Mike is great to work with. He was great at communicating, even when a frazzled bride to be wasn't great at replying back. I completely forgot to make any song requests leading up to the wedding, and he was super flexible say of when we came to him with changes or requests. I can' recommend him enough.

Our planning process with Mike was great and we appreciated his willingness to take our input using his online portal and a few phone calls with us. He seemed flexible and responsive in the lead up to the wedding. But sadly, while I had a sense he would be a solid DJ for us, the performance at the event was quite a big let-down. We had a pretty simple timeline for the reception, yet Mike seemed flustered and not on top of things. Here is a list of things that were done incorrectly or omitted entirely at our wedding: - Short playlist of 5-6 songs to be played while guests arrived at ceremony were never played. Instead Mike was setting up still, when he had said he’d arrive 3 hours before the event and could set up the ceremony site quickly, even in “7 minutes” if needed. - No speaker was set up for our cocktail hour outdoor spot and no music was played at all - Uplighting was not working during dinner - We had a cute game arranged for during dinner where we would play a set of instrumental songs from tv/movies for guests to guess. He announced the game before really having everyone’s attention, then fumbled for 5-10 minutes while he worked out something on the computer and no music played at all. - Then he played 3 of these songs (incorrect versions!), and we had to cue him for our first dances which were late (one of the few timelined things all night). Our young daughter got hurt playing on the dance floor and we temporarily walked out, yet Mike had not even noticed this happen and instead announced the family dance — we weren’t even in the room! - Incorrect version of our first dance song - Then he forgot about going back to the instrumentals during dinner (abandoned the game entirely) and just started playing dance music, including several of our key “must play” favorites while no one was on the dance floor and we were all still eating. - The only other 2 planned things were a “shoe game” and anniversary dance. Neither of these was ever done. - Cake cutting was announced (and timing missed; about half hour late only when prodded by our venue coordinator) with no direction as to where the cake was. - Our requested “last dance” song was played at the end of the night but then followed up with one more song. And all in all, the music was just okay. There were no transitions between songs, just dead air. Mike did very little to engage the room directly. When the dancing energy was super high, he’d suddenly put on a slow song, which made no sense. While I didn’t want to write a poor review, I am so surprised by all the rave ones and thought this honest assessment could be helpful for other couples. Maybe we caught him on a bad day. Who knows. We’re all human. But this was a bummer and it’s just too bad all around that it did not work out. Thankfully our friends and family still had a wonderful time and that is what matters.

Mike is simply the best! He met with us as many times as we wanted in advance to make sure everything would be just right, from the ceremony music to the equipment needed for our friends' band to the announcements for the reception. He has tons of experience and made several helpful suggestions that made our event flow more smoothly. He is a very sweet person in addition to being a talented DJ. Several of our guests commented that he was the best wedding DJ ever. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Mike was amazing!!!! He was very patient with my husband and I. We met multiple times via Zoom and helped us think through all the logistics of the ceremony and the reception. He listened to the vibe we wanted and delivered!!! We had so much fun at our wedding and Mike played a huge role. 10/10 would recommend for your wedding!

From the beginning to the end Mike. He was helpful through the planning process and gave us great advise but also let us know that it’s our day and we can do things the way we want. We were able to put in some must play songs. He was great at hosting the newly married game. He had everyone up and dancing for a long time!

We got married August 1st, 2020 and had Mike as our DJ. Even through the crazy times he was INCREDIBLE! He was very attentive and thorough from the get go through the planning process. He played all of our songs, was right on queue with everything and didn't even hesitate to stay later than scheduled when much of the wedding guests wanted to continue to dance. I would HIGHLY recommend Mike as a DJ for your wedding or any event!

I cannot say enough about Mike from M&M Entertainment! He communicated quickly and efficiently from the first meeting to the night before our wedding. The online planner was so helpful and efficient for my husband (!!!) and I throughout the process as we were planning from afar; but Mike helped us and talked us through everything! He made recommendations for songs that stumped us, he altered songs to fit our situations (lengthened, shortened, etc.), he played songs that kept our dance floor FULL all night! (my biggest fear was an empty dance floor) We have had several guests already comment on how professional, fun, and energetic Mike was through our entire day! We could not be happier with our choice in DJ! Thank you Mike!!!!

