She came to my home for the trial day. Even with my 2 goofy dogs she was at ease and we had so much fun chatting and joking. She made suggestions to help with my every day face care routines so that I would have a flawless wedding day look and even sent me texts to remind me! The day of she was cool as a cucumber even with some hiccups along the way. Not to mention that the make up was B-E-A-Utiful. I have never felt so amazing. It was exactly what I wanted and she captured the exact look even though I didn't know how to describe it. She also did my mom's and maid of honor's make up and they could not have looked more beautiful. Ashley is amazing to work with. She is personable, passionate, funny, and most importantly talented. I loved working with her and will definitely contact her for any future make-up needs!

des I would say work with Ashley! Makeup is not only about thinking you look pretty but Ashley helped me feel beautiful! I just wanted to give two great examples of why Ashley is more than just a makeup artist. First, Ashley regularly checked in with me as we got closer to the wedding date, sending me tips and advice. Her makeup work was GORGEOUS on my wedding day, but I also felt all the more confident because of her advice, which kept me on track for making sure I supported myself and my self-confidence so that I’d be free to enjoy my day without worry. Second was how Ashley exemplified one of the most important qualities that I was looking for in all my wedding vendors (aka heroes). With all the personalities and emotions caught up in them, weddings seem to be one slip of the tongue away from clashes that you just don’t want to be dealing with as a bride. So, one of the criteria for selecting my wedding vendors (aka heroes) was that I needed to be confident that they’d be able to help handle all the personalities in room no matter what they threw at you. Ashley certainly delivered. I had a front row seat for how well Ashley was able to artfully deal with all the strong personalities across my husband and mine’s wedding parties. That was much appreciated, and allowed me to focus on enjoying the most special day of my life rather than worrying about managing personalities. Thank you, Ashley!

y emailed me back. Both of us having a slow evening, we ended up on the phone for a GREAT conversation. I vented about the wedding, and Ashley knowingly assured me all would be okay. The day of my trial, I immediately felt at ease with Ashley. One hug and several giggles later, I began explaining how I had no idea how to control my oily, dry, confusing, acne-prone, sensitive skin and at the same time look amazing for my wedding. Ashley looked at me calmly, laughed and said, (and this is quote) "we are going to figure this out"! AND WE DID! Not only did I get a lot of compliments at my wedding shower (she did my shower and wedding makeup) but the makeup lasted all day (the day had a high of 86 and I was definitely sweating). And the wedding? It was a crisp fall day in November (about 50s) My sister, mom, and I looked amazing even after all the dancing, crying (I'm a crier), and moving around. At 2am, I happily took a selfie with my sister and mom and sent the perfection her way in a text! I was over the moon! I'm not very good at explaining the kind of look I want (I'm not the most makeup savvy), but Ashley somehow maneuvered through my mumbling and gave me, my family, and my friends the BEST experience I could have imagined. She has such a calming presence, she works so well under pressure, she helps you with day-of timing so makeup runs smoothly, and she goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure you're feeling your best self. It was weeks of using her recommendations, checking in, and planning! In the end, she felt like family, and I could not recommend her more!

ith. She constantly has a smile on her face and emulates positive energy. Although I am a big fan of watching make up tutorials, I am pretty bad at my own application. For my wedding, I told Ashely I wanted to still look like myself but a better version of me—She freaking nailed it! I felt so glamourous the whole day. Also, the day of the wedding can be a bit stressful and sometimes family contributes to that stress. Ashley was so easy going and very accommodating by hopping from room to room to help do makeup for some of my family members. Lastly, I wish I had more formal events because I would absolutely hire Ashley to do my makeup again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

She was so attentive to everyone's requests from my bridesmaids to my mom. Everyone looked stunning and our makeup was still looking perfect after an entire day and a downpour of rain. On another note, Ashley is just an amazing person. She was there throughout the entire time we were getting ready. Stress can be high on your wedding day and Ashley is such a calming presence. Everyone loved her and she was so much fun. I can't recommend her highly enough. I have never felt more beautiful and confident thanks to Ashley's amazing work!!!

akeup was EXCEPTIONAL. I gave her a photo of Patrick Ta makeup and she recreated it perfectly down to the lip color. I've never looked so beautiful in my life. Second, she just really is a total doll. She was fun and spunky and had a great personality. All of my ladies who were getting their makeup done just loved her and she was an excellent addition to a really intimate experience. Lastly, she literally saved my life. I'm not from Chicago so I only met my hair lady the day before my wedding and she was downright awful. Here comes hero Ashley and she literally found me an exceptional woman to do my hair IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. I think all of us brides understand the magnitude of this. The long and the short of it is hire Ashley. You would be a fool not to.

The result was amazing, we all looked beautiful, natural and incredible in our pictures. From the young bridesmaids to the matronly women, she did an absolutely perfect job. st had coffee together to make sure it was the right fit, and I knew that she and I would get along right away! She's not only a fantastic person, but she also loves what she does and is fantastic at it. I had my trial, and although I loved the look, I thought it may be a bit too heavy for my wedding day. I communicated this to Ashley, and she was flexible in scheduling a second trial (first trial price goes toward final cost of wedding day services, anything after is additional charge, which is very reasonable!) to do a more natural look. I gave her a few pictures and told her I wanted a matte eye with smaller false lashes, and I was so incredibly happy with the end result. I don't wear a ton of makeup everyday, which made it even more impressive that the airbrush foundation didn't feel cakey or heavy on my skin (and it stays on all night!). I wanted to feel like myself- that was more important to me than liking how I looked in pictures. I don't think I have ever felt more beautiful than the day of my wedding, and this was in large part due to Ashley and her services! She was so easy to communicate with, and was incredibly flexible in making sure that I was happy with my look! Can't recommend her enough!

to winged eye - then smokey eyes to natural again. she made it happened very quick and just how I like it. She cleaned her brushes every often. She made sure I dont break out during the photoshoot and also followed me around and touched up without me asking. She was on point! I have sensitive+acne skin. Not that many makeup artists know how to cover it up well and even it out. Ashley made my skin looking flawless. Like if ive never had a pimple!!! Also, the way she airbrushed my skin was very gentle and felt very light on my skin. Trust me, many makeup artists dont know how to apply their airbrush well. After the photoshoot, she even asked me if i want to remove my makeup with her sensitive skin -makeup wipe and offered me a little face massage! I usually remove my makeup right away because my skin break out so easily- but i didnt. Instead, i made a last min date night with my man though :) I didnt want to waste the makeup! I looked so good!! She not only cares about how you look on the photoshoot/project but also want you look beautiful after as well. I recommend Ashley to all of my friends and now to everyone who views this review. You wont regret!
