Catering our son’s wedding was an absolute joy. The food was Wildest expectations. Excellent, the chef was extremely professional. We were very happy !! delicious healthy food —great presentation.

Such a delicious spread, visually stunning, fresh and very tasty.

Sarah was FANTASTIC. Food was delicious and she was very accommodating with our menu choices. Communication leading up to the event was incredible, professional and prompt. You can’t go wrong!!

My husband and I hired Sarah Chianese and her impeccable team to cater our annual fall gathering, a complicated all-day production for 125 guests that includes lunch, a charcuterie setup, dinner, and dessert. This was the third year running (with 2020 skipped due to the pandemic) that Mangia & Enjoy! handled the event, and as spectacular as the first year was, the team has somehow managed to outdo themselves in each of the succeeding years. Their love for what they do, their culinary wizardry, their sublime attention to detail… we never cease to be dazzled by it all. Likewise our guests, who every year heap superlatives on us about the food and the friendly, top-notch service. We simply can’t say enough good things about Sarah and company, and we wish every host the joy of having M&E! handle their event!

Sarah and her team were wonderful. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, came early, and took all the stress of our big day away. Not to mention that the food was absolutely delicious. My mother-in-law is still talking about the desserts! I could not recommend Mangia and Enjoy more highly.

WOW!!! I'm still fantasizing about this meal. Sarah is a food GENIUS and I will be working with Mangia and Enjoy as soon as I can! I knew from the moment we spoke that my friends and I were in incredible hands. Creativity: off the charts for one of the most hilarious and brilliant cake designs I've ever seen. The Food: 10/10, exceeded even the highest of expectations. Most definitely the BEST salmon I've ever eaten. MOST delish carrot cake. Heavenly sweet, gingery carrots that I hid from the other 15 women so I could have leftovers the next day. There was not one miss on that table. The only regret was not being able to share this with even more people that night.

Sarah completely saved me, I called her about a week and a half before my wedding desperate to find a Friday dinner and Sunday brunch caterer. She came out of nowhere with complete five-star dining for over 100 people at the very last minute. You don’t know how many people have said to me that it was the best breakfast they’ve ever had. Her stuffed French toast, the thick cut bacon, the duck egg platters.. i’m seriously going to be thinking about this breakfast for the rest of my life. And the fact that she put it on for 100 people, just totally insane. She was also so accommodating to anything I needed, helped me organize the entire thing, and even helped calm me down with all my wedding jitters. I cannot possibly recommend Sarah and the team at Mangia and Enjoy more enthusiastically. Thank you!

I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Sarah and the Mangia and Enjoy team. To start, she absolutely saved us when our previously hired chef bailed with a WEEKS notice. Not only did Sarah jump right in, calling me immediately for a 45-minute chat about menu options, but she turned around an even better evening than we could have initially ever imagined. We hired her for my sister’s bachelorette party of 20. She leaned into our “emo night” theme with a delicious meal, gorgeous cake, and very special bread (please ask her about the bachelorette bread. It will not disappoint). So the big night is here and, guess what… she saves my ass again. We showed up to our AirBNB after a heavy storm to realize we have no power. The oven isn’t hooked up to the generator. Sarah Doesnt. Even. Skip. A. Beat. She’s like “okay - we’ll improvise.” When I tell you we had the best, most beautiful candlelit dinner, I am not exaggerating in the slightest. Please do yourself a favor and hire them for whatever occasion you’re thinking of. She will not only deliver, but go above and beyond, exceeding all your expectations. I’m so happy I did!

Review title: Sarah will make it perfect. We were sent Sarah's way by a dear person who officiates weddings and Sarah's name came alongside a couple of other suggestions, with different price points and styles, etc. But Sarah was the only one that our friend would blindly vouch for... we didn't look further and didn't even consider anyone else. Sarah is the absolute best and everything was perfect: the initial conversations, planning the ceremony, planning the menu, discussing pricing and options, the logistics (ovens and stoves and grills, fridges, renting equipment.... even this bit was fun), meeting the team, the execution, the service, the food, the wrap up. Sarah really helped make our wedding perfect, sharing what works and what doesn't, beautiful ideas and alternatives so that we could choose something that was ours - everything done with so much love and care and really really really catered to how we wanted it but hadn't thought through. I can literally remember everything about the food, the cheeses, the fruits, the roasted lamb, the shrimp saganaki, the patatas bravas, the panna cotta! and so can our guests! Thank you so much Sarah and we really hope to see you again very soon!