If you can get DJ Mike for your wedding, you are in for a real treat! He is super professional, helpful, kind, thoughtful, and knows how to create an awesome dance party. Throughout the entire planning process Mike was responsive and lent his breadth of knowledge in many aspects of planning, not just the music. I would recommend him to anyone- he made our wedding day truly special!

First off, Mike made himself available VERY last minute for our last minute wedding (less than a month’s notice). Not only that, he went above & beyond in referencing our notes & creating a playlist that suited us & we couldn’t have been happier! We loved the music during dinner & had an absolute blast on the dance floor afterward. The timeline we had in mind didn’t quite work out, but Mike was incredibly flexible & helped keep the night moving smoothly despite us being about 30min behind. We couldn’t have asked for anything better & we can’t believe we landed someone so fantastic on such late notice! We’ll certainly be recommending Mike to anyone who asks!

We LOVED partnering with Mike as our wedding DJ! From the very first phone call through the end of the event he was on the ball, enthusiastic, organized, optimistic and helpful! We had a unique situation getting married off the coast of Maine on an island where no cars were allowed. This had posed to be a problem for a number of the DJ's we had reached out to - but when we were introduced to Mike we knew it was going to be a fit right away. He was excited and prepared for the potential challenges an event like this could provide, but game for the adventure. He checked in with us and other vendors necessary to get organized. He also worked closely with our friend who was going to be supplying the music for cocktail hour, mics for our officiant, etc. Mike helped us to stay super organized as we had a million little details flying around to organize and we can't say enough about how much we appreciated Mike's attention to detail, organization, and help in general. Not to mention - Mike brought the BEST music! When initially planning, the question was asked - what's your wedding theme, Ron and I both said - relaxed, fun, and a giant dance party - and that's exactly what it was! A special thanks to Mike for his amazing music choices and MC skills. He made our wedding the perfect day we'd both imagined and we would recommend Mike to everyone we know planning an event - and can't wait to work with him again in the future! DJ Mike was fantastic! With our song suggestions, he came up with a playlist that made our wedding ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour perfect. He was very responsive to e-mail, collaborative when we needed some help putting together a processional and recessional, and followed our instructions to the T. Would absolutely work with him again.

We hired Mike for our wedding, from the first inquiry to the reception, he was amazing. Mike accommodated every request, even last minute changes, with ease. Mike is such a kind, person, I had the pleasure of chatting with him the morning of the wedding, and that simple chat helped get rid of some of the shakes I was experiencing. Mike kept our reception lively, and responded to every song request without an issue. Mike will make your event as memorable as he made ours, we highly recommend him. We absolutely LOVED working with Mike! You can definitely tell that he has years of experience being a DJ. He had the guests out on the dance floor all night and knew all the best songs to play to get everyone out there having a great time! Mike is a total professional from beginning to end. Remember that a great DJ offers much more than music during your wedding. In the months leading up to the wedding, Mike helps keep you on track with the music selection and helps you stay organized with his client website. You can post all of your music needs and wedding day flow on there so he can help lead the crowd in whatever direction they need to go. On the wedding day, Mike was prepared with three set ups, from his battery powered speakers and mic down by the water, to another setup in the tent, and an additional setup inside where the dancing occurred. During dinner, Mike led the crowd through the buffet line by monitoring the line and announcing tables. This isn't something that we asked for but was a lifesaver. During dancing, Mike read the crowd and had everyone on the dance floor, from our rowdy 20 something year old friends to my 90 year old grandparents. It was truly a great night. So glad we decided to go with Mike.

Mike absolutely rocked our wedding!! Our dance floor was completely packed from start to finish. Mike met with us in person beforehand, was incredibly attentive to detail and listened precisely to our wishes. I had some absolutely diva type requests, including some ridiculous intros, and Mike never hesitated to deliver on any of them. I also had a slight change of plans twice within a week of my wedding and Mike still didn't bat an eye. He was incredible to work with. His dedication and pride in his work clearly showed during the best day of our lives!

Mike did a fantastic job dj'ing our cocktail hour and reception! He worked with us to make sure he had all the information he needed to guarantee that it would be a super fun and entertaining reception. He helped us out with providing microphones for our ceremony, set up his equipment in two locations (the cocktail hour and the reception) played just about every song we had requested, and worked with us to make all the announcements we asked for. He also had a blast doing it, every time we looked up at the stage he was on, he was dancing and singing along to the songs which we thought was awesome!

