Maquam Barn & Winery

Maquam Barn & Winery is not only one of the most beautiful venues in Vermont, but the staff is truly incredible. First, the barn is a new build with reclaimed wood offering all the feels of an old barn, but with a polished concrete floor and AC! They provide gorgeous farmhouse tables for seating options as well as more traditional rounds depending on your vibe. The flagstone patio outside offers shade and views of the surrounding vineyard and mountains. The arbor/ceremony site is also breath-taking. Our wedding guests could be inside, in the action on the dance floor or enjoying a night cap and some conversation on the patio by the gas fire pits. This dreamy venue aside, the staff is amazing. Shaun and Darcy were responsive to my millions of questions and inquiries. We were able to our a few times throughout the process. They were willing to make anything happen for us. Jill, their bar manager, is an absolute dream. She knows the ins and outs of this place and will make anything work. She was an incredible resource for us as well. If you're looking to get married in Vermont, I strongly encourage you to take a look at this venue. The beautiful space and friendly staff made our wedding wonderful!

My fiancé and I during covid were searching for the perfect venue in MA/NH/ME/VT. We (mainly me), searched hundreds and hundreds of options, but there would always be something that made us reconsider (location/price/availability/# of guest etc.). Out of all the venues we hit the jackpot with stumbling upon Maquam and booked without even seeing. After seeing it we were convinced this venue has it all!: - Brand New Barn built by young couple (great designing that pulls a rustic modern look) - Location extremely close to Burlington (15-20m or so) - Out of State guest can fly in to Burlington VT - Responsive and helpful owners (they actually just got married there this year that's how you know it's perfect ;)) -Tables/Chairs provided for ceremony chairs (up to 100 they have a place to order more of the same)/reception chairs * tables (Shaun actually built the barn furniture himself except the circle tables) - Great price point - Hidden Gem and there is still availability - The bridal suite is PERFECT for your girls and glam squad - The ceremony backdrop is breathtaking - New Rooftop built for any sort of rain backup plan - Huge reception area (I think up to 300?) - Cocktail deck has views out into the mountains on a beautiful stone deck ** I could go on and on so I'll stop here.. My wedding is next July, but I have been working with Shaun/Darcy (who own the bar), and Jill (the Barn/Bar mgr), and I cannot say enough great things about their professionalism and willingness to help! We went up to see the Barn recently and they gave us a personalized tour, answered every question we had, helped with vendors, even had a wine tasting :) etc. The venue is absolutely STUNNING, not to mention brand new! Even our caterer we met with after said "I was there a few weekends ago and this venue, in my opinion, is one of the best in VT and I've seen hundreds of venues" I can't wait to get married here and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue in VT with such a great group of people to work with, communicate with and for all their help!
