The Mansion at West Sayville was absolutely amazing! Our wedding was more perfect than we ever could have imagined! Bob is the best and is there for you every step of the way leading up to the big day! He’s so genuine and honest with you. Annemarie makes the day of your wedding go so smoothly and she is just so wonderful. Camille was so attentive and always made sure I was okay and had what we needed. The food was delicious and the entire staff was so professional! It’s such a beautiful venue with old charm! Seriously such an amazing place. Everyone is talking about how great our wedding was! Thank you so much to everyone at West Sayville!

My husband I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than the Mansion at West Sayville. We are beyond happy with how perfect our wedding was and how amazing the staff is. Bob is amazing at what he does-he was so responsive and accommodating. Camille and Ann Marie were stellar. They took care of us all night and the day was absolutely perfect. The ambiance is gorgeous, the food was amazing and everyone kept saying how much fun they had. It truly is a hidden gem on Long Island and we can not recommend the Mansion enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, rustic, intimate wedding venue.

The venue made my wedding like a dream come true. That staff was super sweet and caring. They all helped make the day stress free and took care of everything for us. We were allowed to decorate how we please (within reasons of course) but they never really said no to any ideas we had for decorations

Our wedding at the Mansion at West Sayville was everything we ever dreamed it would be. The venue itself is so beautiful, and is spacious yet intimate. We had 101 guests and it was the perfect size for everyone to party comfortably. Working with the team at the venue was a breeze: Bob was easy to get in touch with and always answered all of our emails in a very timely manner; Ann Marie ran the day of spectacularly and made sure everything went smoothly; Camille the bridal attendant was so sweet and attentive and always made sure we had food and drinks in hand; all of the wait staff and bartenders were top notch and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about our wedding. Definitely recommend everyone to have their wedding here, you will be so happy!

If you're considering booking the Mansion at West Sayville, DO IT! We had the best day and it was all because of the staff! From the moment my husband and I first toured the Mansion, we knew we were in good hands. Bob made us feel welcomed from the very beginning, and that feeling lasted all throughout our engagement. Every question was always answered in a timely mattered and Bob always made me feel at ease. Further, anything I wanted to decorate was fair game within reason, and Bob always made sure to give me various perspectives on the space since he knows it like the back of my hand, and it helped me so much. On my wedding day, Camille and Ann-Marie were AMAZING! Ann-Marie must have re-bustled my dress 3 times because it kept breaking and she did so with a smile every time. Camille always made sure that my husband and I were taken care of throughout the whole day. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this venue, and I am so glad we chose it because I can confidently say that my wedding day was an absolute dream and it's because of how amazing everyone is there.

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding. The whole staff was amazing, from Bob to Annmarie to Camille. Throughout the whole process, Bob was always there. If I had a question (and I had many), I would email him, and he would get back to me almost immediately every time. They really made sure we were taken care of. We got so many compliments from our family and friends on the food, the staff, and the venue itself. Thank you for making our wedding day everything we could have ever imagined!

I cannot say enough great things about this venue! Our wedding day was perfect and it has so much to do with this venue and everything it entails. Bob was wonderful to work with and everything was exactly how we wanted it. The food was amazing and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Our maitre’d AnnMarie was truly amazing and helped our day go so smoothly! I would highly recommend having your wedding here!!!

The venue is a hidden gem! We got married here in July and could not have had a better day. Leading up to the wedding day, Bob was great to work with, and was so helpful and attentive in answering all of our questions. The day of, the staff did a great job setting up the venue for our wedding and waiting the tables. The maitre'd, Ann Marie, was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran flawlessly and that we were well taken care of. The space itself felt very intimate and think it wold be perfect if you want a smaller wedding feel. Our guests had a lovely time, and would highly recommend this spot.

