Maravilla Gardens is a wedding venue located in Camarillo, CA. Situated in the farmland of Santa Rosa Valley, this outdoor property was landscape especially for weddings. This private estate can comfortably host celebrations of up to 275 guests.
Maravilla Gardens has three separate event spaces for you to use throughout your day. These areas are complete with paved grounds, lush lawns, vibrant flower beds, and intimate lighting fixtures. Here, you and your loved one can exchange vows before sipping on beverages as the sun sets over the valley. Your receptions can be held under the starry night sky or partially covered tents. There is ample space for seated guests, a large dance floor, as well as live entertainment. Additional facilities at this venue include get-ready rooms for both wedding entourages. The scenery was breathtaking and made for a beautiful backdrop for our photos. We loved that the venue came with everything we needed, making planning so much easier. You really don't have to outsource much and they even offer their own rentals for decor items. They also include a wedding coordinator who was incredible. n this venue and another that was more DIY and we are incredibly grateful we chose Maravilla. The venue is stunning! The staff is attentive, helpful, and hard working. The second we left our ceremony we were greeted with a HIS and HERS cocktail and a massive platter of our apps so that we were well fed while taking photos. It also started raining very late into the night (and it wasn't predicted to happen) and within seconds they have dozens of umbrellas descending onto the dance floor so the party could keep going. planning team, Jenn, Mel, Keith, Robert, Gidget etc are just masters at wedding planning and so the entire process was so easy and helpful. All of our guests loved the California feel to the venue and how unique it was. Maravilla constantly updates their own rentals, decor and services so it's always building. We also rented the day of getting ready house which was a life saver and saved me so much stress and worry about transportation. Mel is a dream come true month of coordinator and was very responsive and professional. We were so happy to have met her. Jenn was with his most of the earlier planning process and her and Gidget helped with all of the set up to throw it over the Mel. Keith and Robert for Command Performance Catering were amazing and so informative and helpful when building our wedding menu. We had multiple guests asking if the catering had a restaurant as well! Everyone absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere, the venue and everything that made our day as unique and magical as I could have ever imagined.

our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding there and were very happy. Everyone commented on the beautiful setting – green and flowery, and shaded in all the right places. The ceremony, cocktail area and reception space are each right next to one another and the paths are wide and smooth – easy for everyone, even high heels and wheelchairs. The late-afternoon/evening event was warm and lovely. They put out the heat lamps at just the right time when it started to be chilly – perfectly placed and unobtrusive. There is a frame over the reception area that really adds to the ambiance and also provides support if it rains. The sound system is brand new and sounds great! The team at Maravilla is organized and personable and they know their stuff. Our outside planner and the Maravilla planners worked well together we felt confident and supported at every step. Jen, the venue owner, has an amazing barn full of beautiful and unique items she searches out to add to whatever ambiance you want to create. There are air-conditioned “getting ready” spaces for both halves of the wedding party. Bathrooms are spotless and plentiful. The caterer they use, Command Performance, is excellent and it was so nice to have the venue and caterer work together as an experienced team. We are so glad we got to celebrate at Maravilla and would choose them again in a heartbeat!

website I knew this location was everything that I was looking for and more. We quickly contacted them and booked a site tour. The in person visit was even more beautiful and I was constantly in awe of the location and the services that they offered. A few days after our visit we booked our date. Jen was great to work with and boy does she know her stuff! Each meeting was so productive and I left feeling more comfortable each time. So many people kept asking me if I was stressed out planning a wedding and working with Jen and her team helped make the planning process a lot easier. I loved how Maravilla Gardens provides almost everything you need. We loved working with their caterer, Command Performance Catering, our coordinator Mel was beyond amazing and we also ordered most of our rentals through MVG which was so convenient. All of our guest could not stop talking about how beautiful the location was and how seamless the day was. We truly had the best day ever and loved everything about our wedding day. e are so many beautiful options for venues, especially in this area. This venue was the most eye appealing to me, but it went beyond just the looks of the venue. There is much planning and natural stress that comes with getting married, but Maravilla Gardens and their staff relieve so much of it and truly made the process smoother than I could have ever asked for! They definitely know what they are doing and I appreciated their expertise in helping in all areas of my wedding. I was given resources to help make sure I had each aspect planned in a timely manner, suggestions of other vendors that had the same passion and expertise as Maravilla did, and my coordinator, Erin, is a saint! I had several family members and friends tell me how much they loved our wedding, not only because of us, but because of the venue. They raved about how beautiful the property was and how perfectly the day flowed (thanks to the Maravilla team). I am sure people say this to be nice, but multiple people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I truly believe that credit goes to Maravilla Gardens and Erin.

