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and step back when a moment is better left to unfold naturally.
At the end of it all, we want you to look through your photos and films and genuinely feel like you’re back in that moment—not just remember what it looked like.
Based in New Jersey and New York, and always happy to travel wherever your story takes us.

Hi, I’m Malaika! I’m the founder and lead creative behind Malaika Khan Productions. I’m a photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller at heart, and I genuinely love getting to know my couples and the people who matter most to them.
My favorite part of what I do is capturing all the moments that make a wedding feel like yours—from the big, beautiful moments to the little ones you may not even realize are happening. I’ll be there to guide you when you need it, hype you up when the camera comes out, and make sure you can actually be present and enjoy your day.
At the end of it all, I want your photos and films to feel like you and bring you right back every time you look at them.