We LOVED working with M&M Entertainment when planning our wedding. Michael started the interaction by replying to our inquiry almost immediately, and continued to stay in constant contact throughout the entire process. He made many helpful suggestions, not only regarding the music but for reception details as well, helping us create a timeline of events. During the event, the fire alarms went off and he was very helpful in guiding guests, and even more helpful restarting the party once everyone was seated again. My husband and I are incredibly thankful for all the effort and hard work that he put into planning our reception. If you have an event that requires the services of a DJ, we HIGHLY recommend Michael and his company. You get exactly what you pay for, which is someone with lots of experience who has been doing this for years, and knows how to make your dreams come true!

We couldn't be happier that we chose Mike to be our wedding reception DJ! From his attentiveness to our needs, quick response with emails, professionalism, great ideas and genuine care in making sure our day went perfectly, he completely blew us away. Mike was so fun to work with throughout the whole process, providing us with great tips and feedback. He made us feel so comfortable and in great hands, which was extremely helpful since planning a wedding is no easy feat! We met with him twice prior to our wedding and he was able to accommodate our schedule, even with us living in a different state. When our big day finally came around, Mike was there for us with everything we needed. Our reception music was on point and everyone had an amazing time. He did a fantastic job with announcements and coordinating our timeline with scheduled events, i.e. the bouquet toss, shoe game, speeches, etc. Mike is exceptionally skilled with figuring out what works for a crowd and what will keep the energy going. His skills show that he is a seasoned DJ with plenty of wedding experience, and we would recommend him to anyone. We will definitely miss working with him!

Mike went above and beyond to make our special day one to remember. He was very easy to get in touch with throughout the planning process and so willing to meet up and go over details in person which was awesome. We were living in Vermont at the time and he even drove all the way to NH to meet up with us which was great! The attention to detail really made a huge impact on the whole day. I wrote my first review of Mike and the second I sent it out, I immediately felt as though I shortchanged him. From the moment we met until I shook his hand after the last song of my wedding was played, every encounter was a pleasant one. He was attentive, suggestive, and all around one of the better vendors we had. And all of this does not include the fact that EVERY guest at my wedding raved about how much fun they had and how good the music was. I cared very much about the dancing and music and it was fantastic to have a DJ who cares just the same. Thank you Mike. You are the man!!!!

Mike did an amazing job! He stayed in contact with us from start to finish. He answered all my questions and was very easy to get in touch with. He gave us updates throughout the process to make sure we were ahead of schedule. I was a very nervous bride to be so Mike also made sure to be in touch and let us know he was available for anything we needed. We were very flexible with our music choice. I had a couple suggestions but otherwise left it up to Mikes expertise. He DID NOT disappoint us. He kept the crowd going with fun games and interacting with our guests. We had a blast and our guests kept commenting on how great everything went. I would recommend Mike to everyone.

Mike was AMAZING!!! So helpful and responsive during the planning process. Walked me through everything. Answered emails on time and especially toward the end when I was staring to freak out a little. Everyone LOVED him at the wedding!!! So happy we chose him for our special day!

Mike was above and beyond what we ever could've imagined from a DJ! Not only did he take the highest concern to be sure the music that we love was played, but he also helped us with details and ideas that we never would've thought of on our own. Mike is very organized and is sure that he understands your vision completely. He made our cocktail hour & reception perfect beyond words. Mike Mahoney was an incredible DJ, and a great asset to us as we were planning our wedding. I can honestly say that I loved every song that he played, and he enforced our "Do Not Play" list in the face some guests who were adamant about hearing the Chicken Dance. For this alone I would be eternally grateful, but he went above and beyond when he went through the specifics of the ceremony with us. My wife is a serious music fan and had a very specific vision for her entrance. Mike edited the song several times until it was perfect. Seeing her on our wedding day is something I'll never forget, and Mike went out of his way to make sure it was perfect.