9/10 Andrew and I got married at the Mansion at West Sayville on Saturday, June 15th, 2024. Our ceremony was on the dock. The weather was perfect, 10/10. Our guests described the venue as dreamy and magical. The Mansion at West Sayville was the first venue we looked at, and we ended up looking at close to 10 different venues. We were looking at mainly Lessing’s properties because we knew we wanted to do the vendor package, and we were looking at venues on the water, because that’s one of our favorite parts about living on Long Island. The general manager, Bob, sold us on this venue. We enjoyed working with him for well over a year. He was quick to respond, and we truly had an easy process with planning our wedding. We did however run into a couple of snags closer to the big day. #1, Bob didn’t put in the contract that we were doing a vendor package. This added about $6K to our total bill that we were not budgeting for, and we found out about 6 weeks before our wedding day. There was nothing to be done – the vendors obviously had to be paid. Takeaway: be clear if you want the vendor package and make sure it’s reflected in the contract, or you will be surprised like us. #2, We got married on a Saturday night in June which is peak wedding season. The minimum guest count is 125. We didn’t think we’d have an issue hitting this number but only 107 people came. We still had to pay for 125; however, Bob threw in soft pretzels and churros, which I think is amazing and truly shows how great he is. Now to the big day. Camille was our Maître D. I wish we got to meet her or speak to her before the big day. She was sweet, on top of her stuff, and I really appreciated working with her. However, a couple guests said she was tough on the crowd (perhaps that’s just people not from New York though). Once we got to the Mansion at West Sayville for pictures, it was hectic. We had a million things going on at once and Andrew and I didn’t even look at the time until it was 10:30 PM!!! The staff kept us going though. We did everything we wanted to do and still had a good hour at the end of the night to dance dance dance. My bridal attendant was Laurie. She was amazing. She was all about ‘what do you want’ and helped Andrew and I put our foot down with the photographer and the DJ when we needed to. We needed to take certain family photos and accommodate a couple guests leaving early. She put my veil in my hair and took it out. She was truly lovely to work with. One note, the mansion told us we’d have 1 bartender and we had 2! We were not prepared for this tip wise. At the end of the day, I could not imagine our day being any better than it was. We had perfect weather, everything was kept on a timeline and just worked out amazingly. I sort of didn’t like that the dance floor was separate from the dining area, but I was assured by older relatives that it was truly appreciated for conversations.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect. The mansion at West Sayville did and amazing job. Bob was such a big help, and question we had he answered right away. The service was awesome, all the staff there are so nice and kind. The food and drink were amazing. The venue was gorgeous for pictures. Everything was exactly how we imagined it and more. If you want to get married and have you reception here you should do it. Thumbs up

Could not have asked for a better experience or more perfect venue for our intimate 80 person wedding. Bob was great to work with: responsive, knowledgeable, efficient. The venue was beautiful inside and out, the food delicious and not your standard catering fare, the staff friendly and professional, especially Anne Marie, the maître d', and Camille, the bridal attendant. They took care of everything so that we could be fully present all day. The Mansion-recommended DJ, Dan from Just For The Record, took our song list and ran with it, creating the exact musical vibe we were seeking and kept everyone dancing. The flowers — bouquets, boutonnières, corsages, table and arbor arrangements — suggested and created by Ken (who knows the Mansion well) of Ken & Eva’s Flower Cottage were perfect — beautiful and reasonably priced. Working with experienced vendors who know the Mansion well and who did an amazing job made everything easy and resulted in a perfect wedding day. Highly recommend!

Our wedding at the Mansion at West Sayville was the best day ever, and we can not thank Bob, Anne Marie, Camille and the rest of the team enough. When we first met with Bob about a year and a half prior to our wedding to visit and book, he was quick to say "Yes" to just about everything we asked for (signature drinks, certain alcohol that we wanted o offer, extra food stations, etc.) and when it came time for our wedding, he certainly delivered! Bob was extremely fast to answer emails and just really a pleasure to work with. On the day of our wedding Anne Marie (maitre'd) was an absolute STAR- explaining how the ceremony would work, and going as far as to carry my train around for me. Camille (our bridal attendant) was always ensuring that my family and I had drinks, food from the cocktail hour, etc. Just complete pros all around! Plus, the venue is stunning and it was great to be able to work with the Long Island Maritime Museum next door for pictures and our ceremony. The food was incredible, our guests couldn't stop commenting on how great it was. Just truly the perfect day and we are so happy that we chose Mansion at West Sayville.

Everything was perfect! Bob was so easy to work with and immediately responded via email to any questions I had. The staff was super nice and attentive to everyone! The place is beautiful and everyone raved about the food !

