Located just 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, Maple Grove is a rich and thriving community filled with beautiful parks, retail, and recreation venues. Maple Grove Community Center offers event packages for wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, baby and bridal showers, engagement parties, anniversary celebrations and family gatherings to celebrate all of life's milestones. Conveniently situated on I-94 and Weaver Lake Road, the Community Center is nestled between the Shoppes of Arbor Lakes and our beautiful Maple Grove Parks. Wedding ceremonies can be hosted in the garden patio adjacent to the Banquet Room reception space, or at one of our nearby Town Green Park or Central Park of Maple Grove. The Banquet Room boasts round table seating for up to 256 guests and includes a built-in wooden dance floor and elevated stage perfect for a DJ or live band. Three access points lead you through the Banquet Room to the outdoor garden patio for a ceremony or cocktail hour in the fresh air. Seasonal flowers are planted in the garden patio every spring, and the lush Eastern Redbud tree blooms light pink, adding the perfect spring-colored touch. The warm ambiance of the Banquet Room provides a well-lit canvas to your cocktail hour and reception, all furniture including tables, chairs, and bar pieces are available with your rental. Modern amenities such as the complimentary in-house sound system with microphones and optional big-screen projectors and portable 55" TVs allow your photo slideshow, video montage, or virtual attendees to come to life. All furniture setup and clean-up is included so you can focus on your special day. The Town Green Park is just two signals away from Maple Grove Community Center and includes two impressive outdoor ceremony locations. The Bandshell is a large glass and concrete structure with built-in seating for up to 350. The sound system with expert A/V staff is included in the rental, with two time slots offered on Saturdays: 10am - 2pm and 3pm - 7pm. If a lakeview backdrop is more your style, the Point is an ideal wedding ceremony location for up to 200. Decorate the built-in pergola with floral, lighting, or greenery to match your wedding vision. Central Park of Maple Grove Located 1 mile away from the Community Center, the prized recreational area Central Park houses a gorgeous indoor Phenow Pavilion and rentable Garden for memorable wedding ceremonies in the sun. The Phenow Pavilion includes vaulted wood-finished ceilings and glass windows all around for wedding receptions up to 120 guests.
