Phil was the very best to work with! He took into consideration our very unique music style for our wedding and kept our guests rockin all night! Would highly recommend manna music DJ for all your events!

Phil was awesome! He met with us beforehand because he wanted to feel out the vibe we wanted for our wedding. We were able to make a list of “must play” songs. He had a great mix of music that even had grandmas & grandpas on the dance floor! And just really helped with the whole flow of the evening by keeping us on time!

Phil from Manna Music was simply the best! From the very start, he was very communicative, friendly, and helpful. He did not pressure us at all (as we all know many wedding vendors do) and had great recommendations throughout the whole process (we rented uplights from him for our wedding reception as well). Our dance floor was absolutely packed the whole night and everyone had a blast!! He has a talent for playing to the crowd, and we have had so many of our friends and family compliment him and inquire about hiring him for future events of their own. Highly recommend!!

He made sure to have all the songs that we requested and if he did not have them, he downloaded them immediately. Mark's equipment that he brought including lights were perfect. His portal was super easy to use in helping plan the music to be played and everything went off without a hitch. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Had a 260+ person wedding and he set up speakers outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception. Did all the music for the ceremony and reception as well as announcing us all out. Once the dancing came, we left all the music up to him and he nailed it flawlessly. We really couldn’t have wished for a better experience with our DJ. From the very beginning Phil was very responsive and helpful. He gave great tips during the planning process, explained everything to us, and even coordinated the ceremony flow. It seemed like he really wanted to get to know us as a couple. We really felt he went above and beyond and felt like he was part of the family. Our dance floor was packed all night and everyone raved about the music selection as well as the transitions between songs, he even came dressed to impress. We wouldn’t change a thing. We heard about Phil from an old vendor list from our original vendor- Cafe la Cave. Getting a good DJ was super important to me; someone who will work with me on the playlist because music is incredibly important to me. From my first phone call with Phil, I knew we'd be a good match. He and I were focused on striking a balance between keeping the dancefloor groovin' and playing songs that were meaningful to us. Throughout the planning process, I gave him Spotify links to my respective cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing playlists. He gave me full control of the cocktail hour and dinner playlists, which was an absolute JOY for me to manage (trust me, I would have DJ'd my wedding if I wasn't so busy as the bride). About a week and a half before the wedding, Phil met with us at a Starbucks to go over the Spotify dancing playlist that I'd been concocting. I wrote all the song names in order on a Google Doc and printed it for our meeting- after checking them on his online playlist-building tool. Phil had a lot of great feedback to share about songs that fit together in "mixes". In this meeting, we added and cut songs to make the perfect wedding playlist. He told us that a lot of couples let him do the playlist building but he was excited to encounter someone who valued the music playing a part in making the day special as much as he did. Phil knocked it out of the park on our wedding day. The blend of songs was so much fun and engaging for everyone. I didn't even get to the sweets table because I was on the floor all night. He even took some requests from our guests that fit within the mixes we'd already set up. It was a great night and Phil was a HUGE part of it. Phil helped everything move along as smooth as it could. There was never an empty dance floor. He was very responsive and coordinated with me numerous times before the big day to make sure everything went according to plan. He had a great selection of music that appealed to all generations of attendees. Phil truly loves what he does and works hard to make sure everyone has a great time.

We loved Manna Music! We specifically worked with Phil. He was so attentive, calling us to talk and make sure the list was the way we wanted it. He was also the perfect MC, and did everything down to writing down phonetic spellings so he got everyone's name right. DJ Phil from Manna Music is absolutely amazing. He did my sister-in-laws wedding, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. So we hired him for our wedding and he did not disappoint! From the very beginning, Phil was extremely responsive and attentive. Phil was everything we could ask for in our wedding DJ! Took the time to get to know us ahead of the event and what kind of music we liked. Was very detailed from the name pronunciations (Had some tough names and he crushed it) all the way to the last song. It was a perfect night and Phil helped make sure of it. ABSOLUTELY recommend Phil w/ Manna Music for your DJ needs! Our original DJ completely ghosted us the day of our wedding and Phil literally saved the day!! He was at the venue and ready to go in less than an hour! Everyone said they wouldn't have even known there was an issue because he did such an amazing job. He got all of our songs down for the cake cutting, entrances, bouquet toss, etc. and was able to read the crowd for the rest. The dance floor was NEVER empty. I recently got married and decided to go with manna music. I was extremely dissatisfied with mannas performance. While introduction of the bridal party he initially introduced a groomsman as the correct name and asked for another round of applause of a name that didn’t exist in the party. He started the bouquet toss music before anyone was on the dance floor when the bridesmaids and bride had a dance routine planned and we were very clear with him. He continued to try to plan dances but when we were ready gathering people he would play different songs. We had our entire playlist set and he ignored most of the songs on that list. The music with the echo in the venue basically muted his voice making it hard to hear. All in all, not a great experience.

If you are looking for a perfect 'soundtrack' for your upcoming event, BOOK PHIL FROM MANNA MUSIC! 10 years ago, my cousin hired Phil for her wedding and it was the first time my entire family was on the dance floor at a wedding. Even my 70 y/o Grandmother was busting a move. We had so much fun, I had always hoped he would be available for whenever I got married. THANKFULLY he was! Phil was wonderfully professional and went above and beyond in making sure our day was set up for success. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, he made sure to ask any and all questions the make sure we all knew what to expect, corrected and updated audio files that I inadvertently corrupted, AND was able to get all my relatives back on the dance floor. Words can't express how happy we are that we had Phil DJ our big day! Phil was super understanding and provided great feedback to our ideas. Manna music did my wedding 30 years ago. When I saw they were still in business I had to have them for her wedding. Phil was amazing. The dance floor was always full. He played a variety of music for everyone to enjoy!!!

Mark was absolutely amazing to work with and I’m so glad he was able to DJ my postponed wedding ceremony. After our horrible DJ from Admit One Dj Company failed to provide their services to us because of Covid-19, my husband and I came across Phil from the knot's wedding reviews and boy were we happy we went with him. Phil is the most thoughtful, kind, and most fun DJ. When it came time to discus the wedding, Phil personally took us out to lunch to discus exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He honored everything we asked for, even when he had to tell a lot of guest who were requesting music no to honor my husband and mine requests. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, our wedding was canceled. Although I didn’t get to see the end result of Phil’s work, I can say that he was great to work with for the planning phase and was willing to accommodate whatever changes we had with all of the uncertainty of our event. He is very professional, friendly, and easy to get a hold of. Since the cancellation wasn’t our fault, he even gave us our deposit back. I think that says a lot about him. I definitely will book him again if we are ever able to have another event!