Where do we start? It was an absolute pleasure working with Mike. He did a wonderful job at our wedding. We were very happy and so were our guests. They raved all night and weeks after about what a wonderful job he did. Mike was very pleasant and easy to work with. Mike was all about what we wanted and making our day as seamless as possible. He was wonderful about reworking a couple songs for us and offered his expertise in areas that we had questions or needed help with. He has a great user friendly site to help the "soon to be newlyweds". We cannot thank him enough and we highly recommend him as a DJ.

We couldn't have been happier with Mike Mahoney as our DJ. We were kind of picky with choosing our vendors, and finding a good DJ that kept the flow of our reception going was really important to us. He was very attentive to our needs, meeting with us multiple times before our event. He has a really awesome website to choose the playlist and order of your reception, we had a blast choosing our music! Mike was also really attentive to our guests, he knew exactly what to play and when to play it and did a great job at getting our crowd up and moving. A great DJ is super important to a wedding as it definitely sets the tone for the night. Mike also gave us a CD at the end of the night with all of our important songs on it which was such a special and memorable touch! He has a great professional personality and you can't go wrong having M&M Entertainment at your wedding!

Mike is an awesome DJ. He is super responsive and very attentive. My guests raved about the broad spectrum of music he played. He even gave us a CD of our favorite songs afterwards! He is super nice and a hard worker. We had some issues with some duct tape on the floor that we were having trouble removing and he just took care of it for us. He is so awesome. The music was great. He kept things moving. I highly recommend him!

We could not have been more thrilled with Michael Mahoney as our DJ. He exceeded our expectations in every sense! His music selection was exactly what we had wanted, and even better! He even suggested a song after he read our proposal story and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the night for us! His MC skills are great and he was really good at not only communicating important information and keeping the reception on schedule, but he was great at getting the guests excited. He helped make everyone feel welcome and what really made me happy was to see him dancing and getting into the music from up on the stage. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding DJ. From day one, Mike made us feel so comfortable, and we believed that he truly cared about us and our wedding day, rather than just being another job for him. He was so easy to talk to, easy to work with, and not pushy at all. Mike helped us to figure out timing for the day, as we had no idea what the heck we were doing! On the day of, Mike did the music for our ceremony, which was outside, and for the reception, which was inside. The ceremony was almost a last minute addition, and it was flawless, like we had been planning it the whole time. During the reception, Mike did an amazing job running everything on time, listening to us and our needs, and also listening to the crowd. We really did not want someone who was going to be overly "crazy" or cheesy with their announcements, etc. and Mike was absolutely perfect. Once the dance floor opened up, Mike kept the whole crowd dancing for the entire night -- he read the crowd so well and played an amazing list of music. He made sure to play all of our "must haves", and also added in a lot that we hadn't though of that fit perfectly! We had several people throughout and after the wedding comment on how great our DJ was -- we even had one friend approach him about doing their wedding the following year! All in all, I was 100% satisfied with Mike Mahoney, and would hire him again in a heartbeat. He is experienced, caring, and knows how to throw a great party (and keep it moving).

Mike Mahoney does a wonderful job. We met with 3 DJ's prior to meeting Mike and at the time we already thought we had our #1 choice but kept our appointment anyway. I am very thankful we met him! Mike sat us down and we went through what WE wanted instead of what he offered as he was very easy going. We knew he was the perfect DJ for our wedding as we had a wide variety of ages and we all LOVE to dance. Leading up to the wedding he was extremely helpful. He actually went to our reception site to check out the availability of up-lighting, where he would set up, etc and helped out immensely. He also has a very user friendly website to log music and had most of what we wanted and was able to get any song that he didn't currently have. The week before the wedding I called Mike up to ask if he knew where I could rent a projector and he got back to me ASAP and had one on hold for me using his connections. When the day of the wedding came Mike showed up early. He played for our cocktail hour which was not at the same site as our reception and did not mind at all. He was a great MC leading up to the dancing as well. When the dancing began he knew the songs to play to get people up and dancing! He definitely worked the crowd! He was very approachable for our guests. Our crowd began dancing at 8 and did not stop until midnight and we had nearly all our wedding guests on the dance floor all night including our grandparents (until we played some rap!) At the end of the night no one wanted it to be over and if it wasn't for the policy of the reception site I believe Mike would have kept playing. I had MANY guests tell me it was the most fun they ever had at a wedding! Thanks Mike!
