Marc O'Leary Weddings

Working with Marc O’Leary was SO great! He was easy and quick to communicate with and made the whole process so easy. He helped us develop our vision for how we wanted our wedding reception to be, and he hit the nail right on the head. We were so pleased with how everything went and we had many guests tell us it was one of the most fun receptions they’ve been to! He is so knowledgeable of music and how to make events great, and is just plain fun to work with. He had great suggestions to make our reception unique and we can’t recommend him enough!!

Words cannot describe how wonderful Marc and his wife were on our wedding day. They did an exceptional job bringing our creative ideas to life, and they surely kept everyone dancing until the very end. Marc is a great DJ and he and his wife Julie are wonderful to work with. He is much more than a DJ; he was the master of ceremonies and ran the whole reception. He organized not only the music, but had a complete schedule worked out for us to keep everything running smoothly. Marc met with us prior to the wedding to go through it all so we would know what to expect and to get a feel for the type of music we wanted. He gave us great ideas to make the evening more fun and get people involved. So many guests commented on how much fun they had at the reception. He really made the evening memorable. People were on the dance floor the entire evening - there was something for everyone. We ended with everyone wanting more! We highly recommend Marc O'Leary Weddings!

Marc went beyond being just a dj for us. He stepped up and used his experience to run our rehearsal when our reverend was over 30 minutes late. He gave us ideas to make our wedding not so cookie cutter and like every other wedding. We loved his ingenuity and it made the stress of planning mich easier.

Marc and his wife are truly exceptional. What they bring to the table is second to none. He practically ran our rehearsal dinner since our Reverend was running late. Marc is very organized, creative and helpful in laying the things out the way you want them and making your day the way you've always wanted it to happen. He is the only DJ that I will refer.

Marc and his wife Julie were so helpful to my sister on her wedding day AND in the months leading up to it. Many people have complimented the wedding and his work as the DJ since then. Marc was so much fun at the reception and I know all the guests had a great time largely in part to his work. He really knows how to read the crowd, while also staying organized, on task and on track throughout the night (which was very important to my sister/the bride). Overall, a great guy and a great DJ.

Marc O'Leary is the real deal. The dance floor was never empty, the beat never stopped, there was no break in momentum for 4 straight hours. I've been to countless weddings and my wedding was the best ever. Marc took our must-play list and created an event that my guests are still raving about. Marc is worth every penny!

Marc did an AMAZING job helping us personalize our big day. From helping coordinate our ceremony to keeping everyone on the dance floor all night, we couldn't have been happier with his services. Marc is more than a wedding DJ - we considered him to be our Master of Ceremonies. Some really cool things Marc helped us with: 1. He helped us create our bridal party Introductions. It was fun to share with our guests who each member of our party was and why we included them. 2. He met with us several times before our wedding day to help plan. On one visit, he recorded me talking about my father and added my voice in on the song I shared with my dad for our father/daughter dance. We got a lot of feedback from our vendors and guests that our wedding felt intimate and personal, and I think we owe a lot of that to Marc!

WOW! We are beyond happy with Marc! He really kept the party going. We did without a wedding coordinator, and with a wedding of almost 200 people, I was was very stressed. Marc was key in helping us plan our day. He kept an eye on the dance floor and catered the music to our friends and family. The overall process with Marc was so easy. Marc met about a month out to go over all the details. His professionalism was amazing and such a great touch.

Marc is very friendly and organized. He obviously knew his stuff, and was great at reading the crowd and meeting their needs along with ours. He was great at communicating both via e-mail and phone, and was so helpful in planning parts of our wedding beyond the dance floor. His wife Julie is also so friendly and was great with our guests and wedding party. We have already recommended him to our friends and would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Marc was simply amazing to work with. He kept in contact with us all throughout the planning process to make the night exactly what we wanted to be. During the ceremony, from start to finish, he was the engine that kept the party going. Marc was awesome from beginning to end. He was very responsive through email and phone whenever we had a new idea or song to add to our list. He let us know what we needed and we setup a Google Doc to share our thoughts as we heard songs we liked and found our entrance, first dance, etc. His pricing is great, with tons of options. He worked with our planners on the day of and everything was perfectly timed. The MCing was great (even grandma could hear what was going on) and the music selection was exactly what the crowd was feeling throughout the night. He had our parents and friends dancing side-by-side for hours. No easy feat! We can't recommend Marc enough!

Best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding, and lucky for us it was our wedding! We still have guests complimenting how amazing the DJ was! He made every step of the reception flawless, he had every guest on the dance floor, and he even brought fun props for the guests to enjoy. He is worth every single penny you pay for. And then MORE. Honestly, if you want your reception to be amazing, he is the guy. So professional, amazing to work with, and you won’t regret it!