My wife and I cannot overstate how grateful we are to The Mansion at West Sayville for helping us throw the wedding of our dreams. The very moment we stepped foot in the building we knew it had to be our venue. From the century-old architecture and elegantly designed bright rooms to the immaculate views of the Great South Bay, The Mansion at West Sayville had everything we were looking for. Additionally, with his warm and kind personality, the General Manager Bob truly made us feel that we would be well taken care of every step of the way…and we were absolutely right. Throughout all the planning Bob was extremely communicative, answering every one of the many questions we threw at him in a timely manner. He was also incredibly accommodating, working with us to not once, but twice change the location of our ceremony in the days leading up to the wedding due to inclement weather. On the day of our wedding everything went off without a hitch thanks to the Maître d’ Annmarie who was simply exceptional. She ensured every member of the wedding party knew what to do and where to be, always gave us a heads up about what was coming next, and consistently checked in to make sure we were having a good time. If all that wasn’t enough, the food at The Mansion at West Sayville was out of this world! Everything served during cocktail hour was delicious, the steak we chose as a dinner option was huge and cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the seafood stuffed flounder was to die for. Compliments were flying left and right. All in all we could not have been happier with how everything came together and would highly, highly recommend The Mansion at West Sayville to anyone searching for an absolute gem of a venue to host their wedding or special event.

The most perfect venue! If you’re looking for an intimate location in a beautiful setting this is the spot. We do not have enough amazing things to say about Bob, Ann Marie and Camille. They were amazing to work with from the moment we toured the venue and could not be happier with our choice. All our guests said it was the most amazing they’ve ever been too and that the food was incredible. We’re so happy with our decision and could not have asked for a better team on the most important day of our lives. Thank you again!!

My husband and I knew from the moment we walked into the Mansion at West Sayville that it was going to be our wedding venue. The building is a timeless beauty that brought a feel of intimacy and charm. We absolutely loved that it didn’t feel like a “typical” catering hall and wanted our guests close to us to during our day. Bob was the best part of choosing this venue. My husband and I hit it off with Bob almost immediately, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and better guidance during the planning process. The vendor package that the Mansion offers was key for us in choosing their recommended vendors which were perfect matches for us. The entire process from the moment we booked all the way to the day of coordination was absolutely seamless. Thank you Bob and staff for providing the most memorable wedding we will cherish forever!

My Husband and I got married at the Mansion at West Sayville on 7/22/23 and I wish I could relive that day forever! Bob and the enter staff were absolutely phenomenal. Everything was perfect and beautiful, and they executed our vision exactly as we wanted. The Maitre'd and Bridal Attendant were kind and attentive, they cared about us and the entire wedding party and catered to any request or need we had without us even having to ask. The venue is timeless and cozy, our guests were blown away by the scene and the food. Needless to say, our experience was absolutely amazing and the staff at the Mansion know exactly what they're doing. We couldn't have been happier or asked for a better day!

I booked here 2 years before my wedding and can’t thank Bob enough for everything over those 2 years! He helped keep me relaxed and laughing throughout this whole process! My wedding was absolutely perfect and we’ve been told by almost everyone that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! Everyone has raved about the food but even more about the staff and how wonderful they all were. I’m so sad that I won’t get to see Bob every couple months but hope to be back soon! I will be recommending this venue to everyone I know getting married or in need of a wonderful event!

Just had our wedding here on June 25, 2023. Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Bob is so helpful from start to finish made our day smooth. Annmarie knows her stuff and had the day moving right along. The entire staff made our guests feel like family. The venue is beautiful can't wait to see all the pictures. The food was delicious. Can't say enough good things !

