Mama Stortini's Restaurant & Bar

We had Mama Stortini's cater our wedding at the end of June 2022. We went with a buffet package for about ~130 people and had them serve the alcohol we purchased for the day. We also went through them for our place settings and table cloths. The team showed up around 1:30 PM for a 4:00 PM wedding start time, with appetizers and cocktail hour starting around 4:30 PM. They did a great job of getting all the tables set up in a timely manner and were helpful to the friends and family who were setting up things for us. During the event all the staff were super helpful and kind. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it. We highly recommend Mama Stortini’s for any kind of catering event.

The wedding venue we had for our wedding highly recommended Mama Stortini's and we were a little skeptical since they are located 30+ minutes away from our venue and we didn't want cold food! But they came through and the food was wonderful. There was plenty of leftovers that our guests and we were able to take home with us. Love me some Italian food! And the service was unbeatable. Thank you!! : )

Mama Stortini's was Highly Recommeded to us by Friends and Family and when we got Engaged, we just knew we wanted them to cater our Wedding. After working with Meryl last year to plan the Event, We unfortunately had to postpone using them until we could have our Reception this year. Meryl, Jade and the rest of the team was super easy to coordinate with in getting the Event Rescheduled. Thanks to Mama Stortini's amazing crew, dinner was perfect and the food was delicious! They really handled everything from setting things up to cleaning up and making sure everyone had what they needed throughout the evening as well. The whole staff was personable and professional and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a fabulous catering team!

1st off, Meryl was incredible and working with her was a pleasure. Leading up to the wedding, she handled everything and was so easy to work with to plan around our budget while providing great food and better service. Her team handled 100% of the serving (food and bar) day of and our guests LOVED the bartenders and staff. I could not recommend Meryl and team enough for any event you are planning. We knew the food and bar were in great hands and did not worry about a thing day of.

Absolutely recommend using Mama Stortini's catering! Not only is their food AMAZING but their catering is even better. My husband and I used them for our wedding and worked with Meryl. She was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was so great at giving us advice, answering my millions of questions and they delivered everything so perfectly. Our wedding guests couldn't stop talking about how good all the food options were. The staff members were serving with a smile and were all very professional. The bartender we had was pouring the drinks perfectly too. Thank you Mama's!!

Mama Stortini's catered my wedding roughly a year ago, and I couldn't ask for a more perfect caterer. They were on time, everything looked and tasted amazing. I couldn't have found anyone more perfect. They always responded promptly to emails, and answered my million questions. The little sign they gifted my husband and I is our absolute favorite and will forever be displayed in our home. Thank you mama stortini's for being so amazing!

Such good food! The staff was amazing and really helped keep people happy by keeping the food warm and the drinks coming (responsibly of course). Meryl and staff were so helpful and made or wedding vision a reality. My husband and I will totally dine in their restaurants as we reminisce about our wedding day!

We used Mama Stortini's Catering for our wedding and could not have been happier with how everything turned out! Meryl was extremely accommodating in the planning process and always quick to respond to my multiple emails/questions. She met up with me multiple times in person to make sure everything was how I wanted it to be. Everything was excellent the day of our wedding and we received multiple compliments on the food. We thoroughly enjoyed having Mama Stortini's cater our wedding! The food was delicious and all of our guests thought so too! We got so many compliments on the food. There were several sauce and meat toppings the guests could choose from which is nice. They bring a menu to be placed on the table for the guests to see. The caterers were all very nice and showed/cleaned up in a timely manner. They made sure they were on the same page with what our needs were before the wedding and plans were reviewed so that the day of I barely noticed they were there. I did not speak with anyone which was nice. I did not have to answer any questions while they were there, they just knew. We did not have a cake to be cut, but had cupcakes to be served and placed out when it was time, and they did that no problem. They provided aluminum tins for us to take leftovers home (which was nice because family got to enjoy the food the next day also). I think my favorite sauce is the alfredo, and I am very particular about my alfredo. It has a rich, creamy flavor. Also pretty affordable! They offer other services like linens, bartending, and dinnerware, but we did not choose that route. Thanks so much Mama Stortini's! We will be coming back when we are in the area :)

Mama Stortini’s made catering easy. The food and service were a great value. We received many compliments about how delicious the hors d'oeuvres and pasta buffet were. They seemed very attentive and provided free cake cutting service. They made special arrangements for the groom and a couple of guests who had dietary restrictions. We were able to rent cloth napkins and china through them at a lower cost, which helped us easily cross one more thing off our to-do list.

