About this vendor
Custom cakes designed to your dreams.
M&T Events is a Mother and Daughter business. Martina has a degree in Interior Design. She was also born and raised in Germany; therefore, all of her cakes and design ideas incorporate an exquisite, European flare.
Tiffany’s passion is Culinary Desserts. Her art of creative baking, makes us a unique power team.
We take great pride in our workmanship and make each cake as if it were our own. We strongly believe in quality over quantity. (Reviews) Therefore, we limit ourselves to only a certain amount of cakes and tastings each weekend. M&T Events Cakes are “more than just an extraordinary dessert.” Cakes are made from the highest quality ingredients, and are guaranteed to wow in both taste and visual effect. We are rated as #1 in the Tri-State.

rful to communicate with, and took all of the stress out of choosing our wedding cake.
We found a photo online of a cake that we completely fell in love with and hoped someone could recreate. Not only did they recreate it, but they matched it perfectly. We were honestly blown away when we saw it in person. Every detail was beautifully executed and it looked even more stunning in person than we had imagined. It became one of the standout details of our reception with many of our guests commenting on how gorgeous it was.
The cake tasted every bit as amazing as it looked. The flavors we chose were absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was. I haven’t been to that many weddings but I’m sure its rare to find a wedding cake that's both a showpiece and genuinely one of the best-tasting cakes you've had, they absolutely delivered on both.
Everything was handled exactly as promised. The cake was delivered to our venue on schedule, set up flawlessly, and we never had to worry about a thing.
One of the biggest surprises was the value. We expected a cake of this quality and craftsmanship to cost significantly more, but their pricing was incredibly fair and transparent. We felt like we received spectacular quality for what we paid and it was easily one of the best values of our entire wedding.
We truly could not have been happier with our experience. If you're looking for a bakery that creates breathtaking cakes, delivers amazing flavor, provides outstanding customer service, and offers incredible value, look no further. We would recommend them again and again without a moment's hesitation. Thank you for creating such a beautiful centerpiece for our wedding and helping make our day even more special!
Martina made a 5 tier wedding cake that was beyond amazing for our 380 person wedding. Everyone loved it and not a single slice was left!!

r vendors, M&T provided the most comprehensive, diverse, adorable, and delicious tasting experience, which helped clarify our preferences and ensure we knew exactly what to expect. Martina was incredibly responsive and flawlessly executed our vision. We incorporated our beloved cat, Charlie, into the cake design, and Martina surprised us with a charming ball of fondant yarn to accompany him. We're so thankful to M&T for creating a delicious, beautiful cake and providing a wonderful experience.
M&T provided us with an elegant and delicious cake for our wedding. It couldn't have been better!
Our wedding was not only delicious but it was also gorgeous! We loved our coconut wedding cake and so did our guest!

h when we had to change some things due to the current situation, which was greatly appreciated. And, most importantly, everything she made was delicious!!! We even ended up ordering cookies to go with our cake after our tasting because they were too good to resist!

but delicious cakes. What I liked more was the fact that she was VERY EXCITED to recreate a modern art cake design I had found online, making a few suggestions on how we could make it our own. She was professional, warm and a delight to work with--she even wrapped up the extra cakes from the tasting and told me how to store them so I could take it to my fiance who lived far away. We went with the Lemon Raspberry and Dulce De Leche flavors, and our wedding cake tasted better than what I recalled having during the cake tasting. The cake was more than enough for our 120-person wedding. Did I mention that the flowers and leaves were handmade using rice paper? That's how skilled M & T is. Thanks Martina!
Exceptional! I met Martina and she was the only tasting that we did. One and done with zero regrets. Martina had a clear understanding of my vision and took that as the foundation ...

