What impressed me most was her ability to handle both the grand vision and the unexpected emergencies with equal grace. The wedding weekend involved coordinating family, guests arriving from around the country, multiple events, and countless moving parts. Somehow she made everything look effortless. One moment, in particular, perfectly captures who she is. Just before the ceremony, I was getting dressed in my late mother's gown, which I had carefully chosen to honor her memory. As I removed the dress from the hanger, the zipper suddenly broke. I thought I might not be able to wear it at all. Without missing a beat, Mali stepped in. Calmly, confidently, and with remarkable ingenuity, she literally pinned me into the dress so beautifully and securely that no one would ever have known there had been a problem. What could have become a stressful, emotional disaster became simply another example of her professionalism and kindness. Throughout the entire weekend she anticipated needs before anyone voiced them, solved problems before they became visible, and allowed our family to be fully present for every special moment. Instead of worrying about logistics, we were able to focus on celebrating Spencer and James and creating memories that will last a lifetime. o use a wedding planner at all. Our venue required one, and at first we were honestly a little frustrated because we thought we could handle everything ourselves. Looking back now, I truly can’t imagine how much of a disaster our wedding day could have been without Mali. From the start, she was incredibly organized and supportive. She met with us multiple times, kept us on track, and created detailed to-do lists that made the entire planning process feel manageable. There were so many little details and logistical things we would have never even thought about that Mali caught ahead of time and solved before they could become problems. Leading up to the wedding, she created detailed schedules for the entire day—not just for us, but also for our officiant and family members. She coordinated with all of our vendors to make sure they had everything they needed for our venue and that everyone was on the same page. On the wedding day itself, Mali went above and beyond. She set up our tables, menus, and welcome table, assembled our cupcake tower beautifully, and made sure everything looked perfect. She stayed the entire night and even handled cleanup at the end, which allowed us to fully enjoy the celebration without worrying about a single thing. I’m sure there were also countless things she handled behind the scenes that we never even knew about—and that’s exactly what makes a great coordinator. ediately that Mali understood my Type A self and exactly how to assist me leading up to my wedding as well as on my wedding day. She was so detailed, organized, and communicative. You can tell she is not only passionate about her work, but she’s brilliant at it. I had gotten all my vendors organized for the most party so Mali really helped bring my vision to life, introduce me to additional vendors, and keep me honest in what would be worth while or not. I appreciate honesty and I was super appreciative that Mali would always provide her honest opinion when asked. There truly isn’t enough good things to say about Mali. Over the 8 months we worked together, she was just as passionate about my wedding day as I was and helped make the experience so much fun to plan. She always kept me organized and on track with timelines and due dates. When it came time for the actual wedding month, I was so stress free because everything was on track or ahead of schedule in terms of planning so there really wasn’t too much for us to do. My wedding week I slept well, was calm and very excited knowing Mali was on top of everything and any communication needed, she would make sure I was involved without it being a stressor. Even my family expressed how grateful they were that we had Mali to help run the show because it helped make our evening more present and enjoyable.
