We used Mandy Mayberry for our wedding at Mt. Hope Farm in Bristol, RI on July 20, 2013. Mandy was an absolutely lovely person and an amazing photographer, for an awesome value. ...
From the moment we met Mandy, we felt extraordinarily comfortable with her and her photography philosophy (using a mix of film and digital) was something we really valued. She was very responsive to any and all emails we sent and was so patent and helpful with each of our questions. On the day of our wedding, she made us feel so comfortable and calm and we didn't for a moment feel awkward or strange as she took our pictures. Mandy was humorous and fun and was able to "keep up" with our witty and sarcastic wedding party. And, although I'm not certain when she left for the evening, by the looks of the pictures she sent to us, she certainly stayed longer than she originally said she would! The pictures themselves are stunning. The washed out, colorful, crisp look to her photographs are so beautiful and thanks to her, we now have a ton of stunning pictures to show off. We have yet to order a album from her, but we plan to do so soon as they are also stunning. We are recommending her to everyone we know and we look forward to using her again soon.. perhaps one year anniversary pictures!
AMAZING! Mandy was not my photographer for my wedding but we did use her for family sessions! We were extremely happy with our pictures as well as her personality!
She was the best! We interviewed so many people and when we met her we knew she was the best! She works with her husband and you can tell she loves what she does. She shoots with b...
oth film and digital too! She's up for any picture, was lots of fun and even took pictures of and gave out these cute Polaroids to our guests as an instant wedding memento.
I am getting married next year in Rhode Island and am in the process of selecting wedding vendors for the big day. Since I currently live on the West Coast, I am looking for vendor...
s who are very reliable and dependable. While in Rhode Island on a trip in June, my fiancé and I wanted to have our engagement pictures taken. A month before arriving in Rhode Island, I tried to call Mandy Mayberry to see if she would be able to schedule a time for an e-session. Since the two phone numbers I found for the studio did not work, I tried to contact Mandy through her website. After receiving a message indicating that her website was under construction, I then sent her an online contact form via email requesting her to contact me in regards to setting up an engagement shoot. A couple of days later, I was contacted by Mandy and after a few exchanges an e-session was tentatively scheduled for June. During the next few weeks, I tried multiple times to contact Mandy to get additional details on the exact location(s) and time of the photo shoot. As I was only going to be in RI for a brief amount of time, the engagement shoot had to be done within a specific timeframe. Since I did not have a working phone number for Mandy, I asked her multiple times to give me a call so we could discuss the details of the e-session over the phone, but she did not call me. After arriving in RI and still having not heard back from Mandy, I began to worry that my fiancé and I would not be able to get our engagement pictures done while we were there. I was extremely stressed and confused about why Mandy wasn't getting back to me. Finally the morning of the intended e-session, Mandy replied to my original email. When I told her that I was concerned and that we need to discuss what had happened with the miscommunication, Mandy indicated to me that it did not seem like we were a good fit and encouraged me to look for a different photographer. I was very upset and shocked by this response. It seemed to me that she was not as concerned about her lack of communication as she should have been. Because of her lack of concern and the stress the situation caused me, I felt the need to post this review because last thing any bride needs is added stress from their vendors.

ends, family, and acquaintances all commented on how marvelous she was, and how they wish they had hired her for their wedding. I can't thank her enough for the timeless treasures she left us with. A thousand times over I will recommend her. She also got us published in our local wedding magazine, and again on an online blog. yay!!
We just had our wedding at Oceancliff, and by far, Mandy was the best decision we made for our wedding. As soon as I saw Mandy's website, I knew I had to have her! Our photos are f...
antastic- works of art. And the whole experience with her was so fun. From the bottle of wine to the beautiful disc packaging, everything was just so luxurious! I can not wait to see how the album turns out! Thank you soooo much Mandy!!