One of our first dates was at Mama Stortinis so this felt like a great fit to begin with. Everyone loved the food, the staff were on time and really helpful - they even cut our cake which I wasn’t expecting them to do. The food selection was great and the price was the best we came across for the selection and quality.

We choose Mama Storinis for their amazing food! What we got was so much more then we bargained for! The food was amazing as to be expected, and our guest complimented it all night long! In addition to the food Jade and her team also help you pick out all the linens and they set up all the tables! The team also served as our bar tenders and they cleared dishes! They were amazing! With Mama Stortinis you don’t have to worry about a thing! They’ve got you covered!

I highly recommend Mama Stortini's for wedding catering. They were easy to work with, they provided lots of options, and everyone loved the food. Also, they gave us a gift at the end of the night. Really great caterer!

We used Mama Stortinis as the caterer for our wedding but they did much more than just catering! They were an amazing one stop shop for rentals (linens, china, glassware, chargers, chandelier, food, desserts, drinks, bartender and bar) and brought support staff that helped my set up crew of friends and family and did an amazing job assisting with the flow of the reception. Stortinis had worked with Events on 6th (wedding venue) before and knew the place well. With Mama Stortinis and my own set up crew the day ran beautifully without a single hitch!! Getting to go to the rental place and pick out all the rentals and set up an example table was such a wonderful service and made it fun! Also getting to go to the restaurant for the food tasting and picking out which dishes was wonderful. Our guest enjoyed the food and desserts! And Stortinis set up and ran our bar with one of their bartenders. Even had several people who helped with the table set ups and keeping water glasses full and clearing up plates. They went above and beyond and even made us a cute wooden decor sign with our initials and wedding date inside a heart which we now keep in our house. Pleasantly surprised at there above-and-beyond professionalism and quality service. Would not have been able to do the wedding without them! Highly recommend!!!

The food was AMAZING. We kept getting bounced back and forth between Jade and Meryl who seemed to tell us 2 different things at times. The day of the wedding they forgot to put out the chargers that were suppose to go under the China. But, they were very professional. They were always super helpful and nice. And they had everything ready to go on time so there was no waiting around for them to finish up before we could start eating. I would definitely recommend them.

Meryl at mamma stortinis is awesome, she responded quickly and was very helpful! We did have a mishap with some of our linens and Meryl quickly refunded us and we received an additional gift card to mamma stortinis . The food and drinks were delicious!

Mama Stortini’s (more specifically Elise) was AWESOME to work with. Elise made the whole process easy and stress free. The tasting was amazing with great options. We personally have never ate at a Mama Stortini’s restaurant before the wedding and we definitely will in the future. It was easy to call and notify of changes in regards to guest count, etc. Then a quick trip to figure out plating and what not with Elise was simple ( if you’re unsure, Elise will be able to give you advice and her thoughts). On the wedding day, traffic was BAD and our location (Seattle Waterfront) was sure to be very busy and packed. But don’t fret! Even with some I-5 lanes closed on a sunny Saturday afternoon, Mama Stortini’s arrived well ahead of time to ensure they were early! The food, delicious. The service, amazing. The staff, very friendly and professional. And Elise, AWESOME. And price point definitely reasonable. Thank you Elise for being awesome. Anyone who chooses to work with Elise will NOT be disappointed.

I could not have been happier with Mama Stortini's catering. Meryl and Jade were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. My every need and detail was met beyond my expectations. Our guests raved about the food and service. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend Mama Stortini's to anyone for any event.