My cousin recommended this venue to me. I'm not sure where to start, from the first e-mail to our final meeting we had an awesome experience. Everyone was very accommodating and super nice, it made us feel like we made the right choice before the big day. I didn't really feel like we had to worry about anything. Our big day was February 24th and everything went amazing. We used all recommended vendors from the Mansion at West Sayville. They were amazing from the DJ, to the photography, florist, and the desserts, they exceeded our expectation. The food was amazing! We'd like to give a huge shout out to Annemarie and Camille. AnneMarie and Camille seriously made us feel like a king and queen that day anything we needed they were already a few steps ahead. They really made our day. Bob the manger was responsive, great and patient. He was able to answer every single question we asked. The staff was attentive and took care of our guests. My guests had a great experience with the staff. The venue sets up everything. On our big day we did not have to worry about ANYTHING. Everything was taken care of for us. We just showed up and had the time of our life. We are so happy we decided to get married here. Everything came out perfect. There is nothing we would change about our big day. I would definitely recommend the Mansion at West Sayville for anyone looking for a non stressful beautiful wedding. The team is awesome and the location is stunning.

Where to begin?! We had our wedding on 11/11/2022. This venue was exactly what we were looking for and our wedding was everything we hoped!! Bob the manager, Annemarie the maitre’d, and Camille our bridal attendant were incredible. It rained unfortunately so our plans to have an outdoor ceremony shifted, but it was a seamless transition. Our guests are still raving about the food and experience. Thank you to Steve, Christine, and Kayla our bartenders, and the entire waitstaff team. All the staff members were so kind and attentive. Highly recommend!! Thank you for making our wedding day perfect.

We got married on 11/12/22 and from start to finish this venue was a dream. We did the vendor package which was not only cost effective but also made planning so much easier without feeling too restrictive. Bob was incredibly helpful from our first visit to the wedding day itself. You immediately get a strong sense that the staff is very experienced and knows what they’re doing - so comforting. On the day of, Ann Marie helped coordinate everything. From set up to tear down, she had it all under control and made it so my husband and I could just enjoy the ceremony and reception. I also heard from our guests that the waitstaff was attentive, helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend this team enough and I’m so grateful to have had my wedding here!

Me and my husband were just married there on 11.19.22 and could not recommend this venue enough! The staff were amazing and helped us create the wedding we were looking for. They made sure we had everything we needed the entire night. Annemarie was on top of everh detail and made sure the event ran smoothly from start to finish! My guests have been raving about the food and how attentive and nice all of the servers were that night!

My husband and I were married at the mansion on 10/07/22 All I can say I absolutely amazing. Bob is fantastic, very responsive and easy to work with. The day of, Annmarie was our Maitre D and Camille was my bridal attendant, both were wonderful. Every one of our guests could not stop raving about how much fun they had at our wedding, how beautiful the venue is, and how great the food was. My husband and I got married at the Mansion at West Sayville on 10/8/22. We had the most amazing time!!! Bob is a pleasure to work with - he made sure all our requests were handled and he even let me and my bridesmaids get ready in the bridal suite at 8 am the day of, which was something that was promised to me with the original manager we had previously booked with. Bob was very easy to get in touch with during the planning process and even answered my late night emails promptly. Our Maitre’D, Annmarie, was absolutely amazing. She is extremely organized and kept the day running smoothly. She was able to wrangle our bridal parties and families together when needed, and calmed our nerves during the most important parts of the day. The servers and bartenders were all friendly, welcoming and excellent at their jobs. We seriously cannot recommend the Mansion at West Sayville enough!

The venue is up the road from my parent’s house and I grew up going to various parties here and they’ve always been amazing. I also had my bridal shower here. They really are a hidden gem. The view is incredible and it has such a romantic charm to it. We had the most amazing sunset and everyone kept raving about how beautiful it was. Bob was so easy to work with throughout the process. The night of I had Annmarie as my maitre’d and she was amazing. She ran the show, kept everything in check, and bustled my dress in 3 minutes and it never broke. Camille was our bridal assistant and she is so so sweet. The food was delish, the staff was on top of their game. The bartenders were great too! I was also very particular on how I wanted things set up and was able to go the day before and decorate exactly the way I wanted it to look! It put me at such ease to know that everything was already done with my exact vision. It was truly all perfect

Best decision of the entire wedding planning process was booking this venue. It fit the vision my husband and I had perfectly. It is such a gorgeous venue with so much to offer. We did our first look by the glass conservatory then moved over to the dock. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and honestly I don't know what I would have done without them!! Everyone was a true expert on how to run a smooth wedding day that I did not have to lift a finger. And the food! I had so many guests come up to me gushing about how good the food was and not just the entrees. EVERYTHING. We went with the vendor package and we are so glad we did. This venue knows how to choose it's vendors!!! I was given compliments on every aspect of the wedding from the food, the service, the DJ, the cake. I would 100% book this venue again and again. Thank you so much for being the perfect back drop to my wedding day!!

