When planning our fusion South Indian/Gujarati wedding- we knew that good food was a non negotiable. Both of our families had super high expectations of the food and honestly this vendor EXCEEDED every single one of them. My husband and I always talk about how they were the absolutely best vendor choice we made for our wedding. Not only was the food and service AMAZING, the team was incredible. They were so responsive, helpful, and kind! They went out of their way to make our day special and provided an incredible experience to our guests! My mom still gets weekly texts from friends/family asking about the food from our wedding and what vendor we used (and we got married months ago!!!) Anu and her team are incredible and we will never hire another Indian caterer again apart from Mantra!!

Mantra catered our wedding in late August, and they did a fantastic job! Not only did they design a menu of items that fit our vision and taste, but they also executed it flawlessly at our challenging reception venue (no kitchen). Mantra is without a doubt the highest quality South Asian wedding caterer in the Chicago area! The food is incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. Kasia and Anu execute to perfection, ensuring that every detail is taken into account. Highlights on our wedding menu were the baby lamb chops, Amritsari fish, corn chili samosas, mangalorean paneer and biryani. The mango creme brulee dessert is one of the best desserts I've ever had! My husband and I originally reached out to Anu back in 2019 when we got engaged, hoping to get married in 2020. When the pandemic hit we were forced to push our wedding THREE TIMES. However, Indian Garden and their team were extremely flexible. They made sure I was their priority and assured me all my deposits were safe. They made this whole experience easy and I’m so glad I went with them for my Indian wedding. Not to mention, the day of was FABULOUS. We got so many compliments on the food (honestly that’s the main compliment of the night). Their attention to detail on the setup is unmatched. Indian Garden was incredible! They were friendly and responsive starting from the tasting all the way through to the day of. We were finally able to have our dream wedding, a 2 day filled fusion celebration and it would absolutely NOT have been the same without the delicious and creative cuisine from Mantra-Indian Garden! Anu and Kasia were amazing to work with, they brought their creativity and helped create an out of the box menu for us that fit the fusion of cultures, our personality/taste and the diversity of guests that would be in attendance. Mantra catering did a great job of servicing our event. Firstly, the quality of the food at the event was great both from our experience and our guest's feedback. The live stations and passing of items for appetizers and the mango nada were well received. Secondly, Anu and team were very responsive in terms of communication for any questions or discussions leading up to the event. They also gave suggestions and recommendations for our event rather than just going with our ideas.

Anu Sharma and her team were a true pleasure to work with. They did all of our wedding events from a kickoff party at home, to mehndi/sangeet and wedding/reception. Their food is definitely amazing and they put a twist on traditional Indian items. Even more than their food, their team went above and beyond to make everything so memorable for all of us. Their attention to detail, their creativity, and their overall passion for the events they cater are like no other. Mantra is by far the best Indian restaurant in the Midwest. We are so grateful to have had them as caterers for our 3 days of wedding events.

Anu is a genius with food and so personable. My guests were in awe of the food options, especially appetizers and the mango phirni dessert. She was professional and ensured that all the details from plating to timing to decorations were flawless. What can I say? My wedding was possible this year and one of the reasons why was because of Arun and Anu. They were so flexible with the date and timing change. The food menu was great with a variety of choices. Everything was hot, perfect, and too the point. All my guests enjoyed it. Their staff service was great. I can also say as a nurse, all staff members used COVID precautions. Weddings are filled with friends, family, dance, and most important food and I would recommend Arun and Anu to of my family and friends!

Anu and the Mantra team catered our wedding reception in September 2019. While communication was a little tough, Anu and her team really delivered when it came to the day of. The food was outstanding and the presentation was beautiful and very unique. It was not at all your typical Indian dinner buffet. To this day, people are still complimenting the high quality of food!

We used Mantra for a large event, ~400 people. We were very impressed from the beginning. The proprietor listened carefully to our needs and offered several traditional and creative suggestions for cuisine and presentation to create a list of potential dishes. We then conducted a tasting choose from our list of potential dishes. The feedback from the proprietor on what would work well at the venue and with the guest list was invaluable. We were also able to discuss trade-offs to stay within our budget while maintaining our approach. The event went flawlessly. The food was excellent and very well received by a variety of people "foodies" and "non-foodies" alike. The seasoning was just right so that it imparted flavor but was not too spicy. It was enjoyed by people used to all different spice levels. I would not hesitate to use Mantra again.

Book them! The food is excellent. The staff is great. The service at our event was seamless. Our guests were very happy! We had a terrific experience with Mantra from the first email, to the tasting, through the planning process, all the way to our wedding day. I am veg. and my wife is not. Any & Nasir are the absolute best at what they do. My wedding was at the Bridgeport art center earlier this month. So I knew I had to have someone that could transform this already beautiful venue into something right out of a fairytale. Anu does it all, from the food to the decor and even signature drinks. Anu is professional , upfront about pricing, responsive, informative and FUN! Pictures say a thousand words. They came up with a creative menu even for a few that had dietary restrictions.

From the moment I spoke with Anu; she knew exactly how to make my visions come to life. When they say once in a life time, this was defiantly it. Dont think anyone could replicate the atmosphere that Anu and Kashia created for my wedding. The food was heavenly, and over the top delicious. The food, presentation, and selection process was perfect. We went to Mantra-Indian Garden three times for food tastings. Anu and her staff treated us so well and she clearly knew exactly what we were looking for. She was able to make any alterations we needed. On the occasion of my daughters' wedding in Pittsburgh, Indian Garden provided high quality, exquisite, tasty and superb food accompanied by courteous professional down to earth staff led us Nassir, Manager, During prewedding planning we did not have to perspire for the food selection, life was made easier by Nassir and Anu's proper guidance. They prepared food various events such as Sangeet, breakfast, wedding lunch, pre and post ceremony, reception and next day brunch. My guests including DJ were awestruck and praising high quality, tastiness, timeliness and authenticity of food supported by Nassir and his team that includes staff and chefs. Some of guests were from locals, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, San Franscisco and Northeast regions. They were asking for caterers number and Nassir's card. I am happy to see all them very happy and praising food. Many thanks for providing an excellent, high quality, and authentic food with timeliness and well supported staff under leadership of Nassir.

We worked with the catering manager Joseph. He was a delight to work with and very patient. Our food was amazing and we had a lot of left overs for the guests to take home. We ordered chicken, fish, vegan options and appetizers and did not break our wallets. Delivery was prompt, the food presentation was perfect. We have no complaints!

We had our wedding at the Stan Mansion. We were lucky enough to have Mantra cater our special day. Their service was impeccable. Since our wedding was an interfaith wedding, we had some guests who had never tried Indian food in the past. They provided a delicious customized menu to our guests and everyone absolutely raved about the food. Some of the highlights of the menu included lamb chops, pani poori and fish tikka. Our wedding venue served as both the ceremony room and the party room. They were able to turn the ceremony room into the party room in less than an hour. In addition, they provided bartenders for the entire night as well as servers for the cocktail hour. They even took down all the tables at the end of the night. In addition, the manager personally served our head table which was such a personal touch that I do not think you can find anywhere else. I have had multiple guests tell me they have visited Mantra based on the food that was served at the wedding. Some of these people had never had Indian food before. All in all, Anu and her staff were amazing and helped make our special day even that much better.

Mantra provided excellent catering services for our son’s wedding reception. They stand out in their exceptional and novel presentation of mouth watering signature delicacies along with courteous service.