I can't say enough great things about Marc and Julie. I consider them friends after getting to work with them this year. They are so passionate and knowledgeable about their business that it makes it easy to relax and enjoy your big day! Our wedding ceremony and reception were beyond perfect and it's because of these two wonderful people. Everyone was up and dancing and having a great time all evening! Marc was incredible to work with. From our first meeting, he made it perfectly clear that he only DJ's weddings, and his expertise showed! He helped us choreograph the entire ceremony and reception and made sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule. Along with allowing us to customize nearly all of the music selections, he also provided us with some memorable group sing-alongs, which were the highlight of the night. We received so many compliments about Marc and were so thankful to have someone we completely trusted to lead our entire wedding day. Marc had some unique ideas on our entrance to the reception that we had never thought of before, which initially drew us to him. He was recommended by multiple vendors we talked to and has a lot experience with weddings. He has a fun way of getting the guests involved in the party and really understands how the excitement of the reception should build over the night. We were working with a new venue space and he took the time to check it out ahead of time and ensure all of his equipment would work well. He gave us his honest opinion on some of the unique ideas we had for our reception but was open to everything we wanted to do. He was always very friendly and personable. We were really happy to have some unique aspects to our reception that Marc helped us with.

Marc is the best DJ I have ever seen, met, and worked with. It's easy to tell that Marc has been doing this job for a while, and he absolutely loves it! From our first interview with him he took the time to get to know us, learn about what we wanted in our event, and what he could expect from our guests. Marc definitely came prepared. He had two families, who have never met before, on the dance floor. All 135 of us. All ages. All shapes. Have you ever been to a wedding where EVERYONE was on the dance floor? I sure hadn't until my wedding. We can't give enough thanks to Marc and his wife for making our wedding the best day of our lives. They both helped our officiant through her first wedding. They made the entire process stress free. And created an environment where all of our guests told us it was "the best wedding they've ever been to." Not only is he born to be doing this, but he is an incredibly thoughtful person! It rained cats and dogs during our reception. Two weeks after the wedding we received a mason jar in the mail full of rain water from our wedding night. What a beautiful gift! We plan to use it for blessings in the future. We couldn't recommend Marc enough. He is absolutely the best. Look no further. If he's booked on your wedding day...change your wedding date. He's that good. Amazing....that is the word all of our guests used after the said..."wow! Who is you DJ?" Marc O'leary was wonderful from start to finish! So professional and fun at the same time! We can't say enough great things about him! I would highly recommend him to anyone! We even had guests asking for him card😊.

Yes! I couldn't have typed it any bigger. Marc is "the REAL Bride-Saver" His designer approach and his ideas made our night a total hit. We were worried about getting a DJ that talked too much or one that didn't talk at all. Marc fit nicely in the middle as our master of ceremonies. If you want to create a spectacular evening, use Marc as your DJ!

My family worked with him for my brother's wedding a few years ago & again for my wedding. He's a wonderful DJ! He was receptive to our unique music selections and fit in our themed music! He had great suggestions for the right type of songs for different each event at the reception. He had the right mix of dance and slow songs & found lots of great 20s to 50s music as we requested, even though that's not the norm for him! He is great at keeping people dancing & having fun all evening! Everyone had so much fun!!!

Marc was unfortunately not my DJ for our wedding, we made the mistake of using Complete whom I was underwhelmed with to say the least. Marc saved me when I was in a pinch. I had asked Complete about creating a CD with splices of various songs to play for the father daughter dance. We had designed a dance with various dance moves and Complete had given me some kind of excuse as to why they couldn't. My wedding planner knew Marc and had asked his advice. Marc took it upon himself to create the CD for me without knowing me, without asking for payment. He just did it to help a bride out in a pinch because he's a good guy and the CD was perfect! Knowing what I know now, I wish I could have had Marc as our DJ. Anyone who cares that much deserves the business.

Marc is truly a professional and great at what he does. He knows exactly what to do and what songs to play, but definitely values your opinion. We received several comments on how great Marc was. He kept the night moving smoothly and had the perfect music selection. The dance floor was packed the entire night because of the great music Marc played. He is the best!

DJs were more important to my husband than myself. I am very thankful though that he was so particular. We had been to several weddings where you could tell that they cut costs in the DJ area and it showed. Marc felt like a part of the group and he also acted as an event coordinator. We didn't even think about how to dismiss tables for dinner, but we didn't have to! Marc just took care of it after asking us if we had any specific requirements. He knew how to keep it interesting and people were dancing until the end of the night. He was definitely worth it.

