We are absolutely amazed at how talented these ladies are! Through email, M&T was able to create the most intricate cake and cupcakes we could ever ask for! The flavors were on point and everyone is raving about how amazing everything was!

M&T Events made our wedding cake and it came out EXACTLY as pictured and described. The guests were completely wowed with the presentation and detail put into our cake. M&T was willing to make a custom flavor to our liking and our guests couldn't stop talking about how tasty the cake was. Everything just went perfectly! They are incredible to work with and I'd highly recommend M&T for your wedding cake!

I booked M &T Events for their unique cakes and I wasn’t disappointed. My cake turned out just the way we wanted it. Karina was so patient with me after I had changed and changed and changed my design. She was great!!! Even when I decided I wanted to add a birthday cake for my brother and I, she came through. I would recommend M&T to any couple. They did an outstanding job.

We had an amazing experience with M&T Events Bakery! Due to COVID, our wedding plans were ever changing. M&T were very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. I was able to give them pictures of inspiration for our cake and they came up with a beautiful design with beautiful flowers. I had a lot of questions during the process and Martina was able to answer every single one quickly. They also have lots of choices for cake flavors! We picked lemon blueberry and it was AMAZING!! Highly recommend!

Martina was a pleasure to work with! It was amazing how we walked in with inspiration photos and she turned them into our own personal dream cake. She was very flexible to work with when we had to change some things due to the current situation, which was greatly appreciated. And, most importantly, everything she made was delicious!!! We even ended up ordering cookies to go with our cake after our tasting because they were too good to resist!

Our wedding cake tasted as delicious as it looked, and it was one gorgeous cake! I met Martina during my cake tasting and was immediately wowed by her selection of none traditional but delicious cakes. What I liked more was the fact that she was VERY EXCITED to recreate a modern art cake design I had found online, making a few suggestions on how we could make it our own. She was professional, warm and a delight to work with--she even wrapped up the extra cakes from the tasting and told me how to store them so I could take it to my fiance who lived far away. We went with the Lemon Raspberry and Dulce De Leche flavors, and our wedding cake tasted better than what I recalled having during the cake tasting. The cake was more than enough for our 120-person wedding. Did I mention that the flowers and leaves were handmade using rice paper? That's how skilled M & T is. Thanks Martina!

Exceptional! I met Martina and she was the only tasting that we did. One and done with zero regrets. Martina had a clear understanding of my vision and took that as the foundation to build the cake with great taste of our dreams. It was not just a pretty cake. The itself was delicious and our guests agreed.

We had personalized cakes to present to amazing people in our lives and they absolutely LOVED them! The strawberry and red velvet flavors are our favorites, the only down side was we didn't get the chance to eat more before it was all gone!! Thank you Martina and Tiffany! This is an epic mother daughter duo! I ordered a dulce de leche 3 layer cake for my wedding 8/17/19! Omg everyone said it was thee best cake they has ever had! I am ordering another one in a few week! Hands down best event cake around! I only wish it was bigger!😋

It was a pleasure working with Martina on our wedding cake! When my then-fiancé (now husband) and I had our consultation, Martina sat with us for over two hours discussing ideas and what we wanted in our wedding cake. She was so patient and listened carefully, and she designed a cake for us right then and there. On the day of the wedding, when we laid eyes on the actual cake, nothing could prepare us for the wonder that Martina created for us! It’s amazing the details she put into the glittering golden emblem and tiny fleurs-de-lys trim. The fondant was smooth and beautiful. Her sugar flower work was gorgeous! I looked up so many pictures of sugar sunflowers, and nothing remotely compared to Martina’s handiwork. It was intricate and elegant, yet whimsical. And the cake tasted delicious! We chose a lemon cake with raspberry filling and loved every bite. The cake wasn’t overly sweet and it was so fluffy and moist; even the fondant was tasty. My husband and I just had a piece of leftover cake two weeks after the wedding, and it is still delicious! Martina strives for and achieves perfection. Also, her Yummy Rummies are to die for! I will surely be reaching out to Martina when we’re celebrating another special occasion.

This is such a lovely business; Martina is a joy to work with and her attention to quality and detail is unparalleled. We had resigned ourselves to an "acceptable" wedding cake, only to find we could have one that was both visually elegant AND one of the most delicious desserts we had ever tasted in its own right! The whole process was easy and fun--we highly recommend them!!

We knew we wanted Martina to make our wedding cake the day of our tasting! Her cake flavors stood apart from any of the other bakers we tried so it was an easy decision. Holy moly! Martina at M&T events is going to be doing making my cakes for every and all occasions. She’s quick to respond to emails, I had a cake tasting within hours of emailing her. Her tastings are fresh and EVERYTHING she makes is edible (even her itemized invoice). My husband (ah husband!!) and Is cake was everything we wanted and more. We had our wedding party fighting over it the next day! If you want a stress free, amazing experience, look no further!

