Our customer service experience up to the day of the wedding was excellent. However, the execution on our wedding day was horrible. Out of all of our vendors, M&M was the last that we expected to drop the ball. They showed up without the fo...g we had requested and payed for. My husband was able to catch the error and the machine was delivered. However, it did not matter considering he forgot to start it before our first dance. The most upsetting of all his catastrophes was the fact that he played the wrong song for our first dance. We paid over $200 to have a dance coreographed to that specific version. We were announced and walked out to the dance floor only to realize that an instrumental version was playing. We stood for a minute looking and then tried to start Dancing. We could not execute our dance considering the timing and beats were completely different. The fog was supposed to begin as we walked out to dance and did not. Our wedding party had purple glow sticks which made absolutely no since to anyone considering no one knew what we were dancing too. It was so painful I asked my husband to just dip me to end the song, which was the DJ's cue to stop the song and begin the next. I dipped and looked at the DJ who was not paying any attention because he was messing with the fog machine. We swayed for a moment awkwardly and then just stopped and stared at him to begin the next song, which he also screwed up. The lazers were to begin at that point, but he had started them when he arrived. Further, he played our exit song earlier in the night. We requested 3 line dances of which he only played 1. I called and spoke to The company about the situation that following Monday. I requested at the LEAST that our $ be returned since we did not get the fog that we payed for. When we arrived from our honeymoon the check was in the mail in an envelope with no note. What we really wanted was an apology and at least an acknowledgment that t he DJ messed up and will try to avoid ruining someone else's first dance, exit, and wedding music experience in general. As I stated, up to the wedding I appreciated the excellent customer service. But was extremely disappointed about the service we received thereafter, including the check with no note or phone call as promised. After I filled out their customer survey, we did receive a genuine apologetic phone call from the company along with a letter and gift card for dinner. We appreciated their acknowledgment. If you do decide to use M&M, insist on meeting the DJ before the wedding day! Which is not their usual practice.
