1) I'm a proud and dedicate wife and stepmom.
2) I'm a huge dog person who has a huge dog - a 203lb Great Dane.
3) Halloween is my favorite holiday and I own one of those 12ft skeletons. My own engagement party was Halloween themed.
4) My favorite color is magenta, hence, my branding colors.
5) My guilty pleasure is watching Bravo.

I can’t begin to explain how wonderful it was working with Mali. She was the best investment I made for my wedding. From our first call to see if we would be a good fit, I knew immediately that Mali understood my Type A self and exactly how to assist me leading up to my wedding as well as on my wedding day. She was so detailed, organized, and communicative. You can tell she is not only passionate about her work, but she’s brilliant at it. I had gotten all my vendors organized for the most party so Mali really helped bring my vision to life, introduce me to additional vendors, and keep me honest in what would be worth while or not. I appreciate honesty and I was super appreciative that Mali would always provide her honest opinion when asked. There truly isn’t enough good things to say about Mali. Over the 8 months we worked together, she was just as passionate about my wedding day as I was and helped make the experience so much fun to plan. She always kept me organized and on track with timelines and due dates. When it came time for the actual wedding month, I was so stress free because everything was on track or ahead of schedule in terms of planning so there really wasn’t too much for us to do. My wedding week I slept well, was calm and very excited knowing Mali was on top of everything and any communication needed, she would make sure I was involved without it being a stressor. Even my family expressed how grateful they were that we had Mali to help run the show because it helped make our evening more present and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a wedding planning in the New England area, I would encourage everyone to reach out to Mali, it truly will be the best decision you make.

We hired Mali for our fall 2025 wedding at the cliff house and she was easily the best decision we made! She has had multiple weddings there and was a huge asset in helping us contact the venue and think through our vision and it coming to life there, including logistical considerations.
We selected her partial planing option but she went way above and beyond what we could’ve expected. She was always around for questions and suggestions throughout the whole process. She is easy to work with, super organized and her planning drive was a great tool that kept us in check. In the time leading up to the wedding she helped us curate our vision, ensure we were on track, review contracts, helped set timelines and ensure our family and friends knew the plan and where they had to be and so much more. Day of she wore multiple hats - corralling friends , taking photographs, setting up the ballroom, ensuring all the details were perfect and aligned our vision, coordinating with vendors, prepping my outfit change, moving supplies around etc. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! She was there for everything we needed and we were able to just enjoy our day.
We were thrilled that our family and friends also were able to enjoy and didn’t have to worry about setting up or breaking things down. Everyone appreciated her kindness, her patience and her clear communication. We can’t recommend Mali enough for any or all your wedding planning needs!

I don’t even know where to start when it comes to Mali — she was truly everything I didn’t even know I (and my dad lol) needed on my wedding day. From the moment she arrived, she brought this calm, grounding energy that instantly made me feel like everything was under control. In the midst of all the chaos, she somehow found a quiet moment just for the two of us to do a little “pulse check.” It was such a simple thing, but it completely centered me and helped me take in what was happening around me. That moment will forever stick with me.
In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was so on top of every tiny detail — asking questions during Zoom calls with our DJ and florist that I never would have thought to ask. She thought of everything before I even had a chance to worry about it. On the day itself, she was professional, poised, and so capable — she somehow managed to handle wedding crashers at our reception so quickly that almost no one even noticed!
Mali was the calm in the storm, the steady hand guiding the entire day, and the reason I got to be fully present and just enjoy every moment. She truly makes it happen! 💛
P.S. she’ll save you from the wind taking your veil and completely wrapping it around you and your dad JUST as you start to walk down the aisle (without even knowing she’s behind you) 😂

Working with Mali was a game changer for our wedding day! When we started working together, she outlined our priorities and helped make sure we were kept on track by giving us tasks each week. It was a huge help for us to know what we needed to work on, and when. She also handled all vendor conversations leading up to the wedding and it totally streamlined everything - and everyone loved working with her!
On the day of, she made sure everything ran smoothly and that we didn't have to think of anything other than having the best day. I never had to worry about anything on our wedding day, and it truly changed everything. She was organized, professional, and also made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire day. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a planner to ensure the day goes perfectly!

Hiring Mali was one of the best wedding decisions we made. We got engaged in December 2023, found Mali around February, and got married in September 2024. We didn't even know where to start when we first met with her. She kept us on track and organized, and gave us "homework" in between meetings that had us checking things off the list right and left! Many people thought we were crazy for not taking longer to plan the wedding - but we had Mali in our corner, and she certainly Made It Happen! Our guests are still raving about it!

Exceptionally professional and committed. Mali clearly takes pride in her work and went the extra mile for us more than once. My wife and I are both very busy and she was extremely helpful in keeping us on task and to timeline. It may have been our wedding, but she was the MVP in getting us across the goal line.

