Mandy was the makeup and hair artist for my March 2019 wedding. I was so glad to have found her. From our first hair and makeup trial, to her doing the hair and makeup for my bridal portraits, to the hair and makeup for my mother and sister on the wedding day, she really did a great job, and made the process stress-free. She is friendly and has a great personality, and will make you feel very comfortable. She took all the feedback on the hair and makeup and really put together what we were looking for. We all looked fantastic! Definitely check her out!

When I looked in the mirror the first time I was amazed on how she used the makeup in such a subtle way to enhance and make me look, Beautiful. All without looking like I was wearing almost any makeup! She got two thumbs up from the German MOG who spoke no English and was also super happy with everything. Everyone who got either Makeup or Hair by her were thrilled; and everyone's hair lasted the hot and dance heavy night. She was very easy to work with and highly responsive in her emails, with me planning this all from overseas this was very important. Mandy was great! She and the other makeup artist she brought with her, Donna Bruns, did a fantastic job making me and my bridesmaids look our best for my wedding. It was so convenient that they were able to come to the venue and do everything onsite. Mandy did my hair as well as my make up. She had also done my make up for my engagement photos. She is willing to take feedback and incorporate it, so you feel just right about your look. My bridesmaids and I loved feeling pampered for a special day.

Mandy was an absolute please to work with, she was professional and very knowledgeable about styling hair and makeup. I have course, frizz prone hair and she listened to all my concerns and created a a beautiful and elegant look that I absolutely adore. The hair and makeup trial were a great experience and was the time where she really took her time crafting the perfect look. For my wedding day, she had an assistant who was also incredible, all my bridesmaids loved their styling. I loved that she took many pictures of my styling at our trial so she was able to recreate it.

Mandy Hernandez is an incredible hair and makeup artist in every sense of the word. She did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding. I was so IMPRESSED by her professionalism, knowledge of the wedding industry, and artistry. She even helped me find my photographer. Mandy is a true artist who I trust wholeheartedly trust to do amazing hair and makeup. She was punctual and the wedding party did not have to rush around to finish getting ready before photos. When I looked into the mirror for the first time on my wedding day, I was blown away - I had never seen myself look so beautiful and that was all thanks to Mandy. And what a better way to feel than absolutely stunning and your best self on your wedding day! I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and Mandy was able to create a look that made me feel like a fancy version of myself. For my hair, I knew I wanted to wear it partially up and had a few reference photos. Mandy was able to take the little direction I provided and transformed my mane into a work of art. Most importantly, my makeup was flawless throughout the night and every stand of hair stayed in place. I was actually sad to take it all off at the end of the night because it still looked great! Not only did I get compliments on my wedding day, but my mother-in-law is still raving about how good Mandy's hair and makeup skills were 5 months later! I cannot recommend her enough to future brides - work with Mandy and you too will look gorgeous on your special day.

This girl is PHENOMENAL! You give her any picture of hair and makeup and she will make it a reality. I had my wedding trial and ON THE wedding day I changed my hair last minute- and she nailed it. I loved it and she made me glow!! She is also very calm which I needed because I slightly turned into bridezilla a few hours before the ceremony. She handled it like a champ. She knows what colors fit your skin tone etc. AMAZING!

Mandy was great and made me feel beautiful! She was able to style my hair at short notice with one photo (I picked something completely different at the hair trial) and it looked great! She and her team also did an amazing job on my bridesmaids as well!

I used Mandy for my wedding day make up and hair. She did an amazing job and really listened to what I wanted. She even used the airbrush foundation and custom fake eyelashes which were really awesome. My make-up and hair held up the whole night. She also did the make up of 5 other members of the wedding party. Everyone loved their hair and make-up. It looked so natural in person and great in the photos.

Mandy did hair and makeup for myself and my Maid of Honor for my wedding day. She was incredibly responsive and listened to all of my suggestions while still helpfully steering me with her expert knowledge on both the trial and day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she was timely, reassuring, and all around excellent--at one point, I was worried that we were running a little behind schedule, but she reassured me and ended up finishing early! I just got my photographs back, and my makeup is absolutely everything I wanted it to be and my hair looked just as beautiful at the end of a night full of crazy dancing as it did when she did it over breakfast.