Choosing Mangia and Enjoy was the best choice. Sarah is the most detailed person who really listened to who we are as a couple and what was important to us and made sure that everything was just perfect. We had a very small wedding with both vegetarian and meat lovers and she created the most delicious menu to cater to this mixed crowd. She is the most professional chef and also the warmest and sweetest person. The display of the food with flower touches was beautiful. The cocktail hour was full with sweet and savory bites that everyone loved. She also brought in a team to help her that was amazing to ensure everything was coming out on time. Sarah truly made this day special, her food is made with top ingredients for the best flavor and wonderfully executed. From the seared tuna to the lamb, to the vegetables and potatoes to the shrimp saganaki which was to die for ! Thank you Sarah!!

Sarah and her team were AMAZING! They were super responsive and setting the details of the night was extremely easy. Absolutely unbelievable experience working with Sarah and her team for my 50th birthday feast !!! The food! The presentation ! The communication ! I felt like there was so much love put into everything . My guests were WOWWED! They couldn’t believe how beautiful and tasty it all was (over a week later and they are still talking about it !)!!! I hired Sarah and her team for a bachelorette party in Woodstock, NY. Let me start by saying she FAR exceeded my expectations, working with her was a joy!! From our initial phone call, I knew I found the right person! Mangia and Enjoy did an amazing job accommodating our gluten free bride and providing delicious food no one knew was actually GF! Her team was timely, tidy and respectful. From the moment they got there, the house smelt amazing and we knew we were in for a treat. The whole meal was fresh, colorful and yummy but the custom cake was the star of the show!! The bride could not believe this cake and we all went back for seconds! While I wish circumstances were different, the team did a wonderful job navigating the world of covid. We never worried about strangers entering our home for the weekend and felt very safe with the contactless service, leaving us a beautiful homestyle meal to enjoy in a satanized and clean kitchen. Look no further then Sarah and the team at Mangia and Enjoy!! They will far exceed your expectations too! I am already looking for reasons to go back to the area and hire them again 😀

Sarah was the private chef for a dinner during my sister’s bachelorette and she was phenomenal!!! Had great suggestions for the dinner and able to accommodate any allergies. The presentation was absolutely stunning!! There was a snowstorm and she worked with me every step of the way and kept in contact making sure we had a backup plan and would still have food regardless of the snow. Luckily everything turned out great and they made it through the snow-would absolutely work with her again!!

Sarah and her team were absolutely incredible! We hired her for my bachelorette party weekend to cater dinner for my friends and she went above and beyond! The experience was top notch and a true highlight of the weekend. First, the plating of the food was so creative and superb, everything was incredibly detailed and so fun to see! Second, the food itself was INCREDIBLE, my friends have a slew of dietary restrictions and she was able to accommodate every one of them, our meal was beyond what we could have hoped for and was so delicious. I would 100% recommend and hire her again if given the chance!

Sarah and the Mangia team are wonderful, I cannot recommend them enough for a wedding, event, or dinner party. She’s passionate about food and helping people make beautiful memories, and it shows (from start to finish!). I worked with her for my death of the 20’s themed bday/dinner party and the process was amazing. Food presentation was beyond gorgeous (edible flowers abound!), not to mention she is absolutely lovely.