nd what we wanted in our wedding cake. She was so patient and listened carefully, and she designed a cake for us right then and there. On the day of the wedding, when we laid eyes on the actual cake, nothing could prepare us for the wonder that Martina created for us! It’s amazing the details she put into the glittering golden emblem and tiny fleurs-de-lys trim. The fondant was smooth and beautiful. Her sugar flower work was gorgeous! I looked up so many pictures of sugar sunflowers, and nothing remotely compared to Martina’s handiwork. It was intricate and elegant, yet whimsical. And the cake tasted delicious! We chose a lemon cake with raspberry filling and loved every bite. The cake wasn’t overly sweet and it was so fluffy and moist; even the fondant was tasty. My husband and I just had a piece of leftover cake two weeks after the wedding, and it is still delicious! Martina strives for and achieves perfection. Also, her Yummy Rummies are to die for! I will surely be reaching out to Martina when we’re celebrating another special occasion.

n with Martina in several conversations. Because I myself was planning our wedding, I had many detailed questions and creative ideas in mind. Martina exceeded our expectations with her professionalism, business savvy, and creative skills. Leading up to our wedding day, she offered very helpful suggestions to make the cake and cake presentation special. On our wedding day, we can say without a doubt that we were especially pleased with the lovely cake and cake presentation. We received so many compliments on the design and taste! When many people don’t even eat wedding cake, we were surprised when several people asked for more! Martina has a great personality, kind heart, and is very accommodating. We greatly appreciate that! We wish we could give Martina more than 5 stars!

tasting with a guest, and Martina was very welcoming and accommodating. I provided a picture of how I wanted the cake decorated and she nailed it! Everything on the cake was edible. Even the roses and rose petals! Needless to say, the cake was delicious. My guests loved it. My husband is not a fan of cake, but he actually ate a few slices. The cake was delivered in a timely manner and was set up perfectly. M&T events custom cakes are the best!!

d welcoming; we loved them from the very first time we had our cake tasting in their lovely home. They are accommodating, positive, and professional. They always responded to my emails fairly quickly and reassured us that they will use only the highest quality ingredients for our cake. We chose a dulce de leche cake with white fondant and let me tell you--this isn't just any boring, chalky fondant. It was light, soft, fluffy, and delicious! The cake had just the right amount of sweetness and was just delectable. It was also beautiful to look at! They also made us rosewater macarons for our dessert table and we weren't even able to taste them--they were so good, the guests snatched them up very fast! Honestly, they make a great team, and I highly recommend their services for any occasion. Thank you, Martina and Tiffany for creating the wedding cake of our dreams! We got married on October 28, 2017.

xceeded our expectations!!! We had three different flavor cupcakes, and the topper was our favorite of the three flavors. Also, aside from the cake, a BIG hit was the rum balls!!!! Absolute must have!! M&T is our new favorite baker, and we plan to use them whenever we need dessert for an event!! I wish I could post pics!

ding. Martina and Tiffany exceeded our expectations with there artistic abilities, baking skills and professionalism. Not only did our wedding cake look beautiful but tasted delicious and was exceptionally moist! All of our wedding guests said it was the best cake they have ever tasted. If I can give 10 stars rating to our cake made by Martina for our wedding, I would! At the cake tasting she made us taste seven different cake flavors to choose from. Picking two f...
lavors for our two-tiered cake was very fun and impressive. She has the cake flavors down to a science and the options were beautifully shown to us down with a checklist for us to rate each flavor. We chose the Chocolate Rocher flavor for the top tier and the Almond Amaretto for the base, and at the day of the wedding, all the guests were asking where we got the cake from!
Not only does the cake tasted superb, but it's also visually breathtaking! Martina got the romantic feel and the Christmas-y feel that I wanted for our wedding cake. I made sure that we saved the sugar flowers as they're too pretty to eat and we didn't get the traditional bride/groom cake topper.
M&Ts cake shop is almost an hour away from where we live, but we'll make sure we'll order from them again. We had to make last minute changes to our order because of the increase in the number of guests, and Martina so kindly accommodated our request.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Martina for making a memorable and very beautiful cake for our wedding.

t the taste was amazing I had many people comment on how amazing it was. From the very first time contacting them through our design and cake tasting up until the wedding was so enjoyable and easy with them. Even when I decided to change my design 2 months out it was no problem and Martina was able to get my vision through email and send me a new sketch of the cake which was exactly on point. I am still sooooo in love with the cake. Thank you sooooooo sooo much!!!