We got married during covid times. West Sayville was responsive the whole time and so easy to work with. The new manager Bob seems like he has some really great plans for the venue. This venue really is something else- you have big open windows, the water, the golf course, a greenhouse. You will not regret booking this venue.

My husband and I had our reception at the Mansion at West Sayville on 6/12/21. When we stepped inside the mansion for the first time in 2019 we loved the ambiance and style of the mansion with it's beautiful rustic and romantic feel. Throughout all of Covid we never felt taken advantage of and everyone we worked with at the mansion upheld our original contract and agreements. They made the stresses of planning a wedding through Covid very manageable and never caused us to worry. We always felt very taken care of. Everything about our day was perfect. I remember walking into the mansion for the first time on our wedding day and feeling overwhelmed with happiness at how gorgeous the mansion looked and how well everything had come together. Bob was very accommodating with our arrival time in order for us to take pictures prior to our cocktail hour so we could enjoy our entire reception. The mansion grounds are absolutely stunning & we were able to work with the LIMM to take pictures on the docks. We took gorgeous shots by the greenhouse, outside on the lawn during sunset later on in the evening and inside the mansion prior to cocktail hour which allowed us to enjoy our cocktail hour and greet our guests as they arrived. Annemarie was incredible leading up to and on our day. When we arrived, she brought us up to the bridal suite and made sure we had everything we needed. The day went so smoothly because of her, and she is always right there taking care of anything you need and is always one step ahead, which is what you need on your wedding day! Our guests enjoyed the gorgeous outdoor cocktail hour, with it's beautiful views of the Great South Bay (it also helped we had a great day in terms of weather in June). The food and drinks were fantastic and everyone had such a good time dancing and celebrating throughout the night. We are so grateful to everyone at the mansion for helping us create our perfect wedding day.

Oh my - I don’t have enough space to say how AMAZING the staff, the venue, and our wedding was on July 9th at the Mansion at West Sayville was. From easy planning with Bob to the walk through with Ann-Marie, we knew we were in well held hands. The staff is efficient, so kind, and incredible at getting everything done with ease and grace. Ann-Marie was by my side whenever I needed her on the night of the wedding, was patient and kept us in the loop. She is an absolute rockstar. Special shout-out to Jojo as well for absolutely crushing our decor - she turned my vision into a reality. I’ve heard from so many of our guests saying how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how stunning the ceremony was out on the lawn of the golf green. They said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. I agree with them all! Honestly - if you’re thinking about hosting your wedding here, don’t think twice. Book it now, you will NOT regret it!!! I cannot say enough about our day and how absolutely PERFECT it was. One note of warning… you’re going to want to have a wedding every weekend after you host at the Mansion at West Sayville. 😉

The Mansion at West Sayville was absolutely incredible. We wish we could relive our wedding day everyday. The entire staff: the bartenders, wait staff, Maître D Annemarie, and manager Matt Perez truly went above and beyond for us. There was never a second my husband or I were without food or a drink provided by the staff. They catered to us every second of the night! The food is beyond delicious, and all of our guests raved about the cocktail hour. Annemarie has been here for a long time and it honestly felt like she was family. She took such good care of me all night! Matt really helped us out during the pandemic. It was a smooth process to postpone our first reception date to the new one. When the guidelines were loosening up he went through every step with us and kept us updated about changing protocols. We had to wear masks but we were able to dance and truly had an amazing time, it didn't even feel like COVID was a thing anymore. He went out of his way to provide us with things that we didn't even expect. He's really wonderful to work with. You will be blown away with the gorgeous second room for dancing that has an amazing view of the South Bay. Do yourself a favor and check this venue out! Soooooo underrated.

What a hidden gem! The view is absolutely breath taking and perfect for a smaller wedding. Working with Matthew Perez was so easy and he and his team were so accommodating during the pandemic and worked with us to provide us with a dream wedding. The food was fantastic and all of our guests couldn't believe the amount and quality of food!