Sarah and Danielle put together a feast the likes of which I’ve never seen to make my 40th birthday so incredibly memorable. They are so much more than caterers. They are artists whose medium is food. Everything they prepared was so beautiful and so flavorful, it all popped. No one could stop talking about the dinner. It wildly exceeded my expectations from the mouthwatering appetizers (hello bacon wrapped dates!) to the sashimi grade honey chipotle salmon to the gorgeous cake. I wanted an intimate meal that would feel as festive and celebratory as a wedding and they did just that. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

I had a group of 18 girls heading to upstate NY for my sister's bachelorette and since we still in Covid, I wanted to make sure we were still making the weekend extra special, even if we weren't going out on the town! I had this idea of a sit down / catered dinner, but was a bit nervous since I had sub-par experiences in the past with similar events. Let me just tell you, Sarah's team BLEW IT OUT OF THE PARK. From the first phone call, to the amazing leftovers we had (not too much, honestly the perfect amount!) the entire experience was incredible - no joke. Sarah spent 1 hr+ with me on the phone during our first chat which just proves how much she cares about all her events, big or small. She was so responsive up to the day of the event (which I love) and the girls who showed up to set it up were professional and so efficient!! They showed up exactly when they said they were and dinner was served on the dot! But I haven't even gotten to the food. The food was beyond. It's by SURE worth the price. Not only was it beautifully presented (the colors and flowers!) everything tasted like a 5 star restaurant. The girls kept looking at me, including the bride, during the dinner being like - where do you find this place?! The custom cocktail, all the sides, the main and the custom cake truly hit the nail on the head and made it so special for my sister.

I hired Mangia & Enjoy to cater a special dinner at my daughters Bachlorette Party. One of the only requests my daughter had for her weekend long party was a chef prepared dinner, so I started searching...... From the very 1st phone call with Sarah I knew that this caterer was extra special. Her energy and enthusiasm combined with the most delicious menu options basically "had me at hello" From the moment they arrived at our venue they went to work finishing preparing the most delicious menu selections. Every single dish was a work of art, both in its presentation and taste. Sarah also provided the most amazing cake! I was encouraged to provide details on what the most amazing cake could be for my daughter. It was almost to beautiful to cut into, but once we did we were glad because it was delicious! If you choose to hire Mangia & Enjoy for any event I promise you will not be disappointed!!

This was the absolute best catering/private chef experience I could imagine. The food was scrumptious, unique, beautiful, and so, so tailored to our needs. Everything was vegan, vegetarian, and organic -- perfectly pleasing the vegans and meat eaters in the group (including one VERY picky eater). The owner is kind, thoughtful, punctual, and super creative. The team was extremely health and safety conscious. We will always remember this experience.

We had an impromptu celebration and Mangia and Enjoy knocked it out of the park. We had steak (wow), salmon, ravioli (highly recommend) grilled veggies and various mushroom other steak sauces and toppings - but the real star was the focaccia bread. Kids & adults enjoyed this festive and flavorful meal. Sarah is amazing. She Over delivered for us. Would highly recommend for intimate or larger gatherings.

I contacted Sarah at the 11th hour to cater my daughters ever changing covid wedding. It was the best call I made. Not only was Sarah a dream to work with, she was extremely helpful in my finding the necessary rental company and guiding me through what was needed. And the food was fabulous! Beautifully presented and delicious! Hire Mangia and Enjoy!. You won't regret it. I couldn't recommend them higher.

This caterer is fantastic. Absolutely beyond thrilled to have chosen Mangia and Enjoy for our big day. The food was delicious and healthy as my wife is a bit of a health nut (in the best way) and Sarah made everything to her liking. And the portions were huge and delicious. Everyone was raving about the food. I couldn't have been happier and fuller!

Mangia and Enjoy was a perfect caterer for our wedding. I am vegan and my partner isn't and they accommodated all of our dietary needs! They were clean, friendly, and the food...oh my goodness! We wanted classic Italian flavors with some interesting spins on it and she came to us with a full fledged menu and worked with us closely and was there for whatever we needed. The presentation was gorgeous, so many colors and cute edible flowers! We should also mention that she was very upfront with us about price, this is a HIGH END catering company and that's exactly what we wanted. Mangia amd Enjoy exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

After accepting that we couldn’t have the wedding we originally planned for 10/10/20, we were pretty much back at square one two months before our date. We finally decided on an intimate event in Dutchess County. I am so happy we found Sarah. She was so nice, and so helpful in planning our event. She even helped us determine what rentals we’d need and where to get them. She was really great to work with. On top of all that, the food was incredible. It tasted amazing and it was severed beautifully (and according to covid guidelines). We also had plenty of leftovers, which my husband and I happily ate on our honeymoon in the following days. I am so happy we went with Mangia and Enjoy!. Our wedding felt nothing like the “plan b” it was. It felt like the wedding we were meant to have...and Sarah was part of making that happen.

