Mama Lamees

Mama Lamees is a wedding caterer based out of San Francisco, CA that specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine. Having grown up in Kuwait with Palestinian roots, owner Lamees Dahbour has been learning recipes from her mother’s kitchen since she was 10 years old. Today, she delights in recreating authentic tastes from her childhood and sharing them with members of her community as they celebrate milestone events. When she’s not combining delicious flavors in the kitchen, Chef Lamees works as an employee of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency. This has resulted in her living in and experiencing various cultures and cuisines throughout the Middle East, all of which influence her dishes. Chef Lamees puts love into each meal she prepares and delights in continuing to develop her talent through her business. As a single mother and survivor of domestic violence, she has taught her children to preserve no matter how difficult the circumstances. In the future, she hopes to pass the business down to them. Mama Lamees offers various packages for couples to avail of on their special days. Mouthwatering appetizers like baba ganoush and Khubz Arabi, or pita bread, can be prepared for you to share with guests after you say “I do.” Entrées including succulent beef, roasted chicken, and delectable lentils are all seasoned with Middle Eastern spices and can be served with steamy basmati rice. As a sweet conclusion to your meal, pistachio and walnut baklava are available for dessert. À la carte options such as falafel wraps, lamb racks, and more can also be added to your order.
