~60-person wedding on my husband's father's property, and it was perfect, but nothing in the timeline went as planned. My maid of honor was in a bad car accident (uninjured, though) on her way to the venue. I waited with my mom and another bridesmaid on the side of the road with her while she waited for her car to be towed, and called Malorie explaining the whole thing about 15 minutes before she was supposed to be at the venue. She was a doll about the whole thing, told us to take our time, she'd get venue shots, and we'd figure it out from there. We arrived at the venue about an hour before the wedding was supposed to start and about an hour and a half after we'd planned to. Malorie was so sweet and patient (as was her second shooter!), told me to go do touch-ups and get in my dress, and she'd do detail shots. She had already gotten photos of the groom/groomsmen and the venue. From there, she helped coordinate what to do when on our new timeline, and we did my first looks, bridesmaid, and full bridal party shots, and were onto the ceremony only 45 minutes later than planned. :) She managed to get through family photos pretty quickly (appreciated, since the delay meant we were bumping up against dinner), and got fantastic sunset pictures of my husband and I, plus tons of candids from the reception. I'd offered to pay her to stay a little longer, but she'd gotten all the pictures we'd wanted (and more) but the time her original coverage window was up. She was a total pro in a pretty chaotic setting, and we're obsessed with the photos we have from our special day. Malorie is fantastic, and I'd absolutely hire her in the future!

her amazing artistry is her beautiful personality. It rained on my wedding day and she was an absolute trooper! I was so nervous how the photos would turn out with the rain and wind. She prioritized getting photos done rather than staying on time and looking back I'm so grateful for because I have more photos. I would have spent more time taking photos if I could. tographer was someone who we'd enjoy spending the day with. It is very true that your photographer can make or break your big day, and Malorie and Colin definitely helped to make our day wonderful. They are both very down to earth and have a nice calming presence. You can tell right away that Malorie has a great eye for capturing the perfect moment; she does an amazing job using natural light as well as ordinary surroundings and turning them into extraordinary photos. We couldn't be happier with how our pictures turned out and would definitely recommend Malorie to anyone looking for a photographer for their important moments in life!
