We wanted to make the day extra special and we could never have provided this without Hana. She took our wishes and desires and delivered an outstanding experience in a high quality, high caliber manner. It was awesome. She created a reception design that no one else had previously seen and it amazed everyone. Each phase was so different and interesting from cocktails to dinner to dancing and late-night snacks. The reception rocked with all her attention to detail and the incredible scenes Hana designed. Additionally, she made suggestions along the way that we had not contemplated and then executed these details effortlessly-- some even at the very last minute and that were critical to the success of the day. Hana focused on the event with our aspirations always in mind, so we could focus on our daughter and enjoy the special day. We thoroughly relished our own event because Hana had all the details handled. It was a perfect match and Hana totally exceeded our expectations on all fronts. Our guests are still talking about the event months afterwards. When your daughter gets engaged, your first phone call needs to be to Hana-- hands down and without question!

Hana did an amazing job with our wedding decor. Our sangeet had a beautiful backdrop, custom drapery, and festive centerpieces. For our Hindu ceremony, Hana created an amazing mandap covered in flowers. The centerpieces for our reception were insanely beautiful, and Hana suggested the perfect linens, which really pulled everything together. My only suggestion for brides-to-be is to make sure you are clear on what does or does not count as the design + style services. I had only met with Hana once in person and the rest was done over email and phone because I was coming from far away. It seems like we may not have communicated well because 4 days before the wedding I got an email that we would have to pay the design + style fee for what we wanted her help with for the sangeet and ceremony decor. That was probably fair for what we were asking, but it was overwhelming to get that information 4 days before the wedding when our budget was already somewhat finalized. However, Hana did work with me and we came to a plan we were both okay with. Overall, I loved working with Hana and her team. They were wonderful and my wedding was perfect.

I could not have asked for a more flawless wedding day. Hana was there from the beginning to the end of the night and did not leave a single detail unattended to! The wedding planning process would have been so overwhelming without her!

We worked with Mani Mela on linens/decor, wedding coordination, desserts, and hair/makeup. On linens and decor- Hana brought my ideas to life. When I walked into the room at my reception, I cried, because it was so beautiful and so much better than I ever could have imagined! All her suggestions were exactly on point. No detail was forgotten. On wedding coordination- When people ask, what is your biggest advice to brides? Book Mani Mela, don't take on the daunting task of being the go-to person on your wedding day. Weddings involve so much detail and logistical planning, Hana and her team took care of all that. One great example is the night before our wedding 3 of our guests informed us that they would not be able to come. I frantically emailed Mani Mela, and minutes later they responded that it was taken care of. On hair/makeup- My hair and makeup was absolutely stunning! They had great suggestions and worked with me during my preview to create the perfect bridal look. The morning of my wedding was so relaxing spending it with the Mani Mela team. On the dessert room- All our guests raved about the desserts!! They are perfectly bite- sized, delicious, and they offer a wide variety of kinds and colors. Mani Mela had the fantastic idea for creating a 'Dessert Room' as a surprise for our guests, and it was such a hit! All in all Mani Mela is going to give you, your groom, your family, and guests an amazing wedding experience. My sister-in-law hired Mani Mela as her wedding planner. I was her maid of honor, so I went to the initial meeting that was held with my sister-in-law and Mani Mela. Having planned my own wedding 4 years earlier (with a different wedding planner) I was very impressed with Mani Mela. They were professional, respectful and experienced. They listened to my sister-in-law's ideas for her wedding, as well as offered many unique ideas of their own. The initial meeting was a success. Fast forward to the actual wedding day, I was blown away. They took all the ideas my sister-in-law had and made them a reality. Mani Mela went above and beyond what was expected of them. They were extremely hands on, organized and thorough. I highly recommend them!

It became clear early on that it would be impossible for my daughter and I to plan the kind of wedding she had dreamed of. We met and hired Mani Mela. Every detail from the invitations to the brunch the day after the wedding was done by Hana and her wonderful team. Every detail was taken care of. Because of Mani Mela we were all able share in our daughters and son-in-laws day and be part of the wedding. Mani Mela didn't leave out one detail. Hana was so easy to work with, listen to our visions and thoughts and made them into the most beautiful day. She and her team were there to help us every step of the way from bridal fittings, picking out jewelry and being available every second of every day when the bride was stressing out. When the day of the wedding arrived I have never seen my daughter so happy and so calm. Thank you Hana for making my daughters dream come true. It will always be such a wonderful memory for all of us. I was not sold on using a wedding planner in the beginning. Now looking back I would recommend it to anyone planning a wedding. There are some companies that say they do wedding planning, but do not provide the full service that Mani Mela does. Thank you again, for making our day so very special.

Hana and her team did an amazing job with our hair and makeup. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen, and the team made my bridesmaids look stunning as well. It was a crazy hot day, and my hair and makeup looked great all day!

It was clear that Hana and the rest of the staff had more than just a vendor/client relationship with bride and groom - they cared about their special day like they were their own family.

I had Mani Mela do my hair and make up for my engagement session. Hana was so flexible with my schedule and she had several brides to do that day but she made the time to drive down to Rochester to do my hair and makeup. Once she arrived she made me so relax and took all my insecurities away. She was very professional and she knew exactly what color foundation to use on my face. I am Vietnamese and I've always had trouble finding the perfect shade of color however Hana did a wonderful job mixing foundations to find that perfect color. She uses air brush foundation which looks flawless in pictures. For my hair she did simple curls and teased my hair. I loved it. She went above and beyond on what I imagined my hair would be. It was a hot sunny day that day and I was afraid my make up and hair wouldn't last. I was wrong. My make up lasted for 8+ hours and my hair was still perfect. We just received our pictures back and they look AMAZING! Without Mani Mela I wouldn't have been happy with my pictures. I can't wait to use Mani Mela again for my wedding day. I highly recommend them and I highly recommend Hana. Hana knows her stuff and has great advice. She has a lot of patience and she takes her time with you. Totally worth the money.

