Mandy is amazing! She is a true artist, taking her time to make each and every person in your bridal party look and feel beautiful. Mandy is not only an amazing artist but a wonder...

Mandy was AMAZING! I feel like such a lucky bride that she was available for my wedding day. My hair and makeup were absolutely perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone want...
ing to feel stunning on their wedding day!
Mandy is incredibly talented! One of my bridesmaids used her for her wedding a year before mine and I was struck by how awesome everyone looked and how easy to be around Mandy was....
I knew immediately that I wanted to use her. I have had many bad experiences getting my hair and make up done for formal events, so I was nervous about this piece of my day, but i had no need to be. Many listened to and delivered exactly what I wanted. All my bridesmaids looked beautiful as well! Many of them were nervous for someone else to do their make up but in the end they were all thrilled with the result. At times, Many can be hard to get a hold of, but i would use her again in a heartbeat and I would recommend her to anyone!
Mandy made me look like a model for my wedding day. She did my hair and makeup and made my jaw drop when I looked in the mirror, I could not believe it was me. I was floored by her...
work. She even did the mom’s hair and everyone loved how it turned out. She can do any kind up up do you ask for and make you look like a celebrity for your big day. Professional makeup looks a lot better in pictures and makes them turn out so much better, you will regret not having it done. Mandy also allows you to have a trial experience before your event so she can prove how awesome she is. Splurge a little, you will be glad you did!
I used Mandy as my makeup artist for my wedding last year. She was fantastic!! She came highly recommended to us. Unfortunately I waited too long to call her until 2 months befo...
re our wedding date and she was booked solid. So I had to book with another makeup artist instead. Much to my surprise, the other makeup artist backed out on me at the last minute (I will post my experience about her on here too), and left me hanging 2 weeks before the wedding! Needless to say I was frantic! Out of pure desperation, I called Mandy again to explain and she is there was ANYTHING at all she could do to help me. She listened patiently and was so comforting! And it wasn't even her fault! She assured me she would see what she could do and would call me back by end of day. She did as she promised and offered to come to my home and start at 5:30 am to get us in. I was SHOCKED! I was SO excited and impressed that she would do that! I immediately booked a trial run appointment with her (which I HIGHLY recommend) and all the anxiety went away when I saw how beautiful she made me look. Her technique is beautiful and flawless!
On my wedding day, she came on-time and did the makeup for me, 4 bridesmaids and my mother. My mother had a stroke 20 years ago leaving half of her face paralyzed. She was extremely apprehensive to have her makeup done as she always feels "lop-sided" and extreme self-conscious. Not only did Mandy made the experience stress-free and perfect, my mother looked & felt gorgeous and has never felt better about her pictures in over 20 years!
I can honestly say that having Mandy as my makeup artist was one of the BEST vendors I had for our special day. Even though the other artist backing out was stressful, I am happy it happened so I could have Mandy which I'm sure did a much better job anyway. I HIGHLY recommend her to any bride. The wedding day flies by so quickly, and we plan so hard to make everything just right. So picking the right people is key. Choose Mandy and you will not only LOOK beautiful, but have an easy, enjoyable time doing it!

I would highly recommend Mandy to anyone looking for a hair/makeup artist for their wedding. Thanks Mandy!!

ful. She did not disappoint! Over a year later I still have women say, "OMG, you looked so awesome in your engagement pics--and your hair!!!". She enhanced the right features for a natural look--that was still me, just amplified.
Recently I was a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding--and Mandy again worked her magic to make me look awesome.

d away feeling beautiful!!
She's so talented that I just sat down and said "do what you think would look best; I trust you" ... She did & it was better than I could've imagined. I received so many compliments on my makeup .... It stayed on for the entire day, and never smudged or wiped off. It was amazing. Honestly, after the wedding, I didn't even want to take it off ... It lasted the entire next day and still looked fresh!
Mandy is wonderful, punctual and such a pleasure to work with. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

est, prior to working with Mandy, I was more worried about my hair for my wedding than anything. I have never had a good experience with other hair stylist who did my hair for other events. I never was satisfied or felt like I looked like myself. Not only did she take the time to come all the way out to my house for THREE hair trials, but she did such a good job that she made it almost impossible to choose between them. My hair and makeup on my wedding was exactly how I imagined....actually better! I have never felt so beautiful. I got so many complements on how natural and fresh my makeup looked. Not to mention the hair! I have naturally thin hair and wearing it down made me a little nervous how it would hold up. It looked thick and gorgeous! My hair and makeup looked just as good at the end of the night (actually the next morning!) as it did when I left my house. Mandy is not only a great hair and makeup artist but she also was a joy to be around. She had a way to make me feel so relaxed on the wedding day. I knew I was in great hands. I would recommend Mandy to any bride. In fact, I would be glad to use her for any other special event I have coming up. The entire experience was WONDERFUL!