Mandy was an absolute artist and magician! She gave me beautiful hair and makeup for my super hot May wedding day and through the entire night guests kept remarking how perfect my hair and makeup was and that I didn't look sweaty at all! I felt super sweaty but the airbrush makeup held up perfectly. She came on site to our hill country venue at The Wildflower Barn and stayed as long as we needed her. She also worked fast and efficiently to meet my start time for the ceremony. Thank you again Mandy you were amazing!

Mandy is an amazing makeup artist. She has a natural talent for making you look your absolute best! I was looking for a more natural makeup look for my wedding day but still wanted to make sure I was photograph ready. Mandy did an outstanding job of listening to what I wanted, creating the look I was going for but recommending an appropriate level of coverage and eye makeup for photos. I looked like the best version of myself in person and in the pictures on my big day.

Mandy and her assistant Misty are true artists! If you haven’t visited Mandy’s website yet, I highly recommend you check out her work. She has loads of experience and can do just about anything! Mandy was easy to communicate with and direct. Pricing was straightforward. I had to trust my gut when hiring Mandy as I was an out-of-state bride! After hours and hours of research on different hair/makeup artists, I zeroed in on Mandy. Thankfully, she was still available for my Sunday wedding. (Tip: If you want Mandy, book her ASAP because her schedule fills up quickly!) I met her just a few days before the big day for a hair trial. She was so friendly and easy to get along with. She was invested in making me happy and hearing what I had to say. We scrolled through Pinterest together and created a vision before she started playing around with my hair. She got it right on the first try and it was even better than expected! For money saving purposes, I skipped a makeup trial. The day of, I was a little nervous because I didn’t want to look overdone (or come out in photos with a caked face), but Mandy again did an amazing job! I looked so natural and felt perfectly myself. My airbrush makeup and false lashes lasted all day. Mandy and Misty tag-teamed by bridal party (9 people) effortlessly. We had all sorts of hair textures: long, short, thick, curly, and fine - no sweat! Also, I was super impressed that Mandy & Misty stuck to the schedule to a T. From start to end time, everything went off without a hitch! They made sure that we all were touched up before they left; they even provided little lip samples and travel sized hairspray. In sum, I highly recommend Mandy (and Misty) - professional artists and sweet human beings!

Mandy was amazing! I showed her pictures of hairstyles I was wanting and she did exactly what I was looking for and more! My hair was better than I ever imagined it would be. For my makeup I wasn't really sure what I was looking for but she guided me along the way and it turned out to be flawless. She is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed!

Mandy is absolutely WONDERFUL! I originally contacted her because my hair stylist backed out. I saw some good reviews and I was running out of time but I am SO glad I was able to book her! Not only did she do an incredible job for me and my bridesmaids (seven of us in total) she was so fun to work with! I booked a hotel room for my bridesmaids for the night before and I didn't even think about what time we'd have to checkout, so while we were getting ready the hotel said we needed to go and Mandy handled it for us (without anyone asking her to) and saved the day! Her prices are fair and I absolutely recommend her!

Mandy was FANTASTIC!! From a professional/skill standpoint: I had pictures of how I wanted my hair and makeup done for the big day and she knocked it completely out of the park! I felt absolutely beautiful and the hair and makeup held up all day for pictures, the ceremony, and the reception! I got tons of compliments on both! From a personal standpoint: Mandy was patient when things came up that slowed her work, kind in all of her dealings with me, never pushy, very understanding, and a very pleasant lady to have in the bridal suite! I had my younger sister who has special needs as a flower girl (at 20 years old) and Mandy navigated the uniqueness of Allison perfectly and made her feel so special and beautiful. We had originally only planned on Allison having her hair done, but Mandy took a few extra minutes to put a little makeup on her as well so she could feel like all the other girls! In my world, you treat someone with special needs right (especially my sister), you earn my utmost respect! Mandy was phenomenal on all accounts, and Crystal (her assistant for the day) did a beautiful job on my bridesmaids hair! I would recommend these ladies to anyone!

Mandy did my bridal hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids hair. Her team assisted with their makeup. EVERYONE looked amazing. I did a trial with her which I think helped perfect my overall look. She was super easy to work with and was stayed on schedule - even with 10 women getting ready together. You cannot go wrong with Mandy!