Jen Loller and her husband run the place like a well-oiled machine, and their wedding coordinators (each wedding gets their own--no need to hire a wedding planner) are incredible (thanks Carolyn!). On our wedding day, as the bride I had zero stress and got to fully enjoy being present in the day thanks to their high levels of organization in coordinating the minute details of the schedule, caterer, DJ, and other vendors. The owners and staff run their venue with kindness and integrity, and it was a joy to plan such an important day with wonderful, down-to-earth people. To this day, many of our friends & family say that our wedding at Maravilla was the best wedding they've been to! I would recommend Maravilla to anyone in a heartbeat!

always manicured to a 10+, and convenient to boot! Each area (ceremony, cocktail and reception) is unique and provides your guests with a new "wow" experience, but it is incredibly cohesive and flows together beautifully at the same time. Jen and her team literally make this a simple and easy process (I know, said no bride ever, right??) and you can personalize things to your hearts content if you wish, or you can enjoy the beauty of the venue all on its own. Their list of rentals is outstanding, but you don't need anything if you want to keep things simple. Attention to detail is Maravilla's strong suit, and everyone is very responsive and timely in all communications...also there are NO surprises when it comes to expectations and costs...no one likes a surprise on their wedding day (or on their bill)...and everything is done with a giant smile and a hug! Their vendor catering partner, CPC, is off the charts, (I was initially mildly concerned about being "locked in" to a catering company, but fear not, their food is delicious and they are more than happy to work with all of your requests. My husband and I are total foodies, as our the majority of our guests, and everyone was blown away!). Our big day was stunning and perfect, and all of our guests were treated like family! I really can't say enough good things...we looked at several outdoor venues, from San Diego to San Francisco, and there is not a day that goes by that we are not absolutely delighted that we chose Maravilla. was a family owned business and fell in love with its beauty both on site and with the backdrop of the mountains. We also thought it was neat that we could rent items (ie: barn door and LOVE sign were some of our favorites). In doing a travel theme for our wedding we came to Jen with the thought of having our small cake along with an airplane piñata displayed somewhere around a tree. She came up with a fantastic idea of hanging the cake and then had her husband make a cake swing for us!
During our wedding, we had the wonderfully talented Erin working with us. Her calm demeanor and genuine smile made the night run smoothly and put us at ease that everything was going to plan throughout the day/night. We also want to thank Rob with Command Performance Catering for the amazing food and dining experience. I would also highly suggest going with DJ’s and florists off Maravilla’s recommended list as it lowers the stress level because they know the venue and staff. We had Henry from VOX DJ’s and Janet from Greenwich Florist. We would give them both 5 stars!
Throughout the wedding and at the brunch the day after, we got many comments such as, “This is the best wedding I have ever been too!” I would like to take some of that credit, however, the majority of the credit goes to the Maravilla Gardens staff, their expertise and their love for weddings.

d after roaming the grounds with the lovely Jo and seeing how well it photographs. And with its Camarillo location, we had no worries of weather impeding our celebration. This is a gardens surrounding a private residence, thus the entire wedding is outdoors.
Our July wedding turned out beautifully. It was a bit warm during the ceremony, but afterwards it died down enough to be very comfortable. Our coordinator Carolyn and the Maravilla staff were amazing to work with through the entire process. No detail that we requested or decoration that we supplied went unnoticed by their staff and everything was artfully prepared. Their caterer, Command Performance Catering (CPC) was amazing. They saw to it that our guests were well cared for and they visited us several times through the night to make sure we had all we wanted. Thank you Robert! Also important was that there was a space for the guys and the girls to get ready.
We chose to work with several of Maravilla's preferred vendors and would highly suggest that any couple getting married here look into them as well. Because choosing vendors that respected us as people and not just a dollar sign became very apparent to us early in the wedding process, we clicked with many of their suggested vendors.
Maravilla Gardens is not cheap, but it is so worth the price. This might have been because we chose the most expensive day of the week (Saturday), a slightly more expensive dinner option, and included several of their rentals. When it came down to it, our wedding ran like clockwork, we didn't learn of any snafus during that night, and we had the time of our lives for that one night. I know our bridal party and families had a great time also. Guests have called my parents to tell them what a fun time they had and how the setting was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about Maravilla Gardens.

