Kate provided excellent communication via email and phone calls throughout the planning process and was very receptive to feedback and ideas. She sat down with me and really got to understand what I was envisioning for our wedding day. Kate was able to put together a vision board that met my expectations. I was able to bounce ideas off of her and had so much fun getting creative with centerpieces and other decor. The bridesmaids bouquets were more beautiful than I could have imagined. I told Kate I wanted bouquets that matched the ceremony florals and give off summer garden vibes, but that I wasn’t picky about types of flowers used. The lush bouquets she put together were a perfect fit for an elegant summer wedding. When I walked into the ceremony space, I was truly in awe of the beautiful mandap that Kate and her team had created. We got married in a gorgeous outdoor space with a stunning view, but all eyes immediately fell on the mandap. I received so many compliments from guests on how stunning the ceremony set up was. I 100% recommend Maple and Mum for their professionalism and creativity.

ith my wedding flowers. She just understood my vision, and even took my vision and expanded it in the most perfect ways. I grew up on a small family farm and it was really important to us to use locally sourced flowers. We also didn't want your "typical" wedding flowers (like roses); we wanted something totally different. Maple + Mum did an amazing job putting together all these unique, local flowers in the perfecrt color schemes. Everything was amazing (seriously, I spent a lot of money preserving my bouquet and some centerpieces because I loved them so much)!!!!!! We worked together on a vision board, and they were so receptive to all of our comments, but I don't think I could have ever prepared myself for how STUNNING the arrangements came out -- they were out of my head and into my wedding! Between the bouquets, the flower crowns, the planters, the table arrangements, and the show-stopping arbor, I was in heaven. I honestly would not have changed a thing. And I never wanted them to go away! Kate is truly an artist, and I just cannot recommend them enough. My mom and bridesmaids immediately said the flowers were so “me”. I love their philosophy of using local flowers whenever possible and Kate was also on board with making the most of what we had by repurposing our ceremony arbor over to a copper arch for our sweetheart table. She even created the perfect hair comb to complete my look! I can’t say enough great things about Maple + Mum!

She then proposed the interesting idea of having a unique trophy arrangement on each table. As silver trophy vases are expensive, she was able to source look alikes and spray paint them silver! Kate was very personable and easy to work with. I was astounded on the day of my wedding at how gorgeous it all turned out. My bouquet was exquisitely colorful and far exceeded my expectations. The ceremony florals coordinated with it perfectly.

Kate and Nancy excel at all aspects of their business, from answering emails and staying on budget to pinning on flowers and assembling arches. They executed their work way beyond expectations with astounding creativity. They dedicated their weekend to us and we will forever feel grateful to them! Thank you so much! I bought my husband an arrangement for Valentine’s day the February before our wedding and it made us so excited to work with them in October!!!)

endly, very organized and super helpful over the phone, and truly got “our vision” and executed it flawlessly. She incorporated our color scheme perfectly and made the scale of the florals perfect (especially for my small frame -- 5 feet tall, the flowers didn’t overpower me at all). We had some last minute changes and she handled them with ease. We had the best experience and are so lucky to have worked with her!

times people say things like ‘nobody remembers the flowers,’ but actually in the case of our wedding it’s one of the things we received the most compliments on and one of our favorite memories of our big day. When searching for a florist, Maple and Mum’s pictures stood out among the options on our list. We would have been happy to have literally any of the arrangements on their Instagram, which seemed like a good sign about their judgment and good taste. We also liked the variety of looks and styles they were able to achieve, which suggested that they could really work with clients ideas and preferences. These two qualities - good taste paired with adaptability - proved valuable, since it meant that we could point Kate to flowers we like, our color palette, and some key words to describe the style of our wedding (‘naturalistic,’ ‘country elegant,’ etc.) and we could trust Kate to run with those ideas. Out of that basic setup, Kate delivered some of the most stunning flowers for a wedding I have seen. Of course that’s a biased opinion since our flowers were based on our own preferences. Still, we received so many compliments from guests about the flowers, including an avid gardener and our dear friend who is a wedding photographer herself, both of whom see plenty of floral arrangements but were blown away by Kate’s work. Kate was also a joy to work with. After our initial vision board from Kate based on our guidance, we made some changes to our color palette and had to adjust the number and type of arrangements we would need from her. Kate took these changes in stride. She adjusted the vision board for the florals quickly and effortlessly, and brought on additional high-quality staff to help her with arranging and set-up. We also were a bit particular about the boutonnieres, and Kelly was glad to fine tune her design to my husband’s preferences for these. (He and his groomsmen were extremely happy with the result, too.) I only wish that we lived closer to where our wedding took place, since we’d love to use Maple and Mum again and again for our floral needs. We felt so lucky to find them for our wedding, and we think they would be a good choice for yours, too!