Several months leads up to our wedding we thought we would not need a planner, but we were very wrong. As we got overwhelmed we started researching and thank god we did. Brad and I LOVED everything about working with Mali. We could not have gotten through our wedding planning if it wasn’t for her. She is very organized, professional and a wonderful support. Her passion and personality for what she does shines right through. After our wedding we had messages from loved ones about how awesome she was and how they could connect! She made a lasting impression and we will forever be grateful for her.

The day after we got engaged, my fiancé said “We need a wedding planner!” And my response (foolishly) was “for what?!”. I am a project manager by trade, and I was confident that the wedding I’ve been dreaming of for so long was already planned in my head and would be just like any other project. A few months in, I realized that this was a space I was just not familiar with and we needed help. We got a recommendation from another couple that recently used Mali’s services, met with her and immediately knew she was the right person for the job. Her personality is uplifting and easy to get along with!
We signed on for Day of Coordination since a lot of our vendor selections were completed. Once we got started, Mali really hit the ground running. It was clear very quickly that she knew how to take the vision we had in our heads, what we needed to do with who and when, really elevated a LOT of stress that had been building for us. I think my only regret, is having not signed on for full Planning Services earlier in the process! Mali coordinated with all of our vendors, made sure we were on track with all the little and big tasks that we needed to complete when they needed to be completed so that we weren’t scrambling towards the finish line. Her knowledge and professionalism during this whole process is unmatched and worth every penny.
I am so grateful for everything she provided to make sure our wedding day was an absolute dream. 10/10 recommend, you will not be disappointed.

We don’t have enough words to say how amazing Mali was for our wedding at Cliff House in Cape Neddick Maine. She was the best investment we made for our wedding. There was so many things that she took care of that we would never have even thought of (and didn’t have to!) Down to helping me get a stain out of my dress, keeping me calm the entire day by giving me private time with my fiance, keeping all of the guests informed, assisting with photos, she truly is amazing at what she does. Hire Mali if you want to have a stress free wedding day and just a great person to work with!!! We love you Mali!

Would give 6 stars if possible! Handled countless moving pieces with grace, all while being as personable and professional as one could ask. At no point was I stressed about the logistics given Mali's meticulous preparation and attentiveness during the day-of festivities. Look no further!

If you are looking for an organized, professional, incredibly kind and dedicated wedding planner - look no further! Mali went above and beyond all expectations we had for a planner. Her calm and collected demeanor during the planning process and on our wedding day made what should be a very stressful time the most enjoyable! She asks all the right questions and has all the right answers. She feels like a close friend while exhibiting the most professional behavior. I would recommend Mali 10 times over to anyone! You absolutely need to book with Mali. We feel so lucky we did. She had been recommended to us by the wedding venue, and from the first meeting I had with her, I knew she was going to be the perfect wedding planner. She was extremely personable, and right away showed genuine interest in learning how she could make the wedding day perfect. From the moment we booked her she was incredible and went above and beyond for us. For example she checked in with us prior to the agreed upon, 8 week wedding planning booking, was available at basically all hours of the day via text and call and was very quick to respond, and on the day of, helped move everything along- even advising on how to resolve difficult family situations, which was unbelievably helpful. Throughout the whole process not only was Mali extremely detail oriented, and unbiased (which was also incredibly impressive) but she was also extremely personable and caring! I really felt like she treated me as if it was her own wedding, which was extremely special. Mali is so kind and very easy to get along with! All my vendors loved her! I really feel that you would be lucky to work with her, and guarantee you that her keen attention to detail combined with her peasant nature will make a huge difference, in guaranteeing your wedding day is everything you ever wished for, and more :)

We could not recommend Mali enough! She was the lead coordinator the day of our wedding and the day could not have been more perfect. Mali participated in all the vendor calls leading up to the day, thought of things we hadn't thought of and managed to execute the exact vision we were looking for on our wedding day. On the day of, during setup, Mali noticed some potential some changes to decor or timelines that might work better than was originally planned such as the favor display. She checked in with us on these things to make sure we were okay with them and her suggestions ended up being even better than the original plan. We didn't need to lift a finger the whole day and just got to enjoy everything from beginning to end. It was absolutely perfect and this could not have happened without Mali!

Planning a wedding is VERY stressful. We are so happy that we found Mali and she had our day available. Mali was extremely professional and extremely organized. She communicated with us often and set up weekly meetings to keep us on track. She also communicated with the vendors, family, and wedding party to make sure everyone stuck to the schedule she laid out. She also had options for rentals that helped us save money, as we had the wedding at our home. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone getting married!!

I think Emily is an excellent, organized, and creative planner. She really takes the time to understand what your vision is and then continues to solicit feedback from you to make sure your vision becomes a reality. She also is a very good communicator and updates you and asks questions as you go along because she really cares about her clients. Finally, Emily has a lot of heart and passion for her work and it's very clear in the way she works with you. She really goes the extra mile for her clients and makes sure they are satisfied with anything before it gets finalized. She also takes care of so much of the nitty gritty that the client doesn't want to deal with. She really makes the event planning process a breeze.
I think anyone that works with Mali Makes It Happen is going to be glad to have worked with her, especially when they see what she can do and how much she is committed to her clients.