l level made her a joy to work with. She made me feel special while also making my bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandma look fabulous. The make up services she provided for me (air brush) stayed on ALL DAY (about 9:30 AM to midnight). My hair was gorgeous all night long, even after we took off my veil. She came to our location at 6 AM to get started, making it through 2 make up applications, 1 air brush make up application, 1 bridal hair, plus 5 bridesmaids' hair in 5 hours. She was so convenient to work with, and it really just made our day so much more relaxed to know we were in good hands. I highly recommend Mandy to any other brides out there. On top of all those good things, she also only uses cruelty-free beauty products, if that is something you are into.

he did such an amazing job on not just me, but my mom and bridesmaids! I don't have enough good things to say about her, but work with her!! You will not regret it!! This girl is one in a million :)
I contacted Mandy to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She took a while to get back to me but eventually she called me and discussed my wedding with me. After talking she state...
d that she would do my wedding, she would book my date, and that I should expect a contract soon. I hung up with her very excited to work with her and looking forward to getting the contract. 5 days later, I hadn't heard from her. I tried calling, emailing, and texting and she only responded via once and didn't tell me when to expect the contract. Another 3 days later, I left a message stating that I was getting concerned because of our lack of communication and me not having received the contract. The next day she sent an e-mail saying she "isn't a good fit" for my event. How unprofessional! I couldn't believe that she kept me hanging for a week and half waiting for a contract and then dismissed me via e-mail. I was so disappointed. I would be cautious using her based on her lack of communication.
Mandy did my makeup for my wedding this past July, and there's no doubt she was the best choice I could have made. I even changed my mind about what I wanted last-minute, and she m...
anaged to nail it perfectly. Not only was my makeup stunning beyond what I even imagined, but she was incredibly friendly and fun to work with. All my bridesmaids had a blast asking her for tips and tricks and some even decided they couldn't pass up a chance to get their makeup done by her as well. Mandy is professional, sweet, funny, and talented beyond belief. I recommend her to everyone, in fact, my best friend used her the next month at her wedding!

he is very fun, energetic, and professional. My girls loved her and we ALL looked amazing. I was just in a wedding last month and after the wedding my girlfriend told me she wished she would have had Mandy do all the hair and make-up because she did a way better job than the girls she hired.
I would highly recommend her and I am very picky when it comes to my hair and make-up. She will do exactly what you want and she will make you look stunning!!

looking for, she was such a pleasure to be around. She was super accommodating to my fiance, who tagged along so that we didn't have to take two cars to the photo session, and so easy to work with! She made the whole experience enjoyable with a relaxing atmosphere so I felt super pampered and stress-free. My fiance commented that it was totally worth the money to have me feeling so good and ready on time! Ha ha ha
Mandy did an amazing job at my wedding. She was extremely friendly and professional. I looked amazing on my wedding day.

ther of the groom, the maid of honor, and the bride. Everyone looked BEAUTIFUL! However, I must say, I FELT beautiful! The airbrushed makeup made me look so good in the wedding photos! I received so many compliments from my friends. They wanted to know what my secret was. Well, my secret was Mandy McKenna! Our oldest daughter is getting married in 2014, and you can count on the fact that we have already had Mandy save the date for us in her calendar! Book her services today, you won't regret it.
One of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding was having Mandy there for hair and airbrush makeup. She (along with a colleague) did my hair and makeup, 6 bridesmaids hair (...
and makeup for 2 of them), makeup for the MOB, and hair & makeup for the MOG. I felt absolutely beautiful on my big day! I actually had changed my mind after having my bridal trial - changing my hairstyle from an updo to half up/half down. She helped me decide which clip in hair extensions to buy. Then the day of the wedding I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she executed it flawlessly - it was exactly what I had pictured! My makeup lasted all day and she even gave me a little touch up kit for the lips.
Not only is her work phenomenal, she is the sweetest person. Great to work with! My sister is planning on having her do hair/makeup for her wedding next year as well!
Mandy was wonderful! From the first trial for hair and make-up at my house it was perfect. Loved me hair, it stayed all night long without any problems! And I have never felt as b...
eautiful as I did after Mandy finished with my makeup. If possible, she did them both even better on my wedding day. Everyone of my bridesmaids looked stunning and on top of it all, she was simply a lot of fun to work with. I have since been to another wedding where Mandy did the makeup for the bride and once again, it was perfect. I cannot say another wonderful things about her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a hair and makeup stylist for their wedding day or any other special occasion!!