I heard of Mani Mela through a family friend of ours and I was so happy that she told me about Hana and her company. Hiring Hana and her team at Mani Mela was the best decision we ever made. I wouldn't have been able to plan my dream wedding without the help of Hana. When we first sat down and met with Hana, she wanted to know everything about my husband and I and wedding details. (where we met, where and how he proposed, colors, etc.) From that moment, I knew we were going to get along great. She was professional, organized, and passionate about her job. She truly is a wonderful person and cares about her clients. My mom, my husband, and I told her exactly what we were thinking for the wedding. I told Hana that we wanted our wedding to be more of an Irish theme, because he proposed to me in Ireland. She loved our idea, and she even put together a powerpoint of what we talked about. She organized it into how the cocktail hour could look, the dinner room, and the dessert room. She was very open to our ideas! We wanted the cocktail hour to be like an Irish pub with Irish music playing. We also wanted to have an Irish beer toast, instead of a champagne toast. We really were going for something different. She and her company also designed our cocktail hour room, the dinner room, and the indulgent dessert room. We were so happy with everything she did! It looked beautiful! We met several times with her and she was always organized. She went above and beyond our expectations. WOW! She was and will be there for any of her clients if you ask her to be. We are still getting comments about how wonderful our wedding was. I don't think I could have ever planned my wedding without the help from Hana, Amanda, and the Mani Mela crew. They were so open to my ideas from day one when we met. My family and I are so happy with everything she did for us. We still talk and keep in touch, which says a lot about how wonderful Hana is as a person. Thank you everyone so much for making our wedding one of the best days of our lives. Other then my choice of groom, Mani Mela was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process:) Hana and her team are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. We had specific ideas for many aspects of our ceremony and reception and a lot of DIY elements. The consultants made excellent suggests about slight tweaks we could make to save time, energy and money, and they were excited about providing us with the day we envisioned. They are hands-on, extremely responsive and reliable and calm throughout the process. Honestly, it felt like help from awesome friends rather then just a company doing what they are paid for. They go above and beyond. Of course issues came up on the day of our wedding...like items my man and I forgot to bring. opps. The Mani Mela team jumped in right away with solutions. The venue screwed up the amount of chairs set out for the ceremony and the Mani Mela team advocated for me before I was even aware of the issue. It was also freezing that day and the team made sure I had hot tea to warm me up. So many things! And they are very sweet, and very professional.

Loved this group! They were willing to work with me for my preview to be done on my Bacherlorette party so the preview didn't go to waste. Jessica (makeup) and Kylee (hair) did an awesome job and got my bridal party done (3 full service, 2 makeup, 2 jr. hair) done with in minutes of our deadline for pictures. The artists didn't get frazzled and were able to assist one of my "over the top" bridesmaids (lol). I loved my hair and the makeup lasted ALL NIGHT and the next morning!!!! Great investment!

Hana is a truly talented and amazing wedding planner. Mani Mela is an incredible company. From the beginning, Hana helped inspire me to pick out themes and colors for my wedding events that made me so excited about every detail. Mani Mela really delivered my dream wedding - from the fun Moroccan themed Mehndi - with rich jewel colored linens and handmade flower jewelry to the royal Peacock Shahdee with gorgeous blue/purple orchid flower arrangements, frosted with crystals, impressive candy buffet, and everything tied together with a peacock feather on the back of each 350 chairs. Because of Hana, my wedding was picked to be one of Minnesota's 10 Perfect Weddings, and it really made me feel like a princess to have my wedding published in a magazine. Hana is so sweet and helpful. My mom became savvy with text messaging because of Hana, she helped decrease my mom's stress tremendously by texting her different "things to do" and checking in on her. I did my input of the wedding planning from the east coast and Hana made it seamless. She would email my mom and I different options, and we would reply with our choices, or requests - which she always filled. Mani Mela consistently provided creative ideas and high quality products - all delivered in a professional, organized, timely fashion. On the day of the wedding, there was a huge team of people making sure everything went smoothly. Hana's vibrant character made what could be very stressful, a very fun and enjoyable planning experience. On top of all the wedding planning, she is also a very talented makeup artiss. I worked with Hana at Mani Mela Weddings for day-of wedding coordination. I plan events for arts organizations on a daily basis and knew that I definitely wanted to plan my own wedding. However, I also knew that I would need help on the day of the event. So I splurged for a day-of coordinator and it was definitely worth it! Hana offers a month-of coordination package and this allows you to discuss your vision with her and explain every element that you will need assistance with. She did a walk-through of the ceremony site and reception site to ensure everything went smoothly. Hana, along with her assistants, took care of confirming the vendors, overseeing reception site set-up, setting up any little extras I had come up with, dealing with guests at the ceremony, cuing the music and assisting with the rehearsal. Mani Mela also took care of clean-up at the reception. This meant I could drive off to the hotel and didn't have to worry about packing up my candles or birdcages. They also loaded up my parents car with the gifts. Hiring a day-of coordinator was the best decision I made for the wedding and Mani Mela did a fantastic job.

I had a wonderful experience with everyone at Mani Mela. They calmed all my pre-wedding day jitters! Every aspect of my wedding was perfectly executed and I had nothing to worry about--they even packed my car full of gifts, and hand delivered my card box so that nothing would get misplaced!