During these crazy stressful times Steve and his staff made my daughters micro wedding everything she had envisioned. He was was very hands on and easy to work with. The staff was wonderful and the food was excellent (people are still raving about it). We would definitely recommend this venue.

My husband and I just got married this weekend and cannot express our gratitude enough to the Mansion at West Sayville crew for making our wedding absolutely perfect. Steve, Ann Marie, JoJo and Hannah made our wedding the even better than we could've imagined , during a pandemic no less. Steve has been so easy to work with since booking 14 months ago and has been incredibly accommodating and available for all our questions/concerns in light of all the recent, ever changing regulations throughout this year. We converted to a microwedding with zero issues nor pressure with 7 wks to go to our wedding and truly could not have dreamt up a better wedding day. We have nothing but the best things to say and would do it over again in a heartbeat!

When preparing for a wedding, couples envision their flawless day and begin the planning process. For us, we selected a date, a venue, and started to plan our event - then COVID changed everything. As New York started to reopen we continuously tried to contact our reserved venue to no avail. With less than 3 months to go we resolved ourselves to the fact that we would either change the date, or have a simple backyard ceremony. On a whim we contacted Steve at the Mansion at West Sayville and met him for a tour. We were impressed with the site, his professionalism, and the price, so we booked our event. We cannot express how grateful we are to Steve and his team for not only providing an amazing experience for us and our guests, but more importantly, for ensuring the safety of everyone by staying within the current recommended guidelines for gatherings. The attention to detail was incomparable, the food was excellent and every step of the way our needs were met. We kept our original date and were surrounded by our closest family and friends as we exchanged vows and celebrated. The day was not how we originally planned...it was magnificent and perfect! Thank you Steve and team!

Steve and the team at the West Sayville Mansion were wonderful to work with! They helped me and my husband plan a great wedding and were so accommodating during COVID-19 and the craziness of planning a wedding. Although we were not able to have the big wedding we envisioned we were able to have a micro-wedding and do a ceremony only.

Wow I cannot say enough wonderful things about West Sayville! Steve was such a huge help throughout my planning process and quickly responded to any questions I emailed him. In the few days before our wedding, I met Ann Marie and she was so incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and on top of things. During our wedding, Ann Marie kept everything going smoothly throughout the night and was really helpful with my bustle and fixing my hair after it got a little messed up when pulling my veil out. She is a miracle worker. Everyone has been raving about the food, there was not one complaint! All of the staff was so sweet and responsive to any requests we had. The grounds are so gorgeous. Unfortunately the sun set before our cocktail hour began but what can you do! I most definitely recommend this venue - you cannot go wrong!!

I cannot say enough great things about this venue! My husband and I have received nothing but compliments on the venue, the food, and the staff from all of our guests. AnnMarie was AMAZING, she was super helpful and very efficient. We got rain on the day of my wedding and they were able to move the ceremony from outside to inside at the last minute quickly and without any issues thanks to Annmarie. Everything was super organized and stress-free for me! ALL of my guests have said that the food was amazing and that they could not believe how much food it was! Steve was also so amazing, answered all my questions immediately and was available whenever we needed him. This venue is just perfect!

What can I say about The Mansion at West Sayville and their staff! My husband and I had a fall wedding and we had the most beautiful time at our wedding! Steve and all the staff were beyond incredible . The staff was professional, efficient and kind. Each one knew exactly how to do their job. AnnMarie was fabulous and was on top of everything for our special night. When we first booked the venue, I was concerned about space because we were inviting a lot of people to the wedding. Not only was spacing not an issue, but the different rooms made it feel like I was at home celebrating with our family and friends. The separation of the dance floor and dining area was perfect because people who wanted to dance could and people who wanted to sit and catch up with family and friends could do that without loud music blasting in their ears. The food was outstanding. A few of our guests said it was the best food at a wedding they ever had!! My husband and I can truly not say enough about this venue! If you are looking for the perfect wedding, with the perfect staff, book at The Mansion at West Sayville. Thank you to Steve, AnnMarie and all the amazing staff!