You just tell Jen what you want and they do all the leg work for you! My husband and I can honestly say that our wedding was the best day of our lives. Leaving in the limo at the end of the night, we were sad because we didn't want to leave this magical place. The sparkler exit, was a highlight of the evening. I can not think of anything to critique because it was just so perfect, which is exactly how your wedding day should feel.

we knew immediately that this was the perfect place. Jo, the owner, was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process, and Erin, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute marvel. Everything was set up and ready to go and the entire day went off without a hitch, in great part due to Erin's amazing coordination skills! The site itself is absolutely beautiful, with fields and mountains as a backdrop and, of course, flowers everywhere. The market lights were an invaluable addition, especially for our fall wedding when it grew dark right around dinner time. We also ended up getting several other add-ons in addition to the market lights, which did rack up the price some, but overall it was extremely affordable and oh so worth it. There are great photo spots all around, especially in front of the barn and out in the fields behind the property. We really felt taken care of; and everything combined perfectly to make it an absolutely magical night.

d combined everything we liked about the previous places we had seen. There are rolling hills and fields in the background that give it that vineyard feel, there's a rustic barn on the property great for pictures and the grounds were beautifully landscaped giving it a garden feel. It's completely private - you are the only wedding on the property and the venue just had this peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that made us forget all about our wedding stress. Our guests said it was the most beautiful and unique wedding they have ever been to.
It's also easy to get to - right off the Santa Rosa Road exit off the 101. We and many of our guests live in Los Angeles, so some guests just drove up for the wedding and drove home afterwards - about an hour drive. But there are many hotels in the area - Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village - so it's also easy to find accommodations. (All of my guests stayed at the Hyatt in Westlake Village, about 20 minutes from the venue)
The staff is also great - very organized, professional and nice. We met with Jo, the owner, several times and felt very confident in our decision after meeting with her. And our day-of coordinator, Erin, was outstanding. She's extremely organized and makes sure your wedding flows perfectly, without a hitch. She also takes the time to make sure all your details are covered and really seems invested in your big day. She went above and beyond.
We also found the packages to be very affordable, especially in comparison to some of the vineyards we were looking at. If we had one complaint it would be the upgrades. Several of the things we were interested in and felt like we needed - like the shade canopy, ceremony table and heat lamps were all additional charges. We chose to have more upgrades and add-ons then was probably necessary but it all adds up. But since the actual wedding package was less than we had budgeted, we still remained under budget even with all the upgrades. But just keep in mind you'll have some additional charges if you want your wedding to look like the ones in the pictures on the site.
But overall, I give it an enthusiastic 5-star rating. Our wedding was unbelievable and it was truly a day that we, our family and friends will never forget.

oordinator Erin Boscovich, to the catering company that comes with the venue were spectacular. They made sure I was happy with everything and everything I wanted came true. They set you up with a day-of coordinator as part of your package who works with you starting about 1 1/2 months before your wedding. She makes sure she fully understands everything you want for your big day. She contacts all your vendors and coordinates with them. The day of, I didn't have to worry about anything. Even the security person they have to ensure everything goes well was super nice and polite to all the guests and helped them when they were looking for something. I definitely recommend this venue.

t sure what we were looking for until we found Maravilla Gardens. Walking around the grounds Tommy and I could tell this was the place. We felt so much love and positive energy all around us. With the gorgeous backdrop of the setting sun, we walked onto the dance floor for our first dance as a married couple. I looked around and took it all in. It was so beautiful and romantic. The setting had so much character. It was exactly what we wanted. The most memorable part of the day was being able to have our “Furry Attendant”, Pony Boy, walk down the aisle during our ceremony.

ation only has one wedding per day. It is a family house/business so they are directly involved and very friendly/helpful! The flowers and grounds were lovely and always in perfect conditions. They hosted a tasting event to taste food and see all the extra rentals you can purchase....lots of fun!;They cut everything at 10pm so as the night goes fast if you want longer dance time choose a site with later times.