as well as hair + makeup for my mom. Everyone turned out beautiful. Mandy is very sweet + energetic, and I was very happy to work with her.
Mandy's work is incredible! She did hair and makeup for my wedding and rehearsal dinner. She was extremely professional, efficient, and very helpful. She brought everything she ...
needed with her to my two different locations; this was so convenient and made everything less stressful. I don't think my makeup or hair has ever looked better in my entire life than when Mandy did it! The hair styles for my flower girls (3) and bridesmaids (3) were original and lovely. Upon request, she generously offered the names of some makeup products she used on me and thought would be super for future use. I can't say enough great things about this talented artist. Book her and be confident that she will make everything perfect. HIGHLY recommend Mandy! She is amazing!

e drove to St. Louis from Kansas City to do my trial and met me and my wedding party at my hotel at 7am the morning of the wedding, so she is very accommodating! Mandy is so professional, so talented, so down to earth and so much fun!! .....did I mention so much fun?! I highly recommend Mandy for your hair and makeup needs whether your the bride or a bridesmaid, mother of the bride, etc.... she is first class!!!! :)

irst practice run, I could tell it was going to be the right thing for me. She was prompt and professional, and did a great job of making me feel calm on my special day. My mother actually posted a picture at her desk at work, and someone thought it was a cutout from a magazine - if that doesn't show the makeup was perfect I don't know what would!
Thank you Mandy for making me look and feel so beautiful for the wedding! I wish I had more excuses to use you :)

ered! Mandy came to my house for my trial run and right away I felt like I knew her forever, she was very easy to talk to. On the day of my wedding I actually decided to change my hair to something else and loved everything about it. Not only was my hair absolutely amazing my make-up was beautiful. I had the air brush make done and my make up lasted all night with out having to do any touch ups in between. Mandy did three of bridesmaids and they looked amazing! Mandy truly is a make-up ARTIST, she is very professional in her work but also so down to earth! I loved everything she did and would highly recommended her. I can't thank Mandy enough for all she did for me and the bridal party. Even after my wedding people are still talking about my hair and make up!

bride to be. She always responded quickly to emails and calls, and and on my big day she was on time and completed my hair and makeup perfectly in the time allotted. I could not have been more satisfied with Mandy's services! :-)
Mandy was fantastic in every way, prompt, professional, and kept me smiling through my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with my schedule to have the trial coincide with our engageme...
nt photos and even redid my hair so it would be different than the wedding it's self. She was able to figure out exactly what I wanted based on my less than stellar descriptions and a few pictures and had some fantastic suggestions of her own. I've never felt more stunning but still comfortable and not "over done". I only wish I could come up with another reason to have her do my hair and make-up again.
I just confirm everything good that has been said about her. I absolutely recommend Mandy for your bridal service or any service!! Great professional and person to be around.
I would highly recommend Mandy McKenna to any bride. She did hair and makeup for me, my two maids of honor, and my mom; and make-up for my 5 other bridesmaids. Working with her was...
really easy, which was important to me since I was a" long distance" bride. For the trial runs, she was very accomodating to my hectic schedule (a Saturday and a Friday night). I also switched things up on her quite a bit (I switched 2 regular makeup applications to airbrush, added two updos at the last minute, added eyelashes for a bridesmaid) and she didn't bat an eye. She even found hypoallergenic lash glue for me! And the best part about working with her is that Mandy has such a bright and fun personality (and great sense of humor--she got to hear some very embarrassing stories about me from my bridesmaids and laughed heartily with us). I felt comfortable around her, which is important, because you spend a lot of time with your hair/make-up artist on your wedding day. She even touched up my makeup for me after I had a heavy tears-of-joy moment after first look photos with my fiance. She also provides you with extra lipgloss so you can reapply throughout the night.
In short, Mandy made me (and my mom and bridesmaids) look and feel so incredibly beautiful. She is talented, professional, and fun!
Mandy took my vintage inspired look to a new level, I couldn't have been happier with the final result! I gave her ideas and she was able to put her personal twist on them, which ...
was wonderful. Although she moved 4 hours away, she was able to facilitate my schedule for both the trial and big day without a hitch. She is very personable and a wonderful stylist. I got so many compliments the day of and felt absoultely beatiful! I would recommend her to anyone, worth every penny!
I spent many days researching hair and makeup artists for my wedding and chose to go with Mandy-I am so glad I did! She did hair and makeup for myself and my whole wedding party. ...
She was AWESOME!!! She made me and all of my girls feel absolutely beautiful!! One of my bridesmaids asked for an "old Hollywood" look - I was AMAZED when she was finished...Mandy created the exact look she was wanting. I got numerous compliments throughout the night on how beautiful my makeup was...and hair was exactly like the magazine picture I gave her. The best part...my makeup and hair looked as good at the end of the night as it did right after she finished it. Her partner Michelle helped with the girls' hair - she was absolutely fabulous as well!! They were both SOOO sweet! I would recommend Mandy to anyone - you will not be disappointed!!!!!