Sarah is incredible! She created an absolutely exquisite seasonal, all-local spread for our 10-person wedding dinner this fall. It was great to work with her step of the way, from discussing flavors we had in mind, to developing a multi-course menu, to accommodating several dietary restrictions, to figuring out day-of logistics at our AirBnb. She set our expectations high and somehow managed to exceed them—the meal was unbelievable. Truly one of the best culinary experiences we’ve ever had. I can not recommend Sarah highly enough!! (PS—Planning a gathering in COVID times, it was also important to us to work with someone who also took health/safety precautions seriously, which Sarah did. She and her team wore masks and disinfected the kitchen before departing!)

Hire her! She is fabulous, friendly, super helpful, knowledgeable and very experienced. Sarah went above and beyond to help make our wedding day perfect. She consistently followed up with us and helped plan out everything down to even the tiniest details. We had a tight budget and she helped to make sure we weren't cutting corners that mattered. She hires the BEST people for the day of the wedding too! Each server we interacted with at our wedding was so friendly and ready to help out in anyway possible. The food is amazing and not your run of the mill wedding food that can be bland and boring. The crostini appetizers and all the entrees were colorful, tasty and most importantly, local. I've had multiple friends and family members say how delicious the food was and that it was the best wedding food they ate all season. Highlights would be the pesto bread, homemade raviolis and skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. Trust me, she's the best!

Highly recommend! I worked with Sarah to develop the menu for the evening and she was such a pleasure to work with! You can really tell that she cares about you, the type of event you’d like to have and having the right foods for you and your guests. She made me a signature cocktail which was amazing, lots of appetizers (the spread was so impressive that everyone couldn’t believe it), salad, fresh veggie sides, a seafood paella, and a cake. I loved that the ingredients were locally sourced in the Hudson valley and so fresh! There were a few people that had different dietary requirements which were all met with ease so they would have options available for them. I would definitely work with Sarah again for another event and look forward to being able to!

I hired Sarah to cater a private birthday dinner and she and her staff did an amazing job. I worked closely with her to design the menu (an "Around the World" theme) and it turned out wonderfully. She was very attentive to our needs (dietary restrictions and theme of the night), arrived on time, and prepared a delicious meal for 20+ guests. While slightly more expensive than other caterers, I would hire her again based on her personalized experience, quality of ingredients, and amazing meal itself. Thank you Mangia & Enjoy!

Working with Sarah for my birthday celebration was an amazing experience. Sarah was able to put together a dinner that incorporated details that we had discussed but then also surprised me with details that brought the dinner to another level. Sarah was great with working with special diets and allergies. Most importantly the dinner was so seamless and effortless I was able to have the best birthday experience ever!

It's hard to know where to begin in describing just how amazing our event was thanks to Mangia and Enjoy! I've experienced a fair share of top-flight caterers over the years, as both a host and a guest, yet Sarah somehow manages to take the art of catering to a level I wouldn't have thought possible. The pre-dinner hour included a cheese and "nibbles" smorgasbord, a visually stunning extravaganza the likes of which I'd never before seen, so spectacular that people were pulling out their phones to take pictures. Then came dinner. Each and every dish was so sublimely fresh and delicious, and so beautifully presented, that the food was practically all the guests could talk about. Seriously. Conversation at my own table kept coming back to how scrumptious everything was, and when I went table to table to make sure I saw everyone, more of the same: people were gobsmacked by the food. The quality Sarah brought to the dining was fully matched by the quality she brought to everything else: the staff, the rentals, all aspects of pre-event communication, adherence to the day-of schedule we'd laid out. She clearly loves her work, and everything she does is infused with that spirit. She CARES, deeply, which explains her tremendous attention to detail. A special word about the staff: what a diligent and attentive group of catering veterans. Each one was as warm, lovely and professional as the next. To be honest we were a bit worried about the cost – quality this high doesn't come cheap – but ever since that splendid day we've been so thankful we took the leap. Every last penny was a penny supremely well spent. Kudos to Mangia and Enjoy!!