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Mama Stortinis on our wedding food. We worked with Meryl and she was really good at responding and getting our pricing questions answered so that we could make the best decisions. The main reason why we went with this catering company is because it’s a preferred caterer with our venue. All of our guests seemed to really enjoy the food and we heard from so many people that it was delicious! As a bride, I was constantly balancing ways to save money and having the stress off of my shoulders. A few things that we did that helped with our catering budget was we purchased our own table linens. I’ll be completely honest – it’s actually cheaper to buy all of your linens and throw them away then it is to rent them. We decided to purchase crinkled tablecloths so we wouldn’t have to press them and they looked really lovely. We also purchased our own sparkling cider for toasts (we had a dry wedding) this saved us so much money because the cost to have the catering company provide this was $2.00/person while I got every bottle of cider for around that price. The only frustration that I had was in regards to drinks. We paid to have Mama Stortinis provide water/lemonade/coffee during our event but we were told a few days before that we should bring bottled water. I was under the impression that we shouldn’t have to deal with any drinks other than the cider but I guess they only have a certain amount per guest that they will supply for so if you are getting married on a really hot day, expect to get told to bring bottled water. Other than that we had a lovely experience with this caterer and we would totally use them again!

Mama Stortini's was responsible for catering and drink service at our wedding. With this, they coordinated and provided linens, place settings (china/silverware/napkin rings), appetizers, dinner buffet, and full bar service (purchasing and serving the drinks). They had a well organized process for managing all of these different aspects and were flexible on making changes throughout the as our plans changed. They were flexible on our requested arrival time, arriving earlier than they initially planned, with an adequate amount of staff. They diligent throughout the night on refreshing the buffet and clearing tables. They even had some special touches we weren't expecting including helping set up the dessert table (provided by a different vendor), bringing a custom wood sign with our initials and wedding date for the bar, and using Chafers that perfectly matched our theme. Overall, we and our guests were very satisfied with the service and food and would be happy to recommend them for a similar event.

We used Mama Stortini's as our wedding caterer and couldn't be more pleased with the results! They were incredibly professional and took the time to help us make even the smallest of decisions leading up to our wedding! Our guests were talking about the food for weeks after the wedding which was music to our ears! If you're looking for a full service catering company with professional staff give them a call!

We love Mama Stortini's! They were the perfect choice for our wedding! The food was awesome, we are still getting compliments from our guests that it was some of the best food they've had at a wedding! The whole process of working with them from tastings, to linens, to finalizing numbers was super easy. We worked a lot with Jade in their catering office and she is so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! We had our rehearsal dinner in the banquet room also and the staff at that event and our wedding were nothing short of amazing! Our bar tender personally made sure mine and my husband's glasses were always full. I would work with them again any day!

Book Mama Stortinis Catering NOW!!! We had such incredible service from their entire team! They answered all of our questions in the planning stage, and were absolutely incredible on our wedding day. They were on time, professional, and worked their butts off! It was so wonderful to book their catering services, and to also rent plates/flatware/glasses and linens from them! It was super easy as they brought it to the venue and cleaned-up and took it all away after our event! Meryl, their Catering Director was so fantastic to work with! You won't regret selecting them as your caterer! :)

Jade and Meryl, of Mama Stortini's, were so awesome! Meryl really helped me to make our menu perfect! All of our guests keep talking about out delicious our food was from our wedding. Not only did Meryl help with our menu, but since we didn't have a planner she took over all of the rental coordination since we did our wedding at a private residence. Without her I would not have had the right rentals ordered. And Jade was great too! She handled all the catering coordinating the day of. She did so well with handling 300 guests! One of the things I was very grateful for was that she served us up food at the start of the buffet, which enabled us to eat a little bit. If we had to serve ourselves up there's no way we would have been able to eat. They did so awesome!

My husband and I love to visit Mama's for dinner on occasion and when we picked our venue and they were one of the suggested caterers we knew there was no doubt who we were going to pick! The food was amazing (people are still talking about it), the staff took great care of all of our guests and the highlight for everyone seemed to be our Italian Soda Bar!

We enjoyed talking with staff and planning out our wedding menu. We had quite a few food allergies to work around, but they were very helpful in mixing the buffet option with plated meals.