I wanted my hair and makeup to be perfect for my wedding day and that's exactly what I got. She has so many options for your wedding including a consultation, but I looked beautiful without ever talking about my choices beforehand. Mandy is so talented! As mother of the groom, Mandy did my hair and makeup this last August. She took her time during our run through and had great suggestions. On the wedding day, I felt so confident of her skills that I was completely relaxed thanks to her calm, soothing nature. She also styled my granddaughter's hair (who was the most precious flower girl!) At the last minute Mandy made a fresh wreath of herbs for her hair! She went above and beyond! Mandy did my bridal makeup and a trial, and makeup for my 3 bridesmaids. I didn't have a specific idea of what I wanted other than to look like me, but better :) So Mandy would ask me questions here and there about how I typically wear my makeup, and worked her magic. She was fun to have in the bridal room and made me feel completely at ease. She used airbrush makeup on all of us so it lasted all day & night and through the hot Texas summer heat. We were all very pleased. Highly recommend!

If there was one day in my life that I wanted to look absolutely flawless/gorgeous for, it was going to be my wedding day. Every girl (including myself) imagines herself as being "perfect" on their big day. Mandy transformed this dream of mine into a reality on July 12, 2014. My cascading curls were flawless, and my makeup looked like something you would see on a model in a magazine. She nailed the look I had envisioned for forever, but that wasn't even the best part. The best part about getting this particular lady to do services for me, was that she was patient, she was open to suggestions (even though she was the professional), and she was kind enough to travel from her family vacation to ME to do my hair/makeup at my home. Yes, you read that last part right. She traveled 2 hours from Port Aransas to the little city of Hallettsville just to make sure this bride's dreams came true. I don't know what more I can say. Mandy is an awesome person and does amazing work.

I had a great experience working with Mandy, I felt and looked beautiful for my wedding!! At the wedding I had at least 5 girls ask me who did my hair and make-up and one of them also booked Mandy for her upcoming wedding! I brought pictures to Mandy that I had seen on pinterest not really knowing what I wanted and she guided me with ease. The pictures I showed her were very detailed and she made my hair look exactly like the picture, and anyone who does pinterest might know that isn't so easy to do!!! She was great to work with, very easy going and super knowledgeable and professional. Highly Recommend!!

Mandy did a great job on hair for me and 3 bridesmaids and my makeup. She came to the hotel where we were staying which took some stress off us since we didn't have to worry about driving anywhere. She was right on time for both my trial and the wedding day. I made a few changes to my hairstyle between the trial and the wedding but she understood what I wanted and it turned out perfectly! I didn't really have a "look" that I was going for with my makeup; I just said I wanted to be the prettiest possible version of myself. She kept my look natural but it was still definitely special and I got lots of compliments! All of my bridesmaids were happy with their hair as well.

Mandy Hernandez is a fabulous hair and makeup artist! I booked her for my Bridals and wedding and used my bridals as my trial. The prices are very fair and worked perfect with my budget! Mandy is willing to meet you at your convenience and will create any look you want for your wedding and offer suggestions if you are unsure about something! I recieved a lot of compliments about my hair and makeup! The look lasted all night long throughout all the walking around and dancing! The day of Mandy was even able to come in and bring an assistant to work on the bridal party (they all looked beautiful) I would recommend Mandy to any bride looking for a hair makeup artist!

Mandy fixed my daughter's hair for her wedding day, April 19th at The Wildflower Barn. Mandy is very professional, very nice, listened to what my daughter had in mind for her hairstyle and did her hair perfectly! My daughter looked absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended !!!

Mandy did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. I'm a redhead so sometimes it can be tricky but she completely listened to what I wanted. She also did all my bridesmaids and we had time to do some of the moms. Everyone was really happy with their look. I have never had my makeup done on time, look that good, and be that affordable. She's the best!

Mandy did my makeup and hair for my wedding day as well as my mom's and sister's. I found her name on my photographer, Amelia Tarbet's blog because I loved one of her bride's updos. We all loved the way we looked and received compliments all night long. I did a trial run and it was totally worth it because we got to meet Mandy beforehand and get an idea of what we wanted. I'm glad I did a trial run because I ended up going in a different direction on the day of the wedding. Sometimes what you think you want 3 months before the wedding is not always what is best! Mandy was so understanding and worked well with our crammed wedding-day timeline. She brought a second artist on the day of the wedding because of our limited amount of time and it worked out perfectly. We had one minor glitch with false eyelashes, but I blame my contact lenses and NOT Mandy! Everything worked out fine and I love the photographs that I've seen so far. I cannot wait to see the rest!