We recently had the pleasure of have Sarah and her amazing team caterer an even at Windham Manor. As owner of a wedding venue i get to see how the caterers work behind the scenes and i was very impressed by the details they put into the presentation, as well as the quality of their food. We have put them on our vendor list and will recommending them to our clients.

Sarah helped create a magical meal for my 190 guests over 2 nights. I’m a vegetarian and had many guests with dietary restrictions and everyone had something to eat. During the planning process she was very attentive to the special requests I had to make sure everyone was well taken care of and able to eat. She also helped link me to many local vendors and the venue I ended up using - going above and beyond the roll of caterer during the planning process. The menu was a very collaborative process and we ended up with two totally different but excellent meals. The welcome dinner on the first night was a casual buffet that had plenty of choice for everyone - the baked potato bar with all the fixings was a particular hit. My favorite piece was the extensive grilled vegetable station. Then her pastry chef made two wonderful cakes - one decorated with a lotus flower and Buddha, and one as a cat - for a surprise birthday celebration. Then the wedding night was a family style dinner at seated long farm tables with 3 mains (meat, fish, and vegetarian), watermelon and tornado Saland, tons of fresh bread, and more vegetables. For the people who were vegan, dairy free, or gluten free (or anything else) she had special platters reserved without the elements (like panko or cheese) that were brought to those tables. Many guests with restrictions later told me they had never had such an easy time eating at a wedding - and were thrilled to have just as many options as everyone else. I received endless compliments on the quality of the food and no one went hungry over the whole weekend - my only regret is I didn’t eat another plate of macaroni and cheese.

Sarah and her team made our small event an absolute culinary delight from start to finish. She was very easy to work with and was able to even craft a menu with some of our families dietary restrictions. Everything came out even better looking than her pictures, from the focaccia and salads, to raviolis, scallops and pork osso bucco - it was all delicious the first time and even when we had it for left overs. The food service itself was very professional and she left the kitchen cleaner than when she arrived. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more. An amazing weekend was capped by her dinner and dessert - and my family (and our bellies) will never forget it.

I would highly recommend Mangia and Enjoy to ANYONE! AMAZING food and FLAWLESS execution! I was struggling to plan my New York wedding from Hawaii (six hour time difference and trying to call florists... no thank you) when I found Mangia and Enjoy. Sarah took the reins and coordinated literally everything. We had a small (~75 person) wedding reception in a lovely barn setting (read: limited facilities) and Sarah and her team pulled out all the stops and made my wedding day the best day of my life. I firmly believe that without her it would not have been so easy or magical. Mangia and Enjoy allowed me to absolutely relax on my wedding day (something that is not easy for me). Any small things that came up day of went completely unnoticed by me because her team was ON IT. Sarah is such an amazing human, trust the reviews before mine, SHE TRULY IS THE BEST!!!

Sarah and her team made the perfect Italian feast for my wife’s 40th birthday. It was a thoughtful, perfectly-executed and plentiful meal. I whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone planning an event in the Catskills!

This cooking lesson was more than expected. Even on the phone, Sarah’s energy was pure and exciting and I couldn't wait to meet her and taste her amazing food. I requested a dinner lesson for my sister’s bachelorette party and I wanted it to be vegan to show all of the ladies that you can be vegan and still eat well. The lesson is absolutely interactive with all ingredients laid out beautifully with edible flowers set perfectly. Not only do you get a cooking lesson (we had vegan paella) but you get to learn about the ingredients themselves and how they interact with each other. We also got to learn the perfect way to cut a bell pepper with no seeds! Overall its more than a cooking lesson. Sarah and her team are warm and friendly, and you can see the passion they have for food and for teaching everyone. We had more than leftovers to take home as well! We were well fed right at home while enjoying laughter and bonding with one another. I would recommend sarah for all types of events.

We hired Sarah for our wedding a couple of weeks ago and it was the best decision we made. The food was amazing and tasty and all our guests enjoyed it. The entire night went great and we would definitely hire her again. Thank you, Sarah!!