Anyone who has priced professional wedding photography recently knows that encapsulating your day in still images comes with quite a hefty fee. And I would guess any couple that is...
happy with their wedding photographer’s work will tell you that this “fee” was one of the best and most worth-while investments of their wedding day (you wear that dress once, ladies!). Mandy Mayberry is an investment, and you will leave with so much more than pictures. From preliminary meetings to our engagement session and all the way up to our wedding day, Mandy (and Joe) treated us as though we were the only wedding on their books (and as a June wedding, we certainly were not!). Mandy’s genuine excitement for us put us at ease, and her willingness to help us customize a photo-package that fit our needs and budget only made us more certain that we had chosen a great photographer. Professional, approachable, organized, and athletic (it’s hard work chasing a wedding party all day!), Mandy and Joe effortlessly blended into the background of our day while capturing it from every angle. My husband and I could not be more thrilled with the gifted eye and caring spirit of Mandy Mayberry Photography! We are so thankful to have had Mandy involved in our wedding, and we sincerely look forward to her photographing our family as we grow.
Mandy just emailed me asking to review her- I can't believe I didnt think to do it before!!
When it's all said and done with, the only thing left after the wedding is the photos...
. And I'm so happy we hired Mandy Mayberry for our wedding! Our photos are absolutely amazing! My maid of honor told me of all the wedding photos she had seen, ours really stood out and put others to shame! And we were on a budget! Not only are my photos great, but Mandy is a doll. She is incredibly easy to work with and truly listened to what we wanted. I wanted good photos, but I didn't want to spend my wedding posing for photos. Mandy and Joe got in and took the formal photos in an efficient manner so we could spend our wedding day stress free and having fun. Mandy Mayberry really delivered! She also took our engagement photos at a local park that turned out absolutely fabulous. I'm very happy with the photos and the way the whole day went. Mandy was professional, polite, and created photos we are happy to show off on the wall and in our album!
There's always one thing that is most important to a girl on her wedding day and for me it was the photography because once the big day is over that's really all you have left...th...
e memories. So, it was important to have someone great! I did a lot of research on different photographers in the area and when I came across Mandy Mayberry Photography I knew I had a winner. Mandy's work was the same caliber as the other photographers that I had looked into but her prices were half of what everyone else was charging. Mandy did a FANTASTIC job on my bridal portraits and our wedding. She was very personable and has a real passion for what she does. She pays attention to the every detail, which was definitely nice as the day went by way too fast and some things that I missed she was able to capture. Everyone was definitely impressed with her work and I can't say enough positive things about her and the experience!

at the photos. As we show the pictures to our friends, they all comment on what a great job was done and they want her number. I would most definitely recommend Mandy, and I will use her again for other family times we want to preserve.
Mandy and Joe are absolutely amazing to work with. Their personalities mesh great with everyone. Once the wedding was over we had so many people asking who the photographers were, ...
and commenting on what an amazing job they did. They are in such a league of their own! Definitely not your typical stand around and pose and look happy photographers, they make sure you have fun and the smiles and pictures are genuine and real! I can't say enough about MM, I recommend them with the highest regard, and I guarantee you will be blown away at the quality of work you will receive!
We are overall extremely happy with this vendor. We felt that photography was our most important vendor, and she didn't dissapoint. The pictures are stunning. I'm trying to get the...
m submitted to magazines they are that good! I was a little anxious to get them though- Mandy took about 6 weeks to get them to us, but it was definitely worth the wait. I would love to give her 10 stars, but only room for five :) Oh, and her second shooter, her husband, is really good too!
Our photos are so chic and lovely! They worked their butts off for our wedding day and our pictures are beautiful. No complaints here, 5 stars for our favorite vendor of the day!
We hired Mandy after reading the tons of good reviews on the message boards. They were right, she is a great photographer. We love our pictures and she was awesome on our wedding d...
ay. I want to also say that she helped us a lot with our other vendors too. Her husband was with her on our day and I dont think either of them sat down the whole night. Our pictures are bright and colorful, and just overall great.
Mandy and Joe shot our June wedding, and they did such a great job! Months later, we're STILL getting so many compliments on our wedding photos. We got over 3000 back! And each and...
every one of them was beautiful. They even stayed so late to get some night shots. Hire Mandy!
