Manor Tavern

After endless looking and continuous disappointment, my husband and I made an appointment at The Manor Tavern to check out their venue for our wedding reception. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. Terry, the event manager, was so kind and more than willing to do what it took to work within our budget. We were able to provide our guests with so much more than we originally thought possible. The location was gorgeous (we had our ceremony outside in the field) and the reception tent was more than we ever expected. From the moment I arrived on my wedding day, there was someone there by my side to bring me drinks or to help with anything else that I needed. The staff were on top of everything and ensured that every guest had what they needed. I would highly recommend The Manor Tavern for a wedding ceremony and especially for a reception. They will provided service that is second to none and your day will be one that your guests talk about for years to come!

The event coordinator at Manor Tavern is really what won me over. She was so helpful, always responded quickly to my calls and e-mails, was perky, bubbly, and offered great advice. She was also present the day of the wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly. I did not have a wedding planner, but with her help, I really didn't need one. I received lots of compliments about the food, which was very reasonably priced. We also had our ceremony on their field, and our guests thought it was peaceful and pretty. We had our reception in their bigger tent (it is open-air, but the windows could be zipped up in case of rain). I am only giving Manor Tavern 4 stars overall because of the general appearance/cleanliness of the site. The bathrooms could use a little maintenance (they were generally clean, just outdated), and we noticed some cobwebs/dust on the outdoor ceiling fans and around the perimeter of the tent. The tent is open air, so I know it is hard to keep clean, and leaves/pollen will enter, but on your wedding day you hope for the venue to be spotless. Overall, I am pleased with my choice. I think this venue is great for laidback couples, who are aiming for that simple, comfortable feel.