Somehow my review of Mangia and Enjoy went astray, so I am re-sending it. Sarah Chianese met with me to plan my 75th birthday celebration to be held at my home. The day of the party I was excited but calm knowing that everything was taken care of by Sarah and her excellent staff. The food was elegant and delicious! My friends and family are still raving about the food. Thank you, Sarah for making my day unforgettable.

I recently had the pleasure of being a guest at an unforgettable Mangia and Enjoy catered backyard party. The pleasure began the moment I stepped foot in the small backyard that had been transformed into the most welcoming and delightful summer space with the tasteful use of color and attention to charming detail. The spread of appetizers was a delicious feast in itself. The courses of the main meal offered all the satisfaction of comfort food made memorable by the disciplined restraint of a chef that knows how to let each carefully sourced ingredient sing. Of special note was the Osso Bucco for being so tender a knife was unnecessary. It melted in the mouth. I was shocked to later learn that chef Sarah is herself vegetarian. Her cooking is guided by smell, she tells me. What an excellent sense of smell! It is so rare to have good comfort food that is also good for you, free of the ill-effects of unhealthy and cruel husbandry practices. The green beans were picture perfect green, their bite a perfect crisp of lightly flavored yum. The cake, by all accounts (since I do not eat cake), was delicious without being too sweet. The whole event, from aesthetic start to delicious finish, was unforgettable.

Sarah and the rest of the Mangia & Enjoy team catered our Rehearsal dinner at a beautiful house we rented near our wedding venue. Not only was the food delicious and exquisitely prepared, but she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed on the eve of our wedding. She handled everything flawlessly. We will 100% be hiring Sarah and Mangia & Enjoy the next time we need a caterer in the Hudson Valley area. Everything was wonderful and we can’t recommend them enough!

Sarah and her crew were awesome. As the father of the groom I was incredibly impressed by the service, food and attitude by everyone! I’m still getting positive comments from my friends two weeks later. I would use them once a week if I was having any event. Awesome!!!

There are not enough words to describe the conviction I feel in my highest regards of recommendation for Sarah and her team member, Danielle. First of all, her food speaks for itself – there is care and affection in her cooking that you can immediately taste, and she does not take shortcuts in creating ‘easy flavors’ of the usual tricks. We enjoyed one hundred percent of the menu; there was no specific ‘highlight’ followed by mundane fillers. Second, Sarah genuinely enjoys her practice and it allows for an atmosphere of joyful abundance and gratitude. Most of all, her food is kind. Her food is literally kind to your body, but more so is Sarah’s intention; I was actually victim to an unprofessional Hudson Valley caterer’s cancellation two days before the event, and Sarah was sincerely expedient and responsive in putting together an unimaginable feast out of her already busy schedule. I don’t believe she would have done this except out of the goodwill of her empathetic heart, and that is the truly rare in this industry. Sarah made my bachelorette party SO special. The meal they prepared for us was one of the best I've EVER had - and they left us with leftovers for the whole weekend! She even surprised us with a special bachelorette shaped pizza :) She accommodated all of our dietary restrictions and used only local and super fresh ingredients - she is an incredibly talented chef and the meal was absolutely delicious. She is also incredibly warm and kind, and we had the best time getting to know her. HIGHLY recommend - you won't have to spend a second planning an evening activity because Sarah's meal is so delicious and fun. Super easy to work with. We will use her any time we are back in the area.

Hired Sarah and her team to cook dinner at my sister’s bachelorette party. We are big foodies - Italian family - so our standards are high. Sarah exceeded those standards! The food was absolutely delicious. She cooked an amazing meal and stayed to clean up (spotless!) after. Sarah is wonderful to work with and her attention to detail is incredible. Highly recommend!

Sarah and her team did a phenomenal job serving appetizers and dinner to a group of 16 for a bachelorette party. From initial planning to day of, Sarah was wonderful to work with and thought of every detail. Everything she made was both beautifully presented and delicious. This dinner was the peak of the trip and one we'll always remember- I cannot recommend enough!