My husband and I were married about two months ago in a small town outside of Kansas City. Wedding planning was extremely difficult and stressful due to our short engagement and living circumstances. We live in Africa, so planning a wedding in Kansas wasn't easy. Marc was one of the first and best decisions we made during the planning process. He helped relieve the stress and pressure of planning a reception by getting to know us and offering suggestions to help us get a good feel of how we wanted our night to go. Marc exceeded our expectations of a DJ/Entertainer. He was extremely profession. He was fun and very interactive with our guests. Most of our guests were still at the reception at the end of the night, and they didn't want to leave because they were having such a great time. Two months later, people are still asking about him and commenting on what an excellent job he did throughout the night. The staff at the conference center where our reception was held informed my family that the reception was one of the best, if not the best, reception they have ever had at the center and alot of that was because of Marc. If we had to do our wedding all over again, Marc would be at the top of the list of things that we WOULD NOT change. Marc is AMAZING at what he does!

Marc O'Leary may be one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. I have had so many guests rave about him and say that he is the best DJ they have every seen. He is worth every penny. Every obstacle you through at him, including live music and speakers at an outdoor venue, he overcomes perfectly. He is so professional, 100% on point with everything he does, and a very nice man. He amazed me so many times with the amount of responsibilities a DJ and I am so glad he was there for me! He not only made the day go smoothly, he made the night an incredible party.

We were so pleased with the job that Marc did for our wedding. From the moment we spoke he was very courteous and professional. He had great ideas to get everyone at the wedding reception involved. He didn't just go up to his booth and hit play, he interacted the entire night with the crowd, but not to much, just the right amount. Marc is the best DJ around! From our initial meeting with him to our ceremony he was so helpful! He even came to the rehearsal to make sure everything was timed right! He knows how to keep the crowd dancing!

Marc handled our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and everything was great! Several of our guests have said that they have never had so much fun at a wedding and specifically mentioned our DJ. He may not be the most inexpensive DJ out there but if you want someone that has quality equipment and provides excellent service, this is your DJ. He and his wife, Julie, kept the dance floor FULL all night. Julie even got on the dance floor to show us how to do the Cupid Shuffle. They go above and beyond even to the point of helping to plan so that when you are in the moment and are not sure what to do, he is there to tell you. Would definately recommend him to anyone! Great job!!!!

We hired Marc for our Evening wedding at Red Barn Farm in Weston, MO. From the start, Marc made everything seem possible. His professionalism, knowledge, and skill were evident in every meeting we had together. He was very insistent that the night we created with him was unique to us, but also approachable for our guests to keep the most people on the dance floor possible. One of the things that I was most impressed with was Marc's assistance in planning our wedding. He helped us make the night clear, where details of it had been a little blurry before. And once the wedding had begun and the night was in his hands. He seamlessly made the night move forward, every song he played was perfect to follow the one before, kept our guests (and us) dancing to our limits, and was without a doubt tailored to our odd tastes. He also controlled the mic so well, speaking and guiding the attention of our guests clearly and very entertainingly. In a nutshell? Marc is a hard working, talented, and personable Dj who did everything he promised and more. He's worth his price and never once made me feel like anything wasn't in his control. I give my highest recommendation, and testament to that is how many of my guests were asking him for his card that night. I should also add that the quality of his equipment is top-notch and the difference is noticeable. The speakers were right next to the dance floor but filled the space with music rather than overpowering the space with blaring sound. Excellent in every way.

If you want the whole package-Marc is the way to go. I knew after our initial meeting that I would be booking him. Not only is he a fantastic DJ, but he is so helpful in other aspects of wedding planning as well. He recommended vendors, helped me with my venue diagram, and answered every question that I had for him. His wife helped him out the day of my wedding and she was great as well. Overall, I was more than happy with my decision. I had so many compliments on the music played at my reception. One guest told me she was sore from dancing because there wasn't one song she didn't like. Thanks Marc for making my evening one that myself, and hopefully my guests, will never forget!

There are a lot of creepy DJs out there but Marc is not one of them. He really listened to us and even did a sing along section which was right up our alley. Gave him four instead of five because of an issue with play time, but Marc was more than gracious about this.

Marc is a very nice guy and very well prepared. He makes the process of planning the music at the wedding quite easy, as this can be a daunting task if not done well. He was a great host at the reception and was great at keeping us well informed about what was coming up next (announcing, first dance, speeches, cake cutting, etc.).

Expensive but if you need a party to go all night this is who you should call. Took time to have multiple meetings with us to understand what we wanted. Of a 230 person wedding we had over 100 on the dance floor at one point in the night. Friends who don't normally dance got out of their seats. Bose sound system included in his price. Our venue had difficult acoustics and he tuned his system to our room. It sounded perfect.

Marc was someone our photographer recommended to us and he didn't disappoint. We met with three different DJ's, but as soon as Marc said he had his own Bose speakers, my husband was sold. Marc kept things moving the whole night, and his wife Julie was a great help too! We loved his selection of music and he was quick to play any requests we made. He did a great job of getting everyone involved in the evening. We have gotten so many comments on how fun our reception was and obviously Marc played a big role in that. He was certainly not the least expensive DJ we looked at, but we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. We would highly recommend him!
