Mandy is a true artist who I trust wholeheartedly trust to do amazing hair and makeup. She was punctual and the wedding party did not have to rush around to finish getting ready before photos. When I looked into the mirror for the first time on my wedding day, I was blown away - I had never seen myself look so beautiful and that was all thanks to Mandy. And what a better way to feel than absolutely stunning and your best self on your wedding day! I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and Mandy was able to create a look that made me feel like a fancy version of myself. For my hair, I knew I wanted to wear it partially up and had a few reference photos. Mandy was able to take the little direction I provided and transformed my mane into a work of art. Most importantly, my makeup was flawless throughout the night and every stand of hair stayed in place. I was actually sad to take it all off at the end of the night because it still looked great! Not only did I get compliments on my wedding day, but my mother-in-law is still raving about how good Mandy's hair and makeup skills were 5 months later! I cannot recommend her enough to future brides - work with Mandy and you too will look gorgeous on your special day.

On the day of the wedding, she was timely, reassuring, and all around excellent--at one point, I was worried that we were running a little behind schedule, but she reassured me and ended up finishing early! I just got my photographs back, and my makeup is absolutely everything I wanted it to be and my hair looked just as beautiful at the end of a night full of crazy dancing as it did when she did it over breakfast.

bout anything! Mandy was easy to communicate with and direct. Pricing was straightforward. I had to trust my gut when hiring Mandy as I was an out-of-state bride! After hours and hours of research on different hair/makeup artists, I zeroed in on Mandy. Thankfully, she was still available for my Sunday wedding. (Tip: If you want Mandy, book her ASAP because her schedule fills up quickly!) I met her just a few days before the big day for a hair trial. She was so friendly and easy to get along with. She was invested in making me happy and hearing what I had to say. We scrolled through Pinterest together and created a vision before she started playing around with my hair. She got it right on the first try and it was even better than expected! For money saving purposes, I skipped a makeup trial. The day of, I was a little nervous because I didn’t want to look overdone (or come out in photos with a caked face), but Mandy again did an amazing job! I looked so natural and felt perfectly myself. My airbrush makeup and false lashes lasted all day. Mandy and Misty tag-teamed by bridal party (9 people) effortlessly. We had all sorts of hair textures: long, short, thick, curly, and fine - no sweat! Also, I was super impressed that Mandy & Misty stuck to the schedule to a T. From start to end time, everything went off without a hitch! They made sure that we all were touched up before they left; they even provided little lip samples and travel sized hairspray. In sum, I highly recommend Mandy (and Misty) - professional artists and sweet human beings!

ook her! Not only did she do an incredible job for me and my bridesmaids (seven of us in total) she was so fun to work with! I booked a hotel room for my bridesmaids for the night before and I didn't even think about what time we'd have to checkout, so while we were getting ready the hotel said we needed to go and Mandy handled it for us (without anyone asking her to) and saved the day! Her prices are fair and I absolutely recommend her!

I felt absolutely beautiful and the hair and makeup held up all day for pictures, the ceremony, and the reception! I got tons of compliments on both! From a personal standpoint: Mandy was patient when things came up that slowed her work, kind in all of her dealings with me, never pushy, very understanding, and a very pleasant lady to have in the bridal suite! I had my younger sister who has special needs as a flower girl (at 20 years old) and Mandy navigated the uniqueness of Allison perfectly and made her feel so special and beautiful. We had originally only planned on Allison having her hair done, but Mandy took a few extra minutes to put a little makeup on her as well so she could feel like all the other girls! In my world, you treat someone with special needs right (especially my sister), you earn my utmost respect! Mandy was phenomenal on all accounts, and Crystal (her assistant for the day) did a beautiful job on my bridesmaids hair! I would recommend these ladies to anyone!

"perfect" on their big day. Mandy transformed this dream of mine into a reality on July 12, 2014. My cascading curls were flawless, and my makeup looked like something you would see on a model in a magazine. She nailed the look I had envisioned for forever, but that wasn't even the best part. The best part about getting this particular lady to do services for me, was that she was patient, she was open to suggestions (even though she was the professional), and she was kind enough to travel from her family vacation to ME to do my hair/makeup at my home. Yes, you read that last part right. She traveled 2 hours from Port Aransas to the little city of Hallettsville just to make sure this bride's dreams came true. I don't know what more I can say. Mandy is an awesome person and does amazing work.

lso booked Mandy for her upcoming wedding! I brought pictures to Mandy that I had seen on pinterest not really knowing what I wanted and she guided me with ease. The pictures I showed her were very detailed and she made my hair look exactly like the picture, and anyone who does pinterest might know that isn't so easy to do!!! She was great to work with, very easy going and super knowledgeable and professional. Highly Recommend!!

I made a few changes to my hairstyle between the trial and the wedding but she understood what I wanted and it turned out perfectly! I didn't really have a "look" that I was going for with my makeup; I just said I wanted to be the prettiest possible version of myself. She kept my look natural but it was still definitely special and I got lots of compliments! All of my bridesmaids were happy with their hair as well.

I recieved a lot of compliments about my hair and makeup! The look lasted all night long throughout all the walking around and dancing! The day of Mandy was even able to come in and bring an assistant to work on the bridal party (they all looked beautiful) I would recommend Mandy to any bride looking for a hair makeup artist!

. We all loved the way we looked and received compliments all night long. I did a trial run and it was totally worth it because we got to meet Mandy beforehand and get an idea of what we wanted. I'm glad I did a trial run because I ended up going in a different direction on the day of the wedding. Sometimes what you think you want 3 months before the wedding is not always what is best! Mandy was so understanding and worked well with our crammed wedding-day timeline. She brought a second artist on the day of the wedding because of our limited amount of time and it worked out perfectly. We had one minor glitch with false eyelashes, but I blame my contact lenses and NOT Mandy! Everything worked out fine and I love the photographs that I've seen so far. I cannot wait to see the rest!