I had to pleasure of working with Martina and her daughter, Tiffany, for my wedding. Martina was incredibly kind from the moment I reached out to her via email. I went for the cake tasting with a guest, and Martina was very welcoming and accommodating. I provided a picture of how I wanted the cake decorated and she nailed it! Everything on the cake was edible. Even the roses and rose petals! Needless to say, the cake was delicious. My guests loved it. My husband is not a fan of cake, but he actually ate a few slices. The cake was delivered in a timely manner and was set up perfectly. M&T events custom cakes are the best!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Martina and Tiffany. The wedding cake they created for my husband and I was SO beautiful and delicious!! They are so warm, sweet, and welcoming; we loved them from the very first time we had our cake tasting in their lovely home. They are accommodating, positive, and professional. They always responded to my emails fairly quickly and reassured us that they will use only the highest quality ingredients for our cake. We chose a dulce de leche cake with white fondant and let me tell you--this isn't just any boring, chalky fondant. It was light, soft, fluffy, and delicious! The cake had just the right amount of sweetness and was just delectable. It was also beautiful to look at! They also made us rosewater macarons for our dessert table and we weren't even able to taste them--they were so good, the guests snatched them up very fast! Honestly, they make a great team, and I highly recommend their services for any occasion. Thank you, Martina and Tiffany for creating the wedding cake of our dreams! We met to decide which cake to choose and I knew from then that it was going to be amazing...and it was. We chose a small one for our guests and it was enough and more. Relatives who usually would never eat cake had seconds. The cake was everything we wanted and more. So beautiful!!! You would really miss out if you don’t hire them to make a cake for you. Awesome work!!!

We absolutely loved the cakes they made for our wedding, and the customer service we received!! We ended up going with a cupcake tower with a "traditional-ish" topper, and it far exceeded our expectations!!! We had three different flavor cupcakes, and the topper was our favorite of the three flavors. Also, aside from the cake, a BIG hit was the rum balls!!!! Absolute must have!! M&T is our new favorite baker, and we plan to use them whenever we need dessert for an event!! I wish I could post pics!

Absolutely loved our wedding cake from Martina. Our tasting experience was so enjoyable and we had a hard time narrowing down our flavors; they were all delicious! we ended up with a cutting cake and cupcakes to accommodate all of the flavors we wanted and i was very impressed that she drew up a picture of what it would look like on the spot. she is a true artist when it comes to cake decoration, and the only thing more impressive (and enjoyable) is how good they taste!

Look no further! M&T Events Custom Cakes is the best cake vendor in the DMV area. We were looking for an over the top, multi layered wedding cake for our African royalty themed wedding. Martina and Tiffany exceeded our expectations with there artistic abilities, baking skills and professionalism. Not only did our wedding cake look beautiful but tasted delicious and was exceptionally moist! All of our wedding guests said it was the best cake they have ever tasted. We will be using M&T Events Custom for all our future events.

If I can give 10 stars rating to our cake made by Martina for our wedding, I would! At the cake tasting she made us taste seven different cake flavors to choose from. Picking two flavors for our two-tiered cake was very fun and impressive. She has the cake flavors down to a science and the options were beautifully shown to us down with a checklist for us to rate each flavor. We chose the Chocolate Rocher flavor for the top tier and the Almond Amaretto for the base, and at the day of the wedding, all the guests were asking where we got the cake from! Not only does the cake tasted superb, but it's also visually breathtaking! Martina got the romantic feel and the Christmas-y feel that I wanted for our wedding cake. I made sure that we saved the sugar flowers as they're too pretty to eat and we didn't get the traditional bride/groom cake topper. M&Ts cake shop is almost an hour away from where we live, but we'll make sure we'll order from them again. We had to make last minute changes to our order because of the increase in the number of guests, and Martina so kindly accommodated our request. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Martina for making a memorable and very beautiful cake for our wedding.

We have had 2 cakes created by M&T and they were both amazing! We had a pirate cake which was fantastic- truly breathtaking and beautiful, for a birthday party, and we had a masquerade cake made for another birthday party. These women are true artists with frosting and sugar designs.

Their cakes are amazing. Not only are they beautiful, they are delicious too. They only use the best ingredients, which increases the value of the product. They are a small company so book early with them. They may not always respond immediately to emails, but they will get to you with any information you need. The personalized service made the entire process very easy and worry-free.

I cannot even begin to say enough about M&T Events. They did our cake for our wedding on 10/28/17 and left me absolutely speechless!!!. Not only was it the most beautiful cake but the taste was amazing I had many people comment on how amazing it was. From the very first time contacting them through our design and cake tasting up until the wedding was so enjoyable and easy with them. Even when I decided to change my design 2 months out it was no problem and Martina was able to get my vision through email and send me a new sketch of the cake which was exactly on point. I am still sooooo in love with the cake. Thank you sooooooo sooo much!!!