en we met for our trial session, I wasn't really sure what I wanted my hair or make up to look like, and she did both even better than I could have imagined! My hair looked perfect with the style of my dress, and my make up highlighted the right features. When my husband saw me after the trial session and at our first meeting before the wedding, he was speechless. He was worried about the make up covering up my freckles, which he loves, but it didn't. I still looked like me, just better! She came to our hotel room that morning to work on both me and my bridesmaids, so it was very convenient! I highly recommend Mandy! She was a pleasure to work with, and she was able to make me look on the outside what I felt on the inside :)

sis. For my wedding, I wanted an even more dramatic look so I could feel extra special for that day. I had tried a few other vendors prior to meeting Mandy and didn't have much luck with them. The other people weren't able to create the look I was going for. But, Mandy easily accomplished this. For the hair, I was a little unsure exactly what I wanted, but Mandy worked with me to create a style that I felt looked best on me. She was so nice and sweet. She had so much patience with me. On the day of my wedding, I felt like I had another friend in the room getting ready with me. I received numerous compliments on how beautiful my hair and makeup looked!! I would 100% reccommend her to any other bride!! She will do an amazing job!!
I chose Mandy as my MUA for my wedding and I just want to throw in my two cents on why I think she is Awesome.
- She is very talented; a true artist.
- She is super cool.
- I ...
enjoyed the time I had my hair and make-up done because she was so nice to me and very easy to talk to.
- She was so helpful during our trial-run.
- She has a huge collection of quality make-up. I especially liked that she used an airbrush make-up system. If you choose to use this over regular foundation, you pay a bit more, but it goes on a lot lighter and you get more coverage and it doesn't feel as cake-y.
- I chose the package that included hair and make-up for my mom and sisters. EVERYONE was satisfied with their hair and make-up. They looked so fabulous, that made me feel so good! =)
That said, I'm a happy bride because I looked like a princess at my wedding. There were so many other wedding-related details I was worried about and luckily my hair and make-up weren't one of them. I consider myself very lucky I found someone this talented. I'm really glad she was so helpful. It made me feel a whole lot better.

ofessional and has mastered makeup and hair! On top of all of the that, she has the greatest personality! We had a 12 hour wedding day and my makeup and hair still looked fabulous at the end of the night! My husband even commented on it . :)

andy made time to come to my parent’s house and give all 3 of us trials so we could look amazing for the rehearsal dinner. She really listened to what we each wanted and offered suggestions on what would fit with our overall looks. On my wedding day, she had taken great notes that she was able to duplicate exactly what we had for the rehearsal – I’ve never seen my mom look so glamorous! Additionally, we had some drama with the ladies we had hired for my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup and Mandy stepped in to take care of the damage they left! She is not only able to handle any stresses thrown her way on your big day, but super sweet, incredibly professional, and beyond talented! HIGHLY recommend her!
Mandy was absolutely spectacular on my big day! I'd worked with her before so I knew that she was an excellent stylist but I was completely thrilled to find that she specifically ...
tailored each of my party's looks to them. No look alikes here! My sister and best friend each have their own sense of style and she made them look and feel gorgeous and while staying true to their individuality. She was fun, exciting to work with and talk to and the results were glamorous and very elegant but not overdone. Mandy was absolutely perfect. My sister and and best friend raved about how beautiful they felt both that night and for days after, and I felt utterly gorgeous, as well. I love looking at the pictures and feeling such immense pleasure with how I looked! I would recomment Mandy to anyone without hesitation.

t come to whatever location we were at sounded like an amazing idea! Why would I want to drag 8-10 people to a salon when Mandy would come to us! Mandy always responded to my questions quickly and listened to each person's ideas and made suggestions to make them even better. She made time in her schedule to do my hair and makeup trial on the day of my best friend's wedding (2 birds, 1 stone!) and we had so much fun. The day of the wedding, she and a collegue came to our hotel suite, totally unphased by my 100lb lap dog, last minute wedding crafts, and a slew of people running in and out all morning, and did beautiful hair for my bridemaids and mom and my hair & makeup. I may be a little biased, but I most definitely had the hottest looking wedding party in history. :-) Mandy is definitely a skillful hair and makeup artist, but is also friendly and fun to work with - which is what a bride needs to de-stress on the big day. I would recommend Mandy to anyone without hesitation.
Thank you Mandy for helping make my day so amazing by making us all look and feel amazing!
