Malak Jewelers‘ recently remodeled and expanded store is absolutely gorgeous – brightly lit and the perfect place to pick out an engagement ring! There is a very large selection of high quality diamond rings and settings to choose from. But what really sets them apart is their level of customer service! Everybody in the store is helpful, polite, and never pushy at all! Our family has made several purchases there through the years and we have always felt that we’ve gotten exceptional items at very reasonable prices. It is a family-owned business and you can tell that everybody at the store wants every customer to leave there happy! It's hard to find a legitimate business with so many big brand stores around. You are bombarded with advertising from every direction, especially around the holidays. I was ready to pop the question but I wanted to somehow secure my investment and get some sort of guarantee that I was buying the best possible ring. So I did my homework like everyone does in the 21st century and looked up local jewelry stores online. I compared Malak Jewelers to other big stores and I was surprised to find the beautiful things that their customers had to say. With little time, I decided to go have a look (they were the highest rated jewelry store I found online). I didn't expect to walk into such a gorgeous store. I've driven by several local stores that looked a little run down and I've seen how beautiful big brand stores are but there is no comparison. As of today, there is only one Malak Jewelers and it is stunning. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store and I sat down with the owner, Asaad! Every now and then I'd talk to Sam too. They were both very kind and this was apparent to me before they brought out the yummy wine ;). I already had an idea what my girlfriend (now fiancée) wanted and I knew a little about diamonds but boy was it a pleasant learning experience. I'm a bit of a nerd so I loved playing with the microscope and learning all sorts of things about diamonds. If I had a question, and I had millions, they answered it effortlessly. They truly know their stuff. Once I picked the diamond, we started looking at the settings. My fiancée wanted a solitaire so that part was pretty easy. They recommended white gold as opposed to platinum because of how easy and risk-free it would be to upgrade and I knew that would be an option later on. Platinum is more expensive but the other downside is that its melting point is higher and you run the risk of burning the diamond in case you wanted to do something else with the ring.That would've been an easy upsell but they chose to be honest instead! This is getting too long and I'm afraid I lost you, reader, at some point. So to sum it all up: I got the ring, picked it up the next day, got a lot of different complimentary services that I don't recall including an appraisal (they are probably on their website), and my fiancée loved the ring. Success. Will go back for the next purchase for sure. These guys are MY jewelers.

Wedding Rings were custom made here for my wife. They did a beautiful job. 8 Years later they value their work and help to repair her engagement ring after the prong was damaged. I will continue to do business with them. They are trusted jewelers.

I have been searching for a wedding ring and this is by far the absolute best jewelry store I found. My search has taken me from Alabama to Georgia to Florida and lastly to North Carolina. I wanted to find a beautiful diamond that I thought would properly represent the life-long love and commitment I have for my fiancée. First, I was so impressed with the quality of the diamonds that Mr. Malak hand selected! The equivalent ring, setting, and sizing cost at least $2,000 dollars more at other jewelry stores. Furthermore, the customer service was the best I have received. He didn't push his agenda; he simply brought out whatever I requested and sat back while I made up my mind. I loved his technique of first finding the setting and then your favorite diamonds before ever talking price. When I had it down to two choices and he told me the prices I was in disbelief; it was thousands of dollars less than I had become accustomed to being presented at other jewelry stores. Again, the diamonds are better than all other jewelry stores I have visited. Even if you have to come from out of state, as I have, I highly recommend you go.

Doing business at Malak's from the moment I walked in the door being greeted by Mr. Malak himself and Sam I knew it was going to be a unique experience to any other jewelry store in the Charlotte area, and trust me I've been to all of them. I had brought in a engagement ring I had already purchased and Sam had appraised it at no cost to me. After completing the appraisal I had asked Sam to show me various pieces in their show case which has caught my eye while waiting. It became apparent that Sam and Mr. Malak were not salesman, but jewelers that understood the intricate details that went into selecting the perfect diamond and placing it in the perfect setting. The next day I had returned to Malak's having already returned my previous purchase and in turn bought a much bigger, higher quality center stone diamond and setting for a fraction of the price. This is a family own and ran store so the mark ups are almost nonexistant compared to other stores. Needless to say Malak's will remain my #1 jeweler choice for years to come, also who can beat 12 months interest free financing, free sizing, repairing, and cleaning for life. Also, I had inquired about insurance on the engagement ring I had purchased, and they work closely with an insurance company that sent me a quote by the next day.
